Head to the Ira Trailhead for parking. Great, flat, easy walk to see the most wildlife among many trails we visited. Turtles, snakes, beautiful birds. Beaver dams created the marsh, but no guarantee that your see one. Still cool :)

Nice walk along a shaded trail that follows the towpath. Informative sign at the lock with an elevation chart. The boardwalk itself is well maintained and wide enough for quite a few people to walk in either direction. The benches are in great spots to just sit and enjoy the silence and peacefulness of the area. The train for the scenic railway goes past every so often, but it's pretty quick and just another thing to watch as you're relaxing.

Chill hike. Great views. We even got to see a massive snapping turtle! Our two year old daughter loved it!

Beaver Marsh is an amazing spot for hikers and trail runners who also happen to be bird enthusiasts looking to soak up all the avian activity! See our full review at YouTube: Mancl Adventures: Day Trip at Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

It's 200' of boardwalk overlooking stagnant water. Aggressive bicyclists ripping past while everyone gawks at the lone bird. Nothing worth taking a photo of, otherwise I'd have shared one here.

Nice easy hike with plenty of good views. Fantastic location for birdwatching with many species present throughout the year.

Haven't seen any beavers, but I know they are out there. Really beautiful and peaceful place, just a short walk from the parking lot to the boardwalk where you can observe the wildlife and scenery. Come around sundown. You won't regret it.

This is where you want to set your GPS to for parking. The boardwalk trail starts here and the main viewing area is only a half mile away. We saw a couple herrings and ducks but I heard others say they've seen beavers and otters.
