A volunteer-run Tuesday market in the Franklin Junior High west lot, known for live music and a strong neighborhood crowd. The organizers confirm 2025 dates and highlight Double Up Food Bucks for SNAP shoppers.
I've been coming to this market for a long time. It's always well diverse in its selection. It's definitely gotten smaller over the years. I do miss when it was in the park, or the old Boesen field. It seems a little hot when there's so much concrete. But it's definitely my favorite 😍

This place was so fun. I have lived in the Metro for almost 15 years and never knew that Beaverdale had its own farmers market until my son and I stumbled upon it one afternoon. We had a great time trying salsa samples and spice samples, both of which we stocked up on because they were awesome! There are great food choices, ice cream, handmade wares and produce choices. A nice market for the middle of the week. We will definitely be back before the season is over.

Not the biggest of farmers markets by any means but I picked up some beautiful kohlrabi, tomatoes, sugar peas, and strawberries. Live music was nice to listen to while browsing. Had a good time, would recommend.

The perfect size, Mid-City, farmers' market. Fresh produce, flowers, some of the best baked goods anywhere, crafts, drinks, and great local food trucks. A Tuesday must.

It's fun. Not as big as the Des Moines farmers market, but what is? It's a charming street sale in "downtown" Beaverdale. Music, drinks and food available.

A pretty good market. Can't really compare to the market downtown but they have all the solid basics here, check it out and get some great food!

Smallish but awesome. They have a bit of everything and seem very willing to educate folks about their products and farms. Absolute pleasure!

Good variety of vegetable vendors. Nice shady location with plenty of parking. Convenient location and ice cream for the kids.
