BeaverTails- Queues de Castor (Amherstburg)

Absolutely loved this place! George was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely made the experience even better. You can tell he really cares about the people who come in. The food was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and honestly exceeded expectations. And the vibes? Immaculate. Such a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay, relax, and come back again. Highly recommend. Great food, great energy, and even better people. Will definitely be returning!

Ohhh my first BeaverTail experience was a 10/10. The store is bright, open, clean, inviting and other such positive adjectives. The staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful in suggestions. Ultimately I had to have the mEHple because maple is life. We sat down and waited patiently for our treats to be made fresh. A short 5 minute wait and we were blessed with our hot, fresh BeaverTails. The smell of the warm maple butter was enough to give me diabetes but a small price to pay for something so DELICIOUS. I got up quickly to ring the bell to celebrate this monumental milestone. A divine Canadian treat for the ages. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Tails and washed our hands and faces in the sink provide. Nice touch. We thanked the establishment and assured them we will be back in the future. Next time I must try those yummy looking hotdogs, next time! Truly I say to you, thank you BeaverTails and God bless!

Our first beaver tail. We each had a different kind. The staff were friendly. The store was very inviting. It was so well decorated with a true Canadian theme. Our beaver tails actually made it back to our house for a treat that afternoon. We will have to go back with the rest of the grand kids now

BeaverTails Amherstburg is an absolute must-visit! George went above and beyond—he genuinely made us feel special, taking the time to sit with us and treat us like family while still making sure every other guest was taken care of. That kind of service is rare and unforgettable. The entire staff was fantastic, friendly, and welcoming. On top of that, the poutine is hands-down the best in town, and the BeaverTails themselves are absolutely scrumptious. We’ll definitely be coming back—best experience all around!

I've been to several Beaver Tails but this one location is the one with the best customer service so far. I didn't get the name of the lady but she's super friendly and kind. Even offering to cut the beaver tail for us. Amazing!

What an amazing place! The service is kind and joyful, the food is amazing, the store is beautiful... The dough is delicious, a perfect combination between crispiness and softness... They make it fresh for you, so it's warm and decadent when you get it. There's a variety of toppings to choose from (hard to make a choice when everything looks amazing). We order Bananarama (hazelnut chocolate spread with fresh banana), strawberry Cheesecake (with graham crackers) and the Meh-ple Nanaimo bar. The three were absolutely amazing. I tried to record my great experience with a couple of photos and a video, but i can assure you, the experience is great. Worth the drive if you are not from Amherstburg Coming back for sure!!!

Beaver Tails is a Canadian classic.We decided to order the apple Beaver Tail and the portion was enough for the two of us.They have over a dozen varieties of Beaver Tails to choose from.We really liked the ideal that they had a sink available in the seating area to wash your hands.Highly recommend.

Excellent service great atmosphere wonderful people took the family and enjoyed one of the best Sunday afternoons in a long time. Highly recommend will definitely be returning soon. Do yourself a favor and get the poutine.
