Great restaurant, right on the water. Food was delish .. lamb chops were bomb, tasty salads, and pastas. Separate serious whiskey menu and good Turkish wines. Awesome service! We got a table later in the evening so we can catch DJs as they transition to livelier music. Great experience.

Bebek Hotel, while offering stylish rooms and a prime location with Bosphorus views, faces mixed reviews regarding service. Some guests praise its trendy atmosphere and excellent dining, while others find the staff inattentive and prioritize local clientele over hotel guests. If you prioritize a fashionable setting and stunning views, Bebek Hotel delivers, but manage expectations regarding service consistency.

Terrible news. There’s a penthouse suite that I paid top dollar for and apparently unbeknownst to us there’s a very loud nightclub that doesn’t end their extremely loud “ disco music “ at a decent time. It is 2 am and I have called the front desk twice. No help. Never stay at this hotel if you need sleep!

We stopped for drinks at the bar before our dinner at Sankai by Nagaya, and it was a nostalgic experience. Bebek Hotel has always held a special place in the hearts of Istanbul locals, a true institution that’s been popular for as long as I can remember. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations and looks very different now from when I was younger. It’s definitely aiming for a cooler, more hip vibe—now a place to see and be seen, frequented by wealthy locals and international visitors alike. In many ways, it’s finally a worthy competitor to Lucca across the street, and just as hard to get into. The staff are polite and friendly, though there’s a certain air of arrogance that wasn’t there in the old days. Still, I prefer this new version, as it felt like it was falling behind the times before. With its prime location right on the Bosphorus in Bebek, this bar will no doubt remain a favorite spot in the city for years to come.

An ideal perch to enjoy a brunch with a Bosporus view. The omelette was excellent.

I love the historic nautical design touches at this hotel. The breakfast was top-notch, and the clear sky and great weather added to the charm.

Rooms and suites have an amazing view (for the ones on the sea side). As for the rest it’s a huge disappointment, to say the least.|You’d be much better welcomed in other hotels in Istanbul, especially for this price.||They have a very nice terrace restaurant by the water, which you can barely access, except for breakfast. Food is nothing special.||It is impossible to book it for lunch or dinner, even if you have a suite. The staff is very rude and doesnt care if you are a hotel resident.|This same restaurant turns into a club (which you still can't access) with extremely loud music making it simply impossible to sleep until it stops ... After 5 am. ||On top of that, we had almost one hour in the complete dark as there was no power in the building.||It’s clearly not a hotel. It’s a posh restaurant/club, with average food, high prices, rude staff, and some rooms available upstairs with low consideration for its residents.

A good friend recommended Bebek Hotel as I have a preference for boutiques. I’m glad I blindly trusted my friend rather than rely on reviews as had I looked at some of the hotel guest reviews below - I might have reconsidered. I had a room on the second floor with a street view. I had a cocktail at the downstairs cafe when I arrived, and the views were incredible. I was exhausted from traveling so I ordered room service which came from the same cafe. The food was good, particularly the Winter Green salad. I’m surprised to see the reviews regarding the snobbery of the staff. This was not my experience. Amir was my first point of contact and really went above and beyond. The only issue I had was being unable to sit at the downstairs cafe on Sunday as there were no tables, but that is really my fault for not requesting ahead of time. Though the street was lively, it didn’t bother me. I slept well and had my window open. Recommendations to the hotel: Lighting While the lighting is great for ambience, I would recommend better lighting. I have no idea if I left anything behind because as I vacated at 5 am - I could hardly see despite having on all the lights. In addition, even the bathroom lighting is dim and I prayed for the best when applying makeup. TV casting Consider smart TVs that allow for chrome casting so visitors can cast from their devices which would help regarding the TV channels / languages. I’m not dismissing these other negative reviewers, but that certainly was not my experience. PS bath robes look like that hard towel fabric but WERE SO SOFT and completely amazing.
