Yelp
Ordered takeout from here a couple times, tried the burger, spicy burger, carne mexican style burrito, bulgogi korean style burrito, fries, wings, and churros. I want to like this place because I typically like these cuisines and I drive by here almost everyday. But I think twice is enough. The burger is fine, but you could get this same smash-style burger at so many other places, for the same price or cheaper, and it'd be great. The carne burrito was bland. My son said it was the worst burrito he's ever had. The korean burrito was bland. It's like they don't use salt or something, ever, on anything. It's odd because the ingredients in the korean burrito make sense, bulgogi, rice, supposedly korean sprouts, cucumbers, and kimchi. But it tasted so plain. And the spicy/sweet red sauce they offer and slather on a lot of their stuff, I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure it's just straight gochujang. I have a korean MIL that makes bomb korean food and you do not use gochujang how this place uses gochujang. The wings were ok, not spicy how you would think those spicy flavors should be. They're the meaty/fatty kind of wings, not crispy. We got plain fries b/c we like them crispy without all the stuff on them, and they were good and crispy. The churros were ok, nothing that I would go out of my way to get. Idk yall. Maybe if they advertise that they made some changes, I'll try them again. But if not, I'm done. My advice, the chef or owner needs to get some feedback from people who know this food, ingredient by ingredient, season everything piece by piece so it tastes good to a chef's palate, don't worry about the old white dude on the corner that thinks everything is too salty or too spicy. People come to places like this because they like these flavors. Give us these flavors!! Then let me know, and I'll be back.
