The Becca Restaurant & Garden was amazing! Ambiance was truly classy and elegant. Everyone dressed to impress. We came here for dinner to celebrate an anniversary and were not disappointed with our choice. One of the first things our waitress asked was if we were celebrating anything and once we told her it was our anniversary, she mentioned that we would get a free chocolate truffle dessert on the house which I thought was super sweet. Our waitress, Anastasia, was superb! Very informative, as it was our first time here. Super accommodating, professional and sweet. She topped off our waters every chance she could, checked on us quite often (but not too often). She made us feel very important.
The food was exceptional! We received their complimentary bread (which was HUGE). They even gave us a small card with the recipe on it so we could make it ourselves! The honey butter the bread came with was extra fluffy and sweet (honey was sourced locally - AWESOME).
The she crab soup was packed with flavor and super creamy. We ordered the truffle agnolotti and it was sooo good, the truffle flavor was not overpowering and had just the right amount of lemon in it to balance out the flavor. The duck confit rolls were AMAZING. I am not typically one to go for duck, however they cooked this to perfection. It was like a perfectly-cooked, savory, duck egg roll and was paired with a balsamic fig reduction and this balsamic fig was surprisingly very sweet! The two paired together was harmonious.
Our entrees were absolutely scrumptious. The crab cake was one of the best I've had in this area. Not dry at all, very flavorful on a bed of fresh veggies with some lemon butter - amazing combination! My partner got the pork tenderloin, again, cooked to perfection. Paired with the veggies, balsamic fig reduction, mustard seeds, pepper jam and Dijon dill, it surprisingly wasn't too "busy". Everything complimented each other and it was great! The side of truffle fries was packed with truffle and Parmesan flavors. I honestly didn't think the garlic aioli was needed, although it did add more texture. Their house cut is pretty thick as well!
When it was time for dessert, they mentioned gifting us with two free glasses of champagne as well on top of the chocolate truffle which I thought was super sweet! We were so full by this time but really wanted to try another dessert aside from the truffle, so we got the sorbet trio. The trio included a lemon, mango and raspberry flavor. The lemon was very tart and sour! However the mango and raspberry were very sweet, so the 3 flavors together worked really well to balance out the sweet and sour. We ended up mixing the lemon with half of the mango and half of the raspberry to create a raspberry/mango lemonade flavor and it was scrumptious.
Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing! It is a bit on the pricier side, but we were very happy with the quality of the food and service. Plus we were STUFFED (I thought since it was more of a fancier place that the portions wouldn't be as filling, but i was wrong!). It was definitely worth every penny. We plan on coming back for more special occasions, and to one day try their brunch menu :)
