Talked my husband into taking me to a vineyard while spending the weekend in Fredericksburg. My dad had told us that he heard good things about Becker Vineyards so that is where we went on Saturday afternoon around 3:30. The drive up to the parking lot from the highway is lovely as are the buildings on the property. We were able to purchase a tasting at the front desk upon arrival and given tickets so that we could get our drinks at the indoor or outdoor bar. The service at both bars was friendly and helpful. There were also a good number of people there that afternoon but it didn't feel crowded and it didn't affect our experience. They had lots of products to browse as well as a small food menu if you were feeling snacky. Overall it was a really nice experience, but, and I want to say this in the nicest way possible, the wine is still Texas wine.

The country vibes in this place is a go-to. I liked how peaceful and relaxing this vineyard is. There's plenty of parking in front. There's a shop where we did tasting of the wine. We bought a bottle of red wine! After some shopping, we sat in front of the garden. We sat while sipping their fine wine. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back!

Reserved the Tasted Seating for four in the afternoon and what a great experience! Samantha was amazing! The wine was good and paired well with the plated charcuterie. We enjoyed everything and would definitely stop back by when in the area.

Great place to enjoy good wine with family and friends. Was able to visit the Library Cellar and meet some of the people who make this wonderful wine. It is so enjoyable to be able to go to a winery to relax and appreciate the wine. The Wine Hosts definitely want to make the experience a great one.

I have only been to a winery two other times a really long time ago and this experience i will remember forever. Jess and Cynthia were absolutely amazing to work with and help us pick the best wines! As a non wine drinking person, just tagging along for the fun, I LOVED every second of this experience. I also loved the lavender farm and lavender goodies we were able to purchase! I would recommend Becker Vinyards a million times! I now know I am a "Port girl" and all about the sweeter things in wine country!

Google
My favorite winery we visited!! We did the tasting experience that was ticket-style so you could go back to the bar and redeem your next wine of choice whenever you were ready (rather than be rushed to gulp them down). Lots of options, knowledgeable staff, and beautiful photo opportunities! *note we did go in the off-season, January*

Google
This is a very beautiful place to hang out. The atmosphere is serene. The grounds are beautiful and the vineyard gives you the feeling that you're in a true winery. There is no real signage that indicates where you should go to check in and the staff at the front desk were not friendly nor clear in their instructions. There was no one advising patrons as to where they should go when they go in. They supposedly serve cheese boards but we never found anyone to order them from. I'd go back again for the gardens though.

Amazing wine. Make sure to do the tour and schedule it with Cynthia! She is so knowledgable and passionate about wine. Don’t miss this place.

Yelp
Our favorite winery so far when you take an account and weigh everything. Overall great experience.

Yelp
Becker is my favorite vineyard in Fredericksburg. Love the wine and that's its a local brand. They have a good mix of whites, reds, and dessert wines. I usually go for the Cabernet or Tempranillo here. Atmosphere is laid back with lots of space inside or outside patio to enjoy your wine. We did a tasting indoors then got glasses to drink outside. Tasting was decent pour for each taste. The staff was very knowledgeable and would explain each wine's flavor profile, tasting notes, etc. before pouring. They often have live music on weekends, which makes for a fun place. They also offer free wine tours of production and down to the cellar. Definitely recommend this! Great way to see the whole experience without traveling to Napa. In the spring, the backyard is gorgeous as all the flowers are blooming and it looks like a field of colorful flowers. Makes for beautiful sites & photo ops! Becker has become my go-to Texas wine brand when buying local wine at the grocery store. Everytime I'm in Fredericksburg, I have to make Becker a stop!

Yelp
This is one of the most established wineries along the 290 corridor. Their first vintage was back in 1995. If you plan on visiting the winery, it is not located directly on 290, it's about a mile down Jenschke road. Out of the 11,000 Texas wineries, they are the largest producer and use 25% of all the grapes grown in the state. I came here with a large group of wine enthusiasts and we got the grand tour. Along with their impressive facilities and barrel rooms they have a very large tasting room where you can purchase many of their wines that you won't see featured in stores. Most of their wines sit between the $20 and $50 price point. They do offer a 20% industry discount if you work within the alcohol business. And yes, they'll flip the tip screen over on you. Unlike many of the wineries in the area, they do actually have the ability to serve chef prepared meals for your wedding rehearsal or family /work gathering. They have a complete separate dining room for those events. Our group had lunch in that dining room with a wine pairing menu. Definitely one of the most notable wineries in the area that should be on your must visit list. Very informative photos included to get you through the door.

Yelp
Iconic vineyard that is a MUST stop. Samantha and the entire team are world class. Thank you Samantha for such a great experience.

Yelp
We had a eating good, laughing hard, wine dranking time! Loves Becker Vineyard hosted an even with venders and live music right before the summer. This event has made me feel super fancy. Funny fact is sometimes you have to go south south to see the bueaty of Austin and when we hopes in thr car to BV it was scheduled to rain real nice. I loved going to see thr grapevines up close and speaking with the venders.

Yelp
Beautiful space, nice wine, wish it were a little more structured of a wine tasting with information given instead of here are your tickets, order what you want, but the service was great the day we were there and the inside bar seemed to give more details than the girls outside.

Heather J.

Yelp
Probably the best place we've visited so far in Fredericksburg and just okay. The staff were okay, the wine was okay, and the venue is beautiful. We just had higher hopes based on the reviews and advertising for Fredericksburg. Guess if we were reviewers for magazines or news crews or something we'd have better experiences.

Yelp
My wife and I enjoyed two events at Becker Vineyards, part of their monthly lunch/dinner events. The first one was the Sat 12/23/2023 lunch event, and the second one was the 02/09/2024 Valentine day dinner. Both events were beautifully prepared by their event team. The Christmas lunch was setup as a long table in their Lavender Haus, which is an old fashioned building with the warmth of the west. The Valentine dinner was setup with tables of 8 people. Either way, it was very well laid out. The first thing that impresses is the number of wine glasses per person (7 or so). You know you are going to have fun! Both menus were prepared by their French chef, Jean Claude Balek from Napa, CA. They are crafted with excellent ingredients, and inventive flavors. You can read all about it in my wife's review (Shonel G.), who also "leveraged" all my pictures I had shared with her on WhatsApp, so I don't have much new to show here! What I want to say is that this is a nice venue, the service is awesome and the wine is really, really good. We are so far from the early wines of TX when I came to this country in the late 90s... Also, the Becker family attends these events, including their latest baby girl, which we find adorable! Please keep doing this, it's a fun adventure for us and a nice excuse to drive to the Fredericksburg area.

Yelp
For those of you who know us, wine and wine tastings are important to us. During COVID, when everything shut down, we no longer had our weekend tastings. As a substitute, we started watching virtual tastings. One of our favorites was from Becker Vineyards. Dr. Becker and his crew (his staff: Bobby, Nichole, Katelyn, and John) became a part of our weekly Wednesday night wine tastings. To this day, they are still hosting their tastings! Fea and I always mentioned that if we ever traveled to Texas, we would stop by the vineyard. That time finally arrived, and they lived up to all our expectations. The tasting was wonderful and on par to the wine we've had from Napa Valley. We also received great service from Roy, Paula, and Ginny, who gave us a fantastic tasting, a tour of the vineyard, and an excellent charcuterie board. We weren't expecting to personally meet the folks from the virtual tastings. At most, we thought we might see them in passing during our visit. However, after Paula heard our story, she said, "Let's see if Bobby is around." Sure enough, he stopped by to greet us! Then came Nichole, followed by Katelyn, and finally John! All of them took time from their busy schedules to say hello and let us know they appreciated us. In turn, we got to express how much they meant to us, and how thankful we are for all their hard work providing the virtual tastings. I could keep going on and on about how amazing today was, but I'll just end by saying: if you're ever in Austin, drive out to Becker Vineyards. You won't regret it!

Jamie P.

Yelp
We LOVE this vineyard but the one lady on staff today was horrible. So rude and such a bad mood. 6/25/25 I've never encountered anyone at Becker so rude and uninviting!
google avatar

Noelle M.

Yelp
We were met with terrible attitude from one of the two hostesses and an outdoor bartender. They both clearly did not want to be there and god forbid you ask the bartender a question about their wines (isn't that the point of going to these wineries? Learning about and trying their wines?). So unfriendly it was actually astonishing. As you can see if you read more reviews here, I'm one of many who mention this. I would never return purely because of the service. There's plenty of other vineyards with employees who are kind and happy to educate you on their wines. I'm not paying $18 for a glass of wine to be spoken to that way.

Yelp
We attended the 2024 VALENTINE'S DINNER FRI. FEB. 9 and it was just as nice as the dinner at Christmas time. It was hosted in the lavender house a rustic farm house style building on the property. The tables were perfectly decorated with clear chargers with gold accents, dusty rose table napkins, dusty rose tea rose accents on the chargers and also as a focal detail in the middle of the table. Each place setting included a menu. This was a perfect introduction to the wine pairings and courses. The meal started with the Poached Oysters and Pearls with Caviar Nage It was accompanied by the 2022 Jolie (one of my favorites)& the 2020 Chardonnay Reserve Let me be honest I didn't know I loved poached oysters till this evening! Next course was the Beets with Citrus salad that included Chicories, a touch of Chèvre & Tarragon this was paired with the 2022 Viognier Reserve- Six Harts Vineyard and the 2020 Barbera. Next was the perfectly cooked Texas Wagyu & Lobster, Foie Whipped Celeriac, Local Mushrooms & Black Truffles. They paired this dish with the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve- Canada Family Vineyard & the 2018 Ranger Hays ( I really enjoyed this one) Lastly we moved on to dessert a Triple Chocolate Mousse, Champagne Liqui Gels, Berries this was paired with a Port. If you love wine, upscale dinning and or just an excuse to do something a little different this is your place. You can go on the website and buy tickets to an event. I have attended twice and I will be back! This place does have something for everyone, smaller tastings and group tastings are also available.

Yelp
Attended Lavender Fest & Tasting! It was so fun & everything we tried was delish. We will likely become members.
google avatar

Lexi H.

Yelp
We came for the Lavender Festival in April and it was so nice! They had live music throughout the day, local vendors, food trucks, a lavender pop up, wine tasting, charcuterie and an offered luncheon. The wine pourers were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Was only in Fredricksburg for two nights and stopped at a total of 3 wineries. Of the 3, Becker Vineyards was my absolute favorite! From the service, establishment, and wine... everything was superb across the board! Kim and Roy took great care of us and we were pleased with our selection of bottles to take home with us. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful grounds and great outdoor seating. Lots of covered outdoor seating and some water misters to keep it cool. We can during grape stomping and participated which was a great experience. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're ever around during the grape stomping timeframe. Becker offers free grape stomping and you can purchase a shirt to put your foot prints on it. The shirt is a nice shirt for $18 which is so cheap compared to other wineries. Well worth it! They don't really carry sweet wines but have a few semi sweet. My boyfriend loves sweet sweet wines but really loved the Fleur Sauvage so I'd recommend trying that if you are a sweet wine drinker.

Yelp
Ambiance 5 stars ***** Service 5 stars ***** Wine/Food 4.5 stars ****1/2 Overall a 5-star experience for us. The vineyards and tasting room/patio are lovely with plenty of space for conversation or a walk around the grounds. They have a generous pouring of more than a dozen varietals and blends from which you can choose 7 to sample. Despite reading about how well South European varietals grow in Texas, I was surprised to find that my favorites were the Cab and Chardonnay, which had just the right amount of oak. Make sure to do the complimentary tour which takes roughly 30 minutes and gets you into the barrel room and wine cellar. The icing on that cake was that my car battery died(daughter left the door ajar) and the staff quickly got a team member out to get us a jump start. Thanks so much for a great experience.

DaManns R.

Yelp
Of three vineyards we visited on a recent tasting tour, Becker was the most expensive and most impersonal. Wouldn't pick it the next visit.
google avatar

Quyen B.

Yelp
I've visited twice. The staff here is very friendly, didn't pressure us to become members or seemed unhappy when we didn't want to become members. $25 for 6 tastings plus a welcome rosé tasting is pretty generous. Also $25 for the charcuterie board, $45 at other wineries. The wine glasses are not included with tastings, available for purchase for $10. Check their website for private members only event before you go, otherwise you'd have to turn around and go somewhere else.
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
I went here with a friend to stomp some grapes, get a tour of the grounds and do some wine tasting. We had a blast! The entire vineyard is serene, clean and peaceful. They even have a flower farm of sorts, I don't know if guests can walk through it but it made for a great photo op. We did some wine tasting and then got a glass each. I unfortunately don't remember what I got but I remember that the glass of white wine was equally dry and refreshing, which I was impressed by. Staff were also friendly and helpful. I would go there again and highly recommend it.

Yelp
Great wine, great service, beautiful grounds. We always have a great time at Becker.

Yelp
The winery in this area that started it all. If you want to know more about Texas wine - don't pass up this gem. This small winery has grown and grown which is just fabulous. Most of the winery owners, wine makers, tasting room staff have all worked at Becker at some point in their careers. We did a small group tastings and really loved working with our guide Cynthia who modified the standard tour to help accommodate our schedule crunch and the wine knowledge of those in the group. Excellent work Cynthia!!!
google avatar

Dan L.

Yelp
Sharing the Texas with friends it would have been a miss not to enjoy some Texas wines and what better place than Becker Vineyards. This venue is beautiful and even in the heat the flowers were gorgeous. Love the stone and the open areas. The individual that helped us noticed I seemed nervous because it was 5:23pm and their last pour is at 5:30. My friends were asking tons of questions but she leaned over and said, "We pour until 7:00. We just don't let anyone in after 5:30." Whew! Wines are wonderful and we became club members. Really great place y'all.
google avatar

Kimmy S.

Yelp
We had been wine club members for a long time and only recently noticed the downturn of employees. The last two times were had traveled there (6 hours) to visit, the employees were rude and insulting. The wine is good, but not good enough to put up with rude employees. We have canceled the wine club and have decided not to return to this winery. Messina Hof has our business now.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been to Becker Vineyards several times. They have a nice set up for tasting wines. This was the first time I took my husband to Becker. Unfortunately, we had poor service. The wine server, was not very helpful. My husband doesn't like too dry wine and enjoys sweet better. The sever was pretty blunt and short, "We do not make any sweet wines." I knew this already since I've been here many times. I suggested their Jolie wine. He did not offer any suggestions and was quite rude. It sorta ruin our experience. We drank one glass of the Jolie and took the rest home. The bathrooms are cool and clean. There are many places to sit outside. The gift shop sells cute wine gifts and things. Keep in mind they are pricey at Becker. Overall not a great visit this time around, but we will give them another visit sometime.

Yelp
What better thing to do on a rainy Saturday when in Fredericksburg TX?! Go to this awesome winery for a bottle of my new fav 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve! It's so good that I'd come back on a snowy Saturday too!! Great open vineyard with the nicest servers. Had a one man band on the patio strumming the likes of Billy Joel, Adele, and Sir Paul McCartney! Made my wine sipping much more enjoyable. There was even a 21 girl wedding party hanging out celebrating. Sister in law liked the Pinot Grigio and we all shared a charcuterie which was another highlight. Definitely going back to grab a few more bottles before I leave!
google avatar

Thomas F.

Yelp
While the setting and grounds were pretty, the wine tasting greeter (lady) and two pourers (men) were rude. They should rename their "wine tasting " "wine sipping" because all you got was three sips out of a glass. You can't possibly make an assessment of the wine with such a small portion. SKIP this place if wine tasting is on your agenda in the Fredericksburg area. I think the wines were overpriced for the quality but again, how can I know with 3 measly sips (or 2 tastes)??

C C.

Yelp
ALL the staff were friendly and welcoming! Both bar staff ladies inside bar and outside bar were happily to explain the wine tastings. Special thanks to Sandy!
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
We had a really nice time looking around and the property is very nice. We were staying in the area so we bought tastings where they give you 6 tickets to use. We used 2 and decided to use the others the next day. Well guess what? You cannot do that as all the tasting coupons need to be used on that same day. No explanation, no refund, and honestly they weren't very nice about like we were stupid and should have known. However once the employee saw my $5000 camera and I mentioned that this would be mentioned in my review, only then did she offered a free sample. We were really disappointed as the tastings are $25 each and to provide a glass and allow us to enjoy the winery a second day doesn't cost a thing. Overall I think there are plenty other wineries (39) in the area that you should go to instead. This one has gotten too snooty for us.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
My friends are members here and we did a wine tour - it was such a nice time! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly! If you are a member and haven't used your your don't let it go to waste even if it's just with a small group. They give you a small charcuterie plate at the end. It was smaller than expected for a group our size but overall a really nice experience. We went for a friends birthday and it's the perfect place to bring a group together for a special occasion.
google avatar

Autumn W.

Yelp
MUST GO TO!! Hands down the best vineyard in Fredericksburg. Bobby made us feel so welcomed along with the rest of the staff. The wine is AMAZING! The property is beautiful! Everyone is very friendly. Loved every minute here. Huge shoutout to Bobby for giving us such a great experience!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Glad we got a wine tasting of reds on the beautiful patio today. Winery is beautiful and ample seating. Wine staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Wine taste is what we expected. The d' este was our favorite and it has ups and downs and interesting. We got to keep the wine glass so that was cool. Pretty place for adequate wine.
google avatar

Semhar M.

Yelp
Fredericksburg on its own is a vibe. It was our first time visiting Texas wine country and wow was it incredible! We love picking up Becker wines at our local grocery stores in Dallas so my husband was determined to visit their vineyards while in Fredericksburg! Wow. First of all, this is a VENUE. I'm talking everything you could imagine in a winery. Straight out of a movie. The staff was so kind, even when we showed up 30 minutes before closing, (oops). Whoever is reading this and debating whether or not to have their wedding in wine country, DO IT. The Malbec is absolutely fantastic! 100% recommend this bottle when visiting and to take a couple of other bottles back home with you. We had the most amazing time and felt like movie stars the whole time. Will recommend to all!

Yelp
Excellent Rose and Red Blend! Enjoyed the relaxed outdoor views! Very family and Dog friendly

Yelp
Great morning visit. Pet and kid friendly. Beautiful grounds and the welcome rosé is a nice touch.

Yelp
I've been to Becker multiple times through the years and it's proven itself as my favorite. It's so much so that I joined their wine club (my first wine club) during COVID, when they were shut down for tastings. I wanted to support this beautiful winery with its delicious, well priced wines. After my second shipment of wines, I was able to enjoy some of the perks of my wine club membership (aka complimentary wine tastings). I went with a few friends to do an early Friday outdoor wine tasting. If you didn't know, Becker was one of the last wineries to re-open so it shouldn't have surprised me how seriously they were taking everything. You have to have a reservation (we did) and all of the tables (outdoor-only option) were much further than 6ft apart. In addition to that, we did see them cleaning the tables in between reservations. My friends and I enjoyed our leisurely outdoor tasting and were able to feel a bit of normalcy. It was so enjoyable. Tasting prices seemed a bit higher than before but I'm sure they have to account for the fact that they can't have as many tastings.
google avatar

Hoa L.

Yelp
I really enjoy the wine and tastings they have at Becker Vineyards. They have won many awards and their wine has a distinct flavor. Make sure you have a reservation before going. I also love their wine glass, and I'm glad we get to take it home after the tasting. They have a wide tasting bar and the staff are friendly.
google avatar

Fernanda F.

Yelp
Becker Vineyards is by far one of my favorite wineries in Fredericksburg! Their wine is superb and the place is just beautiful. We've always had a great experience when visiting and this last time was even better. Due to COVID-19 they've changed a few things, but here are a few things you need to know before visiting: - Due to COVID-19 they only accept reservations. We visited on a weekday without a reservation and were lucky to grab a spot at their outdoor area, but if you are planning on visiting on a weekend please call ahead. - All wine has to be paired with food. They've created pre-fixed tasting options so that is easier for the public. - Everyone must be wearing a face mask when walking around the property. - They have a very generous military discount. - There are no tours of the winery at this time. Thank you Becker Vineyard for the 5-star experience! Can't wait to go back and taste more of their delicious wine.

Yelp
My family and I were looking for a winery to visit on our vacation during the 4th and we had such an amazing time at Becker! We went around 2pm. The lady in the red glasses at the concierge desk was so sweet and made us laugh which was such a great start to our experience. After out tour, we went outside and had a few tastings with Mitch. He was so informative, funny, and very inviting. We really enjoyed his hospitality and will definitely be coming back to see him! One of us signed up for the membership and we bought lots of bottles at the end of our visit! 10/10 recommend. (I would like to note that after reading all of the previous reviews about being cut off, I definitely suggest doing your tasting at the bar and have a the charcuterie board to pair with your tastings so you don't let the wine get to you. )
google avatar

Carissa C.

Yelp
My friend and I had selected Becker Vineyards as our last wine tasting stop of the day, and it was wonderful! This place is by appointment only, and we were seated right away even though we showed up 30 minutes before our scheduled time. Our waiter was very friendly, did a great job explaining everything, and really took his time with us. We tasted 6 different wines, and we ended up with a bottle of the Cinsaut. It's a great-tasting, easily drinkable red wine! We also got to take home our glasses and we ended up purchasing a lovely lavender bath bomb. Would return!
google avatar

Renee J.

Yelp
I am a member at Beckers, it was the first winery I joined in Fredericksburg. I have always love the the wines and the environment. We love the live music on the covered patio area and the members tasting room is a very nice getaway from the crowds. Now that Covid protocols are loosened, the pick up parties are getting back to the way they used to be. Some of the first few pick up parties were not as organized as they were before but this one was just like old times. I definitely recommend Beckers for any Fredericksburg visitors.
google avatar

Bailey Q.

Yelp
What's special about this place? History... history amongst other things that set them apart from every other Fredericksburg winery. Firstly, they allow 6 "tickets" for tastings. Gone are the days where you have to pick red vs white on a set menu. Drink what YOU like and let the tasting staff take you on an adventure. Secondly, if you don't match with Dean you are missing out. He was not only personable but he listens! He went out of his way to ensure we all enjoyed our time there. He was well versed and made great recommendations. Plus, it's beautiful. There's indoor space and outdoor space. Whatever tickles your fancy. Give it a shot!
google avatar

Lee D.

Yelp
Stopped here when Pedernales Falls State Park was full up and it turned out to be a great way to spend a couple of hours. One of the few wineries open early and on a Monday. We were about to start our tasting when a free tour was announced. Why not? We always learn something new and this time it was that the wine industry also deals with "Angel Share" which we thought was just in bourbon making. After the approximately 30 minute tour, we paid for a tasting ($25 for six one ounce pours). We are not fans of white wine but upon Kaylee's recommendation, we tried the Vigonier (served to three Presidents) and it was very good! After our tastings, we purchased a glass of the Vigonier to eat with our picnic lunch on the beautiful grounds.

Yelp
Wine was 11/10 , service was good. The atmosphere was chill, laid back and sophisticated. Cello player was 10/10, he was a vibe. But I couldn't take a nap. Everything was fine.

Yelp
We always stop at Becker before heading home. We love their wine selection. This weekend we had nice weather and great atmosphere. Went home with three bottles of high end wines. Looking forward in coming back soon.

Yelp
Not gonna lie you guys, I originally planned on going here but then decided to skip it but then I ran into people in other wineries and they all keep recommending this winery and I decided to go try it out. I am so glad I did! This was in my top 3 wineries for that day. At this point in my trip, Becker vineyards were my 5th and last winery for the day so i was kinda on the tipsy side when I got here. Not too far from the main road so it's easy to find and let me tell you.. the vineyards are BEAUTIFUL!!! Driving towards the main building you have to drive past some of the vineyards and its just soo pretty. Once you get past that then you are faced with the main tasting room that feels like a cathedral! It has wooden beams, rock work and has an antique feel to it without it feeling like a creepy basement. I mentioned in my other reviews that I am a sweet wine person and this place did not disappoint. They have a wide variety of dry, semi-dry, merlot, etc. With this many varieties, there is sure one you will fall in love with. The tasting room was this big open room with a bar area in the middle and you just kinda stand there getting your wine samples and stuff so there are no seats. I really liked the decor and another thing i liked about this location was the abundance of locals that were super friendly towards me. I got to talking to a guy who goes there often enough that the workers know him by name and they already know which wine he likes to start off with. That really says a lot about the winery and its workers. Anywho, started talking to this guy and i asked about where his favorite place to eat was and i got some really good recommendations. It was starting to get late and i decided my time at Becker must come to an end but not before i got some quality time out in the grapevines! It was a hot afternoon and did not go out exploring anything past the back porch of the winery but if i had the time and energy I would have. I will highly recommend this place as a stop along the wine road. Plus you can't pass a chance to sample 6 wines for $20 and receive the wine glass they came in.

Yelp
During our stay at the Blumen Haus BB the host put us on to Becker Vineyard. This place is really beautiful and relaxing. We arrived when they first opened on Sunday which is noon. It was a good decision to get there early because we saw how popular it can be and it was nice to get our pictures in early. They have covered outdoor seating which overlooks the lavender fields so it also smelled great. Sitting was available inside as well and some other chairs and tables were setup in the grass area. They also had a food truck vendor that offers a few menu items. It's good they are their because time flies by and you can get hungry tasting wine. We opted to do the sample tasting which allowed for 6 wine tastings at $20. This was nice because we were able to sample 12 wines between the 2 of us. It really gave us a chance to figure out what we liked. Their are so many options, we decided we'd have to come back to taste more. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. They were knowledgeable and patient with patrons. We are not wine experts so it was great that they guided us along the way.

Yelp
I heard this place was notorious for cutting off innocent people but I never expected to be a victim. My girlfriends & I came here for our last stop on our private wine tour. After having 2 of the (smallest) tastings out of the 4 we prepaid for we were cut off by our waiter. After waiting 20 minutes to speak with a manager we were informed the reason for getting cut off was due to our friend closing her eyes multiple times. This was a ridiculous statement since she had no sunglasses on and it was bright outside. Also, if this was an issue with them they should've come over and gave us some sort of heads up or warning. I believe Becker Creek is a scam since they just want to take your money and cut you off for no reason. I'm sure they do this all the time to innocent girls. I'll never be back.
