The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, and great atmosphere. The burgers are not the same burgers from 10 years ago and taste a little different, ( less flavor)

Stay away for this place it’s an absolute ripoff!! They charged me $30 for a half cooked tasteless burger and French fry. They claimed it was smoked but it taste more like a boiled hamburger. Not to mention thier hot dogs are not real beef and taste like a boloney dog. Never again!!

Gross food and rude people. I ordered online and when I arrived the drive thru was not only a weird layout, but the girl acted all upset and bothered that I didn’t automatically know this restaurant’s operations. She had a huge attitude with me just for being confused. I honestly didn’t say anything cause I just wanted to eat. I ordered a veggie burger and sweet potato fries. The fries are okay I guess, I mean they’re fries. I’ve had better and these are not worth $6, a small amount too! I opened my burger to see almost no sauce (I asked for mayo) there was MAYBE a teaspoon in the middle. I luckily have mayo but then I bit in and it was so gross. Mushy, tangy, and orange. It was nasty. I threw it away promptly. Definitely not coming back.

Love this place! My favorite thing to get is the cob salad add steak. It is delicious and very good. I highly recommend. Also the burgers are amazing definitely try those too.

This is by far one of my favorite places for burgers and fries, especially their sweet potato fries! I usually get my order to go, so I haven't been inside since the recent renovations. I CAN say, however, that the drive-through situation is much better now that they have added the additional window. The parking lot congestion and flow is 100% improved. I will say that this place is quite pricey compared to others, but the quality of the food that you get is superior, especially for drive-through food. It's hard for me to pass by without stopping for lunch or dinner. I have a friend who lives nearby who knows that any time I come to her place, I will have stopped to pick up Becks Prime on the way. The food always smells wonderful and tastes even better. I have never been disappointed.

Honestly, one of the best burger spots I've been to in awhile. I highly recommend to come get the burgers here. Definitely return in the future.

Great Houston tradition for great burgers, fries and shakes. They also serve steaks and various "plated classics". Roomy patio out front with tables under the big oak trees. Dine in or drive through. Highly recommend!

Food is not worth the price at all but the main reason for the review is the staff and service. Attitude the entire time, no eye contact, annoyed the entire time. And then has the nerve to ask for a tip at the end of some of the worst service I’ve ever had. I normally don’t leave reviews but I can’t stand rude people, I’d rate 0/5 if possible

I forgot how good Becks burgers can be. They are fresh off the grill and really no gimmick like all the new smash burger places. It is just an excellent taking burger....a little pricy

I can't believe that Yelp informed me that my post was removed!!!! I reported my experience in a straight forward, accurate post. I had never been to a Beck's Prime before this night. Instead, I reported being extremely sick after ingesting a blue cheese burger. It was at the Kirby Street location. Rather than censoring my post, maybe it would be more beneficial to look into your food preparation.

Very tasty burger.. I got he blue cheese burger, and my wife got the cheese burger. Nice size, very fresh and cooked to order. Pay attention to the menu as it states cooked well unless asked otherwise. Next time I'll go medium-well. Fries were good also. Would definitely stop in when back in this area.

The drive thru is an absolute nightmare. It takes 9&5783757383847473 years to get your food. You'd think the place caught on fire and there putting it out with teaspoons full of water. Jesus.

We went through drive through. There was a bit of a wait but we did order a lot of food. We got the kitchen sink, chili cheese dog, a baked potato, lemonade, Bills burger and the ribeye sammich. The meat on kitchen sink was just okay. I did like their bacon and avocado but that's about it for that dish. The chili cheese dog, the chili was a bit more earthy, and no spice. I was expecting a lil spice but nope, just more beans. It wasnt bad, but idk if I'd order it again. Both the baked potato and lemonade were just... what they were. Okay. The Bills burger was interesting. It was a lot of things and you got a bit of everything w/ the sauce, jalapeno, and meat. I like ribeye most. It was kind of juicy and it was pretty good. We did spend roughly 70-80$ here. I felt like that was a bit much for food that was just okay, at least from the things we ordered. I dont know if I'd come back honestly.

Rip off. Lotsa moolah for a plain burger with small fries and a drink. It's not fast food it's expensive fast food. My burger was tasteless and the fries were limp. I'm going to suggest they add Cialis or Viagra to the fries to make them stiff. Eating out was a treat at one time and now it's a trick. Shame on me.

I've been visiting Houston for years, and always stop at Beck's. Food has always been fantastic. But not tonight, sadly. I wanted the veggie fajitas (on their website), but the hired help had no idea that there even were veggie tacos; they insisted on adding a protein. So I added grilled chicken. Most of this plate was tasteless. Grilled onions were okay, jalapeños were okay, but everything else was just blah. I'll give 'em another chance in the future. Hopefully they can get some staff who are more interested in pleasing customers that yakking with each other.

When I think of Becks Prime it's usually about their very good hamburgers and fries. They are one of the better ones in Houston from this small local chain restaurant. Recently I decided to try something else on the menu and ordered Roberts Chicken and Veggies entree for $14.25. Speaking of the menu, it also offers $50 steak dinners from this counter service restaurant. Quite unusual! The food took almost 15 minutes before it was ready for my dinner. It had a nice sized piece of boneless grilled chicken along with plenty of veggies including tomatoes, broccoli, red onion, squash, cucumber and mushrooms all mesquite grilled too. This was a deliciously flavored meal that was also healthy and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. This location is conveniently located on Kirby and does have limited parking for dine in customers along with a drive thru for to go orders. Becks serves quality food.

I won't tip on a single glass ofctea. It's over 4.00 with tip. The mean server expects a tip

Definitely the first drive thru I've been to that serves prime steaks. It's a chain in Houston TX that you can't get it any where else in the states. The drive thru was a bit tricky. There are 2 windows to order from, I believe you can order at both windows. WHAT WE ORDERED - large fries fresh, hot sizzling fries that came out of the fryer. - side of sweet potato fries It wasn't as tasty as the fries, wasn't that sweet either. I wouldn't order it again.

Whenever I travel to Houston, I've made it my goal to stop at BP for my first meal. The burgers are cooked over a grill flame which gives them a unique taste that cannot be beat. I really appreciate the presentation and effort put into well known classics. This is a great place to refuel after a long day of traveling.

Houston has many burger joints to choose from & despite recommendations it took me some time to finally try Becks. Was quite on a Sunday evening around 8 with a table of diners. Ordered Bill's Burger with Parmesan Truffle fries to go. Make sure you are hungry cause this burger is huge with bacon, sautéed onions & jalapeños everywhere! Beef was perfectly seasoned and had some smoke to it. The fries were also excellent with the right balance of Parmesan and Truffle flavor. You'll pay a little more. That said, well worth it. Service was fast and friendly. Becks-now on my list of top burger joints in H Town!

Came here once again to give it a second chance after the owner was gracious enough to try to mitigate the issues I had with my first visit, and I have to say my experience was night and day when comparing my initial experience to the repeat experience I had. I tried the bill's burger this time around and I enjoyed it much more- flavorful, juicy, and just all around a good burger. I also decided to try the cookies and cream shake for dessert and that was one of the best shakes I've had in a while. Definitely would come back now after having a much better experience.

First time ordering the Cheeseburger with a side Truffled Fries the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The customer service was prompt at the drive through window and friendly. The overall experience was awesome, can't wait to return soon.

Don't why it says closed when I literally dinning in right now . The place received a make over I love the what they did ,however I don't care for any of the staff. You can hear everyone laughing talking and playing around whistles and clapping and singing but play singing . Just to much playing around. Way to much and having personal conversation with bro. Someone even said bitch like we are in streets the fuck word . I'm literally annoyed . I work in the area I won't be back . The stars are for the place itself only . I will say I was greeted ok and when I left I was thanked .

Hamburger GREAT. Always is. I was debating to get the fries because the last two times they were so greasy. Once again they cannot get the fries right. The only reason I gave a 3 is that they haven't fixed the issue.

Probably the most overrated, overpriced burger joint you can find in Houston. Shake shack much, much better.

I love Beck's prime and this location. It's my favorite burger in town so far. I always add avocado, order the hand cut fries and their refreshing lemonade. Their Cobb salad is also great! The new remodel looks great as well. Love this place!

Dylan my cashier, gave me the best customer service i have EVER GOTTEN, he's always so friendly and is always smiling, every time he takes my order it's always right. i only go to this location because of him. The burger is cooked to perfection, mouth water goodness, the fries are so good and i cant get enough of them. I LOVE LOVE there peach shake its soooo good and it taste like it was made with love 10/10 i loves this place.

Burgers are good but nothing spectacular. You have to ask for lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions as all they come with is sauce and the burger, and cheese if you have it on yours. Make sure to request it medium well, because their medium is medium rare in most places. Prices are insane though. And yes, I've read the owner's response about using only the finest ingredients, but it's just too expensive for what it is- there are other places using high end ingredients like pappas burger and even bludorn, which at least include fries with the burger. Over $20 for burger, fries and a Diet Coke is just crazy. Too many other great burger places in town to keep me coming back to this place or to recommend it.

I ate frequently at the Kirby location. Then it was closed for ... 9-ish months. Now it is open again, and I just drove through and got the Ribeye Steak sandwich. I haven't gone to other Beck's Primes in the meantime, and I can tell you that the steak part of the sandwich is about 40%-50% of the thickness it used to be. No chew factor. The bun is the same, but now the proportion of bread to steak is too much. Disappointing. It feels like companies are taking advantage of inflation. I need to check, but are the ounces listed for the steak sandwich. It is significantly less steak now.

Another one seems to be biting the dust, I went through the drive-through tonight to get an açai tuna sandwich, which has been a favorite for many years, especially at this location and what I got served was a seared ice cold tuna that had so many tendons running through it I ended up eating the sandwich mostly without the tuna, the person that took my order seemed like he would rather do anything else, which is definitely not the norm over the past 25+ years that I've been eating there, I would not have written this review, except that this is the third time this has happened since the relaunch of this location, when their food is on, it is some of the best that I've had but I can't pay these prices for food that I don't even want to eat, Becks prime, you need to do better, I guess I will have to drive the extra distance to go to one of their other locations because this is the only location I've had problems with, nobody will ever know how bad it hurts me to write this review, I look forward to following up this review with a good one, I hope it happens

Food is super overrated. Burger is average at best and the fries are soggy and gross. The patio is really nice since they renovated it.

Best burger in Houston and queso rivals the top texmex restaurants. Highly recommend.

I don't know why the cumulative score for Beck's is never 4 stars? It's hands down, the best drive through burger you can get! It's good if you want to sit inside and eat too, but for me, I really enjoy being able to get a quality burger on the go. It's always made just like I like it! Fast, polite service and good food. What more can you ask for?

Manager Brandon doesn't hide in his office. He is very helpful, extremely nice to me and all customers. He will teach you and inform you about all of the choices on the menu. He makes Becks Prime in Upper Kirby and a great place to bring your entire family to enjoy lunch or dinner. Thank you Brandon and Becks Prime Kirby for being my favorite place to eat out at!!!

RON SWANSON BURGER!!! These burgers would make Ron Swanson weep, turn to the burger cook, and say "Thank you, son.", then wipe away the tears from his eyes, and hug the man. These burgers are what meat is supposed to taste like. Reminds me of the backyard cookout burgers of my youth if you stuck them on a steakhouse burger bun. It's as if Prometheus stole fire, beef, and a sack of potatoes, and gifted them to the kitchen at Beck's Prime. And this is all from an ubereats order. I have to go try these mothers in the flesh! The fries tasted like real potatoes. The burgers tasted like fire, smoke, and sheer brawn! They make me want to tear off my shirt, and rub the smokey delicious meat all over my body!!! RAAAWWWRR!!! I AM A MAAAAAN, BABY!!! AND A MAN NEEEDS MEEEEEAT!!!!(don't read into this too much--I'm still talkin' about food, okay?) I'm saying that I really enjoyed my meal from this place, and I think you would too if you'd give them a shot, and stop settling for the subpar burger imposters that every town in America seems festooned with.

Hubby and I have been picking up Uber Eats from Becks Prime and let me tell you the smell will make you hungry even if you just ate. So we decided to see what it was about. There's a few Becks Prime around Houston and this was the closest. Not impressed with the parking nor the inside of the restaurant but that being said that's not what I'm here for. You order at a counter and the young lady knew her menu but lacked personality. I had the "shroom" burger and hubby had the regular burger we shared an order of Parmesan fries. When we sat at the table with the booth going around, I was about six inches higher than my hubby who sat in the chair. My feet were dangling. Lol. Food was ready to be picked up! It was big!! You have to flatten it some to get it into your mouth. First bite was magnificent, second bite yum, third bite just as good. A bit greasy, and some of the onions were from the outer part of the onion so they were over cooked and paper tasting. But all in all it's a burger that you can enjoy and feel like you got the burger you wanted. Parmesan fries disappointing. I would have loved fresh grated cheese on them.

Great burgers and steak. It's a bit pricy but overall it is high-quality junk food. Steak is not bad, you can get a better steak for the same price at other places. But, for a quick take out of a steak dinner, it is convenient.

Went on my lunch break. Always enjoy my meals here but not yesterday.. I asked for a kids meal cheese burger with fries. First 2 bites omg delicious but I get to center and raw meat. Yuck couldn't finish my burger and I was starving didn't have time to go back. And I hate complaining so I just ate my fries

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. Didn't love it. The burger gets so soggy way too fast. The burger patty itself was very juicy and tender, but it made for a messy burger. Kinda flavorless as well. The straws, while environmentally friendly, are a disaster- especially for shakes. Texans will be mad to hear it, but I'd rather just go to in-n-out for the price, taste and service.

Consistently good. We come here almost every week. The burgers & fries are very good. This is a little more expensive than other burger places, but the food quality is very high.

A horrible experience. Let alone the fact I paid $25 for a full burger, a side of fries, and a kids meal, I received no fries or drink with the kids meal; something that is supposed to be included. Guess no one there had a decent childhood. The staffer hysterically laughed as he opened the window to hand me my order for whatever reason. Regardless of whatever joke him and his buddies thought was hilarious, that is NOT something desirable as a customer and you might as well give me my actual order if you're going to laugh as you hand it to me. For the the $4 fries I ordered, they were room temperature and less than half filled. This is a joke of a dining experience and I am glad to not waste my money here ever again.

Beck's is one of my favorite spots for takeout. I'm not crazy about the diner-style interior or trying to eat outside in this weather, but I love the food and find the drive through and to go service to be efficient and solid. I usually don't even check my to go orders at this location because they are so good about remembering the dressing, condiments, etc. Not sure if it's this location only for now, but there are two new salads on the menu :) a cobb and an Asian spicy wonton salad. I tried the wonton and found it to be tasty with cucumbers, carrots, cilantro, almonds, orange segments and a sweet sesame vinaigrette. The wontons are really spicy! Thankfully, they were served on the side with my takeout order because they had quite a bite. This salad (at $9.75) was pretty substantial, but I think this one would be a better meal with the ahi tuna or chicken added. I'm looking forward to trying the cobb next time. I'm also a big fan of the Mediterranean and queen of hearts salads; they are both generous portions and a bit more filling without having to add something for $5+. They always seem fresh and have generous amounts of toppings and I love that they have a variety of vegetarian options beyond a Caesar and garden salad. The veggie burger is really tasty as well (with the fries ... yum). Also a very pleasant surprise was getting a nice, big recyclable shopping bag with my to go order! I think it's special for their 30 year anniversary. A great touch that I will be getting lots of use out of!

Great loaded baked potato! Great house salad. I always order m drum rare but the use ally overcook. Will start ordering rare so hopefully it will come out medium rare. Don't bother calling on your order because you have to wait in line unless you are willing to go into pick it up.

Kuddos to Becks Prime for being one of the few burger places that serves great food in compostable containers! We need more restaurants that value quality and conservation! Bravo Becks; Bravo!!!

I just don't think it's right for a fast food place to charge 11.37 $ for a chicken sandwich that doesn't even come with any sides or fries. It's so so expensive . It's a joke . You can get the same thing at McDonalds for 3$. I would never come back. Absolutely nothing special about it. Except for the price.

Burgers are raw. At $34 for two burgers fries and a tea, I would expect things to be cooked properly. I don't mind a little pink but this is completely raw.

A really disaster - don't waste your time - worst customer service. First they screw up the order, then take forever to give back a refund. When u mess things up after charging $37 for a chili dog, burger, fries and bottle of water Chris - very rude and a poor representation of your establishment

whats with the requests for tips in a drive thru place..they pressure you to tip...the employees dont get the tips for two weeks anyway..why pressure us?

Ways to cure a Saturday morning hangover -- or so you'd think: 8am: 2 aspirin 8:15 Gallons of H20 9am: Cold shower 11am: Pint of orange Gatorade 1pm-4: Beer, crawfish, wine 4-6pm: More beer ... none, and I mean, none of this worked, until I was halfway through my Beck's Prime Burger and *poof!* Headache? Gone. Body aches? Gone. Fatigue? Adios. This was my first time ever at Beck's, and the favorable rumors of the local chain are true. Thick but juicy patty, melty, gooey cheese, and toppings as you please. Since I was under the weather, I kept things simple: American cheese, mayo, patty and bun. Fries were okay. (I think steak cut fries would be a better treat.) Regardless, I don't mind the $10+ price tag for a hearty burger and a Diet Coke. Too bad I forgot to use my "free chocolate shake" gift coupon I picked up at the Buffalo Bayou Bash. Guess I'll have to stop by for another visit.

Pretty pricey for a burger but I don't deduct stars for that, let's be clear. The burger was pretty good but it did get soggy very quickly. The Parmesan Fries were good and so was the peach tea. I dined in with a friend but would probably just get this to go if I wanted something nicer than Whataburger. They do have more than just burgers which is pretty cool, too, but I've yet to try the non-burger menu.

I love their salads and some of their burgers and my all time favorite is the grilled chicken salad or sandwich. But, I just discovered their BLT ..... you must get! I wish I have a photo of it but just get it.

Just order the Bill's Burger, sit down and wade through it with hot wonderful fries slathered in ketchup. If you don't do this, don't come crying to me.....and don't leave off the jalapeño slices. The meat is so tender and beautifully cooked, go for juicy medium or medium rare but don't burn it up. It's everything you've ever wanted in a friend, consistent, reliable and delicious. Get the Bill's.

Best burger in Texas! Simple, delicious, and great ingredients. I used to have a favorite burger elsewhere, Becks Prime won them out.

I am addicted to the ahi tuna sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. Didn't like their burgers so tried something else. The sandwich is fabulous!
