I was just visiting the area and just happened to walk in for a late lunch. Excellent Italian restaurant without the stuffy Italian restaurant vibe. Sat down and was treated like family. Everything was amazing but be careful, you’ll get fed like your Italian mother/grandmother is feeding you and you may walk out 100lbs heavier and you’ll be grateful for it. I even “accidentally “ forgot my credit card so I had to go back and get desert 😉 Thanks for everything, Maria!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Had a great experience today and I'm so glad I found this place. We had a great time talking to the owner, especially finding out my husband is Italian descendant, and the crazy thing both mine and the owner daughters share the same names. Long day at the airport, ordered delivery from here late. Delivery guy was really friendly and made the best pizza my wife and I have had in a while. Cannot put enough stars on this review. We are only here for a few days but we maybe going back for more!

Excellent, many people may be looking for something very luxurious or expensive, maybe in the area. But this place, small and perhaps hidden from view, is great for eating a delicious Italian meal for real. 🙌🙌🙏🙏 Recommended 1000%

I came here with family & fell in love with the place. So- I brought my ladies group. We were a group of 26. Service was very difficult with such a large group. Tony Ann did the best she could. I hope she can get help serving next time. The food is phenomenal. Huge portions. The best pizza in Pompano Beach & maybe all of South Florida! Maria, Chef Ettore & the rest of the family are the most gracious hosts. They have entertainment in the evenings. Great Lunch Specials!!! Come check them out!!! You will happy you did!!!

10 out of 10! Maria is fantastic—her warmth and hospitality truly shine. If you’ve ever seen the movie Nonna’s, you’ll recognize that same cozy, welcoming atmosphere here. Her daughter Victoria and husband Joey were wonderful as well, contributing to a genuinely memorable experience. We enjoyed their delicious meatballs and chicken parm, and the portion sizes were perfect—you definitely won’t leave hungry! Maria rolled out the red carpet for us. As if we were part of the family. This was our favorite part of the vacation: coming here for the warm welcome, outstanding meal, and engaging conversation. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing lunch or dinner with excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere.

We were hunting for a new pizzeria and found this one in Pompano Beach in the middle of our monthly pub crawl. The front patio leading to the entrance consisted of "old Roman-type cement tables" suggesting a classical or vintage aesthetic, with weathered surfaces, evoking an ancient, timeless feel. The small commercial pizza oven was the centerpiece of this small family owned shop. The server threw a cheese slice onto the oven rack and I was bewildered by the small size of the slice. Based on my visible reaction, she threw another slice onto the rack and said, "Now you have two", which forced a permanent smile on my face. I excitedly watched with anticipation as both slices entered the oven as the cheese melted and the crust charred. The price per slice was very competitive and both were placed into a personal pizza box. I sat in my car and removed one slice from the box. The slice stood firmly, passing the "Flop Test" which had the perfect blend of light sauce and garlic. They also offer pumpkin pie, cheesecake and domestic bottled beers which were in the front display cooler. The decor was simple with ten bottles of red wine floating in a four tier rack on the counter. The bathroom provided an interesting setting. The contrast between the dark brown wood flooring with The Sopranos poster above the toilets gave the space a unique vibe. The combination of a sleek, modern floor and iconic TV show imagery created an unexpected, yet quirky, atmosphere. It almost felt like a mix of polished and casual - a space that's both functional and a little personal, with a touch of Italian-American flair.

The food was good here, but if you don't like a bit of politics (there's a big sign posted by the register) then take note. We came for lunch. There was only one other couple dining on pizza when we were there. And only one person cooking and serving. She was a one-person dynamo doing it all. I got one of their lunch specials. It wasn't listed on the printed menu as it varies per day but was recited. The special I chose included soup or salad and a sandwich. It was quite reasonably priced for a lot of food. To start, we were given a complimentary bruschetta with the bread separate and a plate of garlic, oil, and crushed tomatoes. It was good to munch on while waiting for our food to be prepared. My husband got a large bowl of their pasta fagioli soup (and I got a cup with my sandwich). The soup was very good with pasta, beans, tomatoes, and herbs and what tasted like bits of meat in it. My sandwich of chicken francese was very good, as well. The bread was toasted crisp. The chicken pounded thin and lightly breaded. A small cup of lemony dipping sauce came on the side. I took half of the sandwich home for later. We also were given a slice of pizza to try. It was good, but I liked my soup and sandwich better.

We stopped in for lunch today in a location that has previously housed other restaurants in the area. Paper menus are available featuring a wide variety of Italian dishes, pizza and sandwiches. Our server explained the specials for the day. I ordered a large bowl of Pasta Fagioli soup. We enjoyed a serving of bread with a delicious Olive oil, tomato and garlic dipping plate. Our service was pleasant and very helpful. My Soup was served hot and full of delicious flavors and textures. Some of the bread helped me to finish every last bit of the soup. The ambiance is pleasantly comfortable and cozy, only to have been bespoiled by Political signage at the register and entrance to the kitchen.

Bedda Mia is tucked away on Federal so until someone mentioned how great the food was here, I didn't even know it existed! I went with a women's lunch group so we were a large party of 23. We had a great server, ToniAnne, who did her best to keep up with all the individual requests of this group (including individual checks!) and keep the food and drink flowing. I wish who ever owns this place had given her some help as one server for 23 women is a near impossible task to keep everyone happy, but she was a pro and handled it all with grace so a big shout out to ToniAnne! They had several $10 lunch specials which I thought were going to be tiny when they came up, but the quantity and quality of the food you get at this place for the price you pay is really good! The sandwiches had huge pieces of chicken in them (kind of like they put the entree on a bun and called it a sandwich) and the spaghetti and meatballs did not look like a $10 luncheon portion! Even the two slices of pizza were enough for a couple of meals! I ordered off their regular menu (vast amount of selections) and got the penne with vodka sauce for $16. My order took a long time to come up (guessing it's because they only seemed to have one person in the kitchen) but once it did, it was enough food for 2 meals! Another in our group got the Palermo pizza for $21 and even though ToniAnne warned her it was HUGE, she ordered it anyway and we all laughed when it came out! As for ambiance, it's simple so don't expect fancy and I suspect could be a little crowded if it was full as we were taking up a lot of the main room and there was some bumping and jostling. But all in all, good food, huge portions and servers who care. Sounds like a winning combination to me!

Food is authentic Italian and absolutely delicious! It is our go to for pizza, too. It is perfect for an easy lunch or dinner and the prices are very affordable. Definitely a hidden gem in Pompano Beach!

I came here with family recently & fell in love with the food & the intimate service . I decided to bring my ladies group here today. It was a very large group- 26 people. We had a very long table against the wall. Our server Tony Ann had a lot of people to take care of. It's too bad she didn't have help serving. It got very overwhelming. That being said, once the food started coming out - it was extremely delicious. I understand there were some issues regarding the lunch specials. Stuff happens when you have a big group. Thank you-Maria, Chef Ettore & Tony Ann for your hospitality & your delicious food!!! I will definitely be back real soon !!! I feel this is the Absolute Best Pizza in Pompano Beach- possibly in South Florida!!! Love to try everything on the menu!!! They also have lots of events in the evenings!!! Ok so we went there party of 4 Friday nite wait service average no bar service just wine and beer no tap water just pelegrino water and they made it clear to us no tap water ok so we ordered sparkling water We shared calamari oh my god it was the most disgusted calamari I ever had in my entire life I think aldi has better seafood I ordered the chicken parm in vodka sauce very disappointed We said we wanted to try new place to eat in pompano but we keep going back to same places at least I k ow what I'm getting and how rude is it to clear table when I was finished with my dish and other people of my party where still eating never going back to that restaurant no air conditioning and it was so hot outside place is small inside can't sit outside because of heat Don't waste your time or money on that place better off going to McDonald's

Another amazing night! I'm going to miss this place when I'm gone. If you are in Pompano Beach, you need to head to Bedda Mia for the beautiful atmosphere, and the food cooked by the lovely owner, Maria, and her son-in-law chef. I love the fresh bread and tomatoes with olive oil to start my meal. Tonight was Pollo Parmigiana with spaghetti. I know it's a sin to drink white wine with red sauce but I do it; this Pinot Grigio is delicious!

I discovered this place on IG one day and decided to give it a try. The food was delicious. The chicken parmigiana, the salad, etc., etc., everything was made with fresh ingredients. My experience was phenomenal. Maria, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely coming back.

We had an incredible experience at Bedda Mia! We were looking for a last minute dinner spot and stumbled upon it. We got a fresh house salad and pizza! The pizza was crisp and delicious. We also had a gluten allergy and they easily accommodated her by offering amazing gluten free pizza crust and pasta. Family business, delicious food, and affordable prices! As you know, there is an Italian restaurant on every corner in the Pompano Beach Fort Lauderdale area - but this one is exceptional. Best pizza around and the baked ziti is to die for. Oh, and don't forget the tiramisu. The owners are amazing. The chef comes out and speaks to you. You need to go here.

The Food was better than expected, We had the Grilled Salmon Oreganada and the calamari was tender and cooked just right. Service was great for a new establishment. I am glad we passed through. We loved the outdoor patio and the live entertainment. WE WILL BE BACK.

What a great find! This tiny family owned restaurant really impressed us with incredibly friendly staff and owners, charming decor and wonderful food. Our first visit and won't be our last. The pizza was wonderful. Huge pies both thin crust and Sicilian are offered. We had the thin crust and loved the crispy light as air and tender crust. Generous with the toppings and a wonderfully light and fresh tomato sauce. We watched as other tables ordered delicious looking dishes of pasta and meat balls and can't wait to return to try other dishes.

Food has been consistently delicious, fresh & often some creative fabulous food (St Paddy's Day pizza...best I ever had!). The servings are always generous. The owners are always there & along with their staff are friendly, pleasant & competent. The restaurant is inside is cheerful & intimate. The outside space is generous. They also have some talented entertainment some evenings. Congrats to this new, reasonably priced & authentic Italian restaurant.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Every thing is delicious and worthy of a five star review but the pizza is probably in the top 3 I've had. The people there are awesome and great service. If you're scanning reviews trying to find a place like we were I'm doing you a solid by saying go here.

We just had dinner here and it was an amazing experience. The food was so fresh and tasty and portions are huge. Tony- Ann took great care ok us. The bread was hot right out of the oven with a great tomato spread. Two of us had linguini with clams and I had chicken parm! Wow. The owner/ chef came out to check on us and gave us a complimentary slice of pizza to try! As good as it gets!! We look forward to coming back soon.

Flew in from New Jersey to check Bedda Mia Ristorante out! You can definitely feel the love from the owners from the minute you walk through the door. Maria the owner truly cares about her customers as she gave the warmest greeting. Anthony the head chef is very passionate about the food he prepares. We ordered the sweet mussels, calamari, and clams casino everything was out of this world. The pizza was amazing and cooked to perfection by Joe. You can absolutely taste the difference in Bedda Mia's homemade pizza dough vs other restaurants. They had live entertainment outside which was awesome! The restaurant itself is immaculate, very clean. The servers were great! 10/10 overall and we cannot wait to return!

Wonderful food and gracious owners. So glad we stopped by. We had dinner inside and brought our drinks outside to the patio when it cooled off in the evening. The karaoke was lots of fun.

I was really looking forward to visiting Bedda Mia because I heard their pizza was delicious. I went with a group of 23 today - restaurant knew ahead of time the number of people. Their lunch specials menu clearly stated 2 slices plus 1 topping and a drink for $10.00 I asked the server if I could have one sausage slice and one cheese, she said yes. Other people also asked for a single topping. After telling us this was fine and taking our orders the server came back and announced no toppings, just cheese. Several people showed her the menu and said it comes with a topping, she said "for that price?" as if we were being ridiculous to ask for the topping. She told two of us that the woman behind the counter would cut pepperoni and give us a free pepperoni slice. I said I ordered sausage. This happened 4-5 times, I reminded her over and over again I ordered and wanted sausage, not pepperoni. Finally she arrived with our slices - pepperoni - when I said I ordered sausage she gave me a very nasty look and said take the pepperoni. She was unbelievably rude and unprofessional, refusing to give me what I ordered. It doesn't matter the slice was free, I don't like or eat pepperoni. The cheese pizza was delicious, the service was terrible but that was to be expected when you have one server with a bad attitude for 23 people.

This restaurant is absolutely a 10/10 in all aspects. My boyfriend's family is Italian so we came for dinner on Mothers Day. The food was quick to come out and piping hot. Also the portion size was huge I had plenty to take home. I ordered the stuffed rigatoni and added pepper flakes, it was probably the best sauce I've ever tasted. The service was outstanding. It's family owned and operated and you could tell that they really cared about the guest experience. I would describe the ambiance as casual and relaxed. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. If you're looking for good Italian in Pompano beach this place is a must!!

The focaccia bread appetizer was amazing as was the hot seafood one. the service was excellent and the owners come out and greet everyone. My parents are Italian immigrants and I grew up eating homemade everything. The food brought me back to my childhood. There is something on the menu for everyone. The restaurant is clean and I felt like I was in someone's home. Food made with love. We will be back.
