The 11 Best Long Island Wineries 2024

"Bedell Cellars has elements that’ll appeal to just about anyone looking to go wine tasting on Long Island. The space is massive and airy, with a clean farmhouse vibe that looks ripped from a mid-2010s copy of HGTV Magazine. They allow dogs outside, and they have an under $20 tasting flight and a fun customizable charcuterie spread. Expect more than a few rich moms or influencers having a glass of cab franc or pinot gris. Just check their website before you head out on a weekend, as they sometimes close for weddings. " - anne cruz

We had a wonderful time at Bedell Cellars Winery in North Fork! The wine was absolutely beautiful, and their charcuterie selection was just perfect. We loved the indoor-outdoor picnic area with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the vineyard views. They also have live music that changes every weekend, which adds such a fun vibe. The staff was fantastic Tiffany has always been a pleasure to work with, and Vita was also amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Employees have attitude and wouldn’t let us put tables together. Much nicer places would allow this incredibly overpriced and sizes are smaller than in images. I wish I could give 0 stars. Specifically one of your employees is a pain.

Wine Down Wednesday at Bedell Cellars was absolutely magical. Stunning sunset views, live music that set the perfect mood, delicious food truck bites, reasonably priced bottles of wine, and an atmosphere that was made for unforgettable photos and even better memories with friends.

I have been wanting to come here for years and finally made it. Did not disappoint. They were very accommodating to a family member who couldn’t make it to sit on the lawn. Wonderful tastings and we actually left with a few bottles. I’m never a fan of Chardonnay and loved theirs and took a bottle home. Wonderful staff and atmosphere.

Google
Pros: Nice location with a great view overlooking their vineyard. Huge, pretty covered patio. When the weather is good, tables are set up in the grass along the grapes so you can sit in the sun. Bonus pros: No reservations/fee required. Oysters on the deck. Cons: We ordered a couple flights, and everyone in the group of 5 agreed: None of the wines were good or enjoyable. Several tasted watered down, which tells me they aren't giving production enough time (short season wines, but still). Overall Impression: Definitely visit to grab a bottle or two and sit outdoors with a few friends while overlooking beautiful scenery. I would not take a bottle home, however.

Google
Great winery and a go too in the area. We had a fantastic afternoon there from a delicious charcuterie board to delicious wines. While we did not dabble in any of the reds what we did have was easily a 90+ and up wine.

Google
Spectacular setting for wine drinking. The porch is beautiful and the view is very nice. The wines are diverse and will not be mistaken with one another.

Google
Lovely and large winery. They had live music and lovely views. They do enforce the new law about having to buy food with your first alcohol purchase. They sell local potato chips for $2. They are being very safe with their covid precautions and they have everyone fill out a form for contact tracing.

Yelp
I noticed in the parking lot they have electric car charging stations. I thought that was really cool. The inside is really small. There is technically three floors with the bottom floor, mid level floor, and a tiny third level with a couch. They had three flights to choose from. We did the most two popular choices, the Estate Flight and the Premium Flight. The wines were pretty good. I couldn't tell you what my favorite was but I enjoyed myself. Overall, would go back.

Yelp
Bedell makes wines sustainably and has a scenic outdoor tasting space. Their tasting flight was $25/$30, and we thought their wines were good but did not find one extraordinary enough to purchase a bottle of. Also, we did not have a great tasting experience either. This was the first Long Island winery we visited and we were hoping to learn about Long Island wines during our visit but the guy pouring our wine didn't really want to talk. We each got a flight, the pre-selected one and a build your own. Instead of pouring one wine at a time, the guy rushed pouring both flights, in no order, then got confused on which was which, then directed us to carry our four glasses (without a holder) outside so by the time we got outside we really had no clue which wines were which. They also didn't give us menus so we had to pull up both the menu and tasting notes on our phones to try and guess which wine we were tasting. However the scenic view outside overlooking the vineyard was pleasant.

Yelp
Love Bedell as my 2nd go to for North Fork wines. They have killer whites. Pinot Grigios that have gotten 90 point reviews. Love all their whites. Cab Franc. Riesling's that are more and more popular. This is the best go place to pick up a few bottles of sure thing hits for summer nights and friends. Friendly cool people at the tasting bar. Last but not least just a gorgeous place with open airy outdoor tasting room overlooking there acres of beautiful vineyards.

Yelp
Made this place our second stop of the day recently after having an exceptional time at another winery. Sat under their tent which is a great place to retain heat and humidity if you're into that kind of experience. No wait staff and more shocking, no trays, so be prepared when you're grabbing a flight and cheese plate if you're with someone that you will have to walk back and forth 3 times just to start your experience there. Now in my opinion I didn't care for the wine but when you're bouncing around from place to place I don't expect to like them all. I could see other people were enjoying it and the view of the vineyard from the raised deck was very nice. Maybe some fans to move the air around on a humid day would have made the experience there a little better or at least some trays so I didn't have to walk back and forth a bunch of times ‍

Yelp
Very nice winery/vineyard with very friendly staff. Wines are really good and reasonably priced. The patio area overlooks the vineyard and is a great relaxing spot.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years. All year long every season. The wine is great. The experience is better. You can sit all day and drink, hear get music and even get something to eat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable There are special events that you shouldn't miss too. Especially the tour. This is one of the best wineries on Long Island.

Yelp
The Quick: Love this vineyard so much that we joined the club (fantastic deal by the way, highly recommend looking into). Absolutely beautiful vineyard with ample outdoor seating. The wine is fantastic and so is the atmosphere and vibe. Classy yet inviting. No stuffiness here, but also no 21 year olds puking... Somewhere in between. The Details: The Cab Franc is the real star here, but I love doing tastings to try a little bit of everything. They sell bites on premises, and often bring in local oyster farmers that will shuck you a dozen to pair with your whites. Bedell has live music on occasion, and always seem to be highlighting local artists. Check their website for more details

Yelp
First minute in the winery I asked to use the bathroom. The first thing said to me was should have thought about that before. They then started to give me directions to a big tree. They then were nasty when we moved tables together to try to accommodate the 3 babies in our group. Walked out and will not walk in again. We said we'd move it back when we were done but they were still nasty to our group. The place was empty at this time.

Yelp
music is way too loud. the music is good but you can't have a conversation. The atmosphere is nice.

Yelp
Nice spot w pretty views. The wine was pretty good for Long Island. Whites better than reds.

Yelp
Best wine on North Fork. They have two tasting rooms. Second one is Corey Creek Tap Room. Music Friday nights at Corey all winter
google avatar

Rach S.

Yelp
We came here as they were the wine of the 2013 inauguration. The wine all over the North Fork is not my favorite as I prefer the Napa wines. I liked the Sauvignon Blank here and they were offering a special on that. We had the spring tasting flight for $15. There was live music and comfortable seating on the grass looking at the vines.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite vineyards on the north fork. Very scenic and many seating options: there is a small area to sit inside, a big overhang and a bunch of picnic tables so you can sit beside the vineyard. It gets mighty crowded during the summer especially on weekends but for good reason. This is definitely the best quality wine I've had on LI and the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. The first crush white, merlot and sparkling rose were a few of my favorites.

Yelp
I have been an ongoing visitor Bedell Vineyards for many years. They are one of the very early growers of red wines on Long Island; they grow on many acres Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard originally began in 1980 and the self-taught winemaker Bedell, focused on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which at that time have become the region's dominant red grapes. Sometime in the year 2000, Michael Lynn had purchased the vineyard and expanded their acres of red wine vines. We recently visited the vineyard and we sat outside by their growing vines relaxing while enjoying a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc, which was by the way very good. The staff was providing a safe and much sanitized environment. This is one of my most visited vineyards whenever I am in the Long Island Wine region. Long Island wine does not savor similar to wine from California, Bordeaux, or Umbria or anywhere else except Long Island. The comparisons is what is missing, not Long Island wine.

Yelp
My husband and I have been members here for almost 10 years. At that time, we heavily researched vineyards to join. It has to satisfy a number of criteria: good wine, indoor and outdoor seating, good benefits and for guests as well, and that you could bring your own food. This hit the mark. We loved taking advantage of its offerings and with friends. My husband even arranged to have a milestone birthday party for me here in their upper loft area. Unfortunately a few years later, the north fork really boomed, prices went up, and they all stopped allowing outside food, which put a bit of a damper on how we enjoyed coming here. But it's all of them now, so we had to adapt. Sometimes we would come to pick up our wines and they were closed for an event. They became too popular. I think they are doing a bit better with handling events and large groups. We still want to feel like we are having a personal experience. We still feel that they are one of the better tasting wines out of the vineyard options.

Yelp
Gorgeous outdoor room with live music on a July Saturday! Absolutely beautiful. Interesting wines and nice charcuterie selections.

Yelp
Bedell is a must when visiting the Vineyards in Northfork. We love the hospitality from the stuff . The beautiful grounds and family friendly vineyard. We love all their wines from the Rosé to the red wines . Take it from the man behind the wine .... Richard Olsen Harbich who we were delighted to meet at the vineyard.

Yelp
This place might not offer the detailed education that some of the others present but the wine is Superior! The atmosphere is gorgeous and yet simple. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great wine, beautiful vineyard with lots of space to sit out and enjoy a sunny day! They were a little bit weird about giving us tap water when we asked, but they did give us some. No explanation for that, but again, the wine was great! Our group fave after trying a few was the Pinot Gris. Very nice staff!

Yelp
Our children gave us a gift certificate to Bedell Cellars for a tour, wine tasting and cheese sampling. We were not sure of the details but were not expecting such an elaborate experience we had. We made reservations for 12:00 PM on a Wednesday. When my wife I arrived we walked into the bar area, had a very nice warm welcome feeling to it with the bar on the left and to the right a staircase going to a loft where you can sit and have drinks and snacks. Jack our tour guide came out to greet us and poured us each a glass of their sparkling rose. We sipped it as Jack took us on a tour of the winery which lasted one hour. He explained the history and how the owner had started the winery and then built upon it. Also told us all about the grapes, the vines, the types of barrels and the process. Their 2009 Merlot was featured the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. He was detailed and interesting. He was a wealth knowledge and answered all our questions without hesitation. After the tour we were brought outside where there was a huge bar which is utilized during large events. We were seated at a reserved table overlooking the vineyard on a beautiful day. Jack then brought out a meat, cheese and nuts platter with Bruschetta Toasts. The platter was a very generous portion big enough for a full meal. Then the wine tasting began, We were given 6 more wines and sparkling wines to try, all white and rose because we told Jack we preferred white. Each one was served to us at long intervals so we can enjoy and savor the taste. We had the Viogner, Chardonnay, Taste White, Blanc De Blancs , Sparkle and the Taste Rose were given an explanation of each. At first we were the only ones there, then other people started coming in, however since we had the tour we were treated like VIPs. The entire event lasted over 3 hours and Jack our host was awesome, very polite, informative and accommodating. If you like to find more about wine and enjoy wine tasting I would highly recommend this tour at Bedell.

Yelp
One of my favorite wineries in the North Fork. I love their patio. Perfect view of the Vineyards and has the right amount of cover from sun on those warm days. I had the best bartender/server. Older man and super funny. He would have some thing to say about each winery I was tasting . I wish I remembered his name cu I would have mentioned him on here We happened to come on a day when they featured a lovely and awesome duet - Garrett and Tamara. They sang wonderful together along to the sweet sound of Garrett's guitar. If you happen to catch them here or one of the venues they perform at- then you will have a treat! We did not eat or snack on anything here but there are a few items for sale at the bar.

Yelp
I had a wonderful time here the other day. The inside and outside of this place was just breathtaking. The staff was very friendly. There is seating upstairs and also downstairs, as well as outside. Which they have two bars. You can come here for a wine tasting. Also come for wine by the glass or have a bottle and relax. We sat outside on the porch which was a beautiful view of their vineyard and the windmills. I recommend this place because we had an absolutely wonderful time here. The wine was great and the time we spent here was greater. They also sell crackers, cheese, jam spreads, olives and such. There is parking as well!
google avatar

Yelp
One of our favorites for personal wine tasting service and favorite wine flavors of the many we visited. Loved the Viognier 2020! Best around!
google avatar

Katelyn M.

Yelp
Lovely place. We got there early so it was still nice and quiet. Enjoyed two tastings, the Sauvignon Blanc and the Rose. Both were refreshing. They allow dogs and have a nice grassy area for children to play. The bar tender was knowledgeable and kind
google avatar

Yelp
Tasting flights are 5 for $20 No entrance fee Parking available in the front (about 25-ish spots) Visitors are free to roam the premises There is seating upstairs (where you'll be able to look down into the wine barrel room), and eating out in the patio/deck area (where you'll be overlooking the vineyard area) People here are polite, friendly, and professional, and on a nice spring/summer day wine tasting is the ideal day time activity
google avatar

Kimberly D.

Yelp
This was by far my favorite winery in the area in terms of WINE. The view of the vineyards is stunning, as well. My husband and I had a reservation for 11:15am on a week day and had the entire deck area to ourselves for a good hour before others started showing up. The young man doing our tasting was fantastic - super knowledgable and friendly. He'd pour one at our table, then leave us alone for a while to enjoy it before coming back with the next. This was definitely a leisurely experience, not a "taste everything in 10 minutes" kind of deal. We ordered a small cheese plate, which was local and delicious. The wine here was incredible and the facilities were beautiful. It would be a beautiful location for a wedding. This is definitely not the type of place to go to with a big bus of people, or a bachelorette party. It was upscale and classy :) Perfect.
google avatar

Carol G.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best wineries! Not only because the wine is good, it seems to be very open and therefore you don't get that suffocating crowd feeling. You don't need to wait to get served and it's quickly and always with a smile.
google avatar

Vikram G.

Yelp
Visit during Covid times. Socially distanced procedures in place, lot of open spaces and outdoor seating. Good wine selection. Hand sanitizer and other requirement in place. Reasons for 2 stars is due to lack of service in comparison to many other vineyards in the area. Order at counter, carry glasses of wine to your seat without a tray, multiple visits. To place more order get in line again and repeat. Limited snack selection. As for wine it was good. But one can get similar quality with above par service elsewhere in the area too.
google avatar

Greg A.

Yelp
Wide variety of wines all made on premises. Excellent quality. I enjoyed and purchased the savignon blanc, Chardonnay/viogner blend, Pinot gris and Merlot.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on a gorgeous September Wednesday and had the place all to ourselves right when it opened! Great views of the vineyard and great wine!

Yelp
After reading several Yelp reviews and with limited time to visit one or two wineries in the North Fork area on a Tuesday afternoon in August, I decided to come to Bedell Cellars for a $20 tasting. First of all, the setting is elegant, intimate, and "high-end". In other words, you may want to skip this place if you're coming in a large group (without reservations), dressed like you're going to the beach, or trying to visit during peak times (holidays/weekends). For the $20 tasting, you get to sample 5 wines (sparkling rose, viognier, blended white, merlot, and the taste red). The wines were OK, but most did not "wow" me with exceptional quality given the high prices (i.e. $35 to $75 per bottle). However, I did enjoy the 2015 viognier (which had a lovely balance and finish) and purchased 2 bottles right away. I appreciated that the server "comped" the $20 tasting fee. When I mentioned that I was also interested in buying local corn but had limited time, the server recommended a nearby roadstand (Krupski Farms) just down Route 25 - which was great. The only blemish from the tasting was that a glass of water was not provided to cleanse the palate between tastings (I had to ask for this). Also, the entrance sign for Bedell Cellars is difficult to see from the road, so you might pass it if you drive quickly on the far side of Route 25. Overall, if you seek a "high-end" winery in the North Fork, this is your place. However, be prepared for sticker shock if your idea of a good wine is "3 buck chuck" from Trader Joe's.
google avatar

Alexandria G.

Yelp
Exceptional service (Jack was the best!) and great wine. Loved that they let you pick your own flight. Visited on a Saturday at noon and had no difficulty finding an open table on the patio.
google avatar

Patrick G.

Yelp
Sipping but a disappointing visit. Third time we've been here where the folks (especially inside) seem not to want to spend much time describing the wine. (Our experience outside has been better, but this day was over 90 with unreal humidity). This at a place that's significantly more expensive than most! If I had any interest in buying some wine today... or joining their club... I passed. It's such a pretty place, but can't say I'll be back soon.
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
An exquisitely beautiful winery with delicious wines and incredible ambience. The open tasting area leads out to an expansive lawn with tables or Adirondack chairs for enjoying your wine. While you cannot bring in outside food, they do have nice snacks available. This was our first stop on a bachelorette winery tour day and it was the perfect kickoff: serene, enjoyable, all-around beautiful!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
What a beautiful winery out on Long Island. I loved the outdoor setting which provided a gorgeous view for a tasting and a couple of glasses of wine. I didn't particularly like all the wines I tried but I did like the Rose. It was refreshing and delicious. We also ordered some overpriced snacks while we enjoyed the afternoon. Overall worth the trip.
google avatar

Barbara L.

Yelp
This place is a must when visiting the North Fork! I love the decor- it is super cozy and inviting! The wine is great and this vineyard is one of the more popular ones on Long Island. They sell by the glass or by the bottle and all the bottles are all nicely priced. Some of the bottles themselves are gorgeous too. Come visit!
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
Wine - 2 stars Atmosphere - 4 stars Bedell is one of the few vineyards that allow outside food, which my girlfriends and I highly valued. There are about 7 picnic tables under some shade and about 7 more out in the open, by the vines themselves. The land is vast and beautiful. There's a convenient game of corn hole as well as a beautiful patch of lavender. The outdoor patio is also lovely, with high ceilings and hightop tables. The wine is definitely secondary to the space itself, as they were not very memorable or developed. Our favorites were the Cab Franc and Rose, though we barely finished splitting two tastings 5 ways.
google avatar

Brooke P.

Yelp
Great wines and overall experience. The guy who provided our tasting was very knowledgeable and informative. Wasn't too big or too crowded but had ample outdoor space with tables for parties up to 6 people. Would definitely come back!
google avatar

Sunita S.

Yelp
Had a fantastic tasting yesterday. The property is so pretty. My husband and I shared a tasting. The server that helped us was fantastic. She explained every wine before pouring and shared insights about how they produce each variety. They didn't rush us at all. Then after the tasting we had a glass of wine in the back porch overlooking the vineyards. We will definitely return.
google avatar

Bobbi S.

Yelp
Came here on a summer Tuesday evening for the live music, a glass of wine, some food, a view of the vineyards, and a nice sunset. The patio and lawn area were filled with families, foodies and oenophiles, all enjoying the fun vibe, the entertainment, and the great evening weather. Although they were out of my favorite chardonnay, it was suggested I try a blended, white wine that fit the bill perfectly, was on sale, and I appreciated the friendly staff and their advice. The same went for one of my sisters, who wanted a cabernet sauvignon, and again, being that they had just finished that "tap", she so liked the suggested alternative that she bought a bottle of that wine, which we all happily finished off. A food truck from Noah's in Greenport was there serving moderate priced plates. It was a perfect evening for us three sisters.

Yelp
Stopped in while out on the island for the weekend. This is a cool little vineyard with nice grounds and a big patio out back. We did a few wine flights with our group and sat outside and watched the sun go down. Really nice people working behind the bar, wine was decent and the ability to try different things was cool. Easy parking, stop by for sure

Yelp
What a beautiful place and a beautiful atmosphere. We came here on a Sunday for a bachelorette and they do such a great job tending to their guests. When you first walk in you can really take in the beauty of the decorations and the view. I love that upstairs on the first floor there is a bar, live music, and a beautiful breeze. Downstairs you can walk down into the grass, play lawn games, and there are picnic tables you can sit down by. From afar looks like there was a path but I could not be too sure. There are multiple places for great instagrammable photos. You can try a flight, single glass of wine, and order some food / appetizers to munch on. Definitely a place to come back and to sit back to enjoy the music and environment. Great tip about the place is that you can have a wedding here, not sure the price but it seems like a beautiful beautiful place to have a wedding. Our waitress was phenomenal, she provided us with great facts and knew the right time to come around with a new wine. She was especially helpful in knowing which wine one of us were looking for.
google avatar

Aliyah P.

Yelp
*To your response, Angela- Bedell Cellars will you address your employee whistling at us to stop taking pictures instead of just approaching us and telling us you were closed? Did we leave the property with the glasses? Or were we standing next to a picnic table with our glasses, finishing our wine? My friend put her drink down on that table to take her phone out when it was snatched from her. She said she was not finished and your employee refused to give it back to her. Furthermore, your employee was wearing their mask under the nose, which makes absolutely no sense. We were practicing social distancing while taking pictures and were whistled at and rushed off the property. And by the way, your statement SCREAMS "if you complied with the rules, you would have been treated better" AND "I have diverse friends therefore I'm not racist." No one ever approached the other group until after we mentioned they were still there and your employee told us "they aren't drinking, just waiting for their ride," which, as you mentioned, was not the case because they were in fact drinking wine. We were also told "worry about yourselves...that's not your issue," which is exactly the sentiment people who are marginalized in this country have dealt with all of our lives. So, if you're proposing a toast to institutionalized racism and discrimination, I politely decline I came here and for the most part enjoyed myself, until I was met with racist and bigoted practices, which singled out myself and my friends and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. My friend's wine was snatched from her as we were walking out and she was trying to finish her drink and although we asked management for assistance, they told us to get off their property after whistling at us while we were taking pictures. There was another group sitting enjoying their drinks as we were being rushed off the premises because it was past operating hours. We were notified that they were closing 10 minutes before. I felt embarrassed, humiliated, and traumatized. In the current climate, it is my personal belief that businesses should practice more tolerant and inclusive practices and after my experience today, I cannot recommend this establishment to any person of color. In the same breath, I think I may be doing them a favor as I don't believe that they desire BIPOC as customers. To make matters worse, they have deleted my comment on their Instagram account and have blocked me without reaching out to address the situation.

Peter S.

Yelp
Tasters beware. Pretty property. Wines were fine. What wasn't fine was charging me $18 for 3 thimble size tastes at the same time that I'm purchasing 2 $30 bottles based on those tastes. Unlike any of the other vineyards we visited.
google avatar

Steven B.

Yelp
We have been wine club members at Bedell for almost 10 years. The vineyard is beautiful and the back deck provides plenty of shade/coverage to enjoy the weather all times of the year. Bedell has some of the better tasting wines of NOFO, but I can't help but feel the quality has gone down in recent years. My biggest issue is Bedell caters more towards the large groups and bachelorette parties than it does its wine club members. The vineyard has pulled back a lot of amenities in their efforts to cater to larger groups. In fact, if you do join the wine club, expect the rules to change OFTEN. In the past, Bedell would have received 5 stars, they are borderline 4 right now. We'll see how this summer goes, but right now it's likely we'll cancel our long-running membership and then I'll be revising this review. We'll see what happens.
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
Beautiful! Facility = 5, Service (during COVID) = 3 This place is perfect for groups and a bit of a younger crowd. There are so many places to sit, whether it be in the shade or right under the sun, or on the covered patio overlooking the vineyard. I've been seeing this winery many times online prior to visiting, so I was kind of expecting this WOW factor. It delivered because of the environment. During COVID there was a line for the bar where the staff served you. I understand that this approach in operations fits better for the volume of guests enjoying the space. In this case, I would have liked to see tasting notes on the menu if the concern is efficiency in filtering out the queue. Especially compared to all of the prominent wineries in the area where the staff is knowledgeable and communicative with the characteristics of their wine, Bedell fell short. Again I understand that this time is difficult for all, so I would love to come back in normal operations in hopes that the service matches the facility.

Yelp
Bedell may now be one of my favorite wineries in the North Fork. They have a beautiful setup, inside and out. It was cold when I visited so I didn't get to spend much time outside but it sure looks beautiful. Inside, there is a small area downstairs for tasting and then a great lounging spot upstairs with big comfy chairs, a fireplace and another large table. I tried maybe 7 different wines here and thoroughly enjoyed all but one. The woman who ran our tasting was knowledgeable and friendly and did a great job of spacing out the tasting rounds. Lastly, Bedell has some amazing wine labels! Maybe a silly note but it makes buying the wine way more enticing!

Yelp
I was with a group of girls, celebrating my friend's engagement, and we had an appointment for a tasting -- our first destination on a three-stop wine tour. When we showed up, our table was already set up, with a gorgeous view of the vineyard, and we were seated right away Of all the places we visited, Bedell was by far my favorite. Not only because of the wonderful wines (which were also my favorite of the three places we visited), the incredible setting and the generous pours, but because of the excellent service. Liz was absolutely WONDERFUL and made a great experience even better with her knowledge, recommendations and her overall delightful demeanor and personality. We couldn't have asked for a better sherpa throughout this wine-tasting journey, and I'm forever thankful that Liz helped us kick off this important day in such a great way.

Yelp
Great winery with delicious wines and upscale atmosphere. There is a bar area indoors with three to four high top tables that can be reserved. There is a larger area upstairs but that's mainly for private groups in which reservations also need to be made. There's a large seating area outside with tons of tables and beautiful views of the vineyard. Wine is available as tastings, by the glass or the bottle. Great place to stop on your way through the wine trail
