Bedrock

The apt leases are a scam. They do not work with you in any way and just try to take your money. We had a 60 day notice to let them know we were moving out when most have been 30. Asked if they could work with us at all and they wouldn't. Charged us $1,700 just for not telling them we were leaving 60 days early even though the lease was up and we gave them more that 30 days notice. Do not rent from Bedrock.

It's been 10 days since I asked to tour units and no one will set up an appointment with me. My messages and calls have been ignored. Every other management company was able to get me in within a day, Bedrock won't respond to set up an appointment

Filthy restroom in the First National Building. I can understand a few paper towels on the ground, but this is gross. I wouldn’t have posted but this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this restroom like this, and with no one around to clean it.

Kai-Anne was very nice at the book tower. Gave us some great insight on the history of the building itself which I truly loved and even after the tour reached out to me. If you plan on touring ask for Kai-Anne!

Gina and Sadie are the absolute best people I’ve ever gotten to know. Bedrock did something right by hiring them! They’re a large part of the reason I chose to live at and continue to live at my building. They also acted promptly when I presented evidence of an issue I was having with property management and resolved the issue favorably. Bedrock is the best!

I’ve never written a post before but my experience warrants one. Probably the worst business I have been in contact with; so much so that I was completely turned away from moving to the detroit area. I am from Florida and had been attempting to make an appointment for weeks prior to flying down to visit some of the properties. I left messages and never got a return call. I finally flew down and made my way to their leasing office. My mom advised me that they don’t take walk-ins and it’s by appointment only. We nonetheless went over and the security at the entrance would not allow us to go up and talk to an agent. Fortunately, the two leasing agents were walking out at the same time and I was able to book an appointment for the next morning at 10 am. The girl took my email and said she would send me a confirmation. The next morning, I showed up to a locked leasing agency. I went to the building next door and security asked for the email confirmation (which I never received). Security said no one had been in the building yet. I waited for an hour; neither myself or the security could get a hold of the office. Horrible business conduct and customer service. I can’t believe they have these unexperienced indifferent people running their overpriced apartments

The best managed apartments in the city. I've lived in several buildings downtown under several different management companies and I can say 100% Bedrock is the best. Their high standards really show!

I’ve been waiting for an apartment for 2 years and found out my name had been taken off the list after I had paid for a background check and was approved for an apartment. I received an approval letter from the apartment and I was 5 on the list when I checked at the apartment in person last year, then Covid happened. Well that didn’t stop them from leasing the apartments and just so happened they made a new rule during Covid and sent a letter to an old address from my DL not the one the approval letter I received and which is where I lived and now I have to start over when they open up taking applications again. This is a senior building REALLY. They lied and said they didn’t have any apartments available when I know for a fact someone has moved in and didn’t apply until last year and they have empty apartments in the building. I wonder if our great Mayor knows what is going on!!
