Google
If your departure from LAX you have to try the cauliflower soup and mac n cheese at this place. Also the Yogurt parfait it's so good. My order was 122 on 16JUNE25 / 1.30PM Service was a little slow but okay the food was great.

John Powell

Google
This waiter / bartender is so kind and so accommodating I seriously gone him 6 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great airport spot to relax and enjoy a drink and some light food before you board FYI cauliflower soup is amazing Wow I got to show you this No One Knows how to Tax People Like California !!! No body

Google
Socorro was an amazing server. She made us feel welcome and engaged everyone at the bar in conversation…. We didn’t want to go to our flight… we were having too much fun! Thank you Socorro! 💖

Mercedes F

Google
Food was tasty service was ok and it was almost 6 dollars for an iced tea plus auto surcharge 20 percent added

Mark Kershek

Google
I had their signature grilled cheese with jack cheese tomato basil and their sauce. It was one of the worse sandwiches I've ever eaten. There was hardly any cheese on it. Their sauce was terrible. there were hardly any tomatoes on it. The sandwich cost $18.50. I could have gone to a vening machine and bought a tuna fish sandwich that would have been 100 times better than this sandwich at Beecher's. I recommend avoiding this place.

Ben Kraft

Google
I know I’m going to pay a premium for an airport beer but don’t add 30% in additional charges to make it look like a more normal price.

Shawn Farver

Google
Total rip off. 30% in surcharges. The 10% lax surcharge is hilarious. Food is mediocre. Half there draft beers were tapped out. Avoid at all costs. Cause it will cost if you dont

Abi Martinez

Google
i don’t normally leave bad reviews but the service shocked me. I ordered a $20 sandwich from here and I sat by these high chairs with a table connected to the bar but not near the drinks to wait for my sandwich and to eat. as im waiting a bald older man working at the bar comes over to me and asks my age (18) i tell him and very rudely he says you need to move you cant sit here. Thinking he thought I hadnt ordered from the restaurant I clearify, “I am just waiting from my sandwich I ordered from here”, again without explanation very rude he repeats “you cant sit here you need to move” and I’m thinking its because im dressed more casual and the restaurant/bar is a little nicer or for some reason he was discriminating against me because I’ve eaten at high chairs by bars before they obviously just dont serve me drinks. and so i asked him, “ where am I supposed to eat I ordered from here” and he rudely pointed to another restaurant. so i start to get up and im visibly shocked by how he was speaking so rudely out of nowhere with no clear reason. then this lady working that was standing near by comes over and very kindly explains “you cant sit at the bar because you are underaged and we could get in trouble” to that I nodded with a smile and moved. If I had been told that in the beginning the way she spoke to me, I wouldnt have been mad but this man had some entitlement to speak so rudely to a paying customer. thank you lady for explaining so kindly and so simply. old guy if you are the manager or whatever, you need to do better, i didnt pay $20 for an average sandwich and attitude.

Yelp
There's something about big, bold signage with cheese written on it that appeals to a weary American traveler in LAX. A well known brand of mac & cheese for many years I had to try it. First off, it's expensive - $12 for an 8oz side portion. Taste was ok, distinct, but very soupy. Not the best I've had and not worth $12, but it is in the airport so every place in here has hyperinflated pricing. Service was fast for carryout and it was packaged up piping hot, but don't bother trying to sit at any of the stools around their bar or their booth seat because they are only reserved for dine-in patrons and it's an extra 20% on the bill to sit there. The cashier was quick to chase us out since she saw us place a kiosk order. Not a great experience, but I'm glad I was able to try the famous Beecher's handmade cheese. I can check that one off.

Yelp
I was really disappointed with my experience here. First, the prices are already high--$27 for a double vodka is steep--but what really got me was the mandatory 20% tip. That meant I paid an extra $11 in tips for just two drinks, without any say in the matter. I have no problem tipping for good service, but if you're going to force a 20% gratuity, then at least provide service that justifies it. Instead, I got the bare minimum--no engaging bartender, no real hospitality, just someone pouring drinks and moving on. Tipping should be earned, not automatically added. I won't be back. There are plenty of places where I can get quality drinks and decide for myself how much to tip based on the service I receive.

Yelp
First time coming here and was surprised at the food quality. My husband and I ordered the smoked turkey grilled sandwich ($19) with a side salad ($4) and it was delicious. Bread was toasted perfectly and the turkey cheesy Beecher spread combo was perfect. The side salad had too much dressing so that was a bummer. It was a fresh salad but just too soggy with dressing. Service was good. Just beware of the final cost. Apparently there's already a 20% tip included on the bill and a 10% LAX service charge. So for a $23 sandwich combo meal the actual lunch bill came out to be $32! These hidden fees...yikes.

Yelp
8/3/24 Zach and I grabbed a bite to eat at Beecher's Handmade Cheese during our layover to Japan. I had high hopes since I have had Beecher's cheese before (just the cheese blocks). We sat at the bar and ordered these items: - Bloody Mary (his and what a rip off it is) - Small mac and cheese - chicken sausage, egg and cheese sandwich - side of fruit Zach and I shared the mac and cheese and the sandwich. Both of these items were fairly decent. I couldn't see where the food was coming from, but it at least tasted like the sandwich was made in house. The cheese in both the pasta and the sandwich tasted good. The mac and cheese was hot at least, but I don't think it was cooked fresh. Zach said the bloody mary was average and not worth $20. As with many airport restaurants, only come here as needed.

Yelp
I didn't realize there was a Beechers Cheese restaurant in Los Angeles. The moment I saw the sign for Beechers, it brought back memories of a trip I took to Seattle. This location is inside Airport Terminal B, not convenient unless you pass airport security, lol. https://www.laxshopdine.com/directory/beechers-handmade-cheese-2/ Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I ate half my sandwich and took the remainder to go on my flight. It was simple, yes delicious with a thick slice of their famous cheese melted in between two slices of bread, with an egg and a Sausage patty. A side order of diced fruit was included for $16. Several other dining options are available in each terminal. I like to arrive early and pick up a meal or beverage before boarding. Bookmark this place for your next trip to LAX and don't forget to tell'em that Rosemary sent ya!!

Yelp
On an early morning flight I needed a quick and easy breakfast with a cup of joe to give me a jolt of energy. Although, they encourage self service meaning you order your food on the computer and wait for your name yo be called. I decided on the breakfast sausage panini. I wasn't expecting the sausage to be grounded. The cheese was good but the panini was a little too greasy for me. The flavor was ok. It was good in a pinch.

Yelp
11/24/24, I ordered a smoked turkey and flagship sandwich. Very pricey at $19.50................

Yelp
Another wonderful trip to Beechers with Socorro before heading off for a few weeks in Germany! Got my fill on my favorite basil margarita that did not disappoint. I was so happy to see Socorro again and as always her service with her was exceptional! Until our next trip...safe travels yelpers!

Yelp
Mac and cheese is actually really really good. One of the best I've had. Prices are a little steep but that might be expected for an airport. The cashier (Raul) was super nice and was making jokes which made my experience more pleasurable. Loved it!

Yelp
We always have access to the United Lounge when we fly with United (Lifetime Gold - million miler, and in recent years as Virgin Gold we had access to their group lounge on the 6th floor - and so we usually just brush past the eating holes at LAX - but this time we were flying Virgin and despite being in Premier seating discovered that it got us no lounge access (my Gold status lapsed). I must say that the United Lounges both LHR and LAX are excellent. Virgin at LHR is outstanding but LAX is, well disappointing. So we just grabbed bites in the airport itself and, to be honest, it was much more enjoyable that the crowded second rate lounge on the 6th floor. I had the Mac and cheese and it was very good - almost as Mrs G's pride and joy. I enjoyed it very much, the time flew and it kept me going until we ate on the flight (which was better than usual! (See the Virgin Atlantic review - I have a little trick of the trade)

Yelp
Airport eating first of all I don't like being told what I should tip.... You don't know what kind of service your going to get right! The food was good not to my liking I didn't like the cheese. The server was nice and stretch he definitely needed more help.. so it did take us longer then we wanted and we chose this place because it didn't seem crowded so it would be an easy in and out.. but the takeout was crowded and didn't realize they only had one cook.

Jay T.

Yelp
Rude uneducated staff. Food is mediocre, coffee is not good either. The hype is all wrong. Most importantly these guys are slow, physically and mentally...

Dylan M.

Yelp
Gotta say this Mac n cheese... smack! Was just looking for a beer and quick bite and Beechers answered the bell! Ambiance, yes! Please don't even look at the rest of the menu and get the Mac! Thank me later.
google avatar

Asya G.

Yelp
Food was fine. Service however did not exist. The "bartender" was not engaged with any of his guests. Visibly not happy to be there and just does not belong in service industry. I gave him my card to settle the bill and he decided to serve 3 other guests before processing my payment and giving me my card back. Honestly one of the worst experiences I have had in LAX.
google avatar

Trina D.

Yelp
If you know me, you know I love me some mac & cheese. Beecher's has a location at the International terminal at LAX. My first experience with Beecher's was in Seattle and I guess they are expanding. I chose the 8 oz cup and asked for an ice water which they charge for. It's unfortunate but cheaper than a bottle of water from a different vendor. The mac & cheese is creamy and hot but the noodles can be a little over cooked. They have soup, sandwiches, and breakfast offerings too.

Yelp
It was late taking a Redeye at the airport in the international area, but traveling state side to visit my momma...best plain grilled cheese...thank you, thank you, I know they were closing in 2 minutes, so I am grateful he took my order... a salad was not going to do the trick... busy airport night, holiday weekends there is an attached bar, next time will visit here!

Dean F.

Yelp
Holy crap. Nearly 40% of taxes and mandatory fees on top of wildly overpriced food & drinks. To be expected I guess at LAX, but the service is unnecessarily rude. Poured out the remainder of my wife's wine while she was in the bathroom and then demanded we vacate the seats immediately to make room for whatever their next mark is. Everybody seemed pissed off. If you are going to charge a mandatory service charge, at least earn it with a smile and just a little bit of humanity. Never again here.
google avatar

Rhonda S.

Yelp
Great little place in LAX for a sandwich and a nice glass of wine or cocktail. I enjoyed coming here before my very long 15+ hour international flight. Ian was very helpful in making food recommendations. He also let me have a taste of two dry white wines (a pinio Grigio and a Spanish wine). I inhaled a Grilled cheese sandwich which had Monterey Jack cheese in it (MMM) and side salad. Also had a glass of the Bodega Garzon - Albariño Reserva wine which was crisp and dry. Ian said they were only open for 3 weeks so far. Check this place out!
google avatar

Martina T.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of airport food as it is overpriced and not that tasty- but this spot is the jam! Their sandwiches are delicious! They have special cheeses, grilled to crunchy perfection! I highly recommend. We ordered the smoked Turkey, grilled cheese and chocolate croissant. All were delicious. They have a couple of general table seating area in the back and bar seating that is reserved for adults only.
google avatar

Doreen T.

Yelp
The flagship sandwich has basil, tomato and it definitely needed more...cheese? For a place that is known for the cheese, it felt like something was missing. Portion was quite small for the expensive airport food price. The tomato soup did hit the spot. We had our food to-go but didn't realize around the back where we sat the seating is for full service. The waiter made sure we did order food from Beechers or else he would have kicked us out. Also, don't look down where you sit, all the "holes" in the seat cushion are full of crumbs and food from the beginning of time. Arck, so gross!
google avatar

Renee I.

Yelp
On our way out of town and stopped in for a morning Bloody Mary. Ordered the Flagship which is supposed to come with pickled veggies and their handmade cheese. Got neither. Just a plain ole Mary with olives, lemon, and lime. $17.95. Pft. Takes your chances at Border Grill instead. Oh... and they include the tip, so there is no recourse there, either.

Yelp
Just like the last place I went to that tacked on an outrageous "service charge" just for sitting down, I'm calling this place out. 20% EXTRA on top of the already outrageous bill? The food was fine. The service was fine. I'm sitting at LAX with few options. But an extra 20%? GTFO. I completely understand needing to pay your staff a living wage, so add it to the price of the food or the service up front. I've worked in food service like a lot of people have and I get that they need a descent wage but adding an extra 20% just "because I sat down" is absolute crap. I'm getting real tired of this. The service charge cost more than on of the items I ordered. And yes there is a little blue sign that got put down in front of me AFTER I after ordered and ate is not helpful, that states this policy. But hey, let me put up a sign in front of you that says, "hey you're gonna get punched in face." That'll make it ok, right? F this place.

Yelp
I love mac 'n cheese, so we decided to try their World's Best mac 'n cheese...and it was really good! It was really cheesy and they used their original Flagship, Just Jack cheeses, and penne pasta. They don't use the original mac 'n cheese macaroni pasta. I can't explain how soft, cheesy, and delicious it was. I'd definitely come back here as a stop when I'm in LAX again! Service: 5/5 Recommendation(s): - World's Best Mac 'N Cheese Tip(s): - They accept Apple Pay
google avatar

Jamina A.

Yelp
You should teach your employees food handling requirements. One guy looks stoned and keeps scratching his head and then serving people food without washing his hands Another employee has gloves on but is handling food and them handing people credit cards and payments with the same gloves They need a refresher in food service violations!! The food is delicious though!! And the drinks are a good pour
google avatar

Erik J.

Yelp
Probably the most disappointing grilled cheese sandwich Ive had. More of a grilled bread sando. Staff was friendly and I like the use of toast tab so i can pay and gtfo quickly. Par for the course at an airport.
google avatar

Brandon Z.

Yelp
Stood here for a half hour and turned out some ol' **** swooped in and stole our food without seeing if it was his and dude didn't check receipts. Spent $80 on this and nobody offered to refund any portion of this. Kids are hungry as hell and I'm still waiting!
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
This was expensive, but much better than I could have hoped for. Our server Nouri was very sweet and very accommodating. My fiancé and I each got a sandwich (smoked turkey & mamas chicken), and the overall quality seemed to be much better than the other places I've eaten at Tom Bradley (including all sit down restaurants).

Jack W.

Yelp
Bought turkey/cheese sandwich 9-21-24. Garbage! $19.16 for a turkey sandwich and was not edible. Scraps of meat and a loaf of dry bread. am angry was ripped off.
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
It's... fine. Their claim of "Worlds Best" Mac & cheese is basically the same as "Worlds Best Cup Of Coffee" from Elf. It's just a very regular cup of mac&cheese. It's not bad, but it's not special. But... it's also airport food, so... what do you expect!!?
google avatar

Beringia L.

Yelp
This review is for our server Juvenal at Beecher's, who made our meal voucher work, after all of them not working at the front cashier for some reason (she was also sweet)! Such a welcome surprise after an unfortunate situation with our flight and our airline's customer service. Juvenal was an absolute sweetheart and gentleman and was so willing to serve us with gratitude. In addition, the Mac and cheese was great, I am a Mac and cheese fanatic and with all that being said love boxed Mac and cheese, this one was like a wet Mac and cheese, almost like southern Mac in texture but with spices. It did the job. The drinks were stiff too. Juvenal was so memorable that we remember him from our rare time at PF Chang's at LAX when he worked there 4 years ago!
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
What a little gem that I would visit even while not traveling. We scoped a spot at the bar and enjoyed their version of the French 75 (lavender bitters really adds to this drink). I have heard of Beecher's Mac and cheese and finally got to enjoy it here and yes it delicious. I ordered the smaller bowl, but I should have gotten the larger size. It's tough to enjoy Mac and cheese dining out usually since so many homemade recipes are great. Beecher's surpassed expectations and are must if you love creamy Mac and cheese. The chicken and Mama Lils sandwich is also great and we think some of that glorious Mac and cheese sauce slipped inside, but that could jsut be the cheese is good here. Also. props to the salad being substantial in taste and health as it was not just iceberg. That is so important for a side salad). While airport priced, it was delicious and worth it in the sense of convenience and taste. Service was also very friendly. It makes you ironically want to be a local but you can't because it is an airport. The servers work hard constantly juggling their tasks wonderfully. I have to shout out respect.
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
The best as we wait! Ian was spectacular, he knows customer service and delivers! All good Thanks for being there!
google avatar

Jay O.

Yelp
If Nouri is serving Run ‍ Older Caucasian man about 60 yrs old He serves any one who doesn't look Latino... and ignore you as if your were non existing the whole time your sitting there. If you politely ask him for a drink he'll agree and ignore you the whole hour your eating and never apologize for not not serving you. Nouri will wait until one of the others waiters/bartenders help you. Thank God for servers like Martin that gave us exceptional service.
google avatar

Denise V.

Yelp
We had a 5 hour lay over and LUPE made it worth the wait. He was very attentive. We had the egg cheese sandwich with salad. We had a mimosa and whiskey. It eased our wait.

Jessica S.

Yelp
Juvenal was the best Bartender! He made the best basil margarita so delicious with the tajin rim!
google avatar

Aryan Y.

Yelp
WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Advertising SOUP!! But no soup? Paid for a soup, ordered it waiting for my soup, then 5 mins goes by and the lady tells me "sorry no soup" they didn't even ask me if I wanted anything else. Manager comes to refund me, she's rude and tells me I have to run my card again if I want anything. They wasted 20mins of my time... come here if you want your time and money wasted.

Jan L.

Yelp
Absoulety ridiculous. Beware these guys automatically charge you a 20% tip it's in your receipt without you knowing. Then when you go to pay they ask you to tip an additional tip of 2, 5 or 7 percent after they have charged you 20 percent tip. Shame on you!
google avatar

John E.

Yelp
I had a flight delay and found an empty seat here. The drinks were great. The menu was simple. Service was great, fast and friendly. Nice place to hang out and people watch.

Alice F.

Yelp
Awesome food! Their sandwiches are grilled to perfection. We are so happy that we tried this place! Chicken sandwich was great, grilled cheese was also amazing!! What a great find at the airport!! We'll definitely come back :)
google avatar

Mimi T.

Yelp
Juvenal was the best waiter! He was so friendly and the first thing he said was make your self at home. He was so attentive to all the guests and such a friendly and happy personality. Thank you for making our experience so nice while we were waiting for our flight! Kudos to you for keeping it so up beat in a tough service work. He was the only one manning the bar too!
google avatar

Vesna M.

Yelp
They open for breakfast at 8:17 AM? Three grumpy women barked at us when we approached at 8 AM. One said "we're not open yet" and ignored us when we asked what time they do open. Find balky, an equally grumpy woman barked they open in 5 minutes but they did t. We gave up and went to another place.

Christopher C.

Yelp
If you are looking for a premade sandwich that can pull moisture out of desert air, THIS IS THE PLACE! We purchased two "turkey" sandwiches that tasted like nothing with side of nothing. The bread had a nice appearance but once it hit your taste buds, the trouble started. Fortunately, I purchased a Pellegríno so that my entire head didn't turn into a raisin from the lack of moisture in the bread. If you have zero expectations or want to burn some excess water weight... go for it!
google avatar

Erik C.

Yelp
How do you when 3 bartenders, only 20 bar stools, and I still have to wave somebody down for a drink? Really. I get it's an airport where service goes to die. But come on already. Not to mention the other 4-6 people just hanging out and standing around doing nothing, especially filling my drink. At these prices you should pour the drinks down my throat for me.
google avatar

Its M.

Yelp
Mac and cheese was good, but the quinoa breakfast was gross. The egg was rubbery, the two leaves of arugula were wilted and gross, and it was spicy (not listed). This is basically an overpriced bowl of oily quinoa with bits of tomato (which they couldn't make without). They're a bit unorganized too. Where you line up to order is also where you wait for your food, so it's a mess. I would not return.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
If you're waiting for an international flight, there's no better spot than Beecher's! The service was outstanding and they even put some cumbia on for music (at my request). Highly recommend!

Stephanie M.

Yelp
The food is always the best, Coffee Bomb I work at LAX so their isnt a day that i dont get tired of the food here, Highly Recommended. Ana Flores and Edith Hernandez are so sweet and always have a positive attitude

Janos B.

Yelp
We were looking for some breakfast items in the terminal and found the Smoked Turkey sandwich and the Sausage breakfast sandwich at Beecher's. Both were quite sad. It's very little you get squished between two actually decent slices of bread. The Turkey sandwich tasted fine while the breakfast sandwich was quite horrible. I understand it's in the airport and prices are usually high here, but even then, the amount of food you get for $15 is not adequate at all. Will not be back.

Ari C.

Yelp
Awesome service, kind staff, good sandwich. Thanks for hooking it up. Got the chicken and mama's lil pepper sandwich and it hit the spot after leaving pf changs not wanting to eat what they brought out. Thanks!
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
dont believe the menu or the pictures of the food and drink. mac n cheese was so-so bloody mary had one olive instead picked vegetables, peppers, an cheese most of the and was half the size of the pic on yelp. sandwich was supposed to have arugala but instead had hot mixed greens. gross. takes a while to get anyone to acknowledge your presence even though they had people just standing around.
