"The iconic Seattle dairy purveyors Beecher’s Handmade Cheese opened a shop at the airport in the main terminal today, serving up pastries, breakfast sandwiches, mac & cheese, and plenty of grilled cheese options (including a kimchi melt)." - Gabe Guarente

Me and my husband visited this establishment today before our flight. We wanted a few simple things, some Mac and cheese, and grilled cheese as well as coffee. The person taking our order was very rude and incompetent. We are pretty sure her name was Kasey or Casey, she had brown hair, she seemed short and was white. After taking our order she went to do random tasks instead of helping her coworkers with the rush. It was very unprofessional and honestly lazy. With this being the only place to get food before our flights we expect better service. They should really reconsider who they hire in this establishment to ensure the best service for their costumers.

UPDATE: After posting this review, the company reached out to me and made things right. I really believe they genuinely want to do better. I would definitely give them another chance based on this latest interaction. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Stopped in for coffee before a flight. Ordered based on the menu hanging on the glass by the register. Noticed the price was different and told the cashier (later found to be the manager). At first she ignored me, then when I repeated my question about the price difference she said only the manager can take down the paper menu from the window and it's "above my pay grade." After paying anyway, while waiting for my coffee I mentioned the same to the barista, who informed me that the cashier is a manager. It is probably illegal to knowingly advertise different prices than you are charging customers. Really, really disappointing experience and I hope someone from the company sees this and addresses not only the price discrepancy, but the serious personnel problem, including management.

Google
Coffee is welcome and I think the grab and go looks good. However I have tried their hot breakfast items and I’m not impressed. The breakfast bowl was tangy with nearly all quinoa and few eggs. I tried the breakfast sandwich before and I didn’t like it. I’d recommend the coffee and grab and go items.

This was the only food option at Everett airport. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, and mac and cheese. The tomato soup was okay but tasted bland; it needed more salt and pepper. I ordered mac and cheese for my kid, not expecting it to have chili flakes. The grilled cheese sandwich was tasty, but it's best to eat it soon. If you plan to take it on a flight, it might not be enjoyable after a few hours.

Google
I love Beechers at Paine. Field. They offer tasty snacks and sandwiches but the service was poor. First, if you don’t open until 5:30, then block the line and put up a dang sign rather than ignore me, then offer a snarky “we’re not open yet” comment. Okay, so I quietly stand at the beginning of the stanchions waiting for 5 minutes to pass. Once 5:30 hits the cashier takes her place and just stares in my direction. She doesn’t say a word, just stares until I ask if she is ready. Really, it was a strange interaction. I realize it’s freaking early but geez.

Google
If I could give this a 6 star review, I would. The customer service was outstanding! You can tell the staff are very friendly people who care about their customers. They helped me with everything I needed and even threw in a few jokes. The cashier who took my order, Isaac, really made my day. Not to mention, the food was delicious!

Google
My favorite spot to get food before a flight - I always get the grilled chicken cheese sandwich. Super friendly and helpful service (s/o to Isaac and Sidekick). Will be back!

The taste of the food is overly strong. Very Sharp cheese in every dish. Very strong olives and cheese in the orzo salad. Expensive for the portion size. I waited for the last 4 flights to write a review to be sure I’d tried most of their offerings. Sorry to report, none of it taste good.

Yelp
The best airport eatery and perhaps best Beechers location in western WA. They are always so helpful here and are willing to pack up your food for the flight.

Yelp
Brent is the BEST coffee barista. He's friendly, outgoing and full of great ideas. I had the pleasure of chatting with him as I waited for my coffee. The coffee was delicious. He helped me with a school project. Thank you, Brent!

Yelp
Food was great as always, made even better by the exemplary customer service of Isaac (and sidekick), who went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Beecher's at Paine Field terminal. Located near Gate 1. No other food options - pretty much have to settle with this place. Service is fantastic. That's the best part about this place. It's debatable whether it's value for money. $13 for a Breadzel and 16oz Latte. I will leave it up to you to decide. Only positives to say about the staffs. Very friendly, kind and helpful.

Yelp
Beechers at PAE. We arrived early so we could relax and enjoy bfast. Dang, it was SO SLOW! took almost 20 minutes for one bfast sandwich, and by the time the second was ready, I was halfway done. Also, hella expensive for very mediocre food. We would have been better off with pretty much any drive thru on the way there.

Yelp
Why does a Handmade Cheese business not offer bagels? The service was excellent and the food was good.

Rita P.

Yelp
I got the Cappuccino 12 Oz and smoked turkey sandwich. The cheese was very tasty on the sandwich. Total that I paid for 20 bucks.

Yelp
Pretty much only quick food and coffee option at Paine and I am impressed! Been here several times in the last month or so and overall, the experience has been decent. I've seen a lot of negative reviews for the vita coffee stand that is connected to beechers and I can see why some people were turned off due to service of one barista. The other barista was extremely friendly however! The salad + chicken cup and tomato soup get a big thumbs up from me but I got a grilled cheese sammie the other day and the whole thing got steamed and soggy in the wrapping. I would prefer if they put it in a vented box. Overall do check it out as it's a pretty nice airport food experience!

Don G.

Yelp
Love the place. Best Steaks, Ruben and French dip sandwishs. So hooked on them that I haven't tried many other items on the menu !!!!!

Yelp
Paine Field chose the right vendor to be in the airport. When I fly out of SeaTac, I go out of my way to get Beecher's so what a great business decision to have Beecher's in Paine Field. The Mac n cheese is to die for. There's no wrong time to eat Beecher's Mac n Cheese and there's no rules at airports - you can drink whenever and eat whatever at any time! What a pleasant combo - nice airport and delicious food!

Yelp
Wow ! I flew out of Painefield this Friday and when I tell you top service, I really mean it. The people at Beechers were very friendly, understanding and helpful. I wasn't sure on what I wanted and got help from a worker there on what each sandwich is. I later got coffee and the line was long but fast . The two girls who were both making my 3 drinks sped through them at an insane pace. They were also super friendly and funny. Definitely something you wouldn't pass by.

Yelp
First off, let me say that Beechers Cheese takes me back to sitting with family, glasses of red wine and great conversations. OK. Enough. I ran across this restaurant/grill/store when my wife and I flew into Everett/Paine Field airport north of Seattle. The first thing I noticed when we got off the plane was this incredible aroma of melted cheese smothering a giant bowl of pasta! On our way back to Phoenix, I had enough time to run into the shop. Now, Beechers Cheese is available in many locations, but I wanted to check out what they had. Beechers Cheese Sticks! What a perfect snack to take on the plane!. I grabbed a few, paid and jumped back into the boarding line in less than 5 minutes. Sure. I could've gone to any supermarket and maybe saved a few bucks. But who cares! Cheese sticks on a flight?!! Next time anyone flies into or out of Seattle, make sure you grab some Beechers cheese sticks. We'll talk about the joy of flying into Everett/Paine Field in a different review! Anything to skip SEATAC!!

Yelp
Not like I had much of a choice on where to go considering how small Paine Field's terminal is and that it was literally right next to my gate. But if you only have one place to choose to be the main food option here, I can't think of a place more appropriate than Beecher's! Of course, I couldn't come here without having their famous mac and cheese (even though I know I shouldn't). After having had it so many times at Pike Place Market, I have to be in the mood for it. But it definitely hit the spot today! Also had the Chicken, Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sandwich. I must admit, it was much much better than I was expecting. I liked this more than the mac and cheese itself. Staff were great here, super friendly and accommodating. I have no complaints here. In sum, Paine Field made the right call on Beecher's. Definitely was much needed before my flight.

Yelp
The most gross and archaic airport food you can find. Tons of cheese and little healthy and non-dairy options. I expect better food diversity in any airport. Fly elsewhere!

Diana C.

Yelp
The Mac and cheese is amazing! Highly recommend! Only drawback is there are several gourmet food options and to go gifts and it would be nice to see pricing on the items... we left without a gift purchase due to no prices shown.

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
This review is for their $13 cheese and sausage egg brisket. It is by far the worst breakfast sandwich I ever had. It was a soggy mess and mostly uneatable! Don't get it.

David B.

Yelp
A very above average grilled cheese here! It takes 5-7 minutes but it's worth the wait.. Golden brown crust with a lovely tasting perfectly melted cheese You can order at the bar as well as at their shop

Der L.

Yelp
Waited 15 mins for 2 Bfast sandwiches. Ordered before the line got busy and we got ours last. Very slow service.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
Beechers cheese is a Seattle staple. With their curds and "flagship" cheese, I've grown up savouring it. Boarding a flight, I noticed that Beecher's had a store in the Paine Field Airport - eager to get my hands on some of that squeaky cheese. I asked the girl working what her favourite Mac and Cheese option was, she said the Mariachi. The Mariachi had corn, anaheim roasted chiles, and various veggies. It was okay. The cheese shone but the veggies were a little lacklustre, soggy, and colourless. I probably wouldn't eat here again and would just hit the Pike Place location. However, this place is SUPER cute and has lots of gourmet treats and pastries so who knows. Maybe it was a bad day for the Mac.

Haneen O.

Yelp
This was at gate one at the airport and I needed some foods before my 3 hour flight. I ordered their grilled cheese and flagship tomato soup. I'd never had Beecher's so it was a new experience. The soup came with cheese and croutons (so many!) Both were tasty, obviously on the expensive side being in an airport but they were filling.

Yelp
Convenient only if you are traveling. If your intention is to trek to Paine Field solely for Beecher's, you will need to pay $2 for 0-30 minute parking. Then you'll need to order via Cafe Vita, where the employee will bring you your order from Beecher's. I waited 30 minutes for my grilled cheese sandwich, so I would suggest calling Cafe Vita ahead! A couple ordered food well after I did and received their order first. The barista was lost in conversion and forgot I was still waiting there. Mind you, I did leave briefly to the bathroom, but came back to the table to wait. Furthermore, my parking ended up increasing to $5! Booooooooo! As for my grilled cheese sandwich itself, 5 stars.

Yelp
NOTE: This is a coffee review. I bought the drip. I drink Starbucks "blonde" on a regular basis and by comparison this brew is super weak. It tastes like flavored hot water. There were no "coffee stirs" available so I tried to use one of those ridiculous paper straws - which basically melted into a spaghetti noodle. On the positive side - it was served piping hot and an assortment of sugar, sugar substitutes and half and half were available it desired.

Stranjay L.

Yelp
Amazing coffee, food, snakcs... Peaceful and amazing environment. Price is just right for what is being served... Everyone is very nice and helpful!

Andreas T.

Yelp
I love me some Beechers Mac and Cheese. I don't care which gate I leave from at SeaTac I have to get me some Beechers. And now I can get some for lunch at Paine field from Caffe Vita outside security.

Arti N.

Yelp
Sure beats airplane food! I got a 3 cheese snack pack and a bretzel for my dinnertime flight down to PHX. No more having your heart set on an item and then finding out they're sold out of it by the time they get to your row. Staff was lovely and the eye appeal of how they display all the items is spot on. Lots of local foodie items if you need to pick up that last last minute gift for someone before you fly out.

Yelp
I have eaten at the bar at Paine Field in Everett, WA a few times. They get their food from the Beecher's Handmade Cheese cafe also in airport waiting area. They are the only cafe, and they act like it. I have ordered 3 items over the last month: the kimchi melt, the french onion soup and the mariachi mac & cheese. They were all just bad. The kimchi melt contained tiny trace amounts of both kimchi and cheese. The french onion soup arrived with a tiny amount of shredded cheese on top and the soup which wasn't hot enough to melt it. The mariachi mac & cheese was super runny, probably from the lack of cheese. For a shop purportedly famous for its handmade cheese they are super stingy with it in the food offerings. It is like they are a franchise who has to pay up for the cheese, so they dilute it to boost profits. Just a theory, but consistent with the facts. Also they are the only cafe so maybe they figure you don't have any other options. Think the phone or cable company. I am bringing my own food from now on. I am done with their shoddy product.

Yelp
Closes early. Staff is very rude. Web site says they are open till 9:30. They were closed at 7:10. This is the only place to get food in Everett Airport and their misleading advertising caused me to miss dinner. When I tried to ask one of the four staff members for information they all ignored me (speaking loudly but politely less than 10 feet from them). The young lady who works at the airport bar told me they are supposed to prepare cold sandwiches for sale at the bar but had not done it that night.

Mary U.

Yelp
The only reason they get two stars is because Beecher's is amazing cheese and their setup at the airport is cute. The operation here sucks! The people - both coffee and food - are rude!! Having worked retail, I have counter people some slack, but this was deliberate rudeness! I was ignored at both registers, finally asked at Beecher's to wait to ring up an 8-ounce, $4 bottle of water - wait while she replaced 3 pans of food on the steam table. Then she could hardly pay attention. The coffee people were chatting away when I entered the area, continued talking as I stood there, and were still talking when I left!! The food is ok if you like cheese. If you want dairy free or vegan, you are SOL. And it is VERY cheesy!

Pat M.

Yelp
Crazy ridiculous high prices for their food. Pack food with you to avoid paying the equivalent of college tuition.
