Beehive (Restaurant-Bar-Lounge)

I am very surprised that this place only has 4.3 stars! I’m from California and my friends and I were VERY IMPRESSED! The vibe, decor, service, drinks, and food were all on point! Extremely reasonable with the prices! We were there for a few hours just hanging out, drinking, and ordering food every so often. Steak bites were amazing, the calamari was PERFECT, the sushi was good (not my favorite), and 2 other items (can’t remember the names but are pictured) were to die for!! It was an absolute pleasure being able to try this place out while on a short vaycay! 10/10 would recommend

Cute place great for day date or girls brunch. Brunch was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive. Had to have their cotton candy drink special because who doesn't love cotton candy?! Decor is very classy.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. I went for Saturday brunch and simply wanted something walking distance, lowkey, and relatively quiet. I went in about 11:30 a.m., but I imagine it’s much busier during the later hours of brunch service. I will definitely return.

Real nice, beautiful, and chill atmosphere for either a date night or party. We had my nieces Sweet 16 here and we enjoyed ourselves. Great and different food and customer service was really great. All smiles!

My best friend has been here a time or two but this was my first time. We missed the happy hour but was were pleasantly surprised at pricing. The tofu was nice but lacked flavor, maybe deep battering it or adding salt and pepper would have helped improve taste. Ordered two shrimp tempura rolls and they were pretty good. The honeybee mule was decent for a vodka based drink. My only note is the annoyance of how many gnats were flying around the table and food, to the point to where one landed in my water.

From the moment we were seated, the service was awful. Our waitress (Lilia G) was extremely rude, had a terrible attitude, and rushed us the entire time as if we were an inconvenience. There was zero hospitality not even a simple “happy birthday,” even though we were clearly celebrating. The food was just as disappointing. Some of the dishes were bland and poorly seasoned, which is unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to offer quality dining. On top of that, the drink I ordered was not good at all, and when I asked to replace it, I was given a hard time instead of understanding or professionalism. That alone ruined the experience even more. Between the rude service, lack of basic courtesy, mediocre food, and unnecessary attitude over a drink replacement, this place completely missed the mark. Dallas has WAY too many great restaurants for anyone to waste their time or money here. I will not be returning and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was a little hesitant about coming here. Nothing against the place personally, but it just didn’t seem like “my” type of place. Although, my cowboy hat and boots were not the typical patrons visiting here, I still really enjoyed it! The service was wonderful, the food was great (especially the lamp chops) and my wife and I had a great dinner!

the pork chop and mashed potatoes were amazing!! i didn’t catch her name but our server was so attentive and sweet. the bee cool was sweet but also decently strong (in a good way)
