The Citi Open Tennis Tournament Adds Food Stalls From David Chang and Tom Colicchio | Eater DC

"Next to the upscale wine garden, a more relaxed beer garden run by Heineken offers foosball, cornhole, and table tennis, with two bars serving beer, wine, and hard seltzer." - Evan Caplan

I came for a quick pint. The place has an awesome beer garden ambiance and is instinctively relaxing. 4 stars because Beer price is on the higher side given the serving size.

We dropped in for the grand opening block party. We ordered pizzas, wings, pretzel, beers. Everything was great. Nate at the beer trailer is awesome and is a great host! As well as the rest of the team.

Food and atmosphere was good. Service is terrible, terrible. I had a large party that i wanted to reach out about but no response from F&B manager after multiple calls, emails and voicemails over weeks before event. Horrible service and would not recommend for larger groups that require more coordination and advance discussion.

Good food and drink, a bit on the pricey side

Half the stuff on the menu was unavailable. Took 50 minutes to get our drinks, and even then we had to remind them. Prices were way higher than they should've been.

Great food, wonderful service, and awesome atmosphere. Great place to hang out on a hot day and grab a drink with friends. Highly recommended.

Exceptional food (smoked fish dip and pepperoni pizza) and service by Bruno and Sergio. So welcoming and accommodating!

Frustrating Experience and No Follow-Up at Treehouse Beer Garden I’m sharing this in hopes that it prompts some accountability, because despite multiple attempts to resolve this privately, I’ve received no response. On April 12, I visited Treehouse Beer Garden with my family, expecting a fun night out. Instead, we were served undercooked chicken wings, and our bill included four drinks we never ordered, leading to an overcharge of over $50. We raised both issues on-site and were told they would be addressed. I also called that same evening and spoke to the night manager, who took down my name and contact info. But when I followed up again on April 17, I was told that “there was no way to get in touch with me.” At that point, I was given additional contact details to escalate the matter — which I did — but still, no one has responded and no refund has been issued. This was not only a poor handling of customer service, it's a food safety issue, and the refusal to correct a clear billing error has only added to the frustration. I’ve made every reasonable effort to handle this directly and privately, but after weeks of silence, it’s hard not to feel ignored. Treehouse Beer Garden may still be new, but customer safety and follow-through are non-negotiable. I’m still hoping this gets resolved, but if not, I want others to be aware of our experience.

Yelp
Outdoor kid friendly beer garden with lawn games. The landscaping & outdoor lighting really sets the relax & chill vibe. Workers are cool. We really enjoy visiting. You can order from the QR code on the table. If you order from the food truck window, they give you a table number. The food is delivered to the table. Parking is at the Treehouse hotel, currently it's free. There was a band playing on Saturday and during the week there was a speed dating event in the lawn area. Food was so good, I loved the iceberg wedge salad. There are vegetarian & vegan options, it was easy to make modifications to the chicken sandwich and pizza. Nice beer options, great there were several non-alcoholic drinks too. The QR code on the food truck opens up the menu on their website. The menu had ingredients listed for each item.

Yelp
Came here after work after passing the building a couple of times and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The overall vibes of the beer garden is soooo nice and relaxing, from the cat on duty to the board games to the overall environment it is very nice. I would come here solely for vibes. Drinks and food tho are expensive I would give it a 3/5. They don't have a happy hour menu here which was very disappointing so everything is full price. I tried the pizza and pretzel with some coworkers and it was nothing special, not something I would get to fill me up, but a good snack with beer. The strawberry sour was okay, I liked it. Honestly. If I could do half points I'd give this place a 3.5 but I'll round up because the vibes here makes up for a lot.

Yelp
Tucked right below Valley Goat, this beer garden has a super cool vibe. It's got a casual, relaxed atmosphere that works for both adults and kids. A rare combo here in the Bay Area especially. Drinks: Great selection! The tap-cocktails and beers are solid, and the servers know what they're doing. Everything we tried was well-made. Snacks: Perfect assortment for a laid-back hangout. Nothing overcomplicated--just solid options that hit the spot. Creative pizzas. Pretzels. Sausages. Ambience: The space is surrounded by plants, including herbs and spices they actually use in the restaurant nextdoor. That little detail really makes it feel alive and intentional. There's live music in the evenings, which adds a fun energy--though at times it gets a bit loud depending on where you're sitting. Seating: There's not a ton of it, so it can fill up fast. If you're coming with a group, come early or be ready to stand. Kid-Friendly: Yes! Kids are welcome, and the open layout makes it easy. They stream games throughout, which keeps things lively for all ages. Overall: Really fun spot with great drinks, good food options, and a thoughtful setup. A little loud and seating can be limited, but worth checking out--especially if you're already at Valley Goat or staying at the Treehouse hotel. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Finally stopped by to check this place out and we really had a great time. There were other families there that we were able to chat with while our kids played with their lawn games. We also loved that it was shaded on that particularly hot day. The vibes were chill and the food was delicious. Ordering was convenient because they have QR codes on the table. Their pizza was amazing and we only got cheese so the kids would enjoy it too! I also had a seltzer and my husband had a beer. Also, their parking was free even though it's located at a hotel! We will for sure be back and maybe book ourselves a staycation too!

Yelp
Stopped by after seeing a video about it. Went on a weekend when the weather was perfect! Not too hot, and not too cold. It is located in a hotel with two other restaurants on site. We only visited the beer garden. We had just ate so we weren't too hungry. We sat for awhile and tried their chicken sausage on a pretzel bun that comes with a side of chips. My only complaint is that the chips seemed stale? Otherwise, super cute area with plenty of parking. There's also some games available.

Yelp
We had an incredible time at the beer garden at Treehouse Silicon Valley! We enjoyed the first come first self serve style which made it easy for people to come and go and order food/drinks at their own pace for large group get together. No hassle with reservations. The ambiance was beautifully decorated with lots of greenery and games.

Yelp
Honestly the space is huge and looks nice, but the live music was much too loud if you want to have any kind of conversation at all. Pretty disappointing

Yelp
Fun casual outdoor spot to hang out with friends at the new Treehouse hotel in Sunnyvale. Food 3.5 Service: 3 Atmosphere 5 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: no reservations Return worthiness: yes Highlights: - Great summer vibes: reminded me of Austin with the outdoor games and live music and picnic tables - Games: large lawn pong, giant connect 4, cornhole, table ring on string, etc. - Pretzels: large legit version with great cheese sauce. 4.5 stars - Pizzas: cooked in a pizza oven with 3 interesting combos. Enjoyed the pesto one. You can also get plain cheese. 4 stars - Wings: cooked well and bbq rub had a bit of a kick. 4 stars Midlights: - Bratwurst: wasn't a great version with not much flavor. 3 stars - No reservations even for special events so first come first served for seating Lowlights: - Actual menu you scan doesn't match the one on the website - They were out of many things on the scanned menu: hard seltzers, ciders, wines, teriyaki sauce for wings... - Truck you order from has a window up so high and close to the can so hard to relay your order or hear. Also just 1 person manning it all so can be a wait. - We had presents in gift bags that were alcohol they told us couldn't be there -- they weren't to drink, but gifts friend brought to take home. We had a great time there and they hopefully will work out few kinks and have more in stock for our next visit.

Yelp
Chill relaxing ambiance. Great selection of beers, ciders, and seltzers. Full bar. Would come back anytime.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot with outdoor seating, games, and heat lamps. Tons of great beers on tap plus some bites like pizza, dogs, pretzels, etc. You can access their menu here - https://places.singleplatform.com/beer-garden-13/menu?menu_id=6262108&token=1txxQb:qwptIPa5IN5xwtGoZVNo9y3M3h0#menu_6262821

Yelp
Wow - def my new go-to spot for when I am in town for work (which is a weekly occurrence - guilty traveling techy here). They have life music on some nights and great wood fired pizzas. Beer selection is good and you'll find something you love for sure. Super friendly team working the guy in the beer trailer is awesome and great guide. Overall amazing spot unsure why more people don't know about it yet! Def a hidden gem in Sunnyvale

Yelp
Went to their beer garden for an night out. Terrible experience but great live music! You order drinks and food from this tiny truck that moves slowly because there's only one register. Drinks and food are overpriced. Beer glasses are small for what you pay for. Waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. This wood-fired pizza arrived cold and we asked to get it re-fired which the server politely said yes. The pizza was the biggest disappointment. I will not come back.

Yelp
Beer garden has unfilled potential as it is a gorgeous venue however there is not enough seating to fit everyones needs. There is some plants around that they should remove for more seats or put tables around for it. They had a live band which was neat and they leave a little bit before the place closes. Afterwards, they just had music in the background, which was kind of weird music. They had a pretty huge tap that was pretty good with die cello and some barebottle beers. They listed a price of a humble sea beer can for 10 bucks but I was charged $16 instead. It would be nice if they updated the correct price on their website so I can make an informed decision. Beers on draft were about nine to $11 so it is on the price your side. I saw people get pizzas and they were basically personal size pizzas for over 20 bucks which is diabolical. May consider going back for a beer sometime, but it is out of the way and not much seating

Yelp
Great selection of craft beers, outstanding chill ambiance, and a tasty menu selection. I haven't found anything else in the area that offers this outdoor beer garden vibe. I love Alvarado Street beers and this place has a nice selection on tap, something not commonly found. Service is friendly and prompt.

Yelp
Went here last week. Very fun vibes and has great potential. They need to get their pizza oven and kitchen locked in. This can't be the same chef as the Valley Goat kitchen? Beer was great and so was the sausage. Pizza was completely undercooked. Very doughy, almost raw :( We raised this issue to the single employee working at the beer trailer and he gave us one beer for free, which was nice. I will be back to see if any improvements have been made in the coming months. They did just open approx 3 weeks ago, so I will give time for growing pains.

Yelp
I absolutely love the beer garden. Great food, great service and the atmosphere was incredible. I definitely would give the beer garden 6 stars if I could.
