After living in Atlanta for more than 25 years and visiting countless pubs, bars, and restaurants, Beer Girl in Hapeville truly stands out as one of the highlights. A friend visiting from out of town had seen a great review online and wanted to check it out, so after dinner we decided to walk over—and we’re so glad we did. The moment we stepped through the door, the space felt warm, friendly, and inviting. It has a family-oriented atmosphere that makes you instantly feel part of the community. The beer selection was impressive—34 different options on tap—and they also offered unique wines by the glass or bottle from around the world. They even sell growlers to take home your favorites. Adding to the charm, there was local holiday art for sale, giving the space a creative, neighborhood feel. The owner, Alexia, could not have been more welcoming or personable, taking the time to chat and make sure everyone felt at home. Beer Girl is the perfect spot for a friendly get-together or an easygoing social hangout. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great local experience in Hapeville. Thank you, Beer Girl!

Good spot! Quality beer deals, good selection, and friendly owner(s). I’ve been here a few times and always enjoy it. Popcorn is $3, but once got it for free. I’ll be back soon enough for more draft pours from Beer Girl.

I just moved to the area and have a beer tasting party I am attending where everyone brings something interesting and out of the ordinary. The Beer Girl was a perfect find. SO MANY CHOICES! They also have beers on tap so you can sip while you shop as well as a decent wine selection. Alexia was super nice and helpful and a few of the locals hanging out were friendly as well. This will be my go to spot for sure 😁

Excellent selections of both drafts and bottles. Friendly owner and customers. Very laid back atmosphere which was perfect for a lazy Sunday spring afternoon. Will definitely come back for more! If you bring your own growlers, make sure you know they do 2 litres (67 oz) and 750 mL (25 oz).

Quirky fun shop with 42 beers on tap. Also carry wine and beer in cans/bottles for purchase. Menu was easy to peruse through with great descriptions of each beer on tap. I was disappointed that they don't offer flights so I could explore more of their options. They did alow me to sample two of my top choices before purchasing. I enjoyed a nice glass of "Joy Land" on tap, a cream ale, perfect for a sunny day. The shop was welcoming, with ample seating nooks, plants, magazines and puzzles. Great for a solo adventure, or time with friends.

This is a great local spot for craft beer and rare finds. The shop owner is cool and knowledgeable about both beers and brands. It's a quant spot but you could certainly entertain a small group. There's also a cool selection of wine. The choices all felt thoughtful.

If you are a beer fan you have to come here. The owners are simply fantastic and more than happy to spend time talking with you and helping you select what you want. This isn't your Bud Light store, but if you are a craft beer lover this is your stop. Their tap wall always has at least 30 beers flowing, plus some wine and a cider or two. Not to mention their wine selections We recently had a few guys meet up here after work for a few beers and we had a great time plus we all took beer home for the weekend. There are food options nearby and Taco Pete's actually lets you order online and they bring it right to your ta le at Beer Girl. Stop and check them out.

Great selection and really good pricing on all everything! Tons of beer on tap and really unique choices for purchases line the walls. There is a secret patio area in the back and tons of seating inside with plants scattered about to give this place a laid back home vibe. They do close EARLY! So watch the hours.

Love this place. Nice spot to unwind on a Friday night. Had a friend in town who likes beer and wine so we came in after dinner at Thai Heaven. I purchased the blood orange cider beer and two wine bottles. My college friend purchased two bottles of beer from the tap. Love how you can taste them before purchasing a glass or a bottle to go. Love the concept of being able to bottle it as well. They have 3 sizes to bottle the beer/wine from the tap. You can hang and drink your glass inside or outside. Wonderful atmosphere and helpful staff. Definitely coming back.

My boyfriend I just happened upon this little spot and we had a great time socializing with locals. On the perfect weather day I can honestly say it's a spot you can sit back, relax, and let go. It was date night... spot hopping. Sangria and pineapple slushees. After ordering them the regulars said we should have mixed them. Next time for sure! After I try a house made beer. Looking forward to coming back. Sorry, we drank the slushees and then realized we forgot the pictures:)

I met the Beer Girl. She's pretty cool. And her store is pretty cool, too. On one wall is a curated selection of beers, meads, and ciders. You'll see a few favorites on that wall with a good array of other things you're going to want to try. My friends know I'm not that much into beer, which is why I was very glad to see such a nice spread of meads and ciders on the shelves. On the opposite wall appears to be a hand-picked selection of wines. Not just the standard array of cabs and chards. There is something here for any discriminating oenophile. There are lots of things to try, and most of them are quite affordable. The third wall is home to at least twenty taps through which you can choose a wide variety of beers along with a couple of ciders, sodas, and maybe even a mead. The fourth wall? Just don't break it. There are a scattering of tall and regular tables around the shop. You could easily stop off for a drink here before heading to the airport. (Take Lyft, of course.) Or you could grab a quick gift for your friends or stop off for a fast pour of something if you're going to be dining in Hapeville. This is a great place to kick back for a moment. I'll certainly be looking forward to my next visit. Holler if you're coming with.

I'm a wine lover so I'm rating the wine selection. A nice bottle of wine makes a great gift. So it's refreshing to have this store in our neighborhood. The staff are always friendly and willing to help with my selections. The prices are reasonable & fit a range of budgets from savvy shopper to wine elite. She always gives me a complimentary bow to put on top of the bottle when I purchase a gift. I'm on their list-serv & they offer an array of events. Several parking options (street & a parking lot). Welcome to Hapeville, Beer Girl!

Ok. Here's the good stuff. Great beer and wine selection and ample places inside and outside to enjoy your beverage. They sell different sized growlers and hand made accessories too! Here's the bad stuff. I don't know what bug crawled into the deepest pits of this guy's soul but; dude is rude! If you ever want to be critiqued on your grammar and vocal inflections, be talked to as though you should be an expert in all things alcohol, and only get a smile when you hand over your money.....this is the place to go. I mean think about it. I would hope to happily engage with my consumer base and educate them on my products and services if I owned this type of establishment! Maybe he just had an "off day" but get a grip man! You catch more bees with honey than vinegar!

Eirk and Alexa are amazing owners and are very knowledgeable. They have a great selection of beers and wines and the atmosphere of the shop can't be beat. They have a wide variety of beer on tap for growlers and a great choice of bottled beer and wine. They also have wine available to go in a growler as well. Super patient when it comes to tasting and selecting your beer. The space is perfect and your welcome to come by and sit down for a beer. They have been a great contributor to the community and frequent local events. Sorry if I sound biased, but as a Craft Beer lover this place is a find. It's wonderful to be able to find such a great selection without having to slug it though Atlanta traffic to some far off place. Pro Tip: They have a porch in back that's perfect for sipping some beer and relaxing with friends.

My friends and I decided to go and see what the pace is about. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The taller man with the beard is awesome. Sadly I didn't get his name. It'd be better if the place had more seating but all in all there's a great atmosphere. Will definitely be a regular.

What an extraordinary place! Super friendly barkeep and an enormous amount of beers to taste. Amazing variety of canned and bottled beer as well. This is a must check out if you are anywhere near the Atlanta Airport and you love beer. Cool neighborhood to stoll around with an open container.

Havnt visited yet! But love the idea and her story. I rode by the other day on my way to airport. I'm not close but I WILL definitely get a couple of my Beer Girls together for an evening or afternoon out! Can't wait!

This is a cool local place to get some good craft brews with friends. A lot of locals come here to have a beer and chat. Its located near some good restaurants in Hapeville so it makes for a good stop after or before grabbing some grub!

Just what the Tri-Cities area of East Point, Hapeville, and College Park needed: a Growler shop stocked with amazing beer and cider on tap, as well as bottled beer and a fine selection of wines. I am a dark-beer and lager fan, whilst my partner prefers ales. Both of us always find something extremely tasty for each of us. The growler bottles are beautiful and the sound of liquid pouring forth into my awaiting glass is rather like the music of waves splashing on a sunny beach. But my waves are dark and fragrant, and my "beach" is a tall pilsner glass! They have great and unique wines anywhere from about $10 to $25 and not your usual grocery store fare. Expand your palette with their selection of wines and for a change you can pick up one of about a half-dozen port wines. The shop is an open floor design, light and airy, made of hardwood and brick. Step up to the bar at the back of the shop to taste test before you fill your growler. Highly recommend!

Visited in Dec 2018 Was staying at hotel in the north area of the airport for a work function, so took an uber over here. Great bottle shop with 30ish taps as well. Happened to visit during an arts fest of sorts, so there was a ton of stuff in the area on display. Had a couple of beers while browsing the shop and then had tables/chairs to hang out for a bit. Small space so can get packed easily, but that's a good sign. Very friendly staff, and I will be back next time in the area for work. Def check it out if you are a beer fan

I want to like this place, but the customer service was too bad to warrant more than two stars. Out of fairness I gave it three stars because of what they have to offer and the potential this place has. I came in and talked to a very nice tall gentleman who was extremely helpful. No one was in the establishment at the time. We let him know that we were going to have lunch then would return to purchase. About an hour and a half later that's exactly what we did. Upon entering it felt like a different atmosphere,. It was crowded by now. The atmosphere was still pleasant, and they seemed accommodating, but only for the regulars. They do have a nice selection of beers and wine. I purchased a six pack and a bottle of wine, but was left to carry the load without any type of bag or box... not even an offer. After requesting one I was told, "You don't need a bag to walk around with alcohol in Hapeville". I wanted to say excuse me but that's not the point. When you make a purchase especially a six pack of beer and a bottle of wine I would at least like to have something to carry it in to the car. Mind you that parking is limited and only on the sides of the street. None the less they could not find a bag so I left. I won't return in the future. Too bad this is the type of customer service you get in such an upcoming area.

Big fan of this place- with over 20 different taps and a few hundred beers on the wall (wine as well/on tap- nitro) the selection is superb. New routine for traveling: uber there, then to the airport- you won't be disappointed. Different tables there- high top, medium and low to fit your seating preference. Outside patio. Easy parking outside and around. Excellent food at the bistro at the corner. Relaxed, kinder hipsterish, and a jewel in Hapeville.

This place is pretty cool! I found myself with a couple hours to burn after arriving at the Atlanta airport and Yelp led me to this store, about a ten minute uber ride from the airport. I wanted to try some local beers and this place didn't disappoint! It was empty when we got there, but the owner behind the bar was friendly and pointed us in the right direction of what to try. We ordered some Atlanta brews, dropped our luggage off at a table and walked around looking at all the beers they had for sale. A couple hours later and a couple beers later, we ended up with a couple 4 packs! All in all, a great place to check out right by the airport if you have a couple hours to burn.

Beer Girl is a perfect example of "build it and they will come" - and of delivering what a community wants. Many of us who live on the southside (College Park, Hapeville, East Point, etc) have longed for sophisticated and well-curated bohemian enclaves like Beer Girl... and this business fits that niche perfectly. Beer Girl is home to a wide range of insanely good beers (ranging from the local to far-flung) and wines. The bottle & can selection alone would make the place a standout on the southside; but on top of that, Beer Girl is the first growler purveyor in the area. With more than a dozen rotating beers on tap (plus a wine or two on tap, and even specialty root beer for the kids), you can always find something palate-pleasing that feels a bit adventurous and is affordable. They also now serve pints on-site, which makes beer shopping even more fun. Craft beer making in Atlanta has never been stronger than right now - and will only grow, especially if the archaic distribution laws can finally be changed. Beer Girl is right on top of that trend. We love this place and visit often - definitely check it out.

I love this place. An awesome beer and wine selection, and Alexia has even ordered wine that they did not have in stock. Both Alexia and Erik are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and have great recommendations for me based on my tastes whenever I come. A must for any beer or wine lover in the tri-cities area.

This cool shop is the whole package-- airy layout, great selection (with tons of local/GA choices) and knowledgeable staff. I'm so thrilled to have a place like this near "out of town" work... Especially as I basically live in the East Point/Hapeville area for over 10 nights a month. And, I must note, this area is improving and businesses such as BeerGirl (and nearby Volare, Drip and Cafe at the Corner) are just what they need to encourage more positive growth. They sell beer and wine on tap, as well as beer in the bottle. The prices are reasonable and the selection vast. And I LOVE their store growlers-- So cute! They're so distinctive, as soon as the sweetie saw a picture of it, he requested I bring one home... Never mind the fact that we already have a closetful already! No such thing as too many, I suppose ;-) Also, they offer a 5% discount on draft refills when put in their growlers. Such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood-- looking forward to many more visits!

Awesome craft beer & bottleshop in the heart of Hapeville. My husband & I stumbled upon this place and had to stop and check it out. Nice layout and display of beers ranging from local GA breweries to interesting crafts from across the country. The owners Erik & Alexia are really nice! Samples are available on tap to try & if you like it, fill up your growler at a great price. There is also a wine selection to shop from. Our first purchase was a tasty Farmhouse Ale called Boulevard. "Beer Girl" is a great addition to the Hapeville/East Point/College Park area. Highly Recommend!

Second time here. Really loved it just as much as the first time. Great selection and very nice staff. Always some sort of festival or event happening in the area and very friendly people!

Today at Beer Girl, Growlers & Bottleshop, I was denied the purchase of a six-pack of Creature Comforts Tropicalia. Not because I was too young, not because of insufficient funds, not even because I was so intoxicated that the clerk was not legally allowed to sell me the highly sought after beverage. So what is the reasoning behind this behavior? It was merely that I had not spent enough money in his store for him to reserve one the cases he CURRENTLY had in his inventory... As a lifelong resident of the City of Hapeville, Georgia, I am ashamed such business practices are even tolerated with such great local business examples just a few blocks away such as: Chick-fil-A (A customer service empire), Buttersweet Bakery, Chapman Drug Company, Hairberdasher...etc. I get better customer service at the Citgo gas station up the road. Furthermore, the poor business choices of the management relying on loyalty of a minute customer base to keep the store afloat as opposed to entertaining the concept of new clientele hardly seems profitable in scope of longevity for the store. I have only come across stores selling the same product on a first-come first-serve basis. * Hop City (Both Atlanta Locations) * Urban Tree Cidery * My Friends Growler shop * Ale Yeah! * Even select restaurants throughout Georgia I strongly urge you to explore these other options, if any of the above outlets have a highly sought after product. They will not resort to such self-indulgent malpractices. Please perform due diligence and stop this kind of behavior in the craft beer industry, more importantly in our beloved town of Hapeville, Georgia. Word of mouth is the most valuable form of marketing, one that consumers trust above all others and the one that is most likely to drive sales for your company. My question to Beer Girl, Growlers & Bottleshop regarding this subject, "Would you instead choose to ignore it or leave it to chance?"

Great shop in Hapeville. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, and more in the bottle. As a non-drinker, I appreciate the fact that they have 2 sodas on tap also. They also have wine on tap and by the bottle. I got a bottle of wine for use in cooking a fancy dish, and I have had a couple delicious sodas. It is a great addition to the Tri-Cities.

A wonderful place and addition to Hapeville! I used to have to drive into Atlanta or over to Camp Creek Pkwy to get a decent bottle of wine- but now I can just go to Beer Girl in Hapeville! The wine selection is not huge- but it's good- with a nice range of prices and varieties beyond just your basic chardonnays and cabs- they have some really nice drier roses and even carry Sauternes which I LOVE! I'm not much of a beer drinker but I LOVE that they carry mead here which I enjoy drinking around the holidays. The owners are super friendly and personable and full of great advice on restaurants in the area. I love Beer Girl!

This place is the best. Their selection is fantastic and the service is phenomenal. It is a bit of a hike for me to get here compared to more local growler and bottle shops but it is 100% worth the trip. I love that they let you sample and they sell pints and they keep the inventory refreshed with new and unique brews. Great place for any beer or wine drinker.
