If you are looking to experience traditional thai food and nothing fancy, Beer Hima is the place to go. We were a group of 12 friends who love food. This place served our soul. Mostly seafood we tried almost everything on the menu. My favourite was the crab yellow curry and pomfret fry. It is a place where families and friends dine. Good beer, good food and good Mango sticky rice pudding.

We’re always coming here for food and icy beer. We love stir-Fried prawns and stink beans with shrimp paste, spicy beef soup, mussels with holy basil. Service is good too.

I've been coming to this place for over ten years and I always enjoy the food. The taste and quality are consistently good. While they serve excellent seafood dishes, I really love their Southern Thai food. The prices are also reasonable.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys spicy Southern Thai cuisine.

Pretty good, however quite expensive. The crab and shrimp were very good and everything arrived at a reasonable time however not fast. It was a reasonable dining experience and the food was not bad.

My southern friends have consensus that this eatery is one of the best southern eatery in Bangkok, so if you seek authenticity, this is your choice.
My recommendation is focusing on southern curries and dishes, not seafood, which are fine, but you just don't have to be here for relatively bland seafood comparing to other southern dishes.
Hot, spicy and herbal stir-fry dishes are worth trying. Yellow curry should not be missed. Fish kidney curry (Gaang Tai Pla) here is a must and prepare for extreme taste like no other southern eateries in Bangkok.
Lastly, the battered-fried small shrimps is simply an awesome snack to alleviate the heat from other dishes.

Great place for Southern Style Cuisine and fresh seafood in Bangkok. Great ambience, Wide selections of Thai dishes and seafood, tasty Thai dishes and definitely cold cold beer. Highly recommended for a visit if you have a chance while you are visiting Bangkok or passing by. You will not forget the deliciousness’s of this restaurant.
