"Despite its quirky name and simple interior, Beer Hima offers so much more. The family’s seafood recipes from Nakhon Si Thammarat province are loaded with flavour. The southern Thai sour curry with grouper is packed with turmeric and chilli and delivers the perfect harmony of sour and spicy, while the rich, aromatic shrimp paste in the stir-fried prawns with bitter beans awakens the senses. There’s ample parking and a private room large enough for 30 guests." - Michelin Inspector

Thailand best of the Southern Thailand food far away from the south while in the Bangkok. This restaurant operates over 30 years (before I was born to this planet 🌎). . Not famous only for the southern food but their seafood with very high quality also provides. . In additionally, their staffs very helpful.

Some dishes with price on menu seem about right. Taste overall ok, a bit tasty too salty alright but doesn’t feel very hygiene. If you decide to order some fresh dish like crab, calm and shrimp, please do check the price before ordering. My not even half kg clam cost me 600 while a small crab less than one third kg cost 1100. The place doesn’t smell clean and i m not really comfortable with this type of crowd. Those people who drink whiskey and beer with dinner. It may not suit my taste, maybe it's just me. Unlikely to be back.

This is a Michelin rated restaurant in Thailand (if you are into such accolades). The food had lasting impressions, especially if you can tolerate spicy food. If you actually can tolerate spicy food you are in for a indulgent treat. Enjoy your dishes with chamomile tea. Very packed restaurant and the parking lot servicemen provide car covers for your parked vehicles (to keep your vehicle cool) while you enjoy some indulgent food experiences.

This Michelin Guide restaurant has been recommended for many years. Despite its popularity, I find it overrated and overpriced. The Grilled Scallops with butter were particularly disappointing. Priced at 400 baht, the scallops were of low quality and soaked in margarine instead of butter, making them taste boiled rather than grilled. The Fermented Fish Entrails Soup (Kang Tai Pla) was one-dimensional, just spicy and salty, unlike better versions I've had elsewhere. On a positive note, the Kang Som had a good balance of flavors, and their frozen beer is quite popular.

The best Thai seafood restaurant we had visited. Especially the curry crabs. Best so far in Thailand!

Good local Michelin restaurant with ice chilled mug and beer. Best enjoy in hot & humid weather. Thai cuisine pair well with beer served by friendly hostess.

The glass noodles with river prawns and Tom Yum soup were just divine! If you're looking for authentic Thai food, this can be one of your options. Their beer served in icey mug is probably one of the more unique experience here.
