If you are looking for craft beer and a fun night out, you would be hard pressed to find a better place in Durham than Beer Tooth Taproom. It is obvious the owners care about the quality of their beer and keep their lines clean, as well as make sure their taproom is as welcoming a place as can be. As a bartender and beer purchaser, Christa is probably one of the most diligent and honest people I have ever met in how she thinks about beer and how she selects her offerings. Her palate is extremely discerning and she selects amazing quality beer, many which are local from around the region. Her pricing is exceedingly competitive and is a great value. Even the stock of beer and seltzers in the fridge is quality, with attention paid to the quality of Non-Alcoholic brews and beverages she has on hand as well. With that level of attention to detail, you can expect that your experience will meet your expectation. Beer Tooth has many event nights as well, with a run club on Mondays, Craft club on Tuesdays, A Beer School on every first Wednesday, Trivia Thursdays, and many weekend events, so it feels like there is always something to look forward to, while still maintaining a comfortable and casual atmosphere. Plus it’s pet friendly for friendly pets, which is pretty great. All in all, having been a consistent patron of this establishment for over a year, I cannot recommend Beer Tooth Taproom enough. There is a lot of fantastic craft brew options in south Durham, but if you haven’t tried this one yet, do yourself a favor. It truly is a hidden gem. You won’t regret it.

If you’re in the area and you like beer, you must go here. The knowledge of the beer-making process seems to be the core of Beer Tooth (which is pretty important for a good brew). I’ve learned so much and appreciated the process more than I thought I would. Friendly staff, chill vibe, and you’ll almost always meet a cute puppy.

Great staff and great tap selection. Be sure to also check out their fridge for some off-the-wall stuff. I sometimes drop in to "work-from-home" here with their wifi. Quieter than Bean Trader's and I won't tell your boss if you don't tell mine :D

I’ve always said “oh I’m not a beer person!” Beer Tooth proved that was a lie! I just wasn’t drinking a beer I liked! I have learned so much from the owners on the different styles of beers and the unique characteristics and flavors they bring. The selections rotate, however the owners will always do their best to keep costumer favorites on tap! They love feedback! The atmosphere and people bring a family vibe even if it’s the first time meeting. You won’t meet a stranger at Beer Tooth! They also support local charities and organizations that give back to the community! Go support the locally woman owned business and enjoy the beer!

This is a nice out-of-the way little bar. Very nice inside (although occasionally there's a strong "bar" smell) and it has a few outside seating tables. Mostly nice bartenders. It loses a star b/c it serves beer in what I think are 14oz glasses. C'mon guys let's get some real pints :)

Remarkably knowledgeable and passionate owners and staff - all of which have cicerone certifications. They maintain a carefully crafted tap list to meet the tastes of any customer. Your palette will be met with beers of your liking at Beer Tooth

Stopped in spur of moment and really enjoyed the visit! The Beer Tooth staff were all super friendly and gave great recommendations. We definitely really enjoyed the beer selection and highly recommend come in for a relaxed and fun atmosphere! The location is pet friendly and they do have 2 tvs if you want to enjoy a little sports. Talked with one of the owners and she's really awesome and really made us feel appreciated as patrons! Great spot for meeting up for Drinks after Shiki Sushi... New up and coming spot!

Great little tap room, wonderful place to spend a lazy weekend!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit Beer Tooth! I had a strawberry sour that was awesome! They have a game area in the back with tons of fun board games, card games, and video games. They even had Operation - which brought back childhood memories of anxiety playing the game haha!

This taproom was a fun time but it was busy because they had a dog rescue event. They had a good mix of beer on tap so we grabbed a round and sat outside. I hope to check out more of the inside during my next visit. Cheers!

Fantastic taproom with a large selection of local beers on tap and a cooler with some additional options. The staff is extremely friendly here and accommodated our 20+ person party. There's outdoor seating with heaters and indoor seating. There's also a fun game area with a couple bar games and board games. They have trivia nights with rotating local brewery sponsors. Our group had a great time here!

Friendly staff! Very chill spot to grab a drink. A wide selection of beers on tap. Highly recommend checking this spot out.
