Dave Made Our Day at Beignet Café – 14th Union Square Stand! I stopped by the Beignet Café stand at 14th Union Square, and let me just say. DAVE is a one-man show and an absolute MVP! He was running the stand solo and still managed to keep everything flowing with a smile, great energy, and the kind of customer service you don’t forget. The beignets were perfection just like home they were warm, airy, and covered in just the right amount of powdered sugar. My coworkers couldn’t stop talking about how delicious they were (and we’re already planning our next “coffee break” just as an excuse to go back). Several of them said it was the best treat they’ve had in the city in a long time. You can tell Dave takes pride in what he does. His friendliness, efficiency, and genuine care for each customer made the experience even sweeter. If you’re near Union Square, do yourself a favor and stop by Beignet Café’s stand—you might just meet Dave, and trust me, he’ll make your day one powdered sugar smile at a time.

Stopped by the stand in union square for the chicory coffee and some beignets. First off the service was awesome super friendly and fast. The beignets were delicious. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The coffee was good (although it wasn’t hot 🥲). I will definitely be back.

Yelp
I have been to Union Square three times over the past few months looking for the Beignet Cafe truck and it was finally there Easter weekend. Wooo-hooo. I immediately ran over to the truck. Thank goodness I got there because they were about to close in a few minutes. The truck was bright and clean and the owner was extremely gracious and friendly. The beignets were warm and delicious. They tasted just like those in New Orleans. I was not disappointed. 10's across the board !!!! Til we eat again...

Yelp
Yesterday in Union Square, I saw the Beignet Cafe truck and looked at the menu. Chicory coffee and beignets. Dave and Alex run the show. I ordered the beignets which were expensive at $8 for only four. They came piping hot, dusted with powdered sugar and tasted delicious. A few customers were there ordering. This truck is there on Wednesdays, Fridays and the Saturdays from 9 to 5 pm. This is located near the Gandhi statue on the Westside of the park.

Yelp
I visited beignet cafe on a weekend morning because I heard that they are from cafe du monde in new orleans. The stand was centrally located in union square and very easy to spot with the green umbrella. They have a small menu and there was no line when I went. There is one person working the cashier and one person making the beignets. The service was friendly and quick. The beignets were light and fluffy. I thought they were tasty, but expensive for $8.

Yelp
best beignets around and the service even better. The chicory coffee is also stand out, a much desired change from my standard cup of joe.

Yelp
I love New York. Beignet Cafe is New York with a taste of New Orleans. The beignets are so fluffy and scrumptious fresh from the fryer. Also, with a bite of beignet and sip of coffee, yum! Brought back all the memories of clarinets playing in New Orleans and great food.
