The Best Doughnut Shops in Detroit | Eater Detroit
"This on-the-move beignet truck serves New Orleans-style fritters and “cronets,” its take on the cronut. Topped with powdered sugar and drizzled with everything from chocolate to raspberry sauce, they’re a sure ticket to doughnut bliss. Beignets 2 Go is a staple of Eastern Market, and you can usually find it near Shed 5 on the weekends." - Danny Palumbo
I love grabbing these every Saturday during my Easter Market flower run. Always hot, yummy, and extra powdery.
Reminds me of New Orleans♥️.

Very similar to Cafe du Monde The beignets were great but not worth it for $8. The portions were pretty small.

New Orleans style beignets in Detroit!
Had them from their food truck at Eastern Market in Detroit.
Staff weren't really friendly but not a big deal.
The beignets were soft with a nice crispy crunch to the outside. Perfectly cooked. They give a generous amount of powdered sugar but they only sprinkle on top as opposed to rolling them. This is the traditional way but I prefer them completely coated while they are still hot so it sticks.
Still really good. Highly recommend if you see them in Detroit.

An unexpected (and delicious!) New Orleans style surprise! We found the Beignets2Go food truck while visiting the Eastern Market. Absolutely loved our chicory coffee and beignacons (Beignets sprinkled with chopped bacon!) Wishing you guys best of luck 👍💕☕🍩🥓😋

The cafe au lait was almost all milk. I barely tasted the coffee and chicory.

Makes me feel like I’m back in New Orleans... Delicious, warm, and dangerously sugary—just like a beignet should be. I search it out every time I’m at the Eastern Market. Love it!

Beignets 2 Go is one of the highlights of the DCFC matches for us! Always made fresh to order, they are wonderful “loaded” with raspberry and chocolate sauce for an added layer of decadence!

It’s a Saturday morning tradition to walk my dog or go for a jog, and then stop by for some INSANELY GOOD beignets.
