Google
Best Chinese food around. Egg rolls are probably the best I've ever had and the pricing for their dinners is very reasonable compared to others in the area. Absolute must try for Chinese food

Google
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was plain red sauce, no carrots, pepper or pineapple. The fried rice tasted like fish. The eggrolls had a very earthy, almost moldy, very strange flavor. The chicken was so greasy, I squeezed oil out of it. I ate about 3 pieces and threw the rest away at home. Server was nice, crab rangoon was ok. I would not return, or recommend this restaurant.

Google
I gave this place a shot for 2 reasons: 1) they made the effort to stick a carryout menu in the front door of my house; and 2) Rainbow's phone was an endless busy signal. After trying the food (lo mein, egg foo young, general tso's chicken, and Szechuan Shrimp), I'm very happy I tried this place. I think it just might be the best tasting Chinese takeout I've had in the area. I'll definitely be going back and I encourage anyone reading this to give it a try.

Wife and I came late at night for an impromptu carry out, the owner (I assume) greeted us and was friendly. We ordered sesame chicken, coconut shrimp, and teriyaki chicken. 2 dishes came with rice. The amount of food was enough to feed four hungry adults. The sesame chicken was not what I expected and was just OK, it’s presented as a “chicken breaded ball”, I’m used to it having some crispy texture, but at least it wasn’t overly sweet. The teriyaki chicken was good (it’s even better when it’s eaten as leftovers!!! Probably because it marinades overnight) and tastes like proper bbq grilled teriyaki chicken on a skewer. The coconut shrimp was good as well, it is very creamy, but not too sweet, it may not be for some people’s palates, but it was great for us. Looking forward to coming here again!!!

Google
This is our go to place to satiate our Chinese food cravings. Great flavors and food is cooked fresh. We have liked everything we tried here, Mongolian beef (picture shown below), honey walnut shrimp (picture shown below), Singapore noodles, Singapore fried rice to name a few. Portions are generous and worth the price. Order usually takes about 15-20 mins for the order to be ready but they can be busy.

Google
Absolutely love this place. This was the first Chinese food restaurant on the westside ever tried, and have patronized the company every since. The orders are correct, fresh, and hot every time, whether by phone or walk-in order. As a non-animal product eater, there are plenty of choices for both plant-base and vegan eaters. The option to substitute meat with tofu or eeg rolls with spring rolls is available. Read the menu, inquire, and create your meal 😋. Always friendly, even during the busiest service hours. My one year anniversary with Beijing Garden is next month! Keep up the great work 👍🏾 👌 👏

Google
Had the sesame chicken lunch special. The fried rice and egg roll were bland. The chicken was OK, but the texture was off. For $11, I would not recommend it.

Melissa B.

Google
Beijing Garden has some of the best tofu dishes around! The tofu broccoli is fresh and flavorful, and the sesame tofu is perfectly crispy and delicious. Great plant based options and consistently tasty food—highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This small, quiet, and clean restaurant provides friendly service and delicious food. Unfortunately accommodation for sesame food allergy is not possible as sesame is in the sauces. Menu may have changed so please check website menu and/or call ahead. Would recommend if you do not have any food allergies.

Yelp
Eggplant with garlic sauce was sooo flavorful and delicious! We also got the mongolian beef and it was good but a bit salty. The portions are really large and we had a lot leftover when we went home! Service was quick and it seemed like they had a lot of take out orders.
google avatar

Yelp
While not the most affordable Asian food, the quality of the food at Beijing Garden lives up to its menu price. Buy this I do not mean that it's high price, I mean that you will feel the food was worth the price you paid. The one dish that I think they excel at is their pad Thai an order of it can easily feed 2 to 3 people.
google avatar

Cynthia P.

Yelp
Takeout service was good. Chicken tasted like it was marinaded in MSG. Couldn't eat it.

Grace C.

Yelp
Fresh vegetables, shrimp is cooked just right. My go to place during the pandemic and present. I have never dined in the restaurant. Love the food!!! Walnut shrimp, hot and sour soup, scallops, shrimp, so yummy. I wish I could eat there every day but I would get too fat!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
So nice! I went in ordered and came back and the owner brought my food to the car! My grand daughter enjoyed her food and said it was great!

Yelp
I was there for the first time last week.. The Vegetables Fríe Rice was excellent.. But I also order Sweet and Sour Chicken combo with brown rice .. The chicken was a little pink in the middle and the brown rice was uncooked. The service was friendly and fast . Can't comment on the ambiance, there was only the owners eating at a table.

Ashmarhea J.

Yelp
ORDER ELSEWHERE! YOU DONT NEED THIs DISAPPOINTMENT IN YOUR LIFE! I did my due diligence in reading the top reviews and let me be THE FIRST TO SAY-they are false! The food LOOKS GOOD, but tastes like they are cutting corners with quality. I was excited to surprise my mom with lunch, but shocked to see her SPIT OUT THE "beef"(?) on the first initial BITE!!! The meat is unreal, like seriously, fake or processed with a hint of old and rubbery but if that's what you're into, then you're good. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, they did give extra condiments such as soy sauce and duck sauce, but I think that was to mask the fact the food is terrible and not real... They are extremely over-priced for low quality food. 27.48 for two meals during lunch time to spit it out? Just pass on this or cook.
google avatar

Karim J.

Yelp
There are far better options for Chinese food than this place. I wasn't expecting anything satisfactory especially looking at the reviews, but man was I disappointed. What they call General Tso's chicken is nothing like it (it was more like sweet and sour chicken). The flavor of the sauce they were coated in wasn't bad.....but the chicken itself was very dry and fibrous. After a few chews, the chicken had the texture of grass. Barely any broccoli and the rice was boring. Spring roll was okay, but nothing special either. This place ruined Chinese food for me for awhile lol
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Solid consist choice for getting carry-out Chinese food in the area! Good portion sizes and quality and fast service.

Yelp
Diamond in the rough. Highly recommend. Fantastic dumplings. Carry out only. Friendly service.

Yelp
Had a good experience ordering here online today , fast and affordable ! The Kung Pao chicken had celery in with baby corn , kind of different take on this dish . My husband like the Almond Boneless chicken . Staff was very friendly

Clay C.

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant a higher rating I would! I drove there today thinking it was open, and to my dismay they were closed as I was looking for another place to eat while sitting in my car a very nice lady came out of the store and offered to make food. After unpacking my food once I got home the containers were FULL! And Delicious! Definitely will be back! Highly recommend

Alan S.

Yelp
I moved to Farmington Hills a couple months ago and was looking for a new Chinese restaurant. I found this place just by driving by. I've ordered take out a couple times and the food has really been hit or miss. The first time I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo which was good. The second time I ordered the Almond Chicken. It was very good. The chicken was a battered chicken breast cut in strips. Not the battered pieces of chicken some places serve. But the thing that got me was the sauce for the chicken. I have never tasted such awful sauce. I don't know what the heck was in it but it was terrible

Ashley S.

Yelp
Im going to have to give this a thumbs down. Sesame and General Chicken was some of the worst I ever had. It was just balls of breading. It was horrible. No hard feelings, but its a no for me
google avatar

Tabitha H.

Yelp
I ordered the shrimp lo mein lunch special for $7.90 (after tax) with wonton soup instead of the egg roll. The shrimp wasn't rubbery like it sometimes is from Chinese restaurants it was actually pretty good, but the lo mein itself was a little sticky and lower on quality but it wasn't so low quality that I wouldn't go back. On top of the shrimp lo mein and the wonton soup, I also got a side of fried rice as well. Overall, I think it was very good for the price I paid, and for one person the lunch special will be probably turn into three meals for me! Lots of food, and I'll definitely order from them again.

Yelp
Searched for a restaurant that happened to be open during these trying times and came across BG. I stopped in and placed my order and was asked to come back in 15mins. Once I returned I picked up order. I had almond chicken, shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoon and couple shrimp rolls. Everything was flavored well. On par to what I've had at other places. I can't say it's my favorite but I will return. The lady at counter was pleasant and professional. The pricing seems to be about the same as other places of the same caliber.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Excellent food and service! I love everything I have ordered from here. Especially LOVE all the appetizers; cold sesame noodles are amazing, spring rolls are crisp, dumplings are so flavorful, crab rangoons are the best I have ever had! It took us a while to find this place but we are loyal now. They also have online ordering :)
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
Who doesn't love this place!!! Always so friendly. You can now order online, which is cool. Always great food. Loyal to this place.

Kevin T.

Yelp
Tasty family-owned restaurant--my go-to local carryout destination. I enjoy many items on their menu.

David R.

Yelp
This is our new favorite place for Chinese food! We're shrimp lovers and this place has great shrimp dishes from shrimp fried rice to shrimp with veggies. The egg drop soup is awesome as well. Portions are big and all ingredients are fresh. There's not one thing we found that disappointed us.

Yelp
Beijing Garden recently opened in Farmington and the garlicky smell wafting from their kitchen made me decide to give them a try while I was with family in the area. I ordered the mild Szechuan chicken and found their presentation to be very unique. The dish mainly consisted of julienned carrots, onions and celery in a Szechuan sauce with thinly sliced pieces of chicken. I have never had a Szechuan dish in this particular style, but the veggies were fresh and the meal was served piping hot and was ready for takeout in about 4-5 minutes after I placed my order. The shortcoming with the dish is that they almost followed my directions too thoroughly! The dish was not spicy enough! Next time, I will definitely not specify a mild preparation. Overall, this is basic Chinese carryout served in a clean facility with very quick service. It's nothing to go out of your way for, but if you are in the area, you will get a good meal for a standard price.

Carl L.

Yelp
Customer service was nice and friendly but the chicken is absolutely garbage, never had anything like this before, super chewy and gummy feels like im chewing gum

Nonny M.

Yelp
I only order the veggie options unlike the other reviewers. Don't see myself supporting violence toward animals. I order take out from here sometimes and the lady at the register always greets me with a smile. Sometimes their cute little girl will help out with the soda with my order..which by the way is pretty good. I'm glad they give almost 2 or 3 servings worth because I sometimes have to make more rice to go with the main dish. So I would say they need to give larger portions of rice, preferably brown. Maybe the restaurant atmosphere could be more inviting and cozy too. But overall I like the place.

Yelp
Sadly, the food here is becoming worse every time we try it. At first, we really enjoyed it but this past year, I have been trying other items because my favorite is not the same. Tonight I tried the sweet and sour chicken. When I ordered, she said it had no veggies, and no pineapple. They only have a "pineapple" sauce. Asked to add green pepper and onion with veggie fried rice and not white rice. When my husband got home with the food I was upset. First, they added a large order of veggie fried rice, not in place of the white rice and they actually added RAW onion and green peppers to my sauce?!?! WTF? Disgusting. I called and the lady who took my order originally, just giggled and said sorry! After a very long Monday at work we order take out to relax...now I am reheating leftovers because their food is disgusting. I gave it 2 stars because my husband liked his chicken and broccoli. And BTW, our bill was over $35. Not good when $20 of it went in the trash.

Arielle W.

Yelp
I was in the area so I stopped by here because I thought they had black pepper chicken (my mistake). I ordered the pepper chicken with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. This food had absolutely no flavor. I got medium spice on my chicken and I barely tasted anything, not even spice. She gave me only 2 soy sauce packets and those didn't even help. This is how flavorless this food was. The chicken is a weird kinda rubbery texture. The shrimp were big but flavorless. Despite it not being what I thought it was, it just wasn't good no matter what the dish was supposed to be. I would never go back here. I'm sure there's much better Chinese food in the area.

Sam F.

Yelp
Went here expecting fantastic Chinese food (I heard from a couple friends that this was the best in Farmington) and man was it great. The fried rice, in addition to the very friendly staff and great atmosphere, was the best I had had in years. Highly highly recommend this place.

Rami A.

Yelp
Good food, cooked well, friendly staff, ate every last bit of what i ordered. Will come back here again!

Yelp
Fast service, friendly staff and pretty good food. I will be back again.

Yelp
The first time I ate at Beijing Garden, I wasn't a huge fan. The food was OK but not great, the atmosphere was perfunctory, the whole experience was a little underwhelming. With all of the great Chinese spots in the Farmington area, I don't know that it would be my first pick for a quick lunch. What sold me on them was the party platter. Christmas Eve, I realized that I had people coming over and no food in the house. Beijing Garden was the only local place that had anything resembling catering. I placed an order at 4 PM for pickup at six-thirty for party platters of mixed beef and vegetables and General Tsao's chicken. The gent who took my order was very nice and even called back a few minutes later to check on what kind of sauce I wanted for the beef and veggies. The food was ready and hot promptly at six-thirty, came with a lot of rice and a whole bag of condiments and fortune cookies, and was very plentiful. As to the quality...it was perfectly good Americanized Chinese food. The Tsao's was flavorful, perfectly crispy, and not overly sweet or gloopy--it was only a little bit spicy, but the taste was just fine. The beef was tender, the vegetables were very fresh, and the brown sauce was tasty with a hint of ginger. Plus it came with half a dozen cartons of rice, which was a time-saver. Gourmet? Nah. Authentic? I can't imagine. But it's the perfect option for a party on short notice.

Yelp
First of all, I'd like to say that I placed my order through a company called Beyond Menu - they send the orders immediately to the actual restaurant who delivers it. I was quoted 45 minutes to delivery my order. It took 1 hour 30 minutes. Beijing Garden stated that it was because they didn't receive the order right away, however when my food was delivered it was lukewarm instead of hot, so it was obviously sitting for a while. Second, they shorted me one egg roll. I ordered two, they delivered one. Third, they overcharged me $3. I authorized a payment of $22.08 (total after tax and delivery charge) but Beijing Gardens charged me $25.08. It may be only $3, but I was still overcharged and it makes me very angry. Fourth, the food was just disgusting. I ordered my food spicy and there was no heat to it. There was also no flavor. The beef was way too chewy and I thought that I was eating leather. I will not be ordering from this place again - even without the missing egg roll and the overcharge and the time it took to delivery, the food was still the worst Chinese food I've ever had... an Americanized Chinese place in a mall has better food.
google avatar

Zoë B.

Yelp
Seriously enjoy this place and definitely recommend for americanized chinese food. They do have specialties too tho. Have ordered from them over 30 times. Love that you can use restaurant connection to deliever if youre out of their delievery range. My bf and i split the general chicken dinner (it includes a side white rice) and order a full vegetable fried rice with a pint of sweet and sour, it now comes with two drinks for under $25 with delievery ! Worth the price forsure bc we can easily feed 4 people from it..and possibly have another meal. Highly recommend for the area and the price beats out all other places. Other than next doors pizza. They also have coupons on the menus they give u with every order. Plus i always get the best realest fortunes from their cookies so who doesnt love that?! :)
google avatar

Jonathan R.

Yelp
A small Chinese place with a few Thai options. The food is mediocre, portion sizes are a bit smaller than most other places I've been to. Good tea, below average egg rolls. If you go here, go during lunch because the food is cheaper and service is better. If you decide to eat dinner here expect to wait 45 minutes or more for your food. I live nearby and I've been burned three times when I was in a hurry.

Svetlana K.

Yelp
The owner, receptionist and cooks keep this place nice and clean. Food always tastes great and fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
great food and service!!!!! will come only to this spot when im in the area

Yelp
I was craving Chinese on a Monday nite when my usual place was closed. I had a menu in my drawer so figured I'd give it a try. I was very pleased overall - and this will likely be my new go-to for takeout. The Almond Boneless chicken was plentiful and actually tasted like almond - the sauce was flavorful and not just brown gelatinous goo like at some places. The food was hot, ready fast, and the customer service was very friendly and efficient. The egg rolls aren't as good as my usual place, but overall I think it's solid, traditional Americanized Chinese food.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Ordered carry out. Was ready on time and the portion was enough for three meals. Chicken with veggies had a ton of chicken and the sauce was pretty good. Egg rolls about average and the wonton soup broth was salty as the ocean.
google avatar

Mimi L.

Yelp
We ordered take out from here for the first time today. I gave it 2 stars because it was very nice and clean inside. I can't say the food was terrible, it just did not taste like it is supposed to. Either that or every other place makes the dishes all wrong. I've never had yellow fried rice, almond chicken never tasted tangy and full of ginger, the egg rolls had no flavor at all, and the sesame chicken tasted like the kind you buy in the freezer section made to look like take out. We were starving so it served its purpose but I can promise you, I will not go back there. Like I said it's not that the food tasted bad, it just did not taste anything like almond chicken or sesame chicken. And I do not like yellow fried rice. Maybe they put their own spin on those traditional dishes, but I will stick to what I'm used to!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Best crab ragoon around! Awesome prices! Great service. Singapore mei fun is the best! Portions will feed two!
google avatar

Gretchen A.

Yelp
We are so glad we decided to try this place! I know other restaurants in this location have not survived and I really hope this one does. This is by far some of the best Chinese food we've had in the Farmington area. We've tried a number of things - my favorite being the mooshu chicken. Staff is friendly, service is fast and the food is really, really good. They are great with customized orders, which is needed because my husband is a super picky eater. The ingredients, especially the veggies, are fresh and never greasy. We typically do carry out, but they do deliver.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Bland as bland can be. This is a sad excuse for American Chinese take out. I was hungry and this killed my appetite. Almond chicken tastes like boot leg curry...yea? The general tso chicken flavorless, fried rice, well was it fried? The shrimp fried rice was beyond bland and lacked any fried texture at all...just a sad excuse for take our. I will never be back to give them money for this dog food.
google avatar

Darryl W.

Yelp
I was looking for a somewhere closer to home for Chinese takeout and discovered this place. Upon entering the restaurant I got a little worried as the place was totally empty on a Friday night barring what looked like the owners children under a blanket in one of the booths. Based on the reviews and what I saw I was preparing for the worst. What I got was not the worst but I would consider it average. I ordered the Generals chicken and the Crab Rangoon. Certainly not the best I have ever had but I will tell you one thing, you can't beat the price. 2 combination dinners, an appetizer and an extra egg roll all for under $25. It used to be that Chinese food was a haven where you could get a lot of food cheap, but now a days that certainly isn't the case. Consider this place knowing that it is middle of the road but you get a lot for your dollar.
google avatar

Abagail J.

Yelp
This is one of the best American-Chinese cuisines I have had. The customer service is awesome, and the food is always delicious! If something goes wrong with your order, they fix it. My boyfriend and I order from there anytime we get chinese, and we haven't found a place as good as this restaurant offers. I highly recommend this place, and we hope they're here to stay!!

Vickie H.

Yelp
I went to Beijing Garden for the first time tonight. Terrible food! I would never go there again. Everything had a funny taste and was a disgusting mess. The fried rice looked and tasted weird. As did the egg foo young and moo shoo pork. We couldn't eat it and threw it all away. What a waste of money!
google avatar

Saagar U.

Yelp
I just left there and i feel like throwing up. I asked for a recommendation on something vegetarian and the waitress (who didn't seem to speak English very well, but was very polite), recommended the mixed vegetable with garlic sauce, which I ordered along with an order of avocado & cucumber sushi. Given that the restaurant was empty (I originally attribute this to it being thursday and also the first days of snow, though now I know it's because the place is terrible) I expected my food to come out faster than it did; though I guess I didn't account for take out orders. After the food arrived, I first tried a piece of sushi. I liked the sushi itself, though was shocked at how bland the wasabi was. Then I tried the mixed vegetable whose garlic sauce was very flavorless. A few bites into the dish I noticed meat (after eating a small piece) in my dish and sent it back. While I was finishing the rest of my sushi, the waitress took the bill back to take 50% off a dish that I had 2 bites of and that had meat in it after I specifically mentioned that I was vegetarian. I did refuse to pay for any of that mixed vegetable and simply paid for the sushi. Would not recommend to anyone. Ps-The icing on the cake of this entire ordeal was that the fortune cookie I was given didn't have a fortune. The only redeeming part of the meal was the nice elderly gentleman waiting for his takeout, as he struck up a polite conversation with me.
google avatar

Scott W.

Yelp
The place is very basic and I guess why most order carry out. Food is good and the hot and sour soup is some of the best I have ever had and yes it come with the meal. Prices are very good and they give you a lot of food. Food comes on disposable plates but they give you real silverware. Again basic, nothing fancy but a great value. We have went there many times and will continue.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
I have been really impressed with this place. I was excited when they opened, hoping it would be good. I was tired of going all the way down to five mile & middlebelt in Livonia everytime I wanted really good chinese. We've ordered 4 or 5 times now and not been disappointed. We only dined in once (on their outside patio seating) it was nothing fancy, but the food was really good. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
While the menu is more your standard fare, the service is always fast and the food always fresh. I like it more than Empire Dynasty (just around the corner) for the most part, unless you want to dine-in.

Nisha D.

Yelp
Ordered Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice plate...the food was so Nasty. The meat taste rubbery and it looked fake. I couldn't even eat it, a waste of money. Didn't bother with calling because I'm sure they wouldn't refund. Trashed it. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one.
