I visited Bel-Aire Lounge with a friend on a Saturday at 6pm for a small birthday celebration, and the place was surprisingly near empty at the time. The lounge has a luxurious yet chill vibe, with spacious seating both indoors and outdoors, plus a great view of the pool. There's also a pool table by the entrance and a stylish circular bar that's the centerpiece of the space. The ambience was relaxed, and the chairs were surprisingly comfortable--perfect for lounging.
A downside was the seating at the short coffee tables. If you plan on grabbing some food too, it was such a pain to bend over to eat. Highly recommend requesting for an actual table unless you're just here for drinks.
Prices are definitely high, but that's what you'd expect from a place like this. For drinks, I tried The French 75 (which I loved!) and the Blue Blossom, both of which were refreshing and well-made. For food, we got the Flame Grilled Wagyu Sliders and Miso Sea Bass Lettuce Cups. The sliders were juicy and the fries were tasty, but the real star was the Sea Bass Lettuce Cups. At $32, they're not cheap, but they were absolutely delicious--worth the splurge if you're in the mood for something yummy.
However, the vibe shifted around 8pm. The lights were turned down, and the music suddenly got very loud, making it tough to have a conversation. By that point, the lounge had gotten busier, so we decided to head out.
Overall, Bel-Aire Lounge offers a nice experience worth checking out once. Just be prepared for the music to ramp up as the night goes on!
