I could’ve taken a better picture but I was STARVING. A mini bagel with fresh smoked salmon on it for 7$?!? In New York??? Honestly surprisingly affordable and it was delicious. Next time I’ll stop and try a drink too!

The place itself looks cute and the staff is friendly. The almond croissant is hard and dry, not what you want in a pastry. The “large” oat like latte I ordered came out as a small was then poured into a larger cup, with more milk added and “allegedly” another shot was added (I asked) but the cup was not full and I feel no extra kick. I have a caffeine addiction so I’ll finish it but what a waste 😒 All in all, Bal Ami gave me the worst croissant I’ve ever had in my life and a small latte in a large cup. 0/10 recommend.

We enjoyed. Not sure why some customers got mugs and we got disposable, even though we stayed in. It's a tiny place that gets crowded quickly. Muffin was mediocre. Nice atmosphere to chat with a friend. They refilled hot water on a freezing day.

Food looked good but rotten and tasteless. We bought napoleon, raspberry eclair and caramel tart. Good napoleon cake would flip in the coffin if it found out how bad the one they sell is…It was hard, when i cut it the piece fell on my pants..and it tasted like it was made with spoiled ingredients. The eclair was literally a piece of bread with some bad filling, and the tart was ok but nothing appetizing. I don’t recommend any of their food.

This Place scks! The Coffee is Bad ($7.30) for Large Mocha & When you sip it and all you taste is Milk! Gross 🤢. Your better off getting Doubled Shot espresso for $3.00 at LPQ!

Bel Ami Cafe is a hidden gem! Brena, Jessica, and Monica make every visit special. Brena greets you with a warm smile, Jessica crafts perfect espresso, and Monica is wonderful. Their teamwork and passion for great coffee shine through in every cup. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or staying to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, Bel Ami Cafe is the perfect spot. Highly recommend! -Rosario Delgado

Cute French cafe in upper east side. They make nice coffee and bakery food. If you’re passing by and want a quick noon snack/coffee, definitely worth a stop.

A wonderful cafe with cosy elevated ambiance, mellow music, nice crowd and delicious pastries. Their matcha latte was a bit sweet which I did not like, but I had forgotten to request unsweetened thinking it comes by default.
