This is a hidden gem. You are in an industrial park paradise. Delicious beers and humble people cranking out a perfect variety of food. I forgot to take pictures of my chili lime wings and my wife had the carne asada tacos. Both were great! Hazers gotta haze is a fun name and delicious beer. Other selection was Called Tropical Terpes but it seems to have a hint of cannabis. The lights on fishing poles are pretty interesting too. You should check out the BB soon!

We had a great time visiting this brewery this week after enjoying their beers for so many years! Great beer selection (obviously) and a lot of merchandise and beer to take home with you. They also have a nice selection of bar-type food to pair with the beers.. The burger was good and the chicken tinga nachos were so tasty and filling! Every one was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers & food. Our bartender helped pick out our flights so we could try a bunch of different styles of beers we like

Laid back chill hidden spot in industrial area of Vista. Not to be confused with location in old downtown Vista. Great beer selections (ever changing) great variety of really good pub foods. The southwest salad with pulled pork was incredible. Fresh crisp greens, creamy (yet light) dressing, corn, black beans and perfectly smoked pulled pork. The onion rings are seriously the best I’ve had - perfect crunch, no grease, sweet onion inside. So good. Hubby said burger was perfect too - flavorful and not greasy. Tried a Japanese rice larger (called Lucky You). Very good flavors, not bitter, complex for a lager. Refreshing, esp for this hot day. Great outside area with fire pit! and plenty of inside seating too. Service was efficient and friendly. 100% great experience.

Ralph was absolutely AMAZING. Great energy, very attentive and incredibly diligent about making sure our gluten free friend had food that was safe for them. Food was great but even if it wasn't I would come back for Ralph alone

I went here based off a Google search while in Carlsbad last. Plenty of quality breweries to choose from, but I'm glad we chose this one. Great tropical ambience, brews were fantastic, staff friendly, and the food excellent. I'll be returning the next time I'm in town. My grilled fish tacos were amazing also.

I like the BB because the staff are so friendly and accommodating. I ordered a Greek salad this time and it was good but there was probably no more than 1 tablespoon of Feta on it. My friend had the Chicken Caprese sandwich, she said it was tasty but I’ve never seen such a thin piece of chicken before. I don’t drink so I can’t comment on the beer. They don’t charge a surcharge but by the looks of the prices it could be built into the food prices. I can’t believe a soft pretzel is $16.50! Make sure you make reservations for groups or they might not accommodate you, we finally got lucky and they were able to find us an area for 30 people.

Nice find in a hidden culture de sac. Wings were awesome with beaver sauce and there were good reviews from others around the table on thier Cubano and Philly sandwiches. Beer is first rate. Loved the Southern Charm and Dank Vapor Bomb!

Best beer ever. Peanut butter stout is my favorite. But IM a fat kid inside , its not for everyone. Service is chill here more of a tap house but food is good left the family happy and full. Open seating with TVs with sports. Cool hang out spot for family and friends.

Belching Beaver Brewery Pub 980 Vista, CA I am an avid fan of PB so I once fell into the rabbit hole of finding where I can get Peanut Butter beer! I tried Belching Beaver Brewery's PB stout and it was amazing! Also, the place is huge, so even if we arrived during an event, we were still able to find seats, although it's at the back of the brewery.

Would highly recommend this brewery to anyone looking for some delicious bar food, solid drinks, and ambiance. This place is a total gem nestled in the 'biotech beach' industrial area of Carlsbad. There's ample parking in the lots and on the street. The brewery has a cool camping vibe to it (a beaver's dam) and there's a ton of seating. The food menu is quite extensive with anything ranging from burgers, salads, sandwhiches to sides. There's definitely something for everyone here. Plus, there's a bunch of TVs for sports and games but it's not so loud that you can't chat with friends. Would definitely return!

The staff were all super friendly tonight. We got our beers fast and with a smile. The music selection was chill and the vibe was nice and mellow for a Saturday night. I had a Buenos Tiempos beer which was good like always. Overall a great bar to swing by.

I'm always so surprised when I walk into Belching Beaver Pub 980 and it's packed! It's a little hidden gem and so fun and good. Great great space, with pool, tvs, high tops, fun ambiance, etc. There's outdoor seating as well. We got a few different entrees and everything came out fast and fresh. Fun merch as well! I'm not even a beer drinker but definitely come here for the food.

The food is great! The drinks and service were outstanding. Highly recommend this place for tourists/dates or just anything. Love this place.

Where do I start?...this place is so cool and I mean cool the breeze rolling through the bar because of the garage-type door that's rolled up. The outdoor seating is so fun makes you not want to leave. The food was excellent and flavorful the beer choices were endless and the kids menu had something for everyone. We loved this place its great for families or a girl's night or date night.

Took me forever to finally write this review but I had an awesome experience here a few weeks ago. It was me and my buddy's first time at this location and the bartenders are super nice especially Jack who really went above and beyond. He had some great recommendations for both beer and wines. It's a really friendly and open atmosphere kind of place we will definitely be back sometime to try the food

Not as fun as a lot of the other breweries where you get to talk to the people who make the beers. But the beers are really good and I suppose that's the real reason you came.

Came back almost 6 months later for more and still leaving more than satisfied Love coming here anytime we visit

We had such a fun family day today! We ordered beers, wings, grilled cheese, fries and Cesar salad. Food and drinks were all amazing. Husband raved over the Viva La Beaver. Sat outside and enjoyed all the families living life together.

Well, they didn't have any hard cider on tap, which is my thing. I'm not a big beer guy anymore. I swore that I hated seltzer. They had three seltzers on top that were very good. Great outdoor space great indoor space had the fish tacos were great son had loaded tots, which is great. We've been back twice since this.

This is a great little brewery pub in a business park area. It wasn't super crowded when we came on a Sunday afternoon which was what we were looking for. We had our kids with us and they have a kids menu and a dirt patio area where kids can play in open space. I had the Passionfruit Guava Seltzer and it was delicious. To eat, I had the chicken tinga tostadas. I could only eat one so definitely a good size and I like the tinga flavor and crisp tortilla. It started to get busier as we left and they have a stage outside for live music which is cool. We will definitely come back with the kids sometime.

Love the ambience here. Quieter than their sister business in oceanside. We dropped by coz we were shopping at a nearby target. Hubby had party on pilsner. 5% ABV I had snoggy noggy nog - 9% ABV Party on pilsner is always hood and easy to drink. Snoggy noggy nog tasted good but had a slight bitter aftertaste. Daves's classic burger had fresh ingredients. But the onion rings had an additional coating of spices after being fried and hubby thought it tasted weird. My poke bowl was generally good.all ingredients in there are incredibly fresh. Just one suggestion- either put less sauce in the rice. Or put it on the side in little containers it was a little over salted. Otherwise it was good Will be back for the beer and the ambience. Of all three belching beaver pubs. I like this the best The seating is plentiful and they also have a little outdoor area out back. Ordering is done at the bar. And they will text you when your food is ready. We will be back. Thanks!

One of my favorite hidden gem pubs! The atmosphere is always welcoming, the drinks are top-notch, and the food never disappoints--I've never had a bad meal here. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. I love that they're dog-friendly too, with treats and even dog patties available for our furry companions. Great spot for events, and the addition of the pool table and music really rounds out the experience. Highly recommend! (favorite things to order: Crazy Beaver wings (spicy mix of Cajun, buffalo and ranch/blue cheese wings. Also the Buffalo Fries. Like to do custom order of Buffalo Chicken fries with Crazy Beaver sauce).

Everything at the Belching Beaver is top notch. From the minute you're seated the server is there for your drink order and ready to take your food order when your drink is delivered. The food is served promptly and always delicious. The salmon, passion pear salad is plenty for two and one of our many favorites. They are always there to please, I highly recommend with 5 stars

Tried Belching Beaver today after a local soccer game and loved it! The food was great (ALL OF IT!) and the staff were amazing. They really made me and my family (including the kiddos) feel right at home. The pretzel bites were so good we had to place a 2nd order. I also loved the good variety of beers they had. I highly recommend this place for its cool environment, awesome staff, and super delicious food! Check them out!

Following our Soccer Tournament we celebrated at the Belching Beaver and enjoyed the Burger, fries and most importantly their Peanut Butter (Nitro) Milk Stout. Ladies managing the bar were super nice and we all had a great time.

It had been a while since I went to this location. If I do come to this location is usually to have a beer or two. Years ago I tried their burger, which it was good. However, today I was really bummed. I order the poke bowl, the rice tasted days old. Not soft, it was hard. Either it was dry and old or it was over cooked. I only ate the toppings. I also ordered the wings and the wings were over cooked that were hard to eat. I could have complained, but I had a long day, had been up since 4 am and I was starving. I think that they need to work on that. Beer is always a plus. Service was great but food was really disappointing.

Cool vibes at Belching Beaver Pub 980. Living plant wall and other touches soften the industrial feel of the place. We sat at the bar. Service was friendly and helpful. Loads of options for the beer drinker but limited wine selections. I chose a seltzer and my husband had a beer. Both were delicious. We started with the pretzel bites. Beer cheese was scrumptious and highly recommended. I had the short rib melt which was fine. Tots were perfect. Husband had the Mac and cheese appetizer as his entree. He loved it. Worth stopping by. Definitely will visit again.

The service was great and fast! The staff was very kind and helpful in making recommendations of drinks. The ambiance was also chill and relaxing.

This was hands down one of the coolest breweries and one hidden gem I've been to in a long time and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in beautiful Vista Downtown. I can't tell you how many times I've driven through this particular part of SD Country and had no idea that Vista even had a Downtown! I came across Belching Beaver Brewery last year while having a company event here and doing a presentation. Belching Beaver Brewery is a craft brewery that started in 2012 and now has six locations in San Diego County. Their Tavern & Grill in Vista Downtown is a former bank building that has been transformed into a cozy and rustic restaurant and bar. The coolest part is the bank safe which is now a private room to hold parties. They offer over 70 unique beers on tap, an extensive wine and spirit list, and a variety of dishes to pair with their brews. 5 stars for great ambiance, tasty food and beer plus friendly service!! I'II be back! Enjoy and Bon Appétit!

Stopped by for a quick drink. It was Tuesday so not too busy. We sat in the bar area with high top tables. They have a variety of beer and mixed drink. Ordered the garlic beef tips and they weren't good lots of fat on them. The waiter wasn't very attentive since we had to ask the other server for assistance. They have a huge parking lot.

The food and music is great it's the fucking flies. Close the garage doors get new dumpsters and maybe power wash that area around it. I love this place but it will be the last time I eat here. Reposition the dumpsters further away from the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting how many flies are in this place my whole party spent more time swatting flies then talking or eating.

Cool vibes. Nice place with lots of seating and pool tables. Rustic feel. Burger and beer battered fries were good. Beers were average, nothing really stood out. Order everything at the front and pick up food on the side. Tasters given freely. Line can get a little long. Been there done that. Probably won't be back.

Went down to So Cal for a conference and was told that this place had really great food and beer. The beer did not disappoint. The food could've been shared but it was pretty good for tavern food. The waiter was quick even though he had a full house. Definitely would like to come back!

I love the Belching Beaver in Downtown Vista; While the service was great and the atmosphere was great as well, the food unfortunately wasn't that good. I ordered a burger and fries; The burger was bland and had no seasoning and the fries weren't that crispy. However, I recieved great service after the complaints and got a chicken sandwich after that; It was better but still not that great with the same issue of lack of flavor. I will come back for the beer but probably skip on the food next time.

Went here for my husband's birthday. There were 8 of us. The food was very good and we liked the atmosphere which was fun, casual and upbeat. We missed participating in Trivia because it was outside and full by the time we got there so we may try again but get there earlier. I would recommend this place.

Great staff great beer great food! I enjoyed a beer flight and grilled shrimp tacos! They were delicious I will definitely visit again when back in the Carlsbad area!! Oh the nachos are bomb also

We had a wonderful experience at Belching Beaver Pub. We got a table outside on a beautiful day and it was SO relaxing. Our waitress was one of the best we have ever had. She was super friendly and helpful. We ordered a mixed drink that didn't really live up to what the menu was describing, and she made sure to tell management and they compensated the drink. They want to make sure you are having the best experience you can. We ordered a couple flights and by the time we were finished ordering, the drinks were already out to us. It was incredible!! The food was also amazing. We absolutely loved the apps!! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area!!

My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite & brew at Belching Beaver Pub 980 on a WED night and it was really great. I've been to the Belching Beaver Restaurant in Vista a number of times but this was our first time at the Pub...I have to say I think I prefer it. It has a number of tables outside with a few fire pits which is great. The interior has a great outdoorsy/beaver dam vibe throughout. There is a lot of space with elevated tables and a number of TV's with live sports. They have a cool merch area and of course you can see the giants vats. There is a central bar/kitchen that is the focus of the space for good reason. I had their Pomalo Pale Ale which was crisp and clean and then had their Peanut Butter Milk Stout w/ their Must Be The Honey Blonde Ale (their version of a black & tan) and it was so great. They also have Stubborn Sodas available. While the beers are always worth it, it's the kitchen that makes this place so great. Many breweries have a food truck slot, which is cool, but Pub 980 has a full kitchen that is making really great food. We had the Classic Burger, the Impossible Classic Burger, Nashville Sliders with fries, tater tots and onion rings which were all fantastic. The one flaw in the experience was that the service was hit or miss. There was a great young man that was bussing tables and helping out but the two women serving the beers were less than enthusiastic and didn't want to be there. It wasn't enough to knock a star off, and maybe they were just having an off night, but it was enough that it was worth mentioning. All in all, this is one of the best Brewery Tap Rooms in the area and we will definitely be back here again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Such a cute brewery in Vista with a great selection to choose from! We also ordered a few food items including the fish tacos and nachos. Food was ok - unfortunately nothing special and we ended up abandoning our leftovers.

What's up: Continuing on our brewery trek, we hit Belching Beaver as our next stop. I've been here once before and had enjoyed their Peanut Butter Milk Stout. Can you guess what I'm gonna order this time around? lol Parking: We came a bit after 1 pm and parking was plentiful. We managed to get a spot right up front and close by the entrance. Environment: Walking in, you'll see their merch section to the immediate right and straight ahead is the order counter and menu. There were plenty of tables to choose from; you can also sit at the counter. Restrooms can be found towards the left and are clearly marked. Music was at a good volume and the vibe was nice. They had string lights hanging and a camping theme setup with the greenery and tent decor. What was ordered: - Peanut Butter Milk Stout (creamy and yummy peanut butter flavor. Just as good as I remembered!) - Loaded Fries (tasty and cheesy) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The staff members were friendly and the beer was yummy. Interior was well lit and relaxing. Credit cards are accepted.

This is the third Belching Beaver location that we've been to and it was awesome! This was my first time trying their Death by Blueberry beer and it was amazing. It was light and fruity without being overwhelmingly sweet! I loved the hint of blueberry. It was refreshing and enjoyable to drink. I always get the peanut butter milk stout because it's one of my favorite stouts but I was very pleased with this blueberry beer! This visit I also discovered how delicious their food is. We ordered Dave's classic burger with fries. The burger was great. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. They were delicious fries. We also ordered the pear and passion salad that was filled with field greens, quinoa, bleu cheese crumbles, candied almonds, cran-raisins and lilikoi vinaigrette. I loved all the flavors and textures of this salad. The dressing was sweet and added a unique fruity flavor. It was all great! I highly recommend Belching Beaver for a beer and great food!

Food and ambiance is great inside or out back with the fire pits. Service is always good and we enjoy that people can bring their dogs out back with the families to sit and hang.

Meh.... They usher you in to a table with a server. You can't order drinks at the bar. A little controlling if you ask me... they should relax the atmosphere IMO.

Solid American bar food and good beer. Laid back vibe in a big open space and a patio. Nashville chicken sandwich was good, fries and tots solid. If you can try the pretzel- it's huge, great for sharing and comes with some great dipping sauces. Not standout food, but solid!

Fun local and casual brewery atmosphere. Delicious hazy beer. Welcoming staff ... even gave our dog some treats and offered her a dog bowl.

The service was great, the staff is friendly, they have good quality beers, I'm a stout person, so they have options for me there like stout or porter beers infused with peanut butter, coffee or chocolate. The place is also really cool, I really liked the environment. S

We had a casual rehearsal dinner here on 11/15/2023. I was mainly in communication with Deborah who was extremely helpful and kindly reserved a couple tables for us to enjoy the beer and food. It was bingo night and were glad to have tables further from the action to be able to chat. Kim the beer tender was absolutely fantastic and was super sweet! She really added to our great experience!

This was our second stop on brewery hoping. I had their beer many times but never been to their brewery. Have to say this Bleching Beaver Pub location is very nice. They have a nice spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Their beers are pretty good. I definitely enjoyed their Hazy's here. If you're into shouts. They are known for their Peanut Butter Shout. As for the food. We all thought it was great except for one of my order. FOOD: Fried Cauliflower and Leeks: This was good Loaded Philly Tots: This was fantastic. Their tots and fries were fried perfectly. Crispy on the outside and creamy inside. These were damn dddicting. Chili Con Queso: This was good as well. Beaver Burger: It was a good size burger but the patty was dry and under season. Dessert we ordered the yummy churro donuts to share. Overall a good fun brewery to hang out with family and friends to eat and drink.

My favorite Belching Beaver location. It's easy to get to, plenty of parking and off the beaten path...tucked into a business park in Vista. Excellent beer. However, I have dropped one Star due to their new, post covid, style of ordering at the counter. This can create a long wait in line just to get a beer while people ask for samples and discuss the beer and menu options. When you do finally get your beer and order food, you have to go back inside to pick up your food at the counter. You end up spending a lot of time walking back and forth to the counter and waiting in line to get another beer. I miss the old days of their excellent table service. They also discontinued the chicken sliders which were super popular. They made it one regular sized chicken sandwich, which isn't great for sharing. I would suggest a separate area/line for beer tasting to allow faster service for those who know what they want. And please bring back the yummy sliders!

My friends who are local recommended this place for their peanut butter stout and tots. It was SOOO delicious. I personally LOVED the tots more than the beer but the beer was delicious too. It's very nutty so kind of reminds you of a chocolate beer. It was a bit heavy for me so I only had one glass. My husband had one of their IPAs and he loved both! They have great food and beer. And most importantly, everyone there was super nice! Parking? Of course it's free- it's San Diego County! Good for groups? Yes Good for kids? Yes Good for pets? only service dogs Good for groups? Yes! absolutely especially when there's a game, it's a perfect place to be with friends
