"On the Pepperell Mill Campus I can take a hands-on glassblowing class at this studio and gallery, which is a fun creative stop amid the mills." - Stasia Brewczynski
My mom and brother and I had so much fun in our class! Tess and her partner were good teachers and gratefully they really take the lead to craft the piece you want while you safely assist. They were generous allowing us to pick unique color combos and everyone got a chance to make their piece. You could choose from a stemless wine glass, taller glass, small vase, paperweight or floppy bowl. Then they were available to pick up the next day. I’d 100% do this again as a fun activity or to make someone (or me!) a gift.

My husband and I had the best experience at our glass blowing class! Our instructor Tess was incredible, so patient, knowledgeable, and fun to learn from. The class was hands-on and easy to follow, even for beginners. We can’t wait to receive our finished pieces in the mail. Highly recommend taking a class here!

This is an awesome experience! Tess is a great instructor. She is very professional, gave easy to understand instructions, and answered our questions throughout the course. She used the right mix of letting us do the work and her performing steps while explaining what she was doing and why she was doing it, all to make sure that every piece we turned out was functional and beautiful! This is a must do experience while visiting the southern Maine/Biddeford area.

My family had a wonderful experience at Belfire! Tess is a wonderful instructor and is VERY knowledgeable about all things glass. We all had fun creating our own pieces that we will be able to cherish forever! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to take their first glass blowing class!

My husband and I went to Tess to bring to life our wedding unity ceremony. She enthusiastically and immediately embraced our idea and sent us home with an abundance of glass pieces to pour during our ceremony. She eventually sent us with a hand blown flask to pour our pieces into.
After our ceremony, we returned to Belfire with our mix of glass shards. She taught us how to blow them into 4 gorgeous glasses. We also commissioned her to make a large glass bowl with our pieces. They all came out stunningly! We are beyond thrilled with the results and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be referring friends to her going forward, for any glass commission or class!

Tess and Eric treated our family amazingly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable while helping us create gorgeous glass memorials.
We lost our son in November and thought that a great way to honor him would be to have glass pieces made including his ashes. 2 of his siblings, a cousin, his father, my wife & I all participated. They set out the entire day of classes for us and helped each one of us create beautiful memorials.
We also ordered 2 larger memorials to be made for us and couldn't be happier with the result.
The picture with several smaller pieces are the ones we made and the 2 larger pieces we commissioned.
Thank you to Tess, Eric & Dino🐕 who kept our granddaughter entertained all day.
