Where To Eat In Accra - Accra - The Infatuation

"Accra has no shortage of restaurants with a fun party vibe, complete with dedicated bands, DJs, and local dance crews that offer a real source of h’enjoyment at mealtime. But one cannot survive just on vibes. Enter Bella Afrik. They bring a rustic afro-lux interior energy featuring an impressive display of locally produced wicker lamp shades and art, combined with a large Italian menu of knockout hits. The pasta section includes homemade lasagna and creamy carbonara, and the thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas, created and blasted on-site, with a satisfyingly chewy texture. Bella Afrik is great any time of day, but the real excitement is in the evenings when the live music kicks in. Get here to celebrate a birthday, have a night out with a group of friends, or simply spot your favourite West African influencer, influencing, whilst you drink cocktails from a calabash. We highly advise you to book ahead, especially if you want to join their legendary Sunday club night shenanigans." - eileen twum

The interior was absolutely stunning I loved the ambience and overall vibe of the restaurant. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were generous. The mocktails were nice, though they leaned heavily on the sweet side, almost like drinking syrup. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Their attentiveness made the experience even better. The only downside was that the payment process could have been clearer, particularly regarding where to send the money when paying.

I have dined at Bella Afrik on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend the restaurant. There’s a parking lot with plenty of space, no need to dangerously park your car on the side of the road.

We had the most perfect night here with our friends, staff was amazing, Becky her food was life changing, service was the best. 10/10 recommend to go here. And we will definitely go back. Get the braised lamb!!!

Everything about this place was top notch! Beautiful ambiance from the moment you walk in. I attempted to reserve but it was full and had to send someone I didn’t know my credit card information unsecure. I opted not to do that. Walked in early enough and was lucky to get a seat at the bar. Good drinks. Good food. Great music. Lit and live. I’d highly recommend and will return! Thoroughly enjoyed myself here.

recently visited this place and was quite disappointed. While the shrimp tempura was good, my order was prepared incorrectly. The chef offered to replace it, but after waiting nearly two hours with no updates from the staff, we had to leave. To make matters worse, we were still charged full price for food we never received.

I have been coming regularly to this place for a couple of years on Sunday. It gets too busy and chaotic. Theres no overall control of the place. People fight for tables for hours and there are frequent comfrontations. We spent a lot of money in food and drinks. Over one hour total wait for the food. We order 2 dishes and the starter. The starter was never received because "they are too busy in the kitchen" . Shocking. When food was served all drinks were warm and ruined. The server didnt clean the table and didnt bring cuttlery. We waited until we decided to get a fork ourselves....lol The managers are constantly runing around like headless chickens dealing with complaints for people. The mood is poor as a result. Its a pity because the food is nice (portions too small though) and the music and deco are lovely. Generally far too expensive for what you get. Its run purely as business and making money has taken over the concept of art and entertainment. Downsize if you cannot provide.

I have heard good reviews about this restaurant and thought to try while in Ghana. Apart from their pricey food, the ambience is really great for a chill out and hanging out with friends . The service was relatively good although food takes a while. Cocktails was good - their food is not tasty for the prices they charge. It’s mid and not great. However my overall experience was good and I love the music that was also being played. Very authentic

I love this place. I really do. I just wish the staff maintained stellar service to all patrons. I dislike when places start getting discriminatory towards clientele. These photos are from the first time I dined there and I had such a wonderful time. The food - scrumptious (I had another dish I didn’t take photos of) and the staff was great then. The second time was such a huge disappointment! I was genuinely shocked. This was August 2024. I understand that we had no reservations and it was a Wednesday night which is a busy night for them because of salsa at Afrikiko. However, when we were FINALLY ushered in, the staff LITERALLY IGNORED US. We waited for over 30 mins and no one came to bring us menus or even introduce themselves. We tried to get their attention several times so we finally gave up and walked out and went to dine elsewhere. It was a humiliating experience. I’ve been turned off dining there again.
