A good effort, but it could be more polished. Service and food timing were the main issues. We ordered Garlic Bread (an appetizer) and 2 entrees. We got our entrees before the Garlic Bread. We saw another table of 6 with their entrees coming out perhaps 10 minutes apart and their Garlic Bread being delivered after entrees, too. The Garlic Bread costs $9.25! A bit expensive for what one gets. There is nothing garlicky about the bread - it is a sliced, plain baguette served with a ramekin of marinara sauce. Half that price would be more accurate for what one gets. Now I know better to not order it. Idk what needs to happen in the kitchen. They're not a big corporate operation who can hire more. I'm sure space is an issue there, meaning not enough.
I looked on the menu for wine, saw none, asked waiter, said they serve red or white, he did not say any price nor label, I ordered red, and only when bill came did I see I was charged $12.25 a glass! I was expecting something in the area of $8 or $9, especially not knowing what label nor quality of wine I got.
The entrees we got were good: Chicken Piccatta and Lasagne Bolognese.
I'm not sure I will return. Maybe I will at an earlier time in the evening and then, maybe I'll have a completely different and more positive experience.
