We love this place! Cozy atmosphere, great service, and amazing delicious food! We love the Pasta Pomodoro. We tried the pizza for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised how large the 20" was! Incredible crust and flavor. We highly recommend Bella Italia!

Stopped by here on a whim, pizzas are huge and full of toppings, good sauce and crust. Pizza dough was excellent, has the bubbles. Also tried the chicken picatta, delicious lemon sauce, with penne which was cooked Al dente. Red sauce on the penne was good as well. Atmosphere was very inviting, and well done for the space they have. Good to eat in, and it’s a classic Italian menu. I’d give it a shot!

My husband and I tried this place for the first time and it was amazing! The food tasted phenomenal and the portion sizes were huge. The staff was very kind, and they even gave us free garlic knots! We loved everything about it!

Used to order pizza from here when I lived close by, finally went in and had salad wings and fries ! So Good !!!! Everything was hot and fresh ! Fairly priced as well. Thank yall !

This place got the BEST Pizza I’ve ever had I went the first day came back the very next day !!! The establishment itself is very nice and clean ! && The pastry’s all look so amazing I’m gonna try a new one every visit! This visit I tried the Raspberry Almond Cookies 2.19 For 1 She Gave me 2 for the price of 1 Customer service Outstanding!!!! But I’m in the car trying this cookie I ate Both!!! They were absolutely Delicious! They are also gluten free!! I Loveeeeee Bella Italia !!!!

We tried Bella Italia and we LOVED! We ordered the garlic knots, baked zitti and baked ravioli. The food was hot and delicious. The portions were huge and fairly priced for a much food you get. Very impressed and this place will definitely be our go-to!!

This place appears to be a family run business and the food was seriously the best Italian food we’ve had in Denver and for my celiac disease, their gluten free pizza dough was extraordinary and not something you would think to be so good! My husband had the chicken Parmesan and his house made sauce hit a home run! The portion size was excellent for the quality you get! Do come and dine in for this gem!

I think we must have went in on a bad day! I love the food here and wanted to take my boyfriend to try it out for the first time and the experience was very weird and unsettling. I called ahead to make sure they were open New Year’s Day and they were. We came in at a decent time, I’d say around 6 and it felt like we were being a bother the whole experience and time! From the moment we sat down the server kept walking away without even asking us if we wanted anything to drink or greeted us in a friendly matter. We got served waters and before I could even tell the gentleman what I wanted for wine. He would walk away quickly and made it very obvious he didn’t want to be there. We order our dishes and then when we got them delivered, he dropped them off and walked away AGAIN. To pay $25 each for a dish you would think “May I get you anything else?” I didnt even order my wine because I knew from the vibes it would be a bother… such an awkward and weird experience to say the least. Do better!!

It was a wonderful night and so yummy! The fettuccine Alfredo was delicate and delicious. The chicken parmigiana was tender and incredible. Go check this place out! It's a hidden gem

Drove by and decided to stop in for lunch, so glad we did. Ordered Italian beers, garlic knots, bolognese, and chicken piccata. SO GOOD. Love that it's family owned. Fast, friendly service. We will come back.

This is a quaint little restaurant in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. The food was delicious with huge portions, enough for two meals. The server was friendly and prompt and the whole staff was personable and accommodating. The garlic knots were the best I've ever had. Although I did not try any of the desserts they all looked amazing. Will definitely be back.

It's unfortunate to give this cute little place such a bad rating but the experience was just poor and unlike the other lovely reviews. The food was good enough (but significantly overpriced for what you got and how it tasted) but it was not good that our appetizer still had not arrived even after our entrees were served. I don't know if they forgot to put it in or what but what was not cool is the waitress acted annoyed when I told her to cancel the garlic knot order considering our food had already arrived. She also seemed annoyed when my friend asked for the wine menu. The wines were not kept chilled, they were very warm. I have never had to put ice in my wine before but i followed my friend cue and added some they were so warm. The desserts were terrible unfortunately. We got an eclair and a tiramisu. The eclair was hard, we literally were able to knock on it and knock it against a plate it was so hard. The $12 tiramisu was also not made fresh. They literally took it from the cooler. The lady fingers were soggy and the layers were blended together and overly sweetened to mask the lack of flavor. The older gentleman that worked there was nice though. Unfortunately didn't make up for the rest of the experience.

This is one of the best! Pizza thin crust is perfect and flavorful fresh toppings, plus a big menu full of delicious food. It's a must try

Spinach Stromboli is amazing. Pizza and wings are great. Don't miss the lobster tail for dessert! Ordered for poker night and food got high marks.

We had a really nice time at Bella Italia. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I got the chicken parm, and it was delicious--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce was spot on. The kids had the Italian mac and cheese and loved it--super cheesy and comforting, just what they wanted. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. It's a great spot for a laid-back, tasty meal. We'll definitely be coming back! Directly from my daughter... This was a grate experience. I loved the food!

Outstanding! I have been here a few times and it's worth the drive every time. I would recommend the eggplant and spaghetti bolognese.

Before coming I had read the reviews which were so good, however when we came it was pretty empty. The interior gave a very cozy feel along with the ambiance. The service was okay, our waiter wasn't necessarily the friendliest but the food came out quick. We ordered the Garlic Cheesy Bread for our starter and it was so delicious, I especially love the marinara sauce for dipping 9/10! For my main course I ordered the Tri Colored Cheese Tortellini Vodka with Chicken and it was really good, except the chicken tasted a bit dry 8.5/10. For dessert I got the Chocolate Lobster Tail, the chocolate inside and on top was so good however I wish the croissant was softer 7.5/10. All in all the food was worth coming back for!

Charming little mom-and-pop shop with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and efficient, making for a smooth experience. The restaurant itself is cozy, so it's best to call ahead for large groups. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and delicious. The large pepperoni pizza was especially impressive--it was massive and could have easily fed the whole table! Highly recommend visiting this spot

Another one-and-done. Nothing special here--the Italian is on par with Olive Garden, just with a higher price tag (though I'm guessing a bit on that). It's been a while since I've been to OG, usually with a pack of soccer kids in tow. Who knows, maybe they've upped their game--but I doubt it. If I lived nearby, I might grab takeout from this place once in a while. I'm not going to get into the details--try it for yourself and decide.

We went there last weekend and it's a very small place, but very welcoming the people that own it were wonderful. The food was amazing. My wife had mushroom ravioli, and I had pasta Bolognese. The taste of the food and the quality of the food was amazing. Definitely definitely would recommend going back there.

This was our first time visiting Bella Italia and we are definitely going back. The servers were friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. We were looking for a good spaghetti, Bolognese and we were not disappointed. The bolognese sauce tasted like we were eating in the home of our good Italian friends. And the atmosphere was cozy, warm and friendly.

Amazing food. Best Italian I've had. Eat here, you will not regret it. I had the tricolored cheese tortellini vodka & my teenage daughter what had the cheese ravioli! Amazing! We'll be back!!

We came here with a couple of friends to celebrate our engagement. The server was a bit grumpy, but the food was good.

Don't you just love it when you go somewhere on a whim with fingers crossed because you're in a strip mall?! We were craving Italian and chose this spot because it was the closest. Super friendly host, quick service and OMG THE FOOD! The garlic knots were freshly made and everything you dream of with a good knot- crispy buttery garlicky exterior, pillowy soft interior- don't skip on these. We also got a side of meatballs that were authentic and tasty. Standard fresh Cesar salad the kiddo devoured and did u mention the case of delectable Italian treats? We took home the raspberry and coffee tiramisu as well as a couple of eclairs- everything looked and tasted delish! Go here!!

So good! Great service but recommend a reservation when dining in because the place is so small. Portions are a good size, but I love getting just appetizers (garlic knots and toasted ravioli were perfect!). They do put peas in their bolognese, but I pick them out --just my preference.

This is a true family restaurant quaint and cozy. The pizza is quite simply the best New York style pizza I have ever tasted. One slice filled me up. The light airy texture of the crust was perfect. They apparently make their own italian sausage which was sliced thin as opposed to chunked onto the pizza. That made a delicious difference. We ordered a large salad to go with our large pizza. The salad was fresh, and their homemade dressing is out of this world! We got a quart to take home. Then, if you have any room left, they have amazing freshly baked pastries taunting you as you enjoy your meal. Try this local gem! You will be pleasantly rewarded.

The pizza is the best for miles no need to drive further. The spagetti dishes are excellent. Good selection of vino, the deserts are house made and very good, I have tried them all. My Wisconsin friend tells me the cheese bread is the perfect balance. I have zero complains, however if there were room for improvement, I would ask the counter persons be more personable.

Classic old-school Italian, just the way you want it. Attentive service and fair pricing. For someone looking for a casual but very good Italian meal near Colo Blvd/Leetsdale, I would give this place a look. The only thing to note is they do a heavy take-out/counter business, so the seating area is small, and lots of people are in and out of the business.

A quaint place and the food was excellent. I had spaghetti and marinara and the sauce was delicious. My husband had eggplant Parmesan and it was the best I've ever had (we shared). We got an order of Italian sausages to have the next day and they were delicious as well. Very reasonable pricing. It's a gem.

Sam, Ben, and Brian are so nice! Love supporting a Mom and Pop shop like this. This place is easily comparable to Tavernetta for authenticity and execution. The arancinis (rice balls) are the best we've ever had! Fried raviolis are perfectly crisp. The seafood pasta is LOADED with scallops. The calzones are ENORMOUS and also loaded with meat. The garlic knots are doughy but crispy. Not a damn thing on the menu that isn't incredible. That's what you get when you have 2 owners who moved here from Italy. Highly recommend their desserts!!! The profiteroles, like everything else, are made from scratch. LEGIT tiramisu, too.

I've ordered from this place quite a few times. I love the garlic knots but they can't be good for me haha. They are so soft and such buttery, garlicky deliciousness. The pasta dishes are always good too. But it is pretty pricey, that's why I deducted 1 star.

We frequent this location and we can't say enough about this restaurant. They have an entirely authentic Italian vibe. From the service to the food. I almost always get the bruschetta and it's never disappointed in flavor. You'd be missing out if you didn't get the meatballs as a side dish. Every main entree we've ever ordered has been perfect. Always coming out hot. Never lacking in flavor. But the best dish is the lasagna bolognese if it's available. Dine in or to go, the food is always delicious. Check it out!

Food comes out fresh, the restauarsnt is a bit small but that's what made it excellent for an intimste evening with friends. Not pictured is a whole selection if delicious desserts they offer, but we were all too full to get anything past our entrees. Overall, strongly recommend!!!

Everything that I've tried at Bella Italia has been delicious and quality food However several times Ive ordered online and didn't receive what I ordered and dealing with Grub Hub is impossible

This place keeps us coming back again and again because the food and service are both unmatched. The garlic knots are hands-down amazing. You won't regret ordering them. Their portions are generous and the prices match the quality. The "Four Seasons" pizza is also a favorite of ours. It truly is some of the best Italian food in the Denver metro area.

This place is off the charts! It well deserves its 4.5 rating from over a hundred reviews-and I had never heard of it before I found it by chance while looking for a place just south of Hilltop. Tucked in a little strip mall on Leetsdale down around Forest St. you'll mistake this place for a tiny hole-in-the-wall takeout stop. But they are a couple of wonderful people and great cooks who almost randomly chose to move from their small town in Sicily to Denver when the pandemic was in full force and found this location that seats around 20-25 people, almost by chance. Had a business lunch there and the food was so good that we forgot the work talk and could only blabber the whole time there about how delicious the food was. Total surprise, in the way that a "surprise" brings huge grins to your faces. This Monday, as you could guess, with the 4th being the next day, was kind of slow, so we got to talk with Samantha, the owner, and learned a little bit about their history. Neat couple with no direct links to Colorado so its just our dumb luck that they ended up here. Their food is way under-priced. Had an incredibly great tasting eggplant roll appetizer that was enormous and could have been a meal for 2, all for $10. I told her that it was ridiculously under-priced but Samantha was not having any of that, so absolutely go in and get it at that bargain basement price. My dining partner had the chicken parmigiana sandwich that he said was wonderful and he could only eat 1/2 of it, and it too was way too cheaply priced for what you got. Had one of their raspberry almond cookies and their pistachio cookies that were also mindblowingly excellent. Attached are some pix of the mall (so you don't drive on by without seeing it) along with a snap of the app I had. Head on over and give yourselves a treat!

Food is always so good, never disappointed. Staff is very attentive as well. It can get a bit warm inside, I don't think they put the AC on. Will always go back.

So amazing. I think about my meal here weekly. I try to go when I'm in that part of town. Huge family style portions, friendliest waiter, and THE FOOD. Amazing. The ambiance reminded me of a cozy Italian restaurant that I'd pop into near Rome. The photo was after I ate a few because I couldn't help it.

We spotted this place on the way to a dance recital and looked it up - my husband and I are always on the look out for great Italian food! Bella Italia did not disappoint! I had the Chicken Marsala with capers and artichoke hearts in a really tasty sauce, with pasta marinara on the side. My husband says his test of any Italian eatery is the eggplant parmigiana - Bella's passed the test! We had a very generous pour of a yummy Pinot Grigio with our meal as well. The staff, maybe owner, we're all very sweet and attentive, and overall it was a really great experience. They have several specialty, from scratch sauces to pick from and gluten free options where pastas and pizza dough are concerned as well. The pizza gets fantastic reviews, but will have to wait for another day. So glad we stopped by! As an after thought, at least one Review complained about the ambiance, but I could care less about that as long as the place is clean, the servers and staff are friendly, and the food is wonderful - Bella Italia delivers on all of that.

The food here is so delicious! I just came home from vacation and my son's girlfriend picked me up. We were both hungry and she wanted Italian. Bella Italia is less than 4 miles from our house and they were going to be open til 10p so off we went. We are so glad we tried Bella Italia because it is so delicious! We started with fried ravioli. For my entree, I got spaghetti alle vongole and Kendra got fettuccine frutti di mare. We also ordered a side of sausage since they make them in house. Everything was so delicious and I can't wait to make a return trip!

Everything is amazing! The margarita pizza and stuffed shells were the best we've had in Denver.

Gluten free pizza is the best around. Will be my go to spot from now on. Can't believe I didn't know about this place before.
