"This Port Angeles institution was transformed into a pilgrimage site for Twilight fans after Bella and the vampire guy dined here on their first date. Pastas, pizzas, and other Italian classics are prepared with finesse and served in a pleasant, casual dining room that does in fact make a good date-night destination, even for humans." - Matthew Lombardi, Eater Staff

Went here mainly for my Twilight obsessed gf. The food was decent. We got the tenderloin and white king salmon. Maybe it was a new cook or we didn’t get want they were known for. The people were nice and friendly but the restaurant will torture you with the same song on repeat.

Bella Italia, overall, was a fun experience for my partner and I. We were driving in from La Push and were obviously coming in for Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli. We called earlier in the day and made a reservation. I highly recommend making a reservation before showing up because when we were waiting on a table, they were turning away walk-ins. Before our reservation, we had about 20 minutes to burn and headed to the New Moon Craft Tavern (fitting 🐺) right around the corner for a quick drink (highly recommend you get a little tipsy before walking into Bella Italia ~ trust me). I chugged a cider while my bf chugged a beer. After closing our tab, we headed to Bella Italia. When we walked in, there was already a small crowd waiting in the waiting room. I walked up to the 16 yr old hostess and told her I had a reservation. We ended up having to wait 10 minutes for a table anyway. Which wasn’t a big deal for us because we were both pretty tipsy and giddy, quietly giggling at all the small touches of Twilight they had around the restaurant. Once we were seated, I noticed that the bartender was also working as the waiter (rockstar). It seemed as if only him, the hostess, the cook in the back, and another woman were working that day— so it was really short staffed. I looked around at all the tables and noticed everyone seemed upset, impatient and non understanding of the situation. There were so many families with stern tense faces, tapping their feet, etc… like relax mannn. You’re gonna get your Twilight meal. 😂 We were having the time of our lives due to our “pre-gaming” and low expectations (due to reading previous negative reviews). It was just so fun to be there at Bella and Edward’s apparent first date spot, eating Bella’s meal. We joked about ordering 2 cokes as well since apparently she orders that in the book. Anyway~~ We were served in a timely manner, food came out fairly quick, and food was bomb. I wish they had salt and pepper shakers at each table because my ravioli could have used a *touch* of salt. We also ordered the focaccia 🤌💋 so good. My bf got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was pretty good as well. Our waiter was really cool, swift and experienced. He knew what he was doing so props to him. I also noticed that the staff were having small celebrations for getting food to each table 🥺 which made me sympathetize with them because I couldn’t imagine running a full restaurant with only 4 or 5 people. Especially since this restaurant mostly attracts Twilight fans from around the world. So you never really know what kind of customers you’re gonna get (tourists can be the worst 🙄). So if I could give any advice about this experience it would be: 1) make a reservation 2) go get a little drinky drink before walking in 3) lower your expectations (this is just a small sea town forced to serve Twilight fans. They didn’t ask for this!!) 4) HAVE FUN!! It’s Twilight themed for Christ’s sake. 5) Bring your own salt shaker ;) Like I said, overall, this experience was great and I’m so glad I went. Tbh we were gonna skip this stop but I’m glad we didn’t. Great job to the staff, keep it up. ❤️💪

Ciao Bella!! If you know Twilight, then you know Bella Italia, so regardless of whether you're a true twilight fan or not, if you happen to be in the area, it just makes sense to stop and eat. And NO, it does not look as it did in the movie. You will walk past one of the cutest little bars I have ever seen into a very comfortable dining room. The bottles of wine scattered throughout, combined with the decor that reflects the warmth, charm, and rich cultural heritage of Italy makes this place special. The classic Caesar salad is a good starter here, a little lemon zest and fresh parmesan is the perfect way to ramp up that Palat for an Italian entree. Bella may love mushrooms ravioli, but I do not! So, the classic spaghetti and meatballs it is...Al dente pasta covered with a fresh house made marinara sauce, topped with juicy and flavorful meatballs, be sure to add a glass red wine, Perfetto!! For dessert the classic Tiramisu is a great selection, it's a light, flavorful and not heavy on the cinnamon. A great end to a wonderful meal. Attention to detail, including attention to customer service is heavily practiced here, you won't be ignored. Cheers!

We went here after going to Forks for a Twilight tour. I had the Bella mushroom ravioli. It was good. Hubby had manicotti with marinara and Pesto. And focaccia bread. Restaurant from book not movie. Good food.

Our table loved Bella's Mushroom Ravioli, the Smoked Salmon Fettucini, and the Bruschetta. We enjoyed the geoduck chowder. Unfortunately none of us liked the Zucchini Noodle Pesto. Staff is warm and welcoming, and the restaurant is very cozy. We went at 5pm on a Tuesday and there were a few customers, but as we left at 6:30pm it was very busy.

Lily, our server, was fantastic! We enjoyed a three course meal celebrating our honeymoon, and it was a fantastic meal! We were also able to snag the Twilight table, which offered a bit of seclusion in their busy restaurant. Unfortunately, our table cloth was quite dirty and a few pieces of cheese were sprinkled everywhere. We watched another server buss and clean a table, so I’m assuming it’s because of the cloth. Besides that, the bruschetta, mushroom ravioli, moscato & more was fantastic. Thank you Lily & Bella Italia for such a fantastic meal!

Google
We were on a Twilight trip so we had to go here of course! The bread was so tasty and warm. The bruschetta was great and garlicky. The mushroom ravioli was super good. It has some sort of peppery white sauce with it. The shrimp scampi was way to spicy and was served with a ton of angel hair pasta. The fettuccine was ok, not over the top. The special was salmon, a bit dry and not much flavor. It is a small place but a cute atmosphere. Service is a bit slow, only two of them and they make their own cocktails. Overall, it was a good dinner priced reasonably.

Tourist here: I have had Italian food from all around the USA and this is one of the best I’ve had! I suggest making a reservation before hand but it is definitely worth the wait if you do a walk in!

Yelp
We went to here for the first time after living in Port Angeles for the last 5 years. We chose it on a whim and was absolutely delighted with making that decision. Not only was the food amazing (I only wish they had bread with the pasta) and service was impeccable. We went there to celebrate our 7 year anniversary and our waitress Kim T made our night even more special. The food had amazing flavor and very filling. I got the Alfredo and my husband got the manicotti. You get good sized portions too. I ended up having two meals out of mine. Our waitress was amazing and even offered to buy us a dessert to take home (I was stuffed) for our anniversary. We will DEFINITELY be returning to this amazing restaurant and will also be recommending it to everyone we know. Thank you Kim T for making our anniversary even more special.

Yelp
Came mostly for the twilight vibes, but I was pleasantly surprised by the menu options! The food was pretty good. We had just finished a longer hike and were pretty hungry so we split the focaccia, Caesar, and geoduck soup, and then I had the mushroom ravioli for obvious reasons (and also because I'm pescatarian) which was solid and my partner had the chicken parm which he was very happy with. The drinks were pretty good, but perhaps a bit too sweet, and we really had to stir the cream soda to get it to mix. The servers were kind, but it took quite a while to be seated and then to order and then get the check, almost 2 hours total. I think they might have been understaffed perhaps, but that was my main negative of the experience. I would make sure you're not in a hurry. The ambiance was cute because it had all these romantic little booths and cool lighting. I'm glad we went but I wish the service had been a little bit speedier as we had to get on the road.

Aubrey T.

Yelp
This is a must if you're in the area! My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here after a day of hiking in Olympic National Park. I called ahead to request the corner booth table by the windows, which I would definitely recommend! The vibes in the whole restaurant were super cozy and romantic, but the corner booth really put it over the top. We ordered the Caesar salad, geoduck chowder, mushroom ravioli, and halibut special. Everything was delicious. The Caesar dressing tasted homemade and fresh. The chowder was creamy. The mushroom ravioli came with an Alfredo-esque sauce that was to die for. The halibut was flaky and served with a lemony risotto that was full of flavor. The service was also excellent--both our waitress and the hostess were welcoming and attentive. They have a pretty good wine list as well. We would for sure come back if we are ever back in Port Angeles.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Our server RJ was very friendly. The restaurant was nice and comfortable we had a table at the window so watched the downtown streets. We had a Caesar salad and focaccia bread. The chicken parm and mushrooms ravioli. All was great we weren't crazy about the bread as I like bread to be a bit more hearty and crisp and this was very soft. All and all everything was great though!

Steve S.

Yelp
Great drinks. Good food. Excellent ambiance. This is an excellent restaurant. We ordered Riesling, Manhattan, Bruschetta, Chicken Parm, and Salmon. Good portions. Good flavor. Not too much pepper. Good service.

Brandon E.

Yelp
I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs, my friend had the smoked salmon fettuccine, both amazing. Made me wish I was in the peninsula for longer to come back! Our servers were very friendly and catering; Especially when recommending drinks for us! The inside decor and ambiance is wonderful and welcoming, warm colors everywhere to pique your appetite. If you want a good meal, friendly social vibes, and a waiter happy to help, this is the spot for you!

Yelp
This place was on the list for the famous Twilight tour in the Port Angeles, WA and Forks, WA area. Apparently, this was the restaurant where Bella and Edward had their first date (based on the book NOT the movie). The decor is simple but honestly very inviting. There is a corner table by the window towards the end that I'd probably move into and live in for the rest of my life. It's THAT COZY and so romantic. If you're on a date, I highly recommend you ask to be seated there. The food menu is simple but the wine list is extensive. There aren't that many options to choose from, but it's somewhat vegetarian friendly. They also have the "plat du jour" or "dish of the day" options that you can choose from. On the day we dined in, they had a shrimp + lemon risotto dish as the dish of the day, so we opted to try it. We also got the Pasta Primavera as it seemed to be the lightest option on the menu. The shrimp was seasoned and cooked well, but the risotto was a miss. For 28$, I expected a lot more flavor; it just wasn't there unfortunately. The pasta primavera was alright. The veggies were cooked in a what seemed to be a garlic butter (not sure) sauce. All together it was a decent dish. The evening was enjoyable and the service was excellent. The owner was there, and was also checking up on everyone. I'd definitely come back again! ~Till next time!

Mike R.

Yelp
Food was pretty bland and really needed salt. Service and ambiance was great. Went because of Twilight. Probably won't be back as the price for food to quality and taste do not match up.

Rae B.

Yelp
One of our favorite places. But can be a hit or miss with what comes out on the plate - we always order bruschetta and last time the order came with regular toasted bread, which became soggy. Other than that, it's still a favorite place for us.

George M.

Yelp
Found this place in Port Angeles and didn't know anything about it. Was pleasantly surprised. Service was superb and the food was excellent. The atmosphere is casual yet classy. Date night destination for sure.

Jessica H.

Yelp
Great food, nice people. Cute atmosphere for the small town it's in. The server directed me to the halibut which I would never really order, I'm from the East coast, but this was the best fish I've had in a while. Excellent staff, all super nice and welcoming. Best restaurant in the area - I searched!!

Em C.

Yelp
This place is a very romantic vibe restaurant. my husband and I sat at Bella and Edwards table. So cute! The staff is very kind and the food was so good! Of course, I had to get Bella's mushroom ravioli and my husband got the chicken Alfredo. The chicken was delicious and the pasta was so uniquely flavorful. Five stars for ambience and food! Must stop by here when in Port Angeles!

Andrea R.

Yelp
The service was wonderful here, got seated right away. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well. As a Twilight fan I was excited to come here for the Mushroom ravioli and it did not disappoint - there's a reason it's their signature dish! I also ordered the wedge salad - the apples on the wedge salad were a bit soggy but the flavor of the dressing was wonderful. I would t say I'd get the salad again though I can't imagine coming here again not getting the mushroom ravioli!

Lacie T.

Yelp
Terrible service. Walked in and could not get service. Open tables everywhere and would not serve at the bar or to go. Said it would be at least an hour and a half wait. The host and waitress bragged when we walked out the door. I don't care if your food is good, it's never that good

Jay M.

Yelp
I didn't take pictures because I was really in the moment with my food. We had reservations last night for 645pm and requested a booth to the hostess while there, which she graciously provided. Service was excellent, everyone was friendly and the wait time was not bad at all. We ordered the foaccia, the meatballs (comes in 4 with sauce and cheese on top, really good!) as appetizers and we had the mushroom ravioli, spaghetti with meatballs and the smoked salmon fettucini. The mushroom ravioli was bomb! Honestly, for us everything tasted great and it all came out hot. The server was great, as it got busy another girl tended to us. They were both attentive and friendly. The ambiance is very romantic and I think it's a great place to take someone out on a date. I did take a pic of part of the menu. There is some parking across the street, we got there at a perfect time because it wasn't that busy. But it did pick up pretty quick and I saw some people get turned away who didn't have reservations later in the evening so I would suggest making one. We called the day before. I read some of the reviews and understand it could be a hit and miss. I am Hawaiian/Asian and I personally have not experienced anything racist. In my case, it was a big hit here. I noticed as things picked up it was a bit short staffed with two different people tending to our table. My family loved it here.

Jordan O.

Yelp
I took my sister, visiting from Hawaii, on a twilight tour to forks. Our trip was supposed to start here at Bella italia, but it ended here instead. This was due to their website showing the wrong hours. We showed up at 11am, and we weren't the only ones. 5 of us were outside waiting before someone called in and heard their hours on their voicemail. It's not even displayed on their door, and when you get a lot of travelers, this is pretty important, we planned our day around it and had to change all our plans to fit it in on the way back. Came back at 4, seated right away. Service was really good but TOO slow. I won't blame our server, he was the only one working for the entire restaurant and he was great. Took about an hour for us to get our food with only 2 other tables present. Which is...not good. As far as the food itself Geoduck chowder - 3/5 really good flavor but really thin, I like my chowder thicker, also couldn't find any geoduck. Pasta Primavera - 0/5 this was our fault. Didn't read the menu right. Literally just noodles and veggies, no sauce, no seasonings. Completely bland. Mushroom ravioli - 2/5 supposed to be the star of the show, it's ok. Squash ravioli - 4/5 this was really good, loved the sauce. Lemon panocotta - 3/5 not too sweet, really lemony, sauce didn't have much flavor though. Overall happy we did it as part of the "twilight" experience, but with the incorrect hours, slow service and inconsistent food. We'll leave it as a ONE TIME experience

Edith C.

Yelp
Our server was very nice and checked in regularly. Came in to eat, shortly after it opened and it got busy pretty fast. The food was good. We had Bella's mushroom ravioli which was good, we ordered bruschetta twice as this appetizer was a favorite. Overall it was a very nice restaurant and attending this restaurant completed our twilight adventure. Forgot to take pictures as we got distracted once our food arrived.

Cristi C.

Yelp
I've been here 3 times now and YUM. I know it's cliché to get Bella's mushroom ravioli - but get it! The first time we came my husband got something else and then tried mine and said he should've gotten the ravioli. Even if you don't want the meal - get it to split and try. It's so good. The place is small, local owned, so be patient with them. If one person calls in sick, it can throw a wrench in things. The reviews about poor service are unreliable because of this. Be pleasant, be patient, and be kind. The staff was so nice. Enjoy your meal - I can't wait to return a 4th time - thank you!!!

Sabrina V.

Yelp
Went here because of Twilight and was impressed by the restaurant! The ambiance was calming and the staff were so nice, amazing service! Everything we ordered was delicious, great quality and quantity! Our main entrees were worth their price and we left feeling content and full. The wild scampi was practically a never ending bowl of pasta and the chicken marsala was yummy and went well with the fettuccine alfredo underneath then chicken breast. Would absolutely recommend this place and go here again if I end up in Port Angles again

R A.

Yelp
They don't let you do half a star, its hard not to give a local place at least 4, but that is where I am at with this place. Friendly staff, almost too much. The service was good and while our server was busy with the other tables, we did not feel left out. The food was good with a few drawbacks that affected my liking the place. The focaccia is 5.00 and not very good and a small portion and not worth paying for. The wine selections are over priced for what they are and pours inconsistent. The Caesar salad was blah and basically a chop salad, the shaved Romano cheese on top did nothing for it. They brought out the big peeper grinder, which is nice, but the grind was so fine it was almost comical to me to watch a fine mist of pepper come out of it.. They must of dialed it down to save $ ? The entrees were good, we had the duck and a pasta dish. The duck was good, the potatoes had a waxy and sheen to them, tasted alright, but what's the sheen from? Duck was good. Pasta was baked and done well, the Pesto was very good, which was nice and a statement they make their own. We added the Brussel sprouts, mixed liking of them. Needed more balsamic to me and they were a tad too much al dente, but my partner liked them. The place was busy and while the tables and booths are relatively small, it still provided privacy and comfort to talk and enjoy your meal. To me, the cutting of costs with the pepper mill grind, mediocre balsamic, chop chop ceasar salad and much to be desired wine selection can be over come. Cutting cost by taking away or reducing amounts, undermines the quality and atmosphere of a place. Maybe we will try it again, but for now its low on the list.

Romana G.

Yelp
When we arrived, it was kind of empty. We were seated really quickly. Once we ordered, it started getting really busy so I can see why some people have been saying they were ignored for a while. We ordered the mushroom ravioli and the butternut squash ravioli. The mushroom ravioli was soo good! The mushroom is not overpowering at all. The butternut squash was good but nothing special. The Gorgonzola sauce they use is really good. For dessert we got the blackberry crumble. It was just okay. I wish it had more crumble.

Betty N.

Yelp
We went back for the second time. Decided it was "THE" reason to stay the night in Port Angeles. Food was again GREAT! Geoduck Chowder was amazing.. Squash ravioli was fabulous. Clams on Angel Hair pasta was slightly too soupy but still delicious. Ceasar Salad is the way Great Ceasar salads should be. We had outstanding service. Glad we made a reservation.

Charles J.

Yelp
Well, I think we found our new FAVORITE restaurant in Port Angeles! Background music from Andrea Bocelli and Ottmar Liebett set the mood for a fantastic dining experience. The waitstaff was super friendly, and made several excellent suggestions. I had the smoked salmon linguine (recommended by our waiter). Delicious, and went very well with the Lavender soda. My wife had the baked manicotti, with a side of the rosemary focaccia bread. If my linguine was a '10', then her baked manicotti was at least an '11'. Since moving to Seattle, it's been many years since we tasted a red meat sauce *that* tasty. That red meat sauce was the star of the show. Hoping we can get there one more time before we head home!

Karen M.

Yelp
I had the lasagna veggie special which was lukewarm outside and cool in the middle. My husband had the clam linguine special which was served with clams that did not open in the steaming process, a sign of spoiling. Very disappointed with the quality of the foods!

Emily S.

Yelp
I would give a zero if I could. The wait time for our food to arrive was over an hour due to a staff member injuring themselves sometime prior to us ordering. We only found about this after we had been waiting for an hour after placing our order. Food was served 1.5 hours after ordering. I understand the chef was a one man show but we should have been notified a lot sooner. The food came Out about 20 min after we were updated and the flavoring was watered down. Presentation was neat but you can tell it was rushed. We stayed till the very end didn't finish all our food. We were polite and waited to be recognized to get a to Go box and the check. No one acknowledged us until we had to call for a staff member. Even then it took them another almost 5-10 min to bring the check. Waiter then proceeded to give us an attitude after asking us how we liked our food. We gave our honest opinion and they proceeded to charge our card with no type of discount was offered. We shouldn't have paid full price for late meal that lacked flavor and service that was lagging. We barely got noticed towards the half of our wait. We gave this restaurant a try but obviously made the wrong decision. Maybe it's better on other days or if you happen to know someone there.

Stark L.

Yelp
The staff were incredibly nice! Not gonna lie, I stopped here to finish off a full twilight themed day, not expecting much from the restaurant, but it was a great experience overall. The food was very satisfying after a long day out and about, a good choice from Bella Would love to come back and try some other menu items!

Jason K.

Yelp
Everything from the moment we walked in tonight was welcoming. The host made a fun crack when we walked in that got us smiling. Our server was super friendly and smiled. The food was spot on. We had Bruschetta, two Caesar salads, Mushroom Ravioli, and the spicy Prawns over linguine. Every part of our meals was perfect. What a treat in this small town on the Northern end of the peninsula. Will come back if back in the area.

Ed B.

Yelp
In the past have traveled long distance for several decades, to eat here. But it was Just not like it was pre-Covid.

Margarita G.

Yelp
Food was decent! But service was SO BAD. Genuinely I didn't even want to tip. It was horrible! Me and my partner had reservations, and yet it took them over half an hour to even write down our order. Then after waiting half an hour, we needed to wait another half an hour for our food. Please note that some tables that were seated got their order and food within 15 minutes from arriving. While other tables were having full on arguments rightfully so with waiting staff. The waiting staff was gaslighting, belittling, and talking down to them. I personally was so frustrated on how the waiting staff was treating them. And this happened with the two tables beside me, I can only imagine what was happening around the rest of the restaurant. I'm not coming back and sadly not recommending anyone to visit. Not sure if it was race problem because me and my partner are Asian/Mexican. And the neighboring tables were also POC (people of color)! Respectfully over priced food, little protein in our dish. And honestly I have had better at Olive Garden / Spaghetti factory!

Minji K.

Yelp
Food was amazing, the mushroom ravioli was great and not just a twilight gimmick. We went because of twilight and our server was really into it and super friendly. Salmon pasta was really good but maybe not for picky eaters. Bread was also good.

Priscilla L.

Yelp
The service was ok. Felt a little weird that we got served after everyone else but go my sat before all those people. I hate to think this was because of our ethnicity... the ravioli was delicious and I got a side of zucchini but this is a one time stop.. tried it, experienced it and now I'm moving on from it!

Robby S.

Yelp
Food was great! The meatballs and focaccia were fantastic. We split the chicken parm and had to grab a second one to eat later. Highly recommend this if you're in Port Angeles.

Lisa A.

Yelp
Fist time here extensive menu with gluten-free options! Good prices and awesome service would recommend!

Sydney R.

Yelp
Food 5 stars. Ambiance 5 stars. Service 5 stars. It was pretty busy when We came for the twilight festival and thoroughly enjoyed.

Keith H.

Yelp
After having dinner here, I later learned this place advertises itself as the restaurant that was apparently featured in the Twilight film franchise. Despite being a movie buff and having formerly worked in the film industry (including being employed by the actual company that later produced the Twilight films), I had somehow missed seeing any of them. Oh, well. In any event, from an objective foodie perspective, this place was pretty solid. Having no idea of the significance of the mushroom ravioli, I ordered the Chicken Marsala instead with the Geoduck Chowder as a starter. The chowder was okay--I had expected something more hearty if mighty geoducks were involved. Instead, I received somewhat bland offering (more like potato soup) with very little clam meat in it. The Chicken Marsala was served with fettuccine Alfredo on the side, which proved to be a nice complement. However, like the chowder, the dish itself could have packed more punch. I could barely taste the Marsala wine. Overall, good but safe food. Service was efficient and friendly. (3.5 stars).

Cameron W.

Yelp
Attractive place. Server Lilly, was delightful. We liked the food. We had a half carafe of wine, a small Caesar salad, baked manicotti with meatballs, and pasta prima vera with zoodles. Our only criticism was the sauce too watery on the prima vera. The servings were generous. $67 plus tax and tip. We'll be back.

Ryan S.

Yelp
This restaurant had a nice ambiance and really good food. Ordered the Caesar salad, clam chowder and chicken parm. All were really delicious! The service was also top notch with really good recommendations, very attentive and gave us good tips to check around port Angeles and Olympic national park.

Jo F.

Yelp
Being a local, I was happy to try this restaurant twice last week. Our group had the manicotti, the steak, chicken, Parmesan, white salmon. Pasta, Primavera we had the focaccia bread for an appetizer. The marinara sauce is very light. It does not have a rich powerful flavor. So to each his own on that. The ambience was amazing, the service was fantastic. The bread was not very warm, but it was tasty and the olive oil, balsamic vinegar dip was wonderful. In our group, I'd have to say the steak was the best as well as the Pasta Primavera. I would definitely come back again. The portions are small, but you leave satisfied with both the flavor and the portions. It's a wonderful evening out.

Gail H.

Yelp
Service was very slow. Manager was not helping wait staff at all. Appetizers came out with the meal. Slow service, food was just okay.

Maggie B.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with the food. We went for the obvious Twilight reference, so I had to try the mushroom ravioli. WOW it was so amazing. The other reviews say the service is terrible and I don't fully agree. The employees are very kind, but they are slow. Just go in with expectations of waiting a bit and you'll be golden. This is my favorite pasta dish now and might fly back just to have it again.

Whitney K.

Yelp
My cousin and I finally went on a Twilight trip, so of course we had dinner at Bella Italia! We didn't think to ask for The Table, but we certainly will next time. Bella's mushroom ravioli was fantastic, as expected, and I added prawns. Cousin had the tenderloin and MAN was it tender! So delicious. Beautiful interior. Fantastic staff. Can't wait to dine again!

Andrew G.

Yelp
Incredible service the entire staff was so friendly. This was a special occasion for my wife and we were both very thankful to have such a relaxed atmosphere with great food. Thank you Kim for going above and beyond!

Three stars for potential ambiance. We had a reservation. Restaurant had a few tables full near the windows. The hostess brings me and my daughter to the smallest table crammed in a corner near the window next to four lovely seniors who shouted to speak the entire meal (insert wincing). Thinking they must get busy fast and saving the other 3/4 of the restaurant for larger groups.......NOPE. In fact, every couple that came in after us were seated at four seater tables and by the time we left half the tables were still empty. Does seem like they seat only by the windows, maybe to give impression they're busy? First warning was their primary diner seems to be over 60, and maybe have no taste buds? The food portions were so tiny....like the smallest chicken parm EVER (breast the size of a thigh) and the side of fettuccini was maybe 1/2 measured cup. Bland and no flavor. Salad was mostly rinds. Focaccia best part but still nothing special. Would never return even if a friend begged me. Waste of money and calories, but hey at least the portions were small enough we enjoyed dessert elsewhere. Disappointing night my daughter had really looked forward to.

Yelp
A friend and I visited Bella Italia when in town for an Olympic National Park trip (plus we had to check out the Italian restaurant from the Twilight books.. when in Rome and all that). We called and made a reservation beforehand. Although they did not answer the phone, I left a voicemail and they called me back confirming my reservation time. I'm so glad we made one as they were closed for walk ins that night! Once we arrived we were seated promptly. They currently have a limited menu due to COVID, which is understandable. We ordered a bunch of stuff to split and everything was delicious! The manicotti was so good- I loved the sauce they put on it. The mushroom ravioli was so flavorful- I loved the sauce. The chicken parm was a super large portion and also tasted delicious. I definitely left full and satisfied. Our server was very kind and helpful. She even called me after we left and I left my credit card there accidentally. Overall, we had a great experience here and would definitely be back in the future if ever in the area again.

Yelp
As the only Italian place in port Angeles, I want to like this place but it's just not good. Such a cute little place downtown but the food is not great. We recently gave them a second try. Our first try was not good but hey things happen I was in the restaurant business a long time so I'm always down to give another go. The onions in the marinara sauce are crunchy. Gross.. you're supposed to cook them down first not sure what's going on there. Bruschetta bread not toasted enough so very soggy but decent flavor. Fettuccine Alfredo was bland needs more salt. Wedge salad was good but could use more things on it maybe onions bacon etc. just a hunk of lettuce w Gorgonzola dressing and a few nuts. Server was very nice but he looked like he just rolled in off the street and started taking tables . No apron just in normal street clothes it was kind of odd. But whatever I'm there for the food not their outfit lol. But the food was weird and not good. Drive to todescos in sequim if you want Italian!

Yelp
Wow. I don't know what I was expecting, but I don't think this was it. Hands down the best food I've had in a long while! Due to COVID, you can only sit at one of the three tables outside and from what I understood, reservations are pretty much a must. Because of all the phone orders, the service was a little slow, but she was so freaking nice, and the food was more than worth the wait. Because we were doing an all things twilight weekend, we had to stop. Mushroom ravioli and coke were had, as well as the Chicken Parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo. It was amazing. So. Freaking. Good. The Alfredo sauce was the best I've ever had. We will for sure be going back for date night when they open all the way again!

Yelp
Would give 0 stars if I could Our group of 3 arrived ~7:20PM without reservations. We put down our name and was told they would get us in at 8PM. We came back at 8 and was then told it'd be another 5 minutes before the table was ready. After 15 minutes, a hostess we talked to previously asked if we had been helped and then quickly realized we had spoken with her before. From that point onwards, every hostess sort of ignored us and refused to make eye contact. By 8:30PM, another group of 3 WITHOUT RESERVATIONS was seated before us. I hope this blatant disrespect wasn't racially (we are Asian + Mexican) motivated. We were really pumped to be visiting as Twilight fans, but this left a bad taste. DO NOT VISIT

Yelp
We visited here this weekend ie Oct mid weekend '21. Good service and good food. I really wish I could rate them at a 4 star - hopefully next time! So we were visiting the Olympic national park for 2 days with little research and hence were quite tight for most of the sightseeing. I came to know about this twilight famed restaurant but only realized on the last morning ie Sun morn of our stay that they take reservations and are only open 4pm to 9pm thurs to Sun. I tried calling them at around 11 am, the calls went to voicemail which suggested to leave a message with phone number for reservations, and so I did. At around mid-afternoon I got a call back from them and they said they had a few slots open at flexible times. I was happy to have found a table for 2 that evening for 7:30pm. So we reached the area around 7ish, parked in a free street parking just a block away and walked to the restaurant. The staff were three ladies, and one among them was Kim(also our server for the night) was very cheerful, social and welcoming. We were asked to wait by another lady staff at the front desk, till they cleaned and arranged a table for us. While we waited, a gentleman without any reservation showed up and he was not seated. But then in just another moment, a party of two young ladies came in without any reservation again, and they were allowed in - in fact they were seated few minutes before us as well. ( just noting my observations here, no judgements!) Anyhoo, so we were seated about 5ish minutes after these two young ladies. We ordered the following: 1. Primavera veggie pasta: my rating: 3.6/5 This was actually mostly well made, but lacked some seasoning. I kept wondering what was it missing all the time as I ate it. It was served with a very generous portion of the pasta, but the ratio of veggie to pasta was very small ( though it may not appear so in the picture I have attached) . I had told the server I was a fan of veggies and they could go all in an throw a lot of them in. However the result was I was eating a lot of the pasta without the seasoning and very little veggies in each bite which I wasnt very pleased with. However the sauce had a sour after taste which I really liked. As the portions were huge, I took the leftovers back to my airbnb. In the morning I heated it up, put some garlic powder and onion salt generously and there appeared the hidden potential of this dish. It became much more yummy then :) 2. Alfredo fettucine: my rating: 3.5/5 Taste wise this was also a good dish. The alfredo sauce was overpowered with a very thick cheesy texture and it would have worked better for us if it were a little runny. We added chicken to the dish for $7, and that saved the day for us. The chicken was soft, well cooked and seasoned well. 3.Contorno: my rating: 3/5 So I ordered this side dish because it mentioned this new type of mushroom that I have never had. Otherwise it was just a mix of sweet corn with their sweet walla walla onions sauted in butter, and I wouldnt have ordered it for $8. When it arrived, it tasted good. However the quantity was quite small and unfortunately we couldnt find any mushrooms. I kept looking for it in each bite, wondering if it had been grated extremely fine or cut very small with just a few pieces thrown here and there( latter was the case with some button mushrooms in the primavera pasta we ordered). However it was nowhere to be seen ( or detected in the taste, as I eat the corn-butter saute a lot at home and outside. ) We had already waited a lot, had a very early flight and so did not want to return the dish and wait for them to hopefully bring us one with the mushroom. However I did mention it to the server that the menu specifically mentioned mushrooms. She told us very sweetly that the chef might have chopped it too fine, and again I had no energy or time to comment any further on the 1 missing ingredient out of only 3 main ones on the side dish! All in all, I rate the restaurant at a 3.5/5 for food itself and 4/5 for the service. Probably a 2/5 for the wait time and the missing mushrooms! We liked that the place was peaceful, with good ambience, lighting and light music. The service was good too, except our food took very long ( more than half an hour) to come to the table, which was quite the wait after a long day of hikes in the rainy Olympic peninsula. Kim did come to us almost when the wait was getting excruciating to empathize about the delays. It was also not hugely crowded in the 7-9pm window when we were there, which was good in general. If the food was a little more perfect I would definitely have given them a stronger rating :)
