The 13 Best Restaurants In Troy, New York - Troy - The Infatuation

"This classic Italian bakery makes excellent pastries. We love all of their cannolis, but especially the ones with limoncello flavoring. They also have a few regional specialties, like the half moon (an upstate NY take on the black and white cookie) and radio bars, which are sort of like packaged snack cakes if they were made by actual bakers and not machines. We’ve never had a sweet treat we didn’t love from Bella Napoli, but the sleeper hit is actually their french dip sandwich. The roast beef is very thin, the bread is soft on the inside and crusty on the outside, and we would happily drink the jus like it was a cup of coffee." - carina finn koeppicus

Atmosphere was AMAZING absolutely gorgeous the service was pretty decent but the food was absolutely terrible. Wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. I ordered the carbonara while my husband ordered one of the signature dishes and we hated it. No seasoning, couldn’t even taste the bacon in the carbonara how does that even happen?? Anyways i would definitely suggest renting this space out if you want a party or something just bring your own food. Even the lemonade tasted horrible here. Again the people seem nice and the atmosphere is great perfect for a date or event but i sure hope they change whatever’s going on in the kitchen. This has potential of being a great spot.

Came here for my wifes birthday. I must say this review is personally for our server Mara i hope i spelled it correctly. She specifically alone deserves 10/10 star. I never felt taken care of personally like family and not a customer. Kind warm and an absolute awesome human being. Now to the restaurant, extremely clean and spacious. Prices are extremely reasonable and my god the portions need a warning sign. They are huge. Food was lights out amazing, seafood tasted fresh and not like the ocean. I rarely dine Consistently at the same restaurant but this place won me over big time

Finally got around to write this review I had a small wedding and reception back in May in their private event room it was AMAZING! Sal was so amazing to work with and helpful to us during planning. On the day of the staff (Michelle and I can’t remember the gentleman’s name) were so great and they were so attentive to my husband and I during the party. All my guests had a blast and loved the food! I would deff have an event here again! 🎉🎉

Google
Hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here last Friday. Had a beautiful semi-private room that was perfect size for our party (30 people). Service was great. We were attended to at all times! Food was excellent. My wife and I had previously dined here to try it out before our rehearsal dinner and I was nervous the quality might not translate to a bigger party, but they did not disappoint. Best bruschetta and calamari I’ve ever had for an appetizer, followed by some elite penne vodka for pasta, and the chicken francese, eggplant and veal Marsala for the main course were solid. Some great cannolis and sfogiatelle to finish it all off. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some Italian food and/or hosting a bigger event without breaking the bank to do it!

Google
They hosted our daughters college graduation from Montclair university and she has always wanted her dinner her and everything the restaurant provided was amazing !

Google
We celebrated a friend’s 50th birthday here and had a great time. The table service was great and the food was delicious. It was cool that there was another party in the next hall and we couldn’t even tell.

Google
Really cute place for a lovely romantic evening with your partner. Our server was wonderful, she was quick and attentive. Restaurant was clean and had a warm and welcoming ambiance. Food was great, I enjoyed my chicken with vegetables and salad. Their pasta was too aldente for me and i thought the serving size was too small. But we enjoyed our food and our time here, I would recommend this place.

Google
We just had my brother-in-laws surprise birthday here last night and let me tell you, everything was a 20/10. The owner Sal is the best to work with and very attentive. His entire staff was amazing. We had Michelle as our host for the party and I can’t say enough good things about her. The food was phenomenal! They give you a ton of food and everything was amazing. We had the vodka pasta, bolognese, salmon, eggplant rollantini, chicken francese and apps. Their vodka sauce is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I went here for a K of C Dinner, which was a group dinner so I can't speak for how the service or food is in the main dining room. That being said, our servers were friendly and accommodating. The antipasti we had were great, the bread was good, and our main entrees, which consisted of chicken, salmon, and beef were tender and juicy. They were served family style so we just pass the plates around. We were in one of the banquet rooms and it was bright. I definitely need to try this place out again.

Yelp
Cane for a repass and the funeral ended early so we got here early and they were ready for us. The food was great as always and staff was very friendly The place is very nice and very friendly

Yelp
I think this place could be better if a little more effort was put in. It's very average ambiance. Put some candles on the table, & get more comfortable chairs for a start. Redo the bathroom. Place seems rundown to me. I have been 2x in the past year. One for a party and once for dinner. The food is good, but not great. I think they give generous portions, but it's not high quality food. Most of the people I was with enjoyed their food. I eat organic and clean so this might have been why I had an issue. Another issue was we ordered cranberry and club soda. It tasted like plain cranberry to me. I think their seltzer or club soda is flat. I thought the service was great! We had a big party and the waitress could not have been more attentive and kind. The bus boy was also incredible! All in all it's a good place that definitely has potential to be better with a few fixes.

Yelp
Celebrating a 88th birthday with family this is the very go to place for family celebrations. We love the service ,the ambience and the wonderful delicious food.

Yelp
Parking. Very spacious restaurant. Good service. I ordered the tortellini entree, it lacked seasoning. But the seafood linguine and shrimp scampi entrees were good. Nice family restaurant.

Yelp
Food is good Service a little slow took awhile for the food to come out Atmosphere is nice

Yelp
My family are regulars here but somehow I have never been. Came here for the first time on New Year's Day and understand why they love it so much. The place itself is really nice and the Christmas decor was very pretty. The service was amazing. Our family has a favorite waiter, Marcos, and he is incredible. The food is great. The mozzarella carrozza appetizer was so good. I had the chicken parm and it was also very good. The portions are so big and it was perfect. Had the apple crisp for dessert and it was also great. Will definitely be back here much more!

Yelp
Bella Napoli is a main stay whenever I visit friends in Bloomfield. The food is always delicious no matter what you choose. The service is always friendly where they treat you like family. But like with all things, new menus mean new prices. but no rush, you're in for a relaxing evening.

Donna R.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent. A wedding was going on so we ate in the lounge. Brittany as great ! I had the chicken Saltinbacca and the sauce was good but I'd prefer a brown gravy instead of the presented red sauce. My husband had the chicken Valentino which he enjoyed .

Yelp
I went here for a family members birthday and had a great time! Pros: - lots of parking - it was practically empty when we went - VERY affordable! Dinner for 6 people was ~$160 before tip - friendly staff - Food was delicious! We mainly ordered pastas and one seafood dish, so I can only speak to that, but it was very flavorful and had large portions. Cons: - it's a casual vibe, but the chairs are made of plastic and were quite uncomfortable to sit on - the lighting was flashing most of the night. I think they wanted to dim them but it was more of a stark flashing instead of a gradual dim I would go back again!

Yelp
Wonderful Italian gem. Walked in on a Saturday late afternoon and seated promptly. Everything was wonderful from the ambiance, decor, staff, menu and taste of food. I ordered a sea food pasta dish and it was so delicious. I'm looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Parking was somewhat limited, but ample street parking was available. My group of eight enjoyed our time chatting over drinks and food. The waitress did her best with our large party, though there were some issues. At times, when one friend tried to place an order, the waitress would walk away. When we wanted to order something new or ask for the check, it was challenging to find someone to assist us. One of my friends had to call over another server to get our bill. The restaurant's interior has a dark aesthetic, which didn't appeal to my friends who prefer brighter, more colorful settings. However, I found the gloomy look and intimate lighting fitting. The food was generally enjoyable, though there were a few issues: the pasta was slightly overcooked, and one part of the chicken had too much pepper. The calamari was tough and overcooked, though its Italian/Asian flavor combination was a good choice. Additionally, they provided only one basket of bread for our group of eight.

Yelp
Went with a group of friends and all of us were happy with our food choices. We had a large round table for 8 and were very comfortable. The service was impeccable. It was our first visit and we will return again soon.

Grace R.

Yelp
Excellent authentic food! Such great flavors and generous portions. Servers were attentive, kind and swift in addressing our needs. There were multiple parties happening so it got a little noisy but we still had a great time and appreciated the staff and delicious food! Definitely plan to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful place! Been there several times yet not enough. The service was spot on at the table and bar area. Their food was seriously amazing! The bruschetta. Omg so simple yet delicious. I could have had that as my meal lol! The chicken franchise was great and my favorite was the macaroni w vodka sauce. Just wow! Wish I would've taken pix but too excited! Looks like we'll have to go back and SOON!

Sandy T.

Yelp
Great food and ambience, both in bar and in restaurant. Only negative is acoustics are bad when crowded. Difficult to hear.

Yelp
I came to this place for a private event. It was for a baby shower. The room was set up very nicely and it was perfect because it had the doors that led to the outdoor area if you wanted to go out there. The service was amazing. The servers were very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. I witnessed them being extremely helpful to the hosts and accommodating them when needed. The appetizers were so good hence why there isn't a pic of them. They were gone so quick amongst our table of 6. Then they served us two different pastas. Both were tasty! The protein came next. They had salmon, chicken, and sausage. The sausage was the best in my opinion. The salad they brought out was also delicious. They served us desserts which were also gone as quick as they came. Overall a great experience and would recommend based on my experience as a guest for a private event.

Dennis R.

Yelp
Had dinner tonight at Bella Napoli. They were busy with a private party. That said, their approach to customers is not good. They make you feel like they challenge ypu to eat there. Which is well protected by their "tip is included" policy. Been going for years. I won't be back...nor will my clients that I've been bringing in from out of town. When you embarass a customer to save yourself, you've lost the concept of customer service.

Yelp
My first impression of Bella is: Park on the street. Street parking is plentiful and free, so you're not fighting into a crowded lot to pay. Inside, ambiance is scattered. The bar is dark and loud and small, so our group completely overwhelmed it and I had to bail. It's in front of one dining area and I found several different dining areas all not connected. The best ambiance is one larger room with maybe a private space or two. Breads were on our tables when I entered the event space. Meh at the regular rolls (too crusty, which has been mentioned in other reviews), but yay for the slices of garlic infused focaccia. It's nice and soft, perfectly flavored albeit a tad bit oily. Before our presentation there was very frequent table service to remove or refill food and water. Frequent, but they didn't always understand what I was trying to say (more water please, no we don't need more appetizer). They then brought out pasta - weird to see as an appetizer we spoon to ourselves - but perfectly al dente. The vodka and meat sauces were both very nice, though a little on the sweet side (no vodka note in the sauce). Best part was they brought second plates when another person sat down so we got more pasta! And then nothing. For a solid half hour. That's not good. I heard the staff laughing in the back room during our presentation. Finally the dinner plates started coming out, again just a serve yourself. There was not nearly enough salad for a table (1/4 lb total?). Overall this is not a great way to run an event. As for dinner food: Sausages were a heavy plate volume, very nice meat but the red pepper gave away the weakness of the sauce. Chicken (francese?) was the most popular at the table but my mom makes better and she's not Italian. Salad was very unimpressive, a variety of wilted greens in regular oil and vinegar. After the presentation came dessert. Not enough for each person to take one of each. Of course. The sfogliatelle (the fact I know that word tells you something) was heavy and drenched in some flavor but not what I want - crispy and light. The cannoli was fine. Small but crispy and sweet. In the end, food is reasonably good, ambiance needs work, service is good but the shared plate idea just really doesn't work for me. I'm not coming to another event here based on this experience, sorry.

Yelp
Came here for a repass on 11/2 & the food was an experience! I had in house made pasta with meatballs & sausage. They provided ricotta & Parmesan cheese. The calamari & garlic cheese bread were a tasteful delight. The staff was beyond courteous & the bathrooms were clean & spacious. Also plenty of parking. Everything was cooked to perfection. Shout out to out waiter Nick!

Yelp
To start off the waiter was very nice and informative with good choices . We were a table of 4 and started off with Mozzarella En Carozza and Clams Oreganata . Mozzarella was delicious however the clams weren't my fav . The breading was heavy and couldn't really taste any of the clams. We did wait a long period between apps and dinner .For Dinner I ordered Linguini Mala Femmina which was delicious. And also tried the vodka rigatoni and that was outstanding . Full of flavor . We also got Sangria which was good too . Then for desert I got the cheesecake with choice of chocolate and raspberry topping . Both very good . I would definitely recommend this location and would come back . Thank you to the waiter for his outstanding service and apologizing for the long wait time .

Yelp
This place is an icon in the heart of Bloomfield New Jersey, if you want good Italian food from scratch here's where you go! We started out with the mozzarella en carraza which was so amazing and cheesy! A must order for sure, we washes the cheese down with some tasty old fashions! My friend ordered the stuffed shells and she loved them! I got the linguini with meatballs, so tender and the sauce was amazing I want to try the whole menu and you should too !

Yelp
Went to a show at the Wellmont theater and gave this place a try. Its not upscale and the prices are extremely reasonable. Your not going to find any exotic ingredients or high end type of ingredients but it was a large menu, the food was cooked to order, hot and fresh. I was actually fairly impressed with the portions and pricing. If your seated in the booth areas. It can be an issue if your thinner/smaller. The table itself doesnt move so your gonna feel a bit far from the plate/table. We had the traditional fried calamari and clams oreganata for starters. Both were good and would definitely order them again. Entrees I did the encrusted dijon salmon which came with a red potato cut into quarters. And a few grilled asparagus spears .. and we also ordered the Bone In Broiled veal chop which came with good helping of mushrooms in a marsala wine style sauce Entree had choice of ziti and sauce. Or side salad. We did the salads. They did come dressed with quite a bit of dressing. I probably had 1/4 cup of oil/vinegar on the bottom. Our Particular waitress didnt seem to be particularly happy. Other than that. This place is absolutely worth visiting

Yelp
Very delicious and thrilling food the chicken fingers and the fries were cooked well and tasted very outstanding also the Shirley Temple tasted very delicious. The staff were also very kind and nice. The music was very great too.

Alan S.

Yelp
We are big fans of Bella. Great food, especially nice staff too! Fish dishes are excellent, as well as pasta dishes. A very comfortable atmosphere to enjoy comfort food. We like close so are regulars there. Salad or pasta comes with many of the main courses, and their salad dressing is great. Strong recommendation...

Yelp
You're going to really like it here. The food is fantastic and servings are big. The place is really beautiful with old family photos on the wall and a really wonderful vibe. For appetizers, we got the sauteed broccoli rabe & a hot antipasto. I recommend both with all of my heart. Oh my god they were great. The broccoli rabe was crunchy still and perfectly flavorful. I The hot antipasto had stuffed mushrooms (wow), artichoke, clams oreganata, and other wonderful bites. For my entree I got the snapper and while it was delicious, it came with just a side salad. If I'd realized there was really no sides that came with it (or any of the entrees) we would have made sure to order some more sides or appetizers to come with our dinners. It was not my favorite to just eat fish alone, no matter how great it tasted. That is one big note for anyone dining here that might agree! Definitely order some stuff to go on the table along with your dinners. Anddddd dessert! I got a hot coffee and our table got the cheesecake, lemon sorbet and the cannoli. After such a big and heavy dinner, the lemon sorbet stole the show for me. It was delicious, so tasty and so light. The cheesecake wasn't too sweet and neither was the cannoli, which was really great. All three made for the perfect end to a great meal. I think for 4 people (who all got a lot of food and at least one drink each) the bill came out to about $200. I came in with some family on a Monday night and could not believe how busy it was. I think there was a very big private party in the other room, but even with that it didn't feel crowded, just loud. But boy was it loud... On top of the radio with great music playing, there was a woman playing the drums in the other room. One or the other would have been so great, but both was a bit chaotic. But besides that, the atmosphere was fantastic. I could see coming here for a special occasion or just a casual dinner.

Franco D.

Yelp
Are you kidding me . You call this Italian food. Did you guys ever tried DIVINA RESTAURANT IN CALDWELL or LA ROCCA IN MONTCLAIR that's Italian. I'm sorry I hate to criticize but the food was not good everything was overcooked and no taste .

Maria M.

Yelp
Came here for an event. Food was terrible. Chicken francese was thick and uneven, no flavor and watery sauce, veal marsala was not really a marsala sauce and flavorless, the penne vodka also had no flavor and tasted as if they used stale cream in the sauce. Coffee was weak and cold, soda was flat. Shame they even call this an Italian restaurant.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch today with My Guy. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant. I ordered the Veal Valentino and he had the Veal Parmesan. Both lovely dishes. The veal Valentino was tasty but it seemed to be lacking the ham and cheese it was supposed to be stuffed with. When you use the word "stuffed" it should be filled to the brim with said "stuffing". Still tasty and nice portion size. They have the same menu for dinner and lunch so I'm assuming the portion sizes are the same. Which is nice, but less expensive and smaller portions for lunch would be appreciated. An overall nice dining experience.

Karen B.

Yelp
Bella Napoli is my favorite Italian restaurant. The food is prepared to perfection, the ambiance is both beautiful and comforting and the staff is friendly. Love every experience here...it never disappoints!

Yelp
Overall good experience here. People at work have had nothing but great things to say about this place. Reviews have been mixed, so I haven't been to n a rush to stop in. Had folks in from out of town and we were looking for someplace close by and given the strong reviews by my coworkers, we stopped in. The server Michelle was great. She did a great job the entire night. It was clear that she is a favorite of many of the regulars. Started the meal with their version of a Mule made with a Vanilla vodka. I then jumped in the Encrusted Salmon. The salmon had Dijon Mustard on it and came with a couple of giant spears of asparagus and a few potatoes. The salmon and the veggies were both very good. Glad to see this was better than the reviews lead me to believe.

Yelp
Found this little Gem in Bloomfield two years ago on a recommendation. Was only here 2 times since. Tonight we decided to go back since we were in Bloomfield. Restaurant has nice decor and the atmosphere is welcoming. They also have rooms to have parties in. Peeked inside one... very nice. Bar area is also pretty cool looking. Might have to come back just to have drinks. Service was phenomenal... Asked our waiter (Dominick, who BTW was awesome) for a recommendation on a red wine. He suggested the house blend which was excellent... (had 3 glasses). I always trust a waiter who suggests an item and it comes out good. Especially when it's reasonably priced. So we started with the following appetizers. Caesar Salad which was very crisp and dressing was perfect. Mozzarella en Carozza was pretty good too. My daughter... the soup Nazi (as you all know if you read my posts.. only orders soup) ordered the Tortellini soup , which was exceptional. The broth was outstanding. Tortellini was cooked perfectly, not mushy like most soups. She loved it. Definitely try this soup!!! Dinners I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo with clams and mussels over linguini. Excellent!!! Excellent!! Excellent!! Yes 3 times!! Lol Sauce was delicious and not to spicy . Perfect My hubs ordered Sautéed Steak with pan fried onions, peppers, mushrooms and potatoes. (med rare) Steak came out.. looked fantastic. Was slightly over cooked. Dominick immediately rectified the issue. Sal (Owner/Manager) also came over to speak with us. New steak was perfectly cooked.. tender and flavorful. Coffee and Ice Cream for dessert. I can honestly say.... I watched the waiters/waitresses during the evening and was extremely impressed at the constant attention given to each table. Sal ( Owner/Manager) was all over the restaurant speaking with each patron. He was also clearing tables too!! What a class act. I love when a restaurant makes you feel comfortable. Kudos to both Sal and Dominick!!! They made our night!

Audrey C.

Yelp
Go to dinner here and we are never dissatisfied... decided to have my daughter's shower here and we were just so happy... the owner Sal was wonderful to work with. The staff was amazing. 85 people and they nailed everything. It was the perfect shower. The food was deeeelish.

Yelp
In a competitive Northern NJ Market the food was ok . Service slow, w asidero nice but disorganized . Chairs for seating were cheap plastic they usually are used for outdoor seating. Interior was nice but chairs destroyed the atmosphere. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Even problem getting bread at table that wasn't stale. Bright note my dessert was great and homemade Italian pastries.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
This is your go to for drinks and appetizers. The interior is very nice. Patrons are smiling and I'm thinking the food has to be good. Well well!! It was a hot evening and I wanted a sparkling cocktail without vodka. Bartender suggested Prosecco, muddled mint, and juice. Sounds great until it arrived to my table with one piece of chopped mint floating in my flute. No muddling happen! Just juice and flat Prosecco. Next drink wine and appetizers. Bruschetta was a small portion salad on toasted bread. Reminded me of a Horiatiki salad, instead of feta it's mozzarella. It was great! Calamari tasted like it was cooked with pork and there were small scales on them. That went all the way back to the kitchen. Entrees I'm going to keep it simple. Broiled snapper with salad and surf and turf with ziti. Can I have some snapper with my sauce please.? Lobster was not broiled enough and under seasoned. The steak was a bad cut full of fat. The ziti was swimming in oil with the crunch of potato chips. Christine was the best. Her and the staff deserve 5 stars. Everyone was very attentive!!

Yelp
I was in the area attending a cocktail party and we decided to stop in since the venue was along the way home, so it was a spur of the moment decision. Bella Napoli has been around forever and is a a very inviting environment with an old school flair. We started with Caesar Salad and some appetizers like the Artichokes which were fine. Because I never ate here before I had something simple which was the Fettuccine with Marinara and Meatballs and the sauce was somewhat bitter and not very good. It was not spaghetti with meatballs but fettuccine which I thought was weird, and so I probably would not order the same again. Our waitress was very nice and helpful with the selection of appetizers and I got the feeling she has worked there for quite some time. Her personal service was great and attention to detail very good. It was a Wednesday night (5/31/23) and the place was fairly empty on this post Memorial Day weekend. They do have a bar area and the place is fairly large. Overall, the food was average and maybe it was the selection. Given the plethora of choices in this heavily concentrated area of Italian restaurant choices, Bella Napoli would not be a top tier choice, but I would try again nevertheless unless the experience was completely undesirable which was not the case. Bella Napoli seems to have a strong following, and if in the area again would consider and take a harder look at the menu.

Yelp
Went here during covid with a group of friends. For drinks we ordered the fig sangria and Mango sangria. LOVED the fig sangria, mango sangria was average. We were able to fill five glasses with a pitcher of sangria Appetizers we ordered the mozzarella sticks, stuffed mushroom and arugula salad. Would highly recommend their arugula salad, very fresh and the dressing was this light lemony flavor. Mozzarella sticks were slightly chewy/ oily for my liking- wouldn't recommend them. Stuffed mushroom was mushroom stuffed with bread crumbs, would give it 7/10. For entree, we ordered multiple entrees and decided to split it. We ordered all of their vegetarian food. Their vodka sauce pasta was buttery and perfectly flavored, very delicious! Eggplant parm was very average, had an egg-y taste, I didn't like it. Overall, great service with plenty of outdoor seating and private parking lot. We were able to share all of the food, and their entrees are large portions.

Yelp
Good food, friendly staff, nice decor. Solid place and always busy. I'll be back for sure. The best Shrimp Scampi I've ever had.
google avatar

Kara F.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and the food was delicious both times! They have excellent chicken parm and their salad and chocolate cake were also delicious it's a very popular spot so it's nice to come on a weekday when it's less crowded. The service was excellent and restaurant was cute. The only negative is that the bathrooms could really use some updating.
google avatar

INDIA O.

Yelp
Had lunch with Colleagues. The food is great, service was excellent and the restaurant is really pretty. Service was fast, quick, and attentive. I wish my Chicken Marsala was a bigger portion. 2 pieces of small chicken breast was no bueno. Their tiramisu is delicious. My colleagues had the fettuccine and loved it. I will return with my family.
google avatar

Dana P.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant several times because the woman that chooses it likes it. I can say I am consistently disappointed. I find this restaurant to be over priced, exceptionally loud and a bit chaotic. First example is the twin lobster tails. $48.00 this includes the two tails and a choice of side salad OR side pasta. It was overcooked, very dry and too rubbery to enjoy. For that much money they should provide a full entre, ie include a vegetable. My friend ordered scampi. While the plate it was served on was beautiful, six shrimp NOT on a bed of pasta for $23+ is inexcusable for an Italian Restaurant.
google avatar

Al M.

Yelp
From the decor, to the wine to the food and staff this place is a home run! Food is fantastic with pricing to match! Highly recommended!!

Emily Z.

Yelp
Yummy pasta and good size portions. It was large enough for two meals - one at the restaurant and one to bring home. Service was friendly and attentive to our requests.

Ashley D.

Yelp
I must say I have been here for a bridal shower and for a baby shower. Each time I had to utilize street parking which is slightly inconvenient when walking in heels carrying presents. However, the food was average. I would go and experience a dinner here rather than an event to give an accurate review for the food and service. Throughout both celebrations, staff seemed appropriately attentive. At the time of each event I was not drinking alcoholic drinks to give an accurate review but I will be going back to experience the full service. The food was good and I recommend hosting events here as long as you're ok with the parking situation.

Yelp
Could not have asked for a better experience at Bella Napoli. Our family of 9 went for lunch this past Tuesday - the restaurant is spotlessly clean. The service is excellent. The food is incredible. We started with stuffed mushrooms, a salad, mozzarella sticks and broccoli with garlic sauce. The food came quickly and our waitress was wonderful. Everything was delicious. Afterwards, our table got a mix of entrees ranging from chicken francese, chicken parm to grilled chicken with escarole. Everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say. Highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. Delicious food in a safe, comfortable space.

Yelp
Ok I have been known to eat things that are not so great because I was hungry. And I've become accustomed to hospital cafeteria food to the point where I think "oh, this isn't half bad." So when I say this is some of the worst food I've ever had I don't think I'm exaggerating. To start off with, the bread was extremely hard and difficult to eat. Not in a "this is a nice crusty loaf of French bread" but in a "this was sitting out for three days" bad. I ordered the lasagna, which I really thought you couldn't mess up. I was wrong. There was so much ground hamburger in the dish I thought I was eating a hamburger and not lasagna. The red sauce was sweet, and there were barely any noodles. It was essentially eating a block of cheese and meat. I would not come here again and would not recommend this place to anyone. There are a million other decent Italian restaurants around here. Also the service was pretty slow and it was loud in the restaurant.

Yelp
I bowled with a bunch of ladies weekly and we have had our annual end of season luncheon at the Bella Napoli for the past three years. Food dishes are generally delicious and the staff attentive, though the couple of times my husband and I went for dinner, it was off and we were disappointed.

Yelp
$20+ dollars for chicken Parm. It consisted of 1/2 a chicken breast the size of my hand. Smallest portion of chicken Parm I've ever seen. Shouldn't do that to people. It's a joke. Very sad.
