My free advice to you is, go visit this beautiful farm and support their business, they're dog friendly farm. They have my favorite peach jam and garlic & onion hazelnuts. The lady at the farm store is friendly and helpful. They also have cute farm animals. The sunflower field is heavenly. Take lots of pictures. My husband and I enjoyed our visit there. 🌻🌻🌻

I was a lucky giveaway winner for 4 haunted corn maze tickets . I went on Halloween night and had such a blast ! So much fun . Actors in the maze were awesome. They had food and drinks and music and fire places and it was awesome. 10/10

Google
The farm looks great — the setup, the vibe, the whole spooky aesthetic is on point. But let’s be real… for the price, it’s just not adding up. You can go to Oaks Park and get three massive haunted houses, a scary market, front-of-the-line VIP, and unlimited rides — all for less than what this place charges for a single night out. And honestly? After reading the farm’s responses to people’s Google reviews, I’d say maybe avoid altogether. You’re running a business that people are paying good money for — if you can’t handle honest feedback without getting defensive, that’s a red flag. The world’s hard enough right now without customers being talked down to because the owners can’t take criticism with a little grace. If you can’t offer friendly, family-based service and make it worth the cost, maybe try something else. People want fun, not attitude. 👻🎃 At the end of the day, if your customer service is scarier than your haunted house, that’s the real horror story. 💀

8-2025 response to farm response...I didn't say in my review I was a u-pick customer. I came to u-pick until I saw the price and learned it was necessary to take a bus to the field. I was however a customer and purchased some tomatoes at the farm stand. Your sign says $5 per u-pick customer. Whether or not you are actually charging people. I am simply passing along what I learned when visiting. 7-2025 Not great for u-pick blueberry picking. Nice farm store with friendly staff and clean bathrooms. As for the blueberries, it is $7/lb for u-pick and you have to take a bus to get there. Also good to know is that everyone pays a $5 fee to u-pick and the $5 is a credit towards what you pick. Of course you don’t know if you like the picking when you pay this. Since u-pick blueberries are $2.50 or so per pound around my house and you can purchase pre-picked berries at the farmers market for $6 for 12 oz. , I would never u-pick here. If you just want a fun outing on the island it might be worth it for you.

We really wanted to love this farm and support their human rights for all theme for this year. However, we left feeling extremely disappointed. The corn maze was the only enjoyable experience for us. We loved that there was a map provided and things to search for and find throughout the maze, rather than just aimlessly wandering through another corn maze. 5 stars for the corn maze, but that's all. We went to get lunch after the maze and the food is horrible. The gyros were wrapped in a cold tortilla and the fillings were bland and cold as well. The burger was dry. The chicken strips and curly fries were cold. I appreciate the staff trying to have things ready to go, but I'd personally rather wait a little bit for fresh, warm food, especially on cooler rainy day. I will say their apple cider is delicious, but not redeeming enough to make up for everything else. I don't expect 5 star food at a farm, but at the very least, hot food. Next we took the hayride out to the pumpkins. This was definitely the most frustrating part our trip. There are no carts or wagons available in the field! You have to carry your pumpkins by hand. Coming as a family with children, I don't understand this at all. I've never experienced this at any other farm in Oregon. Carts are readily available and free everywhere else. So I decided to not get a pumpkin solely based on the fact that my husband and I had to carry my kids chosen pumpkins because we weren't going to tell them no at this point. Once back at the main area, we went to try and get a cart since all the carts are up at the check out area. We figured at least we wouldn't have to carry them all the way to car since we had to park pretty far out. You have to pay for a cart and only get money back if you spend a certain amount on pumpkins!! And since I didn't get a pumpkin because I'm not an octopus that can carry a bazillion muddy pumpkins, we fell short of the amount needed to get our money back. Absolutely offputting and that alone is the reason I would not return or recommend this farm to anyone, especially not to families with children. Almost $200 when all said and done between the maze, food and drink, pumpkins, and the stupid cart. Not worth it.

Visiting Bella Organics Farm was a fun experience! The entry to the farm area is free, and you can walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. However, there are plenty of fun activities you can pay for, like the corn maze or haunted corn maze, face painting, hay rides, and more. There’s also a beer and wine garden if you want to relax and enjoy a drink. The food options were great — I had a burger, and there’s plenty more to choose from, like kettle corn, caramel apples, and other treats. The farm has such a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a fall day trip with family, kiddos, or friends. Highly recommend! 🎃✨

Google
We were looking specifically for corn mazes and did their human rights maze and it was super fun! The price wasn’t bad at all and we spent a good few hours just exploring. Everyone working there was super nice, we didn’t do much else other than the corn maze but we did see a few palettes of pumpkins, the selection didn’t seem too vast though if you’re looking specifically for pumpkins.

Google
This review is specifically for the haunted maze experience. It was very easy to get tickets online, and I like the Fastpass feature that lets you go in at any time. The day we went it was quite rainy, so the ground is very soggy and muddy, and I recommend wearing boots and a good rainproof jacket as umbrellas are not allowed in the maze itself. Overall, we enjoyed the spooktacular sppoks and themes. We had plenty of screams, which is what we wanted and loved. The characters are not allowed to touch the customers, but they played their roles well. The only huge hitch in the giddy up was there is a clown character with a chainsaw. He came way too close to my daughter’s face and ears, which really upset her and scared her a level beyond. Even when she asked him to stop, he stayed close to her ears and face with the actual chainsaw. We recommend bringing ear plugs or ear muffs for noise dampening if you are sound sensitive. There were four characters with chainsaws in total throughout the maze, but the others backed off when they saw hands over ears. The clown is the only one who kept close. Aside from the clown with the chainsaw, we did enjoy ourselves in the spooktacular maze, and the delectable food and drinks. Highly recommend during Halloween season.

Yelp
We came the first weekend they were open for their pumpkin season and had a blast. We were the first ones to go out to their patch and it was assume to pick out our pumpkins, search through the patch and just enjoy the weather/season. We of course visited the store and the petting zoo. The pigs at the petting zoo were great and the staff running it was amazing to speak to. The corn maize looked awesome but neither of us were wanting to go through it. Bella Organic has a little bit for everyone which made this place a hit for us. The staff was also super friendly and ready for the season!

Yelp
The best farm around. My go to for berries, sunflowers, pumpkins and delicious produce! It's so cozy and easy to navigate. The corn maze always has an awesome message and the haunted maze is wildly popular

Yelp
Such a fun experience with the family! After getting into Portland decided to stop on our way back to St Helens to come pick some berries. The 4 of us shared a bucket and spent about 20 mins picking blueberries until we were too tired from the heat. Did have to wait a bit for the shuttle to pick us back up but prices were great for our lot of blueberries and they had a cute market inside with more fresh produce and products. Such a cute spot and glad we got to check it out. We at blueberries for the rest of the week.

Yelp
I am giving 5 stars due to the haunted maze and food. I have been going to this haunted maze every year for around 10 years now. It's so scary and so fun...definitely don't recommend for people who don't like jump scares. I'd caution from allowing teens and younger to go...one year, a teen boy with his friends was clutching onto my bf, crying in fear and hiding behind us (I was sad for him). I've been to multiple "haunted" Halloween activities in the Portland area and this one is my favorite. Price has gone up a ton in the last 10 years... I just paid $38 per person (tickets purchased online) and hope the increase has gone towards paying their actors more...they certainly deserve it. The food is also great...the loaded corn on the cob is my favorite. This year all their beers/ciders from the bar included a light up ice cube - solo cup drinks prices range from $10-$12

Yelp
A farm on Sauvie Island. We came here for the sunflower festival and it was tall and all different color sunflowers. It was nice to walk through. You get 2 stems with your admission which was $10, and then $3-$5 per stem after that. They had a produce market which had all local product. I actually bought a bag of coffee too can't wait to try. Staff was super nice. They had some food, there was face painting, corn maze and even duck racing. Also some farm animals. For the fall they have the pumpkin patch and it's very busy and popular.

Yelp
No matter the season, I always have a fantastic time at Bella Organic. But the fall is where they really shine - which is a big deal since summer there is gorgeous and full of delicious organic fruit. I just came back from the haunted maze and was exhaustedly entertained. They had a performer in the maze who was creeping along on the ground in a backbend before standing upright exactly behind me. My favorite actor was the corn head guy whose kernels merged into horrific messed up teeth the closer it got to his mouth. I wont even mention the roving chainsaw fellows who chase you around and who you can hear alongside terrifying screams somewhere in the maze. Anyway - great stuff. Well worth the price. I also got fresh cider, a kombucha squash and ate a delicious chicken wrap. Bella also gives a ton of funds back to their community and schools. Their annual corn maze design changes every year and are so on point. This yearʻs was "Human Rights for All". I canʻt love this place enough. Highly recommend.

Yelp
My cousins took us here during our Portland visit to them. It was actually super fun! I liked how admission is free, then you pay to do corn maze or whatever you'd like. The tractor ride to the pumpkin patch area is free! The corn maze was fun and had different variety of games you can choose from. A lot of different groups were playing that Saturday and it wasn't too difficult to find our way back. They also have some fall food like corn on the cob, apple cider (bottled cold) and hot, Elephant ear fried dough dessert, and more. I believe it's cash only for most food and activities. We did come later in the day, so I'm not sure if they had live music or entertainment earlier but that would be the cherry on top! Otherwise I really enjoyed it either way and it made for a memorable and fun Fall day with loved ones! Def recommend and the drive there is pretty with views of mountains in the distance.

Yelp
Bella Organic Farm is such an awesome spot and I highly recommend it if you'd like to go strawberry picking during summer. My family loved it! You get to spend time at the farm in nature picking organic strawberries! They also have farm animals such as chicken and goats along with a market section where you can purchase produce among other things.

Natalie B.

Yelp
We love going to Bella Organic every pumpkin season! They have the best food, jams, honey, produce and pumpkins! Self pick Pumpkins are priced based on size. You can catch a ride to the self pick pumpkin patches or just pick your favorites among the many bins full of pumpkins at the decorated entrance. They offer bathrooms, trollies to carry your pumpkins, and lots of photo opportunities. They are dog friendly! Check out the haunted maze at night, so scary and fun! Best kept secret is their apple cider, we buy two quarts at a time. So fresh and delicious cold or hot.

Jade J.

Yelp
Visited this place in 2025 on my trip to Portland. Loved that the corn maze was dog friendly! Bought some jams and butters and they taste delicious. Would recommend and come again. Well worth the price

Yelp
I like to come here each fall for the organic pumpkins, apples cider and pies. These are sold in the store. The farm is considered large with lots of pumpkins and other fruits in the summer. They have food stalls. Cash only for the food stall. Credit card accepted in the store. I support cash only, especially for smaller business - otherwise credit card companies makes the commissions. Each year the price has been going up so I hope the prices stops going up, or at least not so steeply. I took off a star because the strawberry u-pick was terrible. I went in 2023 and they barely had any strawberries left and what they did have were tiny ones with large seeds on them. I couldn't even fill up a regular 1/4 quart container and what I did pay for was too small and flavorless. You have to pay to go in to pick and pay for the containers. It was a waste of time to drive out to the farm, then walk out to the fields in the hot sun for nothing. They really shouldn't have advertised or even took people's money for the picking at that point.
google avatar

Frank R.

Yelp
Good variety of pumpkins. The maze is worth the money and admission to the farm is free. Drawback is that its cash only , so be prepared to pay for atm fees if you forget cash !

Kian L.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I attended the haunted corn maze on the last day it was open. It was muddy, but nothing we couldn't manage in our street shoes. The service was good. One of the scarers was kind enough to take a picture of us with another scarer when we asked. When it comes to the actual haunted part of the haunted corn maze, I would say it doesn't stand out much. There were a couple good scares but I didn't feel the terror that I was hoping for. There were around 6-8 "haunted" shed like structures we would walk through occasionally through the maze. A lot of them had predictable scares inside and were a little bit disappointing. There was a man with a chainsaw that chased my girlfriend around and it was pretty entertaining. The corn maze itself was a little disappointing. I was hoping for a longer, more intricate maze, but was dissatisfied when there were barely any other paths you could take to try to get lost and if there was it was usually just a loop that connected up with the rest of the maze. After the corn maze we purchased two apple ciders and an elephant ear. I was initially excited to purchase the elephant year because they offered the ability to add toppings to it and I had never seen that before. However when I went to order they informed me that they were not offering toppings. The elephant ear met my expectations but the apple cider was nothing exceptional. Also it is important to note that they only accept cash which could be a major inconvenience. Overall, the haunted maze was an ok experience if not a little overpriced.

Yelp
Huge selection of sauces, jams, honey, pickled veggies. Seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables. I know it's a bit early in the season for many things. They have a bunch of snack items, beer, wine and a great outdoor eating area which is perfect in the late spring and summer months. The grill is open limited hours and has some pretty good food. They have goats you can purchase food and feed for $1 per little tiny cup. Nice friendly employees. Today we went back and they had blueberries. We grabbed some hazelnuts and a couple other items to send in a care package to family.
google avatar

Sophia L.

Yelp
They have a farm store with fresh produce and a big wine and beer selection. In the fall, they have a corn maze, food vendors, and other fun fall activities. Such a great place to spend a weekend afternoon.
google avatar

Yelp
We checked the online growing & availability calendar and it's Heirloom tomato time at Bella Organic Farm and we didn't want to miss out this year. It's also the end of blueberry season so we wanted to get in on that too. We ended up purchasing a case of tomatoes, 2 boxes of blueberries, some fabulous purple garlic and beautiful fresh ginger. Well worth the trip!!! A beautiful ride out to Sauvie Island on a beautiful sunny day. It was a little crowded for a Thursday and lots of people with their kids in tow, were there for U-pick. The Farm store and the Courtyard (food & drink) were both open. We thought about getting a snack at the Courtyard but didn't see much that interested us but they had burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. Some of the better options like falafel, hummus, and gyros are only available part of the season, so we'll try again in the Fall when we come to pick out our pumpkins and try the caramel apples. The beer, wine and cider looked tempting but the kids running all over the place kinda quashed any idea of relaxing at a picnic table. Bella Organic Farm is actually one of a few farms out on the island and definitely worth a visit. In addition to all the fresh local veggies & fruit, the Farm Store also has fresh made pies, candies, local nuts, jams, honey, BBQ sauce, jars of pickled veggies, salad dressing, plus wine and cider. For the kids, there's rowdy barnyard gang that includes little goats, pigs, sheep, and a few brave chickens. Really cute to watch. Visiting the pumpkin patch in Fall is my favorite. Pumpkins everywhere and reasonably priced. There's a corn maze and a cow train with Fall food & drink for everyone. See you there in October!!!
google avatar

Alekhya V.

Yelp
We had a lot of fun for Easter. Their cow train ride and petting zoo are a fun attraction for kids. I look forward to going there for pumpkin patch as well!
google avatar

Blessie W.

Yelp
This was an *ok* farm. It has all of the essential pumpkin patch activities, but most of them are cash only. The tractor to get to a further portion of the patch is free and fun, though. I picked up a pumpkin spice cider ($10), which was lovely though.

Yelp
Wonderful farm on Sauvie Island with activities throughout the year! The Market, which is located in barm painted black with bright sunflowers, produce and Bella Organic products painted on the walls. It's vibrant and beautiful and definitely catches your eye. And of course it makes the perfect, colorful, selfie backdrop! The market is open all year long and is stocked with fresh organic produce plus a huge variety of items made from their products. Jams, BBQ sauce, salad dressing, pickled veggies, chocolate covered hazelnuts, hard cider, wine and lots of gorgeous farmer market baskets everywhere. Lots of frozen berries and pies plus freshly baked berry pies in individual and large sizes. Definitely pick one up, the Marionberry is my fave. Make sure to get one of their giant freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, too! Located next to the Market is a pen with piglets, frisky goats, and sheep who love being fed. While meant for the kiddies, aren't we all a little kid at heart? I spent a significant amount of time just smiling over the antics of these adorable barn animals, especially the goats. Spring kicks off with u-pick strawberries including the illustrious Hoods. It's fun to wander the strawberry fields and pick your own but the biggest and best berries seem to be in the pints and flats that have been picked and available for purchase in the Market. The summer brings on the blueberries, the bushes loaded with sweet berries. During Covid, they provide masks and gloves. As with the strawberries, you pay $4 for these items, a wristband and a bucket that you keep. The $4 then goes towards the price of the berries you pick, which gets weighed when you return from the fields. When the leaves start turning and Sauvie Island is basked in shades of yellow, red and orange, there is no better place to be on a Fall day. Bella's has a corn maze, pumpkin patch, apples and cider and other fun activities. On a sunny Autumn day it does get crowded, but that's part of the fun. Located just a few miles from the Sauvie Island Bridge, and just 20 minutes from downtown Portland, it's an easy and nice ride to a serene place that is so vastly different from Portland. A great and much needed escape, I am a frequent visitor and often take the ride just to enjoy the scenery and shop at the Market.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful staff and beautiful property. Came here as a final stop during my Furrever 40 Bday celebration on a bus. We ate charcuterie, drank wine and beer, and really enjoyed the property. We were very welcomed by the staff and treated so great. This was a fur party, and we were on a very happy and celebratory level when we arrived, again, we were so welcomed. Thank you Bella, for making my 40th so memorable and lovely!

Yelp
This is not The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island. I think many come here thinking that it is but you need to drive about a .25 mile down the road. I hate to do this to a hard working farmer but this was not a Carnival or County Fair. But expect to pay those kind of prices. The food was all pre made nothing made to order. So if you want a burger and who knows how long it has been sitting there stacked up high along with the gyros and fries be ready to pay $10. Most everything was about $10 along with the drinks and corn maze. The drinks were either too sweet (cider) or more on the bitter (IPA) side. There were better prices at "The Pumpkin Patch" probably about a few dollars cheaper and a lot more food options. I was surprised that you had to pay $10 to use a wagon to get your pumpkins. I mean the pumpkins are already pretty spendy. I picked out 2 medium, 1 small and 2 tiny for $23. I heard the haunted house was a joke so good thing I passed up on that. They did have a tractor ride that took you out to get your pumpkins but I am not sure if they charge for that ride.

Theresa A.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday for the pumpkin patch. It was really fun. Pumpkins were decently priced. We rode on the cow train ($3) and that was really fun. They also had a regular corn maze that is over 3 miles long. We ordered corn dogs, corn on the cob, and wine. The corn dog and corn was delicious. Unfortunately, the wine was not good at all, but fortunately, it was STRONG. That was worth it lol. Will def be back next year!
google avatar

Rachelle R.

Yelp
We had so much fun getting our pumpkins! This is such a lively and welcoming environment. I loved hunting to find the best pumpkins. They also have unique pumpkins in the patches like the lumpy ones and white ones. We ended up with three pumpkins! I would say just make sure to grab one of the carts we didn't and it was very warm and they were heavy ! All in all fantastic experience.

Yelp
We had such a blast here, that it was filled with a couple of firsts. It was our first time doing a corn maze, which we loved. We enjoyed how they turned it into a cute murder mystery you had to solve but collecting hidden clues. We were told it would take exactly an hour, which it did.  We took advantage of the free hayride. It was short, but it was free, and our first time, so no complaints here. It also doubled as transportation to the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch should you want to pick your own pumpkin. It was muddy on the day we went, so we just rode around. We bought corn from the food stand, which was fresh and delicious. We checked out the animals, and the store. It was a great half day adventure. I would love to return one day, and do the haunted corn maze. That sounded like a blast. The only thing I didn't like was how all the staff had tip jars. Why would you tip, the person selling you tickets, or the cashier. You don't tip your cashier at Safeway, why would you tip them here. This makes me think, they are not paying their staff a reasonable salary which is concerning.
google avatar

Nina S.

Yelp
They were promoting, on facebook, a pet friendly pumpkin patch, so, we decided to check them out. What a joke, they may be pet friendly but they are not disabled friendly. To get to the first spattering of pumpkins, you must walk well over a 1/4 of a mile (my phone said twice that) down a muddy uneven road then across an uneven field to a few pumpkins and the first red tractor. If we wanted to double our distance to more pumpkins, we could have. They had a wagon available for a fee, but way to high and difficult for a disabled, mobility impaired person to climb up into. They had a train available, again, no adult over 30 could climb into that, and, again a charge. Their other train, again a charge, had walk thru openings designed for skinny people to squeeze into, not an option for any plus size people. None of the rides allowed dogs ... so, if you wanted to bring your dogs to their pet friendly pumpkin patch ... your option is to walk. If you are mobility impaired and want to bring your dogs, you are going to suffer. Today is the 3rd day since my visit and I can finally stand and walk again, I am sooo sore from walking on all that uneven ground. No disclaimers on their site about the distance to walk or the surface to walk. Heck, if you showed up in a wheelchair, you could not get to the pumpkins!!! We will not be back and I will ensure everyone knows how ADA unfriendly this place is
google avatar

Taisiya S.

Yelp
This place is great. Such a cute spot with plenty to do and see for the Fall pumpkin patch. The only thing I didn't like is you have to rent wagons :( Not a fan of that at all. I think the first hour is free but we grabbed a cart in the beginning and ended up staying awhile with the corn maze, etc. I liked their market. They had ready to make pies as well as already baked marionberry pies. Lots of squash!! Loved al of the variety of delicata, turban, buttercup and so many more. Lots of organic tomatoes and canned pickled delicacies that you won't find anywhere else like the sweet potato pecan butter or various jams, etc. Prices seemed really reasonable and the whole family had fun!

Yelp
We are very fortunate here in the PNW, to experience the magic of the most superior of seasons! The warm, fading September sun, clear blue skies and a cool breeze, the carpet of red, orange and yellow leaves...there are few things more perfect than these! I've begun to look forward to autumn each year specifically to come out to Bella Organic, because this farm encapsulates all the above experiences in one place! Yes, I know it is open during the other seasons, but autumn is where it (and most other farms) truly begin to shine. Feeding the animals, shopping in the farm store, hunting scarecrows in the corn maze, sipping pumpkin beer or one of the various fruit ciders, picking that perfect pumpkin out of the patch. Is there any better way to spend a leisurely weekend afternoon? Not to mention the Haunted Corn Maze, which is a total blast, and one of the best Halloween-season experiences you will find in the Portland area. It's popular as all get-out, so make sure to arrive as early as possible just before sunset, grab your ticket, and wait for your turn to be pursued through the Maze of Maize by creepy clowns, sanguine scarecrows, and chainsaw-wielding psychopaths! Personally, I prefer Bella Organic to any other farm in the region. We;ve already visited twice this month, and we have at least one more planned next month, when the above mentioned Haunted Maze opens for the season. This place really shouldn't be missed: it is autumn personified!

Yelp
Went for the haunted corn maze which was fun, but had a horrible interaction with employees. I asked a simple question about where to check in and was given an extremely condescending answer by an employee who had way too much attitude for a 60 year old man working at a pumpkin patch. His coworker laughed as he basically humiliated my friends and I for asking a respectful question. I understand customer service is tiring but this ruined my experience and we paid way too much money for something like that to happen. We were respectful and polite so I'm at a loss as to why we were treated this way.

Austin A.

Yelp
The service was great and the food there was really well, really cool haunted maze to go to

Chris L.

Yelp
Corn maze is crazy scary. We tried the ciders there and they were some of the best I've ever had. They've got free hay rides too. Great service all around. I'm from out of state so it was so nice to see people so kind.

Becca P.

Yelp
The best spot on Sauvie Island! A must do for us every October, from their corn maze to petting zoo, seasonal beer selection to pumpkins, and more.

Yelp
Today I went to the Haunted Corn maze with a group of 4 and it was one of the worst haunt and corn maze experiences I've ever had. I should preface this by saying I go to A LOT of haunted houses and a few corn mazes a year. This was neither. The maze started by a person telling it was muddy and you should have appropriate shoes. Luckily I wore rain boots, but being warned as you walked in is not helpful. Perhaps an email if you bought tickets online? This was not light mud. This was a scene straight out of Forest Gump where he is treading through Vietnam. After what seemed to be forever going through literal poo-mud-water-gunk we finally hit our first little haunt. This was a sad little shack with a strobe light. Unfortunately that is how the rest of the maze was. There were few scarers, to make wading through the mud worth it. We were grabbing onto each other, not In the fun romantic scared way... but the I hope I don't eat it way. My rain boots are ruined, my money is wasted, and my bathtub is dirty.

Yelp
Beautiful farm and store! I picked up some Apple Butter. Their variety is awesome! Great service behind the counter and very helpful staff!

Yelp
This is probably more a 3.5 star review. The farm was great, the employees were kind of rude to be honest. We had a great time in the fields even though we arrived late in the season. The farm store also has a ton of yummy products to purchase. I would say if you want to do upick bring your own containers, prepare to walk and stand A LOT the fields were a LONG walk from the area you park. I walked 6,000 steps in two hours.

Yelp
Fun fall farm, nice variety of pumpkins and gourds. Cute little petting zoo and nice variety of produce and jams and jellies.

Yelp
10 out of 10 would not shop here. It's way over priced for everything. But what I would recommend is the haunted corn maze. It was a great experience.

Yelp
Overpriced, cash only (but convenient surcharge ATM on site), terrible customer service. They charge for EVERYTHING - even to use a wagon to carry pumpkins. The haunted corn maze was $40 a person for disorganization, lots of waiting around, just to walk through a muddy field. Skip it.

Yelp
Accidentally went here thinking it was "the pumpkin patch" and wow was this place expensive. They charge for everything. Overpriced and not even very great. Keep going a little further up the road for a much more affordable and apparently fun experience. We will try out their neighbor next year. They even charge you $5 to be able to use a wagon to bring your overpriced pumpkins to your car. I'm surprised they don't charge to use their portapotties. On the plus side, those were clean and plentiful. And the bay rides are free. If you decide to spend your money here, bring cash. Lots of it. "The Pumpkin Patch" doesn't charge for wagons, the petting zoo, etc.

Yelp
Visited Bella Organic Farm for strawberry picking about a week ago and had a wonderful time! I'm happy to see them adopting social distancing guidelines. They require masks, and provide gloves for picking. It costs $4 to go, but that includes the first pound of strawberries which I thought was a great deal for the experience. They have several fields to wander around, and the strawberries were plentiful. The strawberries were small and adorable, not like the massive ones you buy in grocery stores. There is plenty of parking, and the entrance area has some produce from the farm for sale including salsas and jams, fresh fruits and pies. We purchased a marionberry pie and took it home with us. Heated it up and it was absolutely delicious! There were also some baby pigs at the entrance to look at, as well as some turkeys (?) to be honest I forgot what bird it was, I was mesmerized by the pigs. Would definitely return for other berry picking seasons!

Yelp
Picking blueberries at Bella Organic Farms is a great family activity! The staff is friendly and super helpful. The bushes were packed full of ripe berries! The price was reasonable. There are a lot of one star reviews because people wouldn't/couldn't wear masks are required for picking. I think that with the COVID crisis going on, it is better to be safe than sorry. I didn't pick at any of the other farms, but there are a ton around so if you have mask issues, perhaps you can try other farms.... I can tell you that while we missed sampling while we picked, it was a total blast and we can't wait to go back! We ended with a mix of fresh berries and Ruby Jewel Ice Cream Sandwiches! A perfect way to celebrate National Blueberry Muffin Day.

Yelp
This place is so cute! Everything is easily mapped out, the staff is super kind, and holy cow. The strawberries were delicious. During the COVID times, everyone is required to wear masks (which cuts down on snacking while picking!) and gloves. I thought it was very well set up. Thanks again everyone! I will be back for blueberries soon!!!

Yelp
We came to Bella Organic Farm a couple weekends ago to do the regular and haunted corn mazes. We got there around 4pm just as a lot of people were leaving the island. Traffic took a while, but it wasn't too bad. Bring a lot of cash - we quickly ran out! We parked and bought our corn maze tickets immediately, putting us in the first group for the haunted corn maze starting around 7pm when it got dark. For $25, we were able to do both the haunted maze and the regular maze. The regular maze closed at 6pm so we had a bit of time to walk through. It was big and fun! They had a game you could do to find the six checkpoints with scarecrows and scratch off cards for points. They only count for bragging rights and sticker at the end though. After the maze, we got some snacks and drinks. We tried the cherry wine, rhubarb wine, and the pumpkin ale. For food, they had gyros, burgers, hot dogs and curly fries. We wanted to get more drinks, but after buying the corn maze tickets, food, and a round of drinks, we were all out of cash. I wish they'd take card, since I'm sure a lot of people were on the same boat as us. We would have spent more. Once it got dark, they called the first group for the haunted corn maze. They hold everyone in a tent so that they can send them out in smaller groups. The actor taking tickets was quite scary - she did a great job with her menacing stare and drooling onto her blood splatter dress. The maze had a lot of actors, coming out from different places. It was loosely Stranger Things themed. I won't spoil all the scenes, but they got a good few screams out of me. I'd do this again next year - I thought our timing between regular and haunted mazes was perfect. I wouldn't want to wait in the cold dark to go later. The reason I'm leaving three stars though is that it's cash only and the porta potties were all starting to run out of toilet paper around 7pm, which was only the beginning of the haunted mazes. It was also pretty dark where they were so they could have had more lighting.

Yelp
We love corn mazes and we've been to just about everyone on Sauvies this was our second time visiting this location and it is just the same as it was 4 years ago nothing different... Same picture cutouts and props, same same same... Even the maze was the same:( The store still has great produce just as it does all year long, but definitely not my favorite farm on the island.

Yelp
Really sad strawberry plants. Visited on the second day of the season for strawberry picking. The strawberry plants were really sad looking (not lush and green) and the strawberries themselves were teeny tiny (think raspberries) and to boot, not tasty. Difficult to find strawberries that were worth picking. Mostly tiny and underripe or tiny and overripe. A very disappointing experience. $3.50/lb so not crazy but really disappointing berries.

Yelp
Came here to check out the produce and activities. All the produce looked really fresh. They offer food and beer/wine which is nice. They also have cute little pigs, chickens, goats and bunnies the kids can feed and pet. Very cute! They have a corn maze as well. Didn't buy any food from concessions, so I can't comment on that, but the produce was reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Cute smaller farm stand if you want to steer clear of the more crowded Pumpkin Patch down the road.

Yelp
Visited this farm on my trip to Sauvie island. Their strawberry farm was what attracted me to make a stop. But did not have the time to check out the farm and did a quick stop at the farm store to pick up a pie, caramel popcorn and grilled cheese sandwich. The pie was amazing!! It had organic strawberry. It's portion size was perfect for one person or sharing with a friend. Caramel popcorn tasted great. The grilled cheese sandwich was a bang for the buck! Would recommend stopping by this farm on your visit to Sauvie island and experience its charm.

Yelp
Yesterday my wife and I picked black and blue berries. Bella supplies buckets and wagons to haul out all you wanna pick for about $3.75/lb.---fresh berries U-Pick! We picked 10 pounds. All berries can be frozen in your chiller at home. No pesticide sprays! Clean berries you can eat off the vine or bush. So don't panic, it's organic! Big big juicy blackberry and bushes full of delicious blueberries. Pick and taste as you go! The farm store has lots of other produce too---like heirloom tomatoes, potatoes, onions, so on. Wine, jelly and jams look awesome. Nuts! Produce prices are less than Portland's PSU farmers market too. Wow! It is a short drive about 10-15 miles from Portland onto Sauvie Island with lots of farms. Call Bella before heading out so they can give you 1st hand info on what is ready to pick. Bella is my "fav" Sauvie farm cuz remember it's organic, don't panic! Much fun walking around the farm a few hours, get a little exercise and saving yourself a little bit of money on the freshest tasting berries you'll find anywhere! Organic farms like this one should get a 6th star!

Yelp
For starters- I've been coming to this farm since high school- so nearly 10 years and It's been a family favorite ever since. I've recommended this place to so many people. We have had nothing but good experiences- until today. When we arrived they gave us the social distancing spiel (as expected) and asked if we had masks- which seemed silly since we are outside and FAR away from so many people, but without hesitation, all of us adults were prepared to wear masks. They also were requiring everyone to wear gloves, again- we adults were prepared to do so. But then the guy told me that my kids had to wear them too. I explained to him that my kids couldn't wear masks and gloves because my youngest is 2, he doesn't understand, he won't keep them on, and they're sized for adults. I then went on to explain that my 3 year old also can't wear one because he is disabled- he is autistic, he's non verbal, he can't communicate effectively nor could we explain that be needs to wear a mask and gloves- that aside, having his face and hands covered is a huge sensory issue for him. So I asked what kind of accommodations could be made or what we could do and his response was- well they can go over by the field, but they can't go on the field and a parent has to stay with them. So we could take our kids over to look and that's it. He also didn't hesitate to refer us to the farm down the street where no masks or gloves are required to pick berries in their fields. So to be clear, even though I explained that my kids are 2&3 years old, and one has a disability that prevents him from wearing masks, outdoors, in an open field, and they were unwilling to make any accommodations (even though the farm itself has made these choices, it's not state mandated) and all they could say was "sorry" and go down the street. I have never been so livid. To disqualify my son from an outdoor activity simply because he can't understand, and my other son because he's 2 when there's not even risk involved- bullshit. I will never go here again.

Yelp
We're back again this year to take some fall pictures. I love that its dog friendly and I'm able to take them into certain areas. There's a lot of things to do and they have enough parking space too. Over all had a nice time this year, and will be back again next year.
