Bella Roma Pizza

I will start with it was decently priced with nice portions. We got a medium Philly cheesesteak pizza, florentine shells, and eggplant rolls. I will start with the eggplant roll dish - it was absolutely disgusting. The whole dish tasted like freezer burn. Not sure if they come frozen and that was the case, if not their breading is absolutely horrible! The “ricotta” cheese inside was no ricotta I’ve ever had or tasted before it was not good. Barely had any sauce or flavor to the whole thing. I would avoid this dish at all cost! The pizza, it was okay, definitely skimpy on the toppings - you would think if you requested mushrooms off they would fill it in with more of the others, that was a nope… very little meat, peppers, and onions. It was mostly bread. The sauce nonexistent which was sad because it was semi decent. I will also say if you’re gonna do a Philly pizza it needs to be done with a white sauce not red. The breadsticks, well that’s what they are just bread sticks - zero flavor just bread. You’d think a pizza/ Italian place would want to stand out but I guess that not what they are after. I had high hopes but was severely disappointed.

Walked in and dined inside with my family. Ordered inside and the turn around was very quick. Ordered a Buffalo Chicken deep dish pizza and Healthy Choice Chicken and Feta thin crust pizza. Both were delicious, food was fresh and the ingredients were good. Will be going back for sure.

We ordered a handtossed cheese and pan chesse. They were both solid pizzas. Both had good crunch. Would have preferred more sauce on the handtossed. Not overly greasy. Kinda garlicy crust

I ordered GF Alfredo dish and it tasted really good. Cheese pizza looked great as well !Exception delivery service as it was 45 min ETA amd the drive arrived in about 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend. I love the fact they have GF options!! I'll try thr pizza next time.

Really amazing square deep dish pizza with enough cheese and toppings to make me wanna come back for another slice. I ordered carryout and my order was ready when I got there and given to me with a smile and a thank you. Will definitely be back. P.S. I highly recommend the deep dish buffalo chicken..delicious!

Ever since COVID (supposedly) caused the all you can eat buffet to shut down. The business has lost MANY customers... Bring back the all you can eat buffet, and the customers will return.

We ordered a variety of items, pizza, appetizers, salad, and Chicken Parmesan. Pizza was delicious cheese/topping ratio good. The marinara sauce for the appetizer was amazing. The salad lettuce was so fresh!! Our chicken dish was good as well. Will definitely be visiting again. The owner is so nice and staff very friendly and helpful.

This review is for a dine-in dinner experience. We did not try the pizza. Still on the hunt for a decent lasagna at a casual restaurant in Knoxville, we decided to give Bella Roma a shot. If you like cheese, you're in luck. First, when you walk in, you walk up to the counter and you'll be told to choose any table, read the menu that's at the table, and then go back up to the counter to order. You pay when you order, which is weird because how do you decide on a tip when all you did was seat yourself, not get any real answers when asking about menu items, and walked to the counter to order your own food? Then you have to get your own drink from the machine. There's not really any kind of table service except when they bring your food. Newsflash ... the "service" isn't worth 20%. The food came out fairly quickly and each of our entrees came with 3 breadsticks each, served in to-go containers. My husband also ordered chicken wings from the appetizer menu, which came out at the same time as the rest of the meal. That makes sense for a to-go order, but for dining in, it's nice to get the appetizer first. My daughter got the meatball sub. It was so overloaded with cheese, she had to pull much of it off and couldn't eat the whole thing. The ratio of meatball to cheese to too-large bun was way off. She said it also could have used more sauce. My husband ordered lasagna and he liked it. It was a smaller portion than I imagined it would be. (He ate his three breadsticks and two of mine to fill up.) It came topped and overloaded with cheese, hiding the smaller size of the portion of lasagna. I had eggplant rollatini (they don't call it that - they call it eggplant roll ups). There was so much cheese I was sick to my stomach after going home. The dish was tasty, but again too heavily loaded down with cheese. There wasn't enough sauce to even dip in the breadsticks. If you get entrees, order a side of sauce for the breadsticks, which are soft and warm. Very nice. The flavor was good but I can't get past the heavy cheese situation here. That combined with the lack of service and I'd suggest ordering a pizza and taking it home. You may have a better experience, especially if you're crazy for cheese. I'd say 2.5 stars.

Best pizza around! We love the square deep dish pizza, it's the best I have ever had. Very much worth the drive.

I called 3 times back to back right now and they just pick up the phone and leave it there. ANSWER and at least say hello we're busy can you hold please. That's terrible service

We had ours delivered, and it was good and hot. We ordered the pan with everything, and it was delicious. Would definitely try it again.

Hadn't been here in a long time. Probably close to 8 years, but I always remembered it being good. My wife and I ate in and got the Greek salad and Buffalo chicken pan pizza. All so good. Greek salad was really big with delicious dressing and toppings. As for the buffalo chicken pizza I've never found a better one. It's so good here and everytime I get one somewhere else I compare it to here. We were the only two in the restaurant but service was great. Causal and easy and the worker was super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Bella Roma Pizza has the best square deep dish pizza pie on this planet with fresh ingredients. And the authentic Itailian marinara made from scratch was so delicious.

This is our go-to pizza place! It's delicious and it's close to our house. We've tried other pizzas from here, but we always go back to the Hawaiian Deep Dish. It's our favorite! My husband used to live off of this pizza before we got married.

This place is fabulous. Their fettuccine Alfredo, and tiramisu are the best around. And for an affordable price. Your pizza is delicious. And if you order on GrubHub, it's the restaurant themselves that delivers. So, it's usually speedy. Highly recommend! Great Italian at a great price.

We got deep dish and regular crust pizzas. Also got some amazing breadsticks. This was the first time we tried them as we just moved to the area. Everything was excellent! We will make this our go to pizza place.

New to the area & took a shot ordering pizza without recommendations. We chose a 'build your own option' & the pizza was fantastic! A couple weeks later we wanted pizza again & we're so happy with the first experience that we tried Bella Roma again, this time trying the Bella Supreme (I believe). And we weren't disappointed! Both times the delivery was quick & arrived sooner than the earliest estimate. We will continue to order from Bella Roma & will recommend them too!

I absolutely love their baked spaghetti, Greek salad, and my husband loves their lasagna. We usually get it to go.

Ordered delivery and the food was still fresh! I had mozzarella sticks that were still crispy and warm and ordered a personal healthy choice feta pizza. The cheese was still melted and the crust was still crunchy. The delivery guy was also very friendly and actually delivered to my door unlike others that stay outside. As for the taste, I do not usually eat pizza that is not brick oven but I can see why people would enjoy pizza from here. It's a safe choice, they are not cheap on the toppings and cheese and you can't go wrong with ordering delivery from here!

We love Bella Roma! The owners are so nice and make a great pizza. When the buffet was open prior to covid, the owner would make you water ever you wanted to put in the buffet. Now they are take out or delivery- the deep dish pizza is awesome. A must try. Support your local Karns business!!!

So far - so good. We've eaten different specialty pizzas here several times and it's been good, better than most around where I live now. We haven't eaten in the restaurant so I can't speak to the service. You can't travel to far to pick up pizza it gets cold by the time you get back home. The owner is very friendly and polite. We'll be back to try more for sure.

Bella Roma was a great find on a dark Covid night. My wife and I were heading home through Karns and figured we'd have to go into oak ridge to find anything where we could sit down and have good, quality food. We tried the fettuccini and baked spaghetti and also added some cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was amazing! The pasta dishes were pretty good as well. We will stop in again!

In town staying at a nearby Airbnb, I decided to try this place as the reviews were convincing! It was very good and at a solid price. I had a small deep dish Hawaiian for $13. It was very tasty. I would go again for sure!

Great pizza and I like the fact that we did not have to order through door dash!! And the pizza was great!

Tasteless, the sauce is basically tomato and sugar. They sprinkle a little seasonings on the top of the entire meal, but it is still so plain. The bread sticks are also hard and plain. As a group, we ordered their spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, fried ravioli, fried mushrooms and a kids spaghetti. ALL were without flavor. Next time we want food this bad we'll buy jarred sauce from the grocery store and it will be so much better than this!!!!!! Stay far away from this place

Our office enjoys ordering from Bella Roma! The food is always hot and fresh when it arrives! Ordering is always a breeze (even when dealing with multiple individual orders and payment methods). Service is very friendly and fast over the phone. Their calzones are large and at a decent cost too! For me, I can always make two meals out of them. My favorite is the White spinach, which I like to add a few extra toppings in there too ( like black olives or tomatoes). Next time you are thinking of ordering out for the office, I hope you choose Bella Roma! Your food will get here fast and you'll find the entire ordering process a breeze!

Yummm! Awesome delivery service and DELICIOUS pizza! I'm a pizza lover to the core, and this one hit spot. Our delivery guy was great, very friendly and on time! If I had any notes, it would be the breadsticks. They are a bit tasteless, but for the price it's hard to complain. I would definitely recommend this place, maybe just order cinnamon bread instead :)

This place is so good!!! They have much more than pizza but their pizza is #1! Workers are also very nice and gave my boyfriend and I two free drinks! You have to try the fried mushrooms! So good! Will be coming back again and again!!!

Bella Roma has great food and super fast delivery. Staff is friendly and never had an issue with anything after ordering from them for over 2 years.

We stopped by for the first time today, mainly to try the subs. We love subs and are on a quest to try them every where we go that serves them. We were not disappointed in the Italian subs! They were perfect! Service was great and can't wait to go back to try the all you can eat buffet!

Pretty yummy food! I ordered a turkey sub and fries. The turkey was alright and the bread was good. The fries were amazing. My friend ordered a small pizza, which is a great size for the price! It smelled and looked yummy (I didn't have a piece) The staff was super nice. I'll be stopping by again!

This was a complete waste of time and money. The pizza was not fresh at all. They did not have cheese or pepperoni pizza, so my children just had pasta. We waited and hoped for fresher, better options. Unfortunately, we waited for nothing, as the options remained the same. We arrived at the restaurant at 12:00 PM and half of the pans were empty. By the time we left, around 12:45, all the pans were empty. They did not replace any pans with fresh baked pizza. This made the "All you can eat buffet" more like a "pick the scraps buffet." Not to mention, there were multiple empty tables with food left on them and at no time did anyone appear to be cleaning. My family and I will never eat here again and we highly suggest that nobody else does either. My only hope for this restaurant is that it shuts down and a better one opens in its place.

Ordered 60$ worth of food for delivery. Called back an hour later and asked about my order. Talked to the now known owner of the place. Said he had it down as a pick up order and its been sitting there for 40 min. Told him I did not want the food if its been sitting there for that long. Keep in mind we have ordered from this place for 15 plus years at least one time a week. He said that he was going to put it down on my account to never deliver to me again. I could expect this from an employee, but the OWNER!?!?!?

Great pizza! All of the staff members are always nice except for the host that answered the phone on 8/25/21. She's very rude. I was having difficulty finding my card to PAY over the phone and I guess this upset her, before hanging up the phone I heard her groan very loudly and say "oh my god!" and started to talk negatively about me to her coworkers. Next time she chooses to complain about customers that take to long to pay which helps her stay employed...she should make sure the call has completely ended.

Great food! Friendly staff and owners. Delivery is fast. Reasonably priced. Thin crust pizza is always nice and crunchy. Toppings are plentiful.

Had the coupon from Local Flavor went today for the buffet very few pizza selection and what was there looked old. They only would bring 1 to pizzas at a time and the would be gone in seconds. The restaurant looks dirty and the staff was not friendly. Will not go back.

I came in around 2:00 pm after the lunch rush and had the buffet. The pizza was not fresh & you could tell what had been sitting there had been there for some time. They did not offer to bring out any fresh pizza & I was there for over 30 minutes thinking they might.

The wings were good and seemed to be prepared in-house. The jalapeño poppers were clearly frozen and fried, not worth a nickel.

At one point and time this was my favorite pizza out here but the last two times they jacked up my order when making a special request and have no clue now if it's intentional. I asked for extra sauce this past time, got extra cheese(unless they've changed their recipe) and this was even worse than the last time they messed up. I can no longer trust them and will now stick to Marcos for my pizza and Big Ed's when I take someone out or family/friend's visiting. Have to clean up your act Bella Roma & return to greatness.

They have a good pizza bar. Have great potato salad. I just wish they would keep more pizza up there.

My favorite pizza place in Knoxville. Many vegetarian options (all veggie pizza, eggplant pizza and eggplant rolls are delicious). Friendly staff. You can request pizzas that aren't on the buffet and they're happy to make them. And if you're watching carbs you can even request fresh baked pizza bowls. Very accommodating with special requests or issues. Keep up the good work.

We have ordered delivery from here a bunch of times, and every time we are super pleased. The pizza has way more flavor than any chain places- and they offer a good variety of pizza toppings. It's not the best pizza I've ever had in the areas, but it is certainly the best that delivers to us. The house salad I got was a very good size, and I got the small, and the lettuce was crisp and fresh- honestly, such a delight to get a great side salad from a pizza place. But it's really more than just pizza, we've also ordered different pasta dishes that have all turned out delicious. It's nice to be able to have options for delivery if we don't necessarily feel like pizza. And to top it all off- they have chocolate cake. For delivery. I mean...come on....what more do you want?

This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing. Freshly made, tasty pizza, and the pasta is good too. The folks who own and run the restaurant are friendly and good at what they do. For a couple pizzas, the price may be a little high (compared to the "pizza pizza" guy) but it's worth the couple dollars. The ingredients are fresh, and the taste is phenomenal. Seriously, check it out if your in the Karns area.

Delivery Pros - order taker was very personable. Pizza was good (definitely could be decked longer for my taste) Average- ordered bone in wings which were fair. Onion rings were fair to good (and I know better than to order rings delivered, they get soggy. That not their fault) Cons- slow delivery took 1hr 15 minutes... too long. Driver was courteous.

Wow! We go to the pediatrician near here and decided to try it for lunch today. We got the buffet and loved everything. I was impressed with the fresh salad bar and the pizzas, cheesy breadsticks, and pasta were all delicious. I'm way too full. Great service also!

Imagine the Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtles eating pizza. That cheese pizza, the one that you imagine as quintessential cheese pizza of your childhood? They have it here. TL;DR: Good pizza, etc. at a good value. Excellent service and good people. I'm a firm believer in the idea that you can tell a pizza place by its simple products, like a plain cheese pizza. Take it from someone who's had most of their offerings over the last couple years - there's nothing they make that isn't good. Some of greats are deep dish buffalo chicken or Philly cheese steak. And the wings! Their wings are arguably better than Buffalo Wild Wings, certainly a better value and out to you much sooner. The only thing they need now is more sauce options than mild, hot, and honey BBQ (but, if you bring your own, they'll put it together for you...). The manager/owner Solomon is a genuine, great guy. He's the model of a personable manager with good soft-skills and if you ever get the chance to talk to him, you should get to know him. He genuinely wants to take care of his customers. The rest of the staff are good people, too. They have a buffet, which he keeps stocked with what you ask for. They also deliver in the Karns area. If you live in Karns, you probably know this place well. I've made a lot of memories here over the last couple years and I'm really going to miss this place when I'm gone. If you're passing through, go order yourself a large cheese pizza. "Cowabunga, dude!"

We had an office lunch here last week and the food is great! We had the buffet and they made every pizza we requested. The salad bar is good too. We waited for service at our table but I think you're suppose to order at the "place your order here" sign and then sit down. I give the food 5 stars but the service 4 since it was a little confusing.

We eat there all the time for lunch and dinner. Everything we've ever ordered has been very very good. The pizza, the calzone, and the hamburgers are all amazing. And the service has always been spectacular.
