I had an incredible experience at Bella Union for my Jewel Box tasting. Jonathan was an exceptional host—knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly generous. He truly went above and beyond, offering side-by-side tastings and happily accommodating requests to try wines not listed on the menu. His insights into each wine and what made them unique added so much depth to the experience. What impressed me most was how clearly he values member feedback and how that input is shaping the new tasting room and its atmosphere. Bravo to Jonathan for delivering a standout experience and for being such a thoughtful ambassador of the brand! 👏👏🍾🥂

our experience at Bella Union was absolutely great! We came as walk-ins and tasted some wine by the glass. Justin Pieraldi was very knowledgable and he really made us feel welcome and special. He and also the lady at the entrance was super nice and attentive. They even has some non-alcoholic options for drivers. The place itself is stunning and so beautifully made. Really looking forward to our next visit there :)

We’ve been members of Nickel & Nickel for about 6 years now and were excited to know they opened this new tasting room in between our most recent visits, so we made plans to visit here on this trip. What you might know about visiting Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel don’t apply here – this tasting room is quite different. It still has that great service and offers amazing wine, but the vibe is completely different! Mostly catered to a slightly younger crowd, but still rather upscale. The décor was amazing, we really liked it! Service we got from the wine educators helping us was great as well. And the snacks they provided were absolutely INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend making plans to not only stop in for a tasting, but buy a bottle and sit & sip and stay a while!

I went to Bella Union to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and we had an amazing time! I wish I knew the name of the super friendly and awesome blonde woman who welcomed us at the entrance — she got us a table and we chatted a bit about Brazil. The guy with glasses who served us was also really nice and cool. They both made the experience unforgettable. I’m so grateful for their kindness and for such a great day. Thank you for everything!

We had the most incredible anniversary experience at Bella Union! From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and elevated. Makena truly made our visit unforgettable, she wasn’t just knowledgeable about the wines (which were all fantastic), she brought so much warmth and care to the entire tasting. You could tell she genuinely wanted us to have a special time, and she absolutely delivered. It was the perfect way to celebrate, and we’ll be recommending Bella Union to all our friends. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Bella Union is stunning. The atmosphere is bright and cozy. We loved learning about the Bella Union Winery from Jonathan. The wines and snacks were all delightful.

Excellent wine selections and great service. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and they made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. The atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, making it a perfect spot for a date night or catching up with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their wine list.

Gorgeous new tasting room and wonderful wines! From the spacious outdoor patio area to the plush indoor booths no expense was spared in providing an upscale tasting experience. Our knowledgeable host Victor guided us through the well crafted blends accompanied by nuts olives & crackers to keep our palates fresh. Loved the tour of the indoor spaces and whole experience! Thank you!

Yelp
We finally had a chance to visit the new location for Bella Union wines (part of the Far Niente family of wines here in Napa). The architecture was much more modern than their sister properties (nickel & nickel, far niente), but had its own unique charm. We enjoyed the wine tasting with snack pairing, which featured 4 wines (pick your own adventure style) + a complimentary glass of the Bianco to start. The snacks ranged from olives to hand-cut veggie chips to nuts dusted with porcini mushrooms. It was a great pairing that didn't overpower the flavor of the wines. Our server (I can't remember his name unfortunately, but it might have been Victor?), was so kind and knowledgeable and made us feel right at home there. We learned a lot about the new property, how the different blends are made there, and what to expect from Bella in the future. It was a great time! I look forward to my return and will bring some friends next time!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience. Hospitality and the new winery was an absolute delight. Follow it up with spectacular cabernet. Even the white wines were great. Tiraud, Michelle and our other host who used to work mondavi forgot to get her name were wonderful. Bella union is part of nickel nickel and far niente. Heavy rain , so we arrived earlier than expected. Staff made us feel right at home. Started with a 2022 Bianco white blend. Which was delightful. Not usually a white wine person but this was Smooth very well balanced . crisp, refreshing. savingnon blanc and semillon blend. Even The pinot blanc was a surprise. very crisp, drinkable and delicious. Nice flavor profile. And i usually dont like whites. The star was the reds. We ended up taking home a bottle of the 2022 bella union cabernet savingnon and the 2022 liaison red blend napa valley which had some malbec in there. The cab was an absolute delight, great balance and flavors. Black currant, cherry, fruit forward and but super heavy. I would say very approachable for first timers. The liaison cab/malbec blend was big and bold with some cab franc petit verdot. Loved it! Definitely will be back! Cheers

Yelp
Amazing. What a lovely new winery. The Bianco White Blend was my favorite but honestly, the wines were all very enjoyable. My son enjoyed their signature Cabernet Sauvignon. Definitely taking some to go. Beautiful facilities, a fabulous mix of modern and comfortable with just amazing views make for such a wonderful experience. Looking forward to returning. Isaiahs was a fantastic host. Definitely recommend this tour, the wines and the winery overall.

Yelp
VERY bougie. Wines were tasty. Make sure you reserve some time for this lovely tasting. Very unique in Napa. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and everything from the velvet banquettes to the lighting was curated with a purpose. Our sommelier was super attentive and answered a variety of questions. Lovely experience.

Yelp
Been here twice. I absolutely love this place. Service was amazing both times. Wine was amazing and the snacks they give were a huge plus. The decor of this place is out of this world. This is a must go to if you're coming to the valley to wine taste.

Yelp
The snacks, the wine, and the service were excellent! Cameron gave us the best service and because we loved the wine, we decided to join. They've only been in business for one month. I found them on Morning Brew app. I'm soooo glad we tried this winery. They have a second floor and amazing rooms with experiences! I look forward to their events! They gave us wine to try outside of our tasting. They gave me a bag of corks and we bought their single bottle wine suitcases. Our tastings were free because we joined. Their bags with wine purchase is nice quality.

Yelp
The wine and bites were wonderful. The service from the front door to the table with Jonathan was great. The ambiance was beautiful.

Yelp
We were extremely excited and is a highly anticipated winery opening for us. Located in the old barn of Provenance Winery, with the sister wineries such as Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel, our $125 Wine Experience made us felt nothing like a luxury experience. We walked past the hustling rooms and we were sat at the big conference room by ourselves. The issue is for the winery to find an identity. The $125 experience is !not good. If you are visiting Napa there are so many other experiences that is superior to this: thinking Cade, Quintessa, Larkmead, Del Dotto, Faust. If I were to recommend a tasting at Bella Union I would probably still recommend the "Social Hours at The Wren." Daily, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., where people can pop in and buy wines by the glass or by the bottle and pair them with some snacks. Although speaking of snacks, they are grand fathered in to serve food but the food program seems to be still under development due to a bunch of issues. Not the best experience by far .

Yelp
Cynthia from Far Niente sent us here to their sister company. We are fortunate they were accepting walk-in's on a Thursday evening. Our server was Johnathan S and he was so knowledgeable about the wine. Very down to earth guy. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. Exceptional customer service! We look forward to coming back soon.

Yelp
We highly recommend visiting this winery for a tasting. The aesthetics are amazing, especially since this winery is brand new. They start by serving a nice little appetizer and then comes the wine. Our server was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. We ended up buying a couple of bottles to go. We will definitely come back!

Yelp
I went with friends this past weekend and had a spectacular time. Isaias was our tasting host and he was exceptional to say the least. We had high expectations after being fans of far niente and Nickel & Nickel for so long -- we were excited to visit Bella Union. I'll say the following: if you love whites and are a fan of blended reds, also having an appreciation for Napa Wines at a shareable cost, Bella Union will check all of the boxes. Their remodel from Provenance is literally unrecognizable. If you want the crème de la crème experience, request Isaias as your tasting host. He's born and raised Napa valley, has a true appreciation for wine and is certain to give you a best in class tasting. You won't regret your visit to Bella Union whether it be solo, with clients, family, friends or anyone in between. p.s. order the olives.

Yelp
This winery is a vibe. They recently opened, so it's modern and cute. Based on my wine tasting experience, I recommend (from my favorite to least): 1) 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford, 2) 2022 La Gemma Red Blend, 3) 2022 Liaison Red Blend, and 4) 2022 Mélange White Blend. The only minus is that I was craving snacks/food the whole time, but they said they'll consider including food on their menu soon!

Yelp
We had a spontaneous stop Saturday late afternoon with friends at Bella Union. What a treat it was! The newly renovated tasting space was beautiful. We were greeted by Jonathon Sanchez who understood immediately we were local, fun and excited to try this new spot. He was great giving each of us exactly what we were looking for yummy French white blend, Pinot and a delicious red blend. He was attentive to everything we needed, multiple tastes until it was the one!! He was great and also gave us space to enjoy the glasses. We were a fun table...., and we got a visit from another stellar host Ta' Rod Kenney aka tall dark & handsome! He was the best. A master of sales he gave a pretty intriguing pitch to join the wine club. He was funny and super entertaining. But also classy giving our man Jonathon all kudos! Long story short. We closed the place down. Bought a wine membership, a bunch of bottles and look forward to seeing Jonathon & Ta'Rod again! 5 stars for both of them!!!!! Can't wait till summer!

Yelp
This was easily the highlight of our Napa/Calistoga trip!!! We had the best service (shout out Isaias) and the flights were personalized and so well designed! The spritz was incredible and we enjoyed great snacks and bites! We enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and the gorgeous amenities of the properties. A must visit for anyone traveling to wine country! Thank you thank you for such an amazing time!!!

Yelp
This was our second vineyard of our tour and worked out beautifully on a fantastic day. This is the sister winery to Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel which are both top class wineries but also quite expensive. Bella Union is only a couple of months old, and you can tell based upon the gorgeous tasting rooms and patio. We were fortunate enough to have our tasting outside in a spacious patio area, and were surprised to see them provide us with some snacks to help with our tasting. These weren't just any snacks, the olives were legitimately some of the best I've ever had, and our wine server also agreed that they should be bottling and selling them. The wines were tasty and the whole experience will definitely have us coming back in the future.

Yelp
This new winery is a lovely facility. a beautiful outdoor space as well as inside. the person who greeted us Flora, was very professional, pleasant and efficient. Our server, Brenda, was very knowledgeable and hospitable. We were underwhelmed by the Wines, Especially the blended reds.

Michael C.

Yelp
Incredibly rude front of house. We were in town and excited to be visiting this new winery but not sure if we could bring our dog. There is no info on their website. Turns out the answer is no because we were literally shooed away, hand motion and all, and told to leave right away. Any kind of dialogue or sense of hospitality would have been better. For a winery that is trying to brand itself as welcoming and approachable, this is the snobbiest and most pretentious location I've ever been to in Napa Valley

Yelp
The tasting room is beautiful and is conveniently located off the 29. Our group of 10 was greeted with a splash of Sauvignon Blanc and we headed upstairs to our table. The woman who did our tasting was very knowledgeable and able to speak to all levels of questions. We were given 4 pours for the $100 tasting and they were small - typically when I do $100 tastings the pours are a bit more substantial. I enjoyed the wine, but there was only one (the Melange) that stuck out to me as interesting/original. The cabernets are well made but didn't see them as standouts at the price point. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that we were booked for 11 and 10 of us showed up. Given that there were still 10 of us and we spent a lot of money for the tasting and wine that was purchased, you would think they wouldn't charge us for that 11th person - but they did and said I would have to call later to get approval from a manager to reverse the charge. I did so, and they wouldn't reverse the charge. I live in Sonoma and host quite a bit- it just didn't sit right with me.
