Google
Bella’s is worth the wait and never disappoints. The shrimp and grits is my favorite breakfast but their specials like Sicilian eggs Benedict are fantastic. The staff is friendly and the food is great.

Google
The food was incredible, we got the berry brioche French toast with lemon crème and the eggs florentine. Drinks were awesome, highly recommend the dirty chai, it was actually flavored with more than just cinnamon. Service was not the best, after being seated we were waiting for 45 min for our food to be served, other people who came in after us got their food before us. We only got our food immediately flagging a server down and inquiring. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot with a calm and relaxing ambiance, Bella’s Cafe is a must-visit! My first time here and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. Michael, our waiter, was incredibly nice and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food here is absolutely amazing! The pancakes were a highlight—fluffy, big, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the Eggs Benedict and an omelet, both of which were delicious and expertly prepared. I highly recommend Bella’s Cafe for anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing breakfast experience with great food and excellent service. This place is a gem!

Google
Really wanted to like this place as it came highly recommended, but our experience was…”meh”. Only had to wait 5 min for a table, but once we placed our orders, we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Coffee refills were offered at the 40 minute mark. The food experience was split down the middle. My meal (corned beef hash with eggs and potatoes) was delicious. The corned beef was perfectly cooked and clearly fresh brisket, but my partners meal (Challah french toast) was soggy inside, mushy and wet. Maybe we had a one-off bad experience, but can’t recommend the french toast. Maybe go here if you’re not completely starved, as you may need to wait +45 min to eat.

Google
The Bananas Foster French Toast was spectacular. I was especially delighted going through the specials menu and to see the staples as well such a unique variety of dishes to choose from. You can surely tell each one is ever so carefully crafted. Its exciting to see a business be authentically them. Bellas for me is so much more than breakfast brunch and lunch delights. This is artistry if I ever saw it. Every dish is so well thought out from the ingredients to the title of each dish. Presentation is off the charts. Portions surely will leave you satisfied.

The wait was long, but the food was worth every second !! Melissa was our server, she is the best, so personable and kind.

Andy’s Reviews

Google
This place was amazing! When you arrive, there’s a small seating area out front that will allow you a place to sit while you wait for your table. Generally there’s a 20 to 30 minute wait however, they will just send you a text message when your table is available and you have five minutes to respond. This makes waiting on-line convenient because you can walk down the street and look at some of the storefronts until your table is ready. Once you get seated the dining area is rather small, recently this restaurant took over the next door property and was able to double their size for both seating and their kitchen area. Because there were so many people in such a small space the noise was, kind of loud, however, this was made up for by the expeditious coffee and food service and they truly produced some amazing food. The French toast was exquisite, the syrup and bananas with whipped cream on top made it a absolutely phenomenal choice. I should not have eaten the entire plate, but I did because it was so good. The rest of my party had truly enjoyable food. The pancakes looked amazing, but I cannot do both pancakes and a large plate of French toast in the same sitting. I highly recommend the establishment!

Google
Lovely food, but they were understaffed. Waited 45 minutes for an omelette and another 30 for our bill. Had to go look for the waiter:(

Yelp
Awesome place for breakfast. We had to wait about 15 min as we were a large party. They accommodated us with a big booth in their second room. Staff were all great and friendly. The food came out quick. They have so many food options it's hard to choose. I had eggs and some pancakes. Everything was beyond delicious.

Yelp
An adorable, homey breakfast-first place in New Haven that was a good brunch stopover. The decor is funky - all clocks and roosters, which i guess is to emphasize the breakfastness of the whole place. We got the shrimp & grits and the veggie omelet, and an order of Italian French bread to share. All of them were pretty darn tasty, and portions were big enough to feel like we needed to be rolled out afterwards.
google avatar

Imani J.

Yelp
Bella's is by far one of the best breakfast spots in New Haven! The food is always amazing with some signature staples like the challah French toast and they also have a seasonal menu that changes. Service is always great, the wait time can be long, but it is well worth it. The ambiance of the restaurant is very family friendly and quaint in the Westville area!
google avatar

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
A Sunday ritual! Initially it was all about the pancakes for me then I explored the French Toast! Decisions Decisions !!! We have always been warmly and friendly welcomed each and every time we walk through the front door! The servers are very upbeat and only adds to the overall enjoyable visit, meal and experience!

Yelp
Came back for round 2. Still as good as I remember it. Ordered Salmon egg Benedict. Wait was about 45 mins when arriving towards the end of their day like almost 1 PM. Ordered fresh OJ. So good. It's a cute place. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Diana Q.

Yelp
It was my first time coming here and I went with a group of friends. We were lucky enough to be seated almost immediately and ordered a round of drinks. The drink i got was pretty good, not my favorite but it was ok. The food however was delicious. I had an eggs Benedict special with steak. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came more on the rare side but it was super tasty. All our eggs were cooked to perfection and the english muffin was also soon good - perfectly toasted! All in all, I plan to come back for their shrimp and grits.

Yelp
Waited over an hour placed my name on the waitlist they called at 11:46am I walked in at 11:48 the hostess said she called and because I didn't answer however I walked In she gave our table away. We were literally sitting outside the restaurant this is poor terrible customer service. This place was an amazing breakfast spot that has quickly gone down the drain. It's unfortunate considering it is one of the best in the city. Wow terrible maybe consider checking in on Your customers who are waiting patiently ahead simply could have popped her head out the door. That's ridiculous..

Yelp
Always loved the month of August. Perhaps it's because it's when all the birthday celebrations begin. Bella's Café was our breakfast destination for the first celebration and it did not disappoint. The food and the service was outstanding. The home fried potatoes were elegantly seasoned, and the eggs were cooked just right. The hot chocolate was divine and utilized dark chocolate for a lovely touch. No one would know that the owner Rose wasn't even there to supervise what a great job everyone was doing. Our waitress was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, well organized, and it was a pleasure to see an entire staff that is truly happy to be at work. Customer satisfaction seemed to be everyone's goal as was evident in their smiles the entire time we were there.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times. Delicious food I have had the blueberry pancakes almost everytime I go there. The service is great and fast. No issues ever here.
google avatar

Walter T.

Yelp
Breakfast specialties are very generous and perfectly prepared. Staff greet you at the door but you need all parties present to get seated because the place is popular and not that big. The challah French toast was like a giant Cinnabon. The chorizo eggs Benedict is nicely prepared and tasty. The Italian sandwich was substantial. Worth the wait.
google avatar

Abiba S.

Yelp
I've heard so many good things about Bella's and finally decided to check it out! My friends and I went to Bella's for a birthday brunch and we all enjoyed our food. The pancakes were so light and fluffy and the corned beef hash was so delicious! The restaurant was really packed for Saturday brunch and they don't take reservations so we had to wait for about an hour but it was well worth it. Im so excited to go back!

Yelp
Newer winter specials are amazing. Didn't know what to choose. I went with the Winter Biscuit with Sausage Gravy. It was such a delicious bite. Kudos to the Chef. If you get the opportunity, definitely try it
google avatar

Yelp
we went in on a whim and we're blown away and how good everything was. I would've sat on a piece of newspaper on the floor. If it was the only seating that's how good everything was. We got the whole challah French toast with fig and buttercream mascarpone and hazelnuts with the best maple syrup I've ever had in my life. We also tried a brunch sandwich, which was walnut cranberry bread, big jam, prosciutto, and gruyère cheese. FANTASTIC. honestly, they could've charged $10 more plate and it would've been reasonable for food with that quality.

Yelp
An absolute gem of a place. We stopped in for brunch on a Saturday and were quite pleased we did. The restaurant does not take reservations so essentially it is first come first serve. The restaurant is a bit on the small side but if you are patient you will be served a wonderful breakfast. We started with the Mexican Chocolate Cocoa which was absolutely wonderful. For our breakfast I had the orange-cranberry pancakes which were absolutely delicious. Usually I am not a huge pancake eater but I ate my whole steak and was not disappointed. The pancakes were served with a bourbon maple syrup which was the perfect way to top the pancakes. I had a side of applewood smoked bacon which was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had the small French toast steak served with a side of grits and one egg, over easy. The brunch was absolutely wonderful, what I will suggest is that you have patience because it was very busy and it did take a while from waiting to be seated, being attended to and finally getting your meal, but if you are patient enough you will be treated to one heck of a

Yelp
Please bring the chicken salad sandwich back as a special!!!! Don't forget to include the potato salad or even the coleslaw! I miss that delicious entree.

Yelp
Great little cafe on Whalley Ave. We went at 8:30 am on a Sunday and the place was bustling with most tables filled in both rooms as well as the bar seating. Brunch and breakfast items are served on weekends. Brunch offerings consist of 6 items that change weekly. 2 of my friends ordered the brunch specials - cranberry orange pancakes with walnuts and a raspberry cinnamon roll French toast. I opted for a traditional eggs benedict, that was served with a generous piece of ham and delicious, well seasoned breakfast potatoes. We were all extremely satisfied with our choices and left very full. Go early, as the line was out the door when we left.

Jane K.

Yelp
Food is good but barely got to taste anything. Asked if the food I ordered had any dairy and was told by the server "no". Food came out with toast covered in butter. When I asked for nom buttered toast, server asked why. I told her butter is dairy. Asked if any of the food was cooked with butter and was told yes... instead of kindness I was met with "next time tell us if you have a dairy allergy". Paid full for my meal. Staff are short tempered. Will talk shit about Customers, which can be heard when you sit at the bar.

Yelp
Bella's Cafe is an American diner-style restaurant that opened in New Haven, Connecticut in 2000. It was founded by Rose Foote. Born into a restaurant family, Rose's Italian immigrant grandmother opened Paula's Diner in Bridgeport while her grandfather Nick "The Greek" owned Nick's Diner in Bridgeport. By age 9, Rose was working in the kitchen at her parents' restaurant Marie's Luncheonette in Trumbull. In 1985, she started her own catering service: Rose's Distinctive Catering. She furthered her culinary education with travels throughout Italy. Rose opened Bella's Cafe in New Haven's Westville neighborhood in 2000. Although the restaurant features a number of delicious breakfast and lunch options, they are most well-known for their weekend brunch which has won them numerous accolades over the years. My wife and I have visited Bella's a number of times over the years. When I first began dating my wife, she lived in an apartment in Westville and she introduced me to the restaurant. It is located right in the heart of the neighborhood. We visited Bella's for brunch this past weekend. It was our first visit in many years and also the first with our two young sons. The wait for brunch can get pretty long on the weekends, but it's worth it. For brunch cocktails, I had a "Pumpkin Spice Mimosa" while my wife had the Caramel Cider Sangria". These autumn-inspired cocktails really hit the spot. For food, I ordered the "Pumpkin Tiramisu French Toast" (brioche soaked in an espresso & bourbon custard topped with a whipped pumpkin mascarpone cream, bourbon caramel syrup), my wife ordered the "Poached Pear French Toast" (challah French toast, poached Anjou pear, brie cheese and a cardamom praline), and our older son ordered the "Challah French Toast" (with bananas). Everything was delicious! We all shared a little bit and I think that my wife's Pear French Toast was probably the best dish on the table. We all had a lovely experience at Bella's and highly recommend them if you're looking for a great brunch in New Haven!

Yelp
Upgrading my prior review from 3 to 4 stars. Tried bella's for the second time in part because of a nice note the manager left after my first visit and I enjoyed it more this time. Very varied menu with tasty options that aren't the standard breakfast restaurant choices. The bayou omelet was very good. The only constructive feedback we had was that though the bananas foster French toast tasted good, it was much sweeter than it needed to be. I know it's a sweet dish, but this went a level beyond. Overall, a good experience and a recommended breakfast or lunch spot if you are in the area or passing through.

Yelp
Great food and service! We've tried several breakfast places is New Haven, and Bella's is by far the best.
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
Food is solid, but the service is truly horrible. It's one of those places where they feel they are doing you a favor by serving you. They clearly don't have any professional staff here that know or care about running a restaurant. I will certainly not be coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
DISAPPOINTING. This was my first time coming here, and I have to say that I was excited, because I was using this venue in a detective fiction novel that I am currently working on. As you can see from the photos, at 7 AM this place was almost completely empty. When I asked for a table, I was told adamantly, that tables are only for two or more people and that I could only sit at the bar. (BTW - This was on a Tuesday, not. Weekend). Again, as you can see, no one was here except for one table. In fact, when I left after breakfast, people still hadn't arrived. So I put up a fuss and said that that was just not right, and that I wouldn't be too long, which was a shame to have to negotiate to enjoy a nice breakfast experience. The breakfast itself was just OK, nothing good or bad, but it is really a shame that this venue I intended to use for a story, I will no longer be using, because I had such a sad first experience. Sometimes it's better to understand what customer experience really means.

Yelp
Despite parking, this spot is a treat to enjoy. Delicious food, friendly service and the ambiance is relaxed. Good coffee.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
The place is decent but honestly not worth the hype. We ordered a steak Benedict and French toast. Both tasted well but I didn't feel anything special about them though. We had a peach mimosa too and that was delicious. Service was decent and the place honestly felt a bit loud. It was an okay experience overall.

Yelp
Recently had the pleasure of being invited here for brunch and left very delighted that I was introduced to Bella's Cafe. The place was packed and the wait was nearly an hour. However, they will text you when your table is ready which allows you to browse around the interesting neighborhood shops. I was a fan of the decor. It has an eclectic vibe, window shutters, wrought iron, huge mirrors, giant clocks and beautiful chandeliers. Servers were very friendly and accommodating and apologetic about the then long wait from ordering to delivery of food to the table. However, everything was worth the wait. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, proven by a little seed that slipped through. The vegetables in my omelette were impeccably fresh and all of the Italian flavors worked in harmony, even with the Arrabiata sauce which I was originally doubtful of. My companion had salmon and scrambled eggs on a mound of grits. I substituted my potatoes for cheesy grits. The grits were unlike no other that I've tasted. The creamiest and cheesiest. These grits will make you happy even if you're a person that dislikes happiness. There are too many intriguing things on the menu that I can't wait to try. Will definitely return!

Yelp
I've been to Bella's many times for breakfast and brunch!! The food is always on point. I've enjoyed several items and all are very good. Service is usually great but watch your bill as some servers automatically add a 20% gratuity if you're not watching. As others have mentioned, it's a small place and they will only seat you if your entire party is there. Very cute this time of year as it's decorated for the holidays and they were playing Christmas music. During this particular visit, I had the two eggs any style and my sister had the cornmeal pecan pancakes. Both were very good. I've also had the shrimp and grits and bayou omelet which are good as well.
google avatar

Jen G.

Yelp
Holy overpriced!! They price gouge because they see all of New Haven doing it!!! But the quality is not even there! I paid $20 for a chicken salad sandwich!! The waitress who was super nice is the reason they got 2 stars told me it was delicious but I guess she doesn't know delicious ‍The bread was soooo greasy soaked in butter I got a stomach ache and mire mayonaise then chicken!! Cheap cutting corners...then it had some weird type of gel on it oozing out..no clue what that was supposed to be but wasnt in the description...the inside of the restaurant was freezing! People eating with coats on..another sign of cheap...dont waste your time waaaay better places in New Haven and for your buck like the diner!

Yelp
Seated immediately at the counter on a Friday morning. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was absolutely delicious. The scrambled eggs are fluffy, bacon was crispy without asking for it to be extra crisp, and the potatoes are well-seasoned. The vibe is very much that of an East coast small town cafe-- cozy, no frills, and strong coffee.

Steven N.

Yelp
Ordered biscuit with eggs. After almost finished with eggs, biscuits came out 15 minutes late. After this inconvenience, I asked respectively for cafe to make some consideration to bill. They refused. I asked to speak to manager and was told that was not possible because he was in kitchen cooking. I will not come back here again and recommend other places to go for breakfast.
google avatar

Mirian G.

Yelp
The wait was a bit long for my liking but after realizing how small and limited seating they have I understood and just waited patiently. We seated at the counter and we ordered mimosas. I got shrimp and grits and my sister got a egg and bacon sandwich with a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious and although the mixed reviews worried me I was pleasantly surprised. Food was seasoned and great portions. I would definitely come back and explore the menu more.
google avatar

Kate C.

Yelp
We went here on a busy Sunday morning and put our names in then then text you when your tables ready, parking was a bit simpler as the bank next door is closed on Sundays and you can park behind the restaurant. Our waiter was so upbeat and pleasant he was 100 why I'd return besides the food. I had the fry bread minus the chorizo to make it vegetarian, it was still kickass, esp the parm fries w it, my hubs had the Italian bread French toast and a side of home fries he loved his, I had a nice pot of hot tea and that was great too, plus they only serve REAL maple syrup !

Sharon A.

Yelp
It's the best for breakfast! Food well prepared & creative Hate the lines- it's so difficult to find a time when it's not crowded.
google avatar

Vivian R.

Yelp
Food and drinks were delicious! Honestly I had such a hard time deciding what to eat because everything sounded amazing. We came for brunch on Friday and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent and I definitely plan to return to try other things. Only downside is parking. Street parking and some spots behind the bank.
google avatar

Sally ann E.

Yelp
It would have been five stars but for the very tough lady at the door. There are ways to let people know that you can't come into the restaurant until everyone was there. I was ordered to wait in a vestibule which had been built for this purpose. It had a heater but I was still cold plus there were very few people inside. So I moved my chair under the heater and she came out and ordered me to put it back. Ordered me! Never a smile. Never I'm so sorry but I'm required to do this. I told her I was 85. This mean person couldn't care less. She's got to go. Not good for business. Meal was excellent and so was our waitress.

Paola S.

Yelp
Amazing food! Service is always quick and to the point, very cute vibe very cute for a little date spot or casual brunch/breakfast.

Yelp
On my bucket list for two reasons. First, the rave reviews from the inspiring Marie R, and also featured w/I the past few months on WFSB (Hartford CBS affiliate), by news correspondent Roger Susanin. On the TV segment, Roger sampled shrimp and grits and Bella Benedict. Today, my best friend, Pots & Pans, and I paid a visit. Free parking on the street, but good luck finding a spot. Luck was with us as we found a spot RIGHT IN FRONT. The interior is split into two sections, and is warm, homey, comfortable, and inviting. We were seated and then greeted by Mike, who was capable, affable, just plain able. Very friendly and accommodating. Pots ordered the fried chicken and challah French toast, which came w 2 eggs and maple syrup. I had Bella's Corned Beef Hash....comes w 2 eggs any style, choice of toast, and choice of potatoes or grits. Mike suggested the grits, as he mentioned they were made w real cream (and, duh, therefore very creamy). BTW, Bella ascribes to the famous line from My Cousin Vinny re: grits (google it). We both had coffee (choice of med or dark roast). Couple things to mention about my food...the grits were unbelievably scrumptious, and the CBH is in my top 10 all-time (and I've literally had CBH from all over the country). Pots? He kept making groaning noises while he was eating, and I suggested he get a room with his food. And look at the "before" and "after" pix of our plates which tell two thousand + words. Overall, we agreed. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had. 5 star PS - I want Roger Susanin's job when he moves on!

Yelp
Huge portions, but I thought the food was just alright. And the service was slow (we came here on a Tuesday for brunch). It was slow to order, get water refilled, and get the check. It seemed like the waitress forgot about us towards the end of our meal. She wasn't busy, but she didn't make eye contact or look in the direction of our table when we were hoping she would to ask her for more water and the check. We had to get up ourselves to finally pay. The waitresses were nice though -- just not too attentive towards the end. The food was just okay. The potatoes on the side of the farm fresh eggs were undercooked. The Challah French Toast was good though -- it was super chewy and soft. Although the food didn't stand out to me, I'd recommend this place to those who are really hungry because they serve really large portions here.
google avatar

Lori D.

Yelp
Our waitress could have cared less about us which made for a bad experience. The food was good but the service left little to be desired. It's a shame when a place has so much potential and decent reviews and then the service is lack luster. Our coffee wasn't refilled, water seemed like it was a burden and checking back to see how our breakfast was never once crossed our server's mind.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
I'm always happy when I get exactly what I want. Especially when a server puts my order in such a way as to save me money. Thank You I ordered deconstructed eggs Florentine without bread. And as you can see, that's what I got. The other people in my party were just as happy as I. I was passing through and got very lucky based on other reviews. Get there early on a Sunday so you don't have to wait too long.
google avatar

Marco V.

Yelp
This is my second time eating on this place. We went there Saturday for brunch and there was 30 minutes waiting. We decided to wait. It took about 20 minutes when they called us and we were seated at the bar. There was not table available. It was ok for us to seat at the bar. We ordered some coffees and Mango mimosa. Coffee was fresh and strong. Mango mimosa wasn't good. I was expecting more mango flavor. It was a little pricey. That's why I gave them 4 stars today. The food was amazing. I ordered fried chicken with challah French toast. It was delicious. Chicken was juicy and tender, and the challah French toast were delicious too. Also we ordered the Palermo omelet and it was delicious too. Overall the food and coffees were great just the mimosa was not good to give them 5 stars.
google avatar

Stephanie F.

Yelp
Owner would not let us even sit outside - claimed did not want any dogs on the premises. I understand dogs being allowed inside but outside on the side walk? We waited over 30 minutes for a table then were told we had to leave.

Yelp
A hidden gem located in New Haven that offers the best orange juice I have ever tasted. I was in the area and needed a quick breakfast bite and when I google restaurants nearby the pictures of the food from Bellas Cafe caught my attention. I walked up and there was a long line outside waiting to be seated. I thought this place must be very popular I went inside to seek information if I was able to place a take-out order. The lady at the front desk advised me that they were too busy to do take out which was a bummer. I asked how long until a table is available, and her response was about half an hour to 45 minutes. She then went on and ask how many were in my party, I said just me, and she told me I could be seated at the bar. I was hungry so this was perfect. Inside the restaurant was beautifully decorated with a wide variety of art pieces on the wall. Even though it was packed with people it was not too loud. My order was taken a few minutes after I sat down and I could not resist the freshly squeezed orange juice that was being served. There is a machine over the counter that oranges are placed in and the machine juices them to provide freshly made orange juice. It was so delicious I have to take one to go. I ordered the challah French roast with scrambled eggs and bacon and it was delicious. The French toast pieces were huge I was able to eat and have left over for lunch. An overall great experience and if I am ever back in New Haven, I will definitely be back at Bella's Cafe.

Yelp
If there is such a thing as gourmet breakfast food Bellas Cafe certainly serves it. Besides serving excellent food they do a great job with their presentation of their meals. I had their Banana Foster French Toast, Challah French toast (3 large pieces) topped with bananas, dark rum, (Yes dark rum), brown sugar, almonds, and whip cream. OMG it was so delicious. I was in heaven on my first bite. My friend had a Tuscan Omelette with grilled eggplant, masted peppers, fried onions, squash, portobello mushrooms, with asiago cheese. The home fries were well seasoned, nice and crispy. Service was excellent, their staff is very friendly, and I like the way they all work together as a team. Oh yes I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
The food and service were excellent. We can't wait to go back! Everything on the menu looked delicious, it was so hard choose.

Yelp
Classic breakfast/brunch in Westville. I stopped by on a Tuesday right after work for breakfast after a long string of night shifts, and Bella's hit the spot! I ordered the omelet du jour (happened to be the crab and shrimp omelet) on the specials menu, which comes with toast and pan grilled potatoes. The omelet was stuffed with crab, shrimp, goat cheese, and veggies. The home fries were seasoned well but I would've preferred them a bit crispier. Overall great place for standard breakfast/brunch fare. I would definitely try to find a weekday to go since the wait can get incredibly long on the weekends!

Yelp
This was the second time I've visited Bella's within the past couple of years and my expectations were definitely succeeded. I was a lil worried that it would be super busy for Saturday breakfast, but we actually didn't wait at all. We came at the perfect time! My sister and I ordered the Wild Mushroom Omelette, The Navajo, and the Apple Fritter French Toast. The staff were super friendly and gracious. When our food came to our table, we were amazed at the portion size. We immedately knew that we were going to have to get to go boxes at the end. The Apple Fritter French Toast was super yummy and not too sweet. There was also brie in it which was a nice touch. The omelette was good, but wouldn't order again since there was goat cheese in it. My sister really enjoyed the Navajo which was fry bread topped with chorizo chili, monterey jack and cheddar cheese, smashed avocado, fried egg and crema with cilantro citrus parmesan fries. Overall, we had a good time and you get your money's worth here!

Yelp
A W E S O M E Place. So glad we discovered it. Had Italian Breakfast Grilled cheese and black & blue French toast. Both were ridiculously delicious! Waitstaff was great and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
First off make sure everyone is on time or better yet go in the same car. They will NOT seat you until your party is all there. They do not take reservations, we had a party of possibly 8 and we are aware that the restaurant is pretty small and would be hard to fit a table of that size depending on time. So we tried to let them be aware and it didn't matter they don't take reservations. So when we arrived I was asked if we would be okay with being split up. No we wouldn't that is why we tried to make a reservation. Thank god it was a nice day to wait outside. I almost texted a few of the people to suggest going somewhere else but you never know who may just show up to join so we waited. Now mind you had we been seated there was a very good chance that most of us would have had a couple more mimosas or martinis. But that is money that they did not get from us. Oh well guess they aren't in the business to make money. Oh wait yes they are, they over charge for everything in the menu. If you ask to add Baileys in your espresso martini they charge you 4 dollars more 19$ now for an espresso martini seriously??? Your not giving me anymore than will fit in the glass just put less kahlua. I had the shrimp and grits. It's served in a skillet but the skillet is cold. Why even bother. And it was just okay. Not very flavorful at all. And take the rails off the shrimp. Who wants to dig through the grits and pull off the tails. The French toast looked amazing, nice thick challah bread with almond butter and a syrup with berries. My friend said the Bella's Benedict was very good so much so he brought an order home. All in all the food was good, not worth the price. And if you want to sit and linger or gather while waiting for everyone over a cup of coffee or mimosas this is not the place for you. For 2 of us with one martini, a glass of orange juice, shrimp and grits, and 2 eggs with bacon and English muffin it cost us with tax and tip 75$. Out group will definitely be choosing a different place for our group breakfast next time

Yelp
I haven't been to Bella's in over 3 years and after my last two experiences there, I was really hesitant to go but, my professor suggested it to so I obliged. I was running 5 minutes behind and they wouldn't sit her until I got there which really annoys me, but whatever. The host was pleasant and seated us across from the bar. The seating is so tight in there and I sat right under the air. Why was the air on? You tell me. Anyways, I ordered the veggie omelette, which came with home fries and toast (gluten free). Our food took 50 minutes, yes, 50 minutes and despite it being good, there's no food on earth worth almost an hour wait. So safe to say I won't be back to Bella's, ever. While this experience was better than 3 years ago, I've learned my lesson overall. No thank you!
