Belle Du Valais Restaurant

Quite the restaurant. I know fondu is big here in Gramado but this place is definitely the Taj Mahal of Fondu places here. We did the tasting menu for 2. It was spectacular. the meats were very fresh, and the cheese was also something to appreciate

I came here indicated by a friend which told me in advance. Will you have the best fondue experience, BUT you will pay for it! And Damn... It is a perfect statement. Great food... Great service... Great atmosphere... But you will indeed pay above the average of a other places. You either choose the 149 (2 kinds of meat) or 159 Reais (4 kinds of meat) per person for the all 3 stages of Fondue or you choose just one stage (cheese / meat / chocolate) and the price for 2 people will range from 155 to 199. Plus the beverages and a wine... Etc... You do that math... So it comes down to knowing this is not a place to do the math ;) Come, enjoy everything but at least know this info IF you do the math :)

Gramado is famous for its culinary and fondue is a must when visiting the city. With endless options, it can be quite hard to decide which restaurant to try, but, having tried a few, I'm positive that Belle du Valais is the best option! The venue itself is magnificent, it reminds you of villages in the Swiss alpes and has a nice atmosphere. Staff is super helpful, making suggestions and explaining the menu and how the fondue sequence works and what's included. My partner and I absolutely loved the cheese one and it was hard to stop eating it! Then we had the meat, which was also outstanding, especially if mixed with cheese... Yum!!! Finally, we had the chocolate fondue. We were informed that it's made using a local chocolate (Prawer) and I must say it was extremely good! Everything was very tasty and you could tell that they used great quality ingredients. The fondue exceeded any expectations we had and our whole experience was excellent! This restaurant is definitely a great choice for fondue in the area!

Very hi end restaurant serving fondue

Very expensive known for its fondue but other dishes also served. Food was okay but nothing special. Decor a pastiche of belle epoch.

Expensive but good!

Amazing service. We had the Pedrada with steak and chicken and it came with probably what seemed to be more than 10 different dips. Our wine was perfect to accompany our dinner. We also had the Filé with almond rice and apple sauce. What a fantastic experience! Obrigada Valdir!!
