I have always relied on this pastry shop and have often recommended it to friends because of the quality of the products.
Last week, however, I ordered a cherry‑shaped cake and discussed every detail directly with the manager. On the day of pickup, the cake was completely different from what had been agreed. I raised the issue, but the manager was not present.
The following day I returned to ask for clarification, and the manager addressed me in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, invading my personal space and speaking to me rudely. She told me I had no right to complain and that I had “understood nothing”.
Such behaviour is entirely unacceptable towards a customer. I can understand that mistakes happen, but being spoken to in a disrespectful and confrontational way is not something I am willing to tolerate.
I will not be returning, and I will inform the people I had recommended this place to about my experience.
