Bellefields

Have walked by many times and thought it was a "Members only" co-working space, or a section of "The Department Store" bar & restaurant, but turns out it is separate and open to the public for drinks as well as members. A lovely, spacious and quiet space with an outdoor terrace, great coffee and staff. Two hours free WiFi is included, a great place to work or chill. Definitely give it a try if you are in Brixton and fancy a change from Nero or Pret. They don't open at the weekends though.

Third visit and by far the best! Love the updated menu - we ordered for drinks - a glass of red and the dark & stormy cocktail, for dinner we had the burrata, truffle tortellini followed by the rice pudding arancini. Best meal I've had there so far!

Love this place, but I really wish there was a better way of letting people know when it’s closed for the day. At the moment it’s just a poster on the door, which means people can turn up for work and only then realise they can’t get in. Is there any way closures could be communicated through your socials or website instead?

New restaurant in Brixton. The interior is very slick and nice, there is even a courtyard which is visible from inside. Cocktails were amazing but food was lacking. It tasted bland and average. I would return for drinks and maybe snacks but not food. Staff were nice and the vibe was chilled/good.

Absolutely loved this place! The drinks and food were delicious - we ordered a number of dishes and every single one was perfect. Will 100% be returning.

Nicest pasta in London. I had the tortellini which was fresh pasta filled with ricotta, cooked al dente. The shaved truffle finished the dish off. For dessert I had Crème Brûlée which was perfect. I have given 5 stars, but I would give 6 if I could.

Went as a party of three adults, three children and the staff were very accommodating providing high chairs and off menu eggs in toast for the little ones. The staff were helpful, but weren't the most knowledgeable, possibly down to the fact that I believe Bellefields has recently opened. I had the chickpea fritas, halloumi and egg, which was very good and would recommend. The coffee was average, but didn't take away from a good visit.

I have visited this place so many times (i am a local resident) and always usually lovely staff. Today I came for my morning oat flat white but wanted to use the toilet first , the staff member (blonde male) refused to let me use the bathroom first saying customers only, I explained that I am a long time customer and wanted to use the toilet first and he said no. I left in shock tbh , I ended up buying my coffee at Canova down the road from here which I think is the same owner , very strange.
