Very exciting community event happening weekly in Bellevue Pa through October! Delicious and plentiful local fare in historical Bayne Park.

I love having a weekly farmer's market in my neighborhood. Bayne Park is a great location and looks like there is still plenty of space to accommodate additional vendors. Hughes Apiary and Pond Hill Farm are my favorite vendors (amazing quality). Would love to see more produce and fruit vendors included for added variety. Excited to see our little market grow!

I wish there were a couple more fruit & veggie farm options, and a Food Truck with more gluten free options. And of course the harvest varies month to month. There were a lot of alcohol spirits vendors. Overall, a lovely little weekly market!

Lots of vendors. Fresh produce. The only farmer I don't like is Sturgis Orchards as they used to accept food bucks at twice the face value then stopped. There peaches were not especially good this year.

The Farmers Market was such a better experience when it was next to the library. On a hot summer day a parking lot is not the most comfortable place to be relative to a nice shaded lawn. I suspect the market was moved to better ensure social distancing and mask wearing which is understandable and welcome, but man its hot on that pavement. Also i felt that there wasn’t that much produce. I’d really prefer more fruits and veg at a Farmers Market and less alcohol.

Arrived just as the market opened. I entered through the parking lot as I walked to get there. The market was in the area of the parking lot and it was brutally hot. The weather forecast for today said somewhere between 77 and 79 and boy was it there then. There were sprinkles light rain but nothing to be bothered with. I went into the library to return books and sat in the park facing the skateway for kids. I waited for a friend who came and then began exploring in the back of the library parking lot. I was very disappointed in that there weren't many vendors selling produce. I was able to buy a pint of strawberries and a wonderful 🍎Apple for $4.50 total. I did not find any other produce that interested me even though they had more at different stands. It also had a stands selling whiskey, hard cider, cheeses, salsa, mushrooms, eggs, huge hanging flower baskets for 15.. lovely singer/guitar player reminiscent of Janis Joplin's gravelly voice really sing well. For lunch I had a gyro without the bread as I cannot eat that . they accommodated me very nicely with a fork and double tin foil. it was a nice outing for the three hours I was there with my friend .would I go back ? yes

Great environment. Very small selection of fresh produce but good selection of non farm options.

I got there at 5 and they were out of a lot of produce already. They open at 4. If u have produce coupons or checks u got in the mail they triple them. Example your $2. Coupon is now worth $6.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by how many vendor Bellevue farmer's market has for being a suburban market. There were probably about 25 tents of vendors, with a variety of offerings such as juice, dip mixes, olive oils, hummus, cheeses, fresh produce, flowers, jams, pies, hot food such as Mediterranean and dumplings. We talked to the organizer, and one thing that surprised me was that he said he prefers to only have one vendor of each type at the market, mostly to ensure that each vendor makes money while there. I can understand this approach, but I felt for a farmer's market the fresh produce offerings were lacking. Given that there were only 1-2 produce vendors, the prices were set as they pleased and the breadth of produce was limited. Maybe this will improve as we get later in the growing season. The location is nice. The space is very green and has a playground for kids to play in. The market also offers a "toy library" when you can check out a toy to play with for the evening (hula hoop, bubbles, balls, etc.). There was a live performer the day we were there, and there were also picnic tables for us to sit at and enjoy our dumplings we bought at the market.

Yelp
Very disappointed on my first visit to this farmers market. The website lists at least 3 times times more vendors than were actually there. Only two fresh produce stands. One stand was selling fresh corn for $15/dozen... guess that they realized there was no competition. I really looked forward to finally being able to fit in a trip to Bellevue to do this, but will not be returning.
