Being from the area, decided to come for breakfast for the first time and it was delicious! Good priced and the atmosphere felt very friendly with other folks having a good time. Their hot chocolate looked and tasted good. Had waffles with eggs and sausage for my breakfast.

Google
I had a waffle combo with Bananas, eggs, and sausage. I gotta say the sausages were too dry and the eggs were decent. My 1st time at this diner. Their selection for omelettes seems greater on the Menu but not too many choices on add-ons. I asked for red-skin potatoes, not something it's offered but you can ask for hash browns as an option.

So me and my Fiancé have been here a couple times and will be back! This review is soooo long overdue. We came for the first time in october and for being first time customers we got the most adorable free hot cocoa in a cute mug. The servers are so above and really make you feel at home in a family run dinner. Like some kind of cheesy sitcom. Come by

A very small country, local diner down in Bellflower. I drove down from West LA specifically for this diner because I am working through a list of all the diners in Los Angeles County. I don’t come to this area often so it was nice to mix it up. The menu is very limited, but does have a lot of great American diner classics on it. Our server was nice however everything that we ordered and getting checked on was very delayed. They forgot our drink refills two separate times and also all of our food items came out very slowly. They also kept running out of coffee because a couple large groups kept getting all of their coffees refilled and then I’d have to wait for mine to brew. Pricing is fair and portion sizes are medium so if you are in the area, it can be a good deal. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but street parking is extremely easy to find in this part of town. I was able to find a free space right out front. For our first visit, we chose the Eggs Benedict and the Chilaquiles with Chile Verde. The Eggs Benedict was actually pretty good and I especially enjoyed the cheddar cheese mixed in. The chilaquiles were also very nice and the sauce really added to the overall flavors. The eggs on the Eggs Benedict were a bit overdone and not as runny as I like, but still, both dishes had some nice flavors. I would recommend if you are in the area and are searching for a nice local diner.

Google
This is a very cute hole in wall diner with very decently priced food. The service was fast and efficient. The coffee was ok, decent the first time round but the refill tasted a bit burnt. Eggs were fluffy and the potatoes were crispy. I did not care for the sausage, patty or link. The pancakes were good but I do not care for the brand of syrup they carry. My buddy and I went with got the deconstructed chili burger and THAT was good. I would be willing to attempt this place again for lunch. Once again though, the service was very nice.

First time going was wonderful. Had the green chilakiles. The costumer service was great and the food was delicious reminded me of my mom's cooking growing up. Recommend must try this place. Shout out to my sister and law and her husband for inviting me here and showing me this delicious cozy place.

Yelp
Boy! I had the greatest breakfast burrito here, of any place! It was humongous! It was their egg, bacon, ham, sausage, with hashbrown breakfast burrito! It was very filling! Great place! Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere!

Yelp
Really good food. Got the kitchen sink omelette and it was huge! The place was cool decorated with different license plates and precious moments.

Yelp
Great cafe with plenty of food options, Indoor seating. Staff were very friendly, I ordered the chilaquiles, they are a 10 out of 10, I was able to ask for half red and half green salsa which is great since I love both and hate having to pick! The hot chocolate was delicious. Very authentic flavor.

Yelp
Me and my cycling group rode from Bell Gardens to Bellflower one morning, our destination was a bionicos place, but it was closed! So we looked across the street and saw this place. We were all famished from the ride so we pulled up, locked the bikes, and walked in. The dining area had just enough central booths to accommodate all 12 of us which was great. I love vintage looking diners and this one was no exception. We all ordered our plates and I was shocked at how low the prices were! We also found out the place was family owned and the Mom, Son and Daughter all were on the same shift, helping serve us all. I would 100% come back if I'm ever in the area again. Loved this spot!

Yelp
I enjoyed this little diner! We want to try new places around our area and came across bellflower diner. It's definitely not modern inside but it has a Homey vibe to it. I can tell lots of locals come here to eat and firefighters/police around the area too. Sometimes when I see places like that, serving the community, you know it's legit! We ordered their omelette which was really good. I enjoyed it and so did my husband. The service was excellent, very attentive and I always love when I don't have to ask for more water or a refill because they are on it! Will def be back for some more good eats here!

Yelp
I try to suppoert locale businesses, so after church we went here. The boothes were sunk in and too low for the tables. I orders steak and eggs, I am not sure what this was but it was not what I expected. They brought out the toast 5 minutes before the food. The "Steak" (and I use that word very loosely) was supposed to be medium but it was like beef jerky. I will not.be back

Yelp
6/30/23 Don't get the pork chops! Finally, we have a day to have breakfast together and hubby decided to go here. I wanted to go to the restaurant next-door but I got outvoted. He ordered the Huevos Rsncheris & I ordered the Pork chops & eggs. Big mistake for me-the meat was so tough I almost broke a tooth (ok exaggeration on my part) it was hard to chew and definitely hard to swallow. At the very least my potatoes were good. I informed the waitress that the pork chops were inedible and she apologized, saying their supplier does not always provide the best (quality)/cuts of meat. I think the food preparer just overcooked it. It's an average diner with average eats.

Yelp
My friend brought me here since he said this was one of his favorite spots for years now. The prices are actually decent. It's a little Mom and pop with a bunch of little cute knickknacks everywhere. I only saw one person working the floor and one person in the back. I ordered steak and eggs. The meat had quite a bit of fat, but it wasn't that bad. Like I said, the prices are reflection of the quality of meat. I got. Came with potatoes and egg. My friend ordered an omelette, but the omelette was different because apparently it wasn't a regular omelette. It was an open and omelette, which was a little bit weird to us. Nice friendly spot. Clean and would come back if I was local to the area.

Yelp
Well this place looks like they've kept everything they collected since their 1978 opening... cluttered with stuff. Good thing.... food is delicious. Had mexican omelet n canadian bacon/eggs. Their specialty to us was the homemade hash browns (crisp on outside and creamy soft center inside). Staff nice.

Yelp
Great "hole in the wall" place. Cozy. My fiance and I have been here, maybe, a total of 4 times and we have tried different dishes each time. The food is delicious, and the staff is courteous and attentive! We'll definitely be back and recommend to others.

Yelp
First time here. It's a family owned cafe and it's only open for breakfast and lunch. Full menu is available throughout the day. They offer fast service but I encourage you to arrive early as it gets busy fast. The portions are reasonable and well priced. Martha provided awesome service. Thanks!

Yelp
Hidden in the quaint and cozy city of Bellflower is the Bellflower Diner. A charming little hole in the wall breakfast spot has captured my attention. The ambiance is like a time capsule with oldies playing in the background of hungry patrons and the exchange of hot dishes and coffee mugs. The chilaquiles omelette was simply delicious. The hot savory rice and beans complimented the slight heat of the saucy and slightly crispy chilaquiles rojos. I enjoyed Sunday Breakfast at the Bellflower Diner. Who knows, you may find me here next Sunday!

Yelp
Family owned diner, full with loyal, neighborhood customers and only 5 minutes from Artesia. A local establishment with friendly service and delicious breakfast burritos is definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Came here for the first time, FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Got the green chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros, I definitely recommend those. Will be coming back with the whole family, authentic Mexican food and service was amazing.

Yelp
First time here and it was as I expected, small mom and pop old school diner (loved it). Real food and nice service. I had the sink omelette and it was good, the portions were just right and so were the prices. The hot chocolate was a bit too sweet for my taste though but everything else was good.

Yelp
First time visit. Solid breakfast choice Ample servings and excellent customer service. Good home cooking breakfast! Food came out quickly. The vibes are old school coffee shop from the 70's, they played great 70's music as well. Street parking available, Super reasonable prices!

Yelp
Ordene un hot chocolate y sabia mas a agua que chocolate. Tambien ordene una chicken salad y el pollo estaba demasiado seco.

Yelp
Soh fah, I have eaten here six times, with a friend. Usually on Sunday mornings, before we go to the Angel City Christian Coffee Shop Outreach Fellowship, for the Sunday service. The diner has a full menu. Breakfasf, lunch, dinner. My favorite breakfast food, is the Breakfast Bereeter! (Burrito.) The cooks really make it HUGE! Three eggs, (Shelled of course,) sausage, bacon, ham, hash browns, diced onions! Come on to the Bellflower Diner! You will be satisfied!

Chuck L.

Yelp
We love diners and this was no exception. It's a small family owned diner and they treat you like family. My favorite breakfast is huevos rancheros or a bacon breakfast burrito, they had both. I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious. My wife had an omelette and it was really good too. We would highly recommend the Bellflower Diner.

Yelp
Had breakfast here for the first time and it was SO good! The service was great, entire staff was super friendly. Family owned diner so you definitely get that homey vibe coming in. We had breakfast, the kitchen sink omelette and it was delicious. Had a little bit of everything, if you're looking for a good breakfast spot check it out. They also have a pretty good amount of Mexican food didn't get a chance to try it this time, but maybe next time

Yelp
This is one of the best mom&pop breakfast places I've been to. The breakfast here is 100% better than at a place like ihop lol. From the bacon to the pancakes. A very delicious homemade taste. I absolutely love getting the Lucky Boy special and adding double the bacon. When I come here they're full.. Most of the times. So I order through yelp and just pick up. I've eaten here before and enjoy getting their coffee because they'll keep refilling my cup until I'm super caffeinated. Definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Been living here in Bellflower for a few years, Our first time here, We actually love it! The ambience seems very homey atmosphere, very pleasant and comfortable, think of your Grandma or Great Aunts house in the late 80's and early 90's , we absolutely love it! This is literally your Mom and Pop spot! Dad, Mom and Son's all working here, Good hearty breakfast , I can't complain, definitely would comeback and recommend this spot. Parking - you can pay for parking about a block away or free parking in the center of downtown Bellflower, about 5-7 minute walk or park in the neighborhood, unless it's Thursday/ friday, which is street sweeper day, double check the signs , if you park near Bellflower blvd.

Yelp
the chile quiles are so good they fill you up and it's the perfect breakfast to eat and the service perfect you need to come here. And it's straight businnnnnnnn

Yelp
Great food at a great price! Crushed ice in your soda. Hospitable service in a charming atmosphere.

Yelp
Visited the diner on 7/20/24. Party of 3, believe we all received food poisoning! Breakfast was cold. Beans were watery and the chiliagiles omelette the eggs were cold and rubbery. Coffee was weak and the food was bad. All 3 of us said that the food was poor. Was visiting from up North.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is amazing, its my first time here in a while but its the same food from the last time i came. The service is great as always. From what i remember this diner seemed like it was family owned which I absolutely love. The diner itself is very well decorated. Makes it feel very cozy as if you're eating right at home.

Yelp
As soon as we walked in we got greeted and Scott sat down didn't take nothing less than two minutes for us to get our coffee and maybe less than 10 minutes for our food. I got a aloha pineapple omelette along with a side of French toast and coffee and my son got the California omelette with orange juice. The omelette was too dried so I'm gonna give that to stars could've been a little more fluffier and the coffee was good potatoes were good sourdough sourdough bread the French toast was actually pretty good and my sons omelette had avocado tomato and cheese and bacon . He ate everything so pretty much I'm sure his plate was delicious nevertheless the customer service was on point we asked if we needed anything else got our waters with straws also I notice to the right of me my lovely sister hood two older ladies caring conversation and just enjoying life so I decided to also pay for their breakfast along with our breakfast this day overall here to experience. The Restaurant needs some deep cleaning!! Food ***\(3 1/2) Customer Service ****(4) Cleaning ness of Restaurant **(2) Music ***(3)

Yelp
I drove by it and noticed several people standing outside . So I decided to try this Jew spot for breakfast . The first thing is this old dinner is nothing fancy the decor is a bit outdated . Where this dinner beats expectations is on the great service and delicious food. That's what you're looking for anyway. The service is on pint not only did they take my order promptly we were refilled on coffee and they checked on us several times trough our meal. Even the owners came by . No that's attention which I love. They haven't forgotten to be personally involved . Food was amazing had the biscuit gravy & eggs with bacon and my wife had the chilaquiles in free. Sauce . Both plates where delicious the chilaquiles had a kick to them but great. The biscuit and gravy was also amazing. The only thing that I could point out the hash down had no seasoning at all. But larger than that keep it up.

Yelp
I ordered takeout for a Burrito Front counter Service was very friendly Burrito was huge I gained weight from the calorie dense Burrito Which is a sign that I got my money's worth.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm always looking for new breakfast spots, so I thought I'd give this place a try based on their reviews. Upon entering you are immediately face to face with a table of customers eating. It was very awkward standing right in front of them while waiting for a table. The decor is eclectic, the place could definitely use a remodel and good cleaning. My waitress was not very friendly, and actually quite rude. I ordered a waffle with scrambled eggs and bacon, and a homemade muffin. The waffle was raw, and the muffin was extremely dry and not very tasty. Even though I advised one of the employees, I was still charged for my food.

Yelp
Love eating here after church love the oatmeal breakfast comb . Really love to check out the muendo

Yelp
Just left this place and can say I am very disappointed. Drove past this diner a few times and was always curious, well in the end curiosity killed the cat. Food had no flavor, syrup and gravy were watered down, heck they even manage to mess up toast. They couldn't even get the service right, food was brought out at separate times, coffee never refilled and the cook came out the back with his belly exposed (buy a bigger shirt). My wife and I ate about 25 percent of our food, payed the check and left all remaining evidence behind. If you like the food here then you probably live on a microwave diet. Never again!!!

Yelp
Came back to Bellflower Diner after a few years. Service is good, Ambiance, decor was the same. Ordered the Belgian waffle and steak & eggs. The good: Coffee Steak ( carne asada) & eggs The Bad: Toast was dry and hard Waffle was tasteless - powdered sugar was not helping. The syrup is watery. I'd be back for a coffee, maybe some fruit but it was definitely not experience I was expecting given the previous visits several years ago.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast, the older lady slipped the check on the table mid eating, my boyfriend noticed and told me. Nothing said from the lady like "no rush here's the check when you're ready". I feel like I'm being discriminated because she thought I was going to not pay or dine and dash? No lady I'm too old for that. We continued eating and the older lady sat at the table next to us, at this point I'm already irritated. And when I gave my card to pay, one of the waitresses said my card was blocked when I it wasn't so I ended up paying thru Apple Pay. I could just see the older lady staring at us. When we were leaving, no thank you come again. She just walked over to the counter and started talking to someone else. Attitude. Learn some customer service. The first guy that sat us down and the younger girl is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars.

Cheesey L.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The service here is also nice and pretty fast. It has this old dinner vibe, which I personally love. 11/10 would recommend!

Wendy ..

Yelp
I ordered a burger and it was truly awful. It had a fiber sitting on it (which I can forgive) but it tasted like it'd been sitting in the fridge for a week (you can taste the oxidation in the meat) And the hashbrowns were cold in the middle as well. When I brought it to the waiter's attention, Fernando said he just had one recently and it was good to him. I said, "I understand that it tasted good to you, but it didn't to me." And he just walked off and didn't say anything. I don't think they have fresh food, and their cooks need proper food safety training. Don't come here.

Yelp
Traveling down Bellflower Blvd if you blink you might miss it. Love the cozy truck stop mom and pop feel of this restaurant. Got here when it first opened, good thing because it got crowded fairly quickly. I decided to try their Baja omelette (zucchini, tomato's,Serrano peppers, cilantro, and jack cheese), it comes with hash browns and toast. The omelet was seasoned and opened with the toppings on top almost like a pizza . Love the concept and it made for getting to the toppings easier. The hash browns were flaky shredded like pasta. Again loved the concept, as they were soft and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and the server was very attentive. I noticed many of their customers they knew them by their first name, as well as their favorite beverage of choice . I can see bringing a group of friends or even my family and having a great time in this restaurant. I will definitely come back .

Yelp
What is Cozy classic diner. Very friendly family-owned going over to a friends house to eat feel. Great signs all around the restaurant to read to put a smile on your face. Great people. wonderful, tasty food. I had a burrito that was packed full of wonderful greatness, some wonderful muffins looking forward for more good times.

Yelp
Paid $13 for this weak ass breakfast. I asked for extra beans because I didn't want the rice. This place is a fucking rip off.
google avatar

EJ B.

Yelp
The Bellflower diner has been here forever despite all the new businesses popping up & I hope it's here to stay. Walking in is easy as just sitting wherever as long as there's a free table (you just have to take initiative like that). They have so many good and different options for a great price & I'm pretty sure most of the entrees come with a side of potatoes and toast. I ordered the hot chocolate once and it was a VERY generous serving in a really cute mug & it came with an even more generous topping of whipped cream & sprinkles haha. If I was a kid I would've lost my mind (honestly I still kind of did). The interior is so cute & kitschy with a bunch of decorations that make me feel like I'm at someone's grandma's house (': Even the bathroom is decorated like that floor to ceiling! I'll always come back here!
google avatar

Sebastian L.

Yelp
First of all, let me just say this right now, everything about this place was great. The atmosphere and the vibe of the place is soothing. I got the XXL breakfast burrito and it was reallllly good. I've only been here once so I'm planning on trying other things too but this will be one of my go to's for sure. And something else too, the prices are pretty good, especially for the quality of the food. I also got served quickly. I would DEFINITELY come here again, no questions about it.

Yelp
ZERO STARS IF I COULD! This place is fucking nastyyyy! I mean nasty!!! It's dirty as hell, the waiters aprons are dirty, they wear clothes that don't fit. Sweating like crazy wiping their sweat and eyes out with hands and then the lady had the nerve to come up and touch my babies face without permission just grazed her face like a weirdo! This is so weird and nasty we got weird vibes, the food was terrible. I felt uncomfortable, and dark vibes from the women who touched my daughters face. You're honestly lucky, because I should have went off on this damn nasty ass lady. don't you ever touch someone else's child without permission.

Yelp
My family and I had a pleasant time at this family owned restaurant. We had 3 different dishes and each were delicious. The food here is authentic and has a homemade taste. The family is very attentive and friendly. We will be back! Recommend the kitchen sink omelet and chilaquiles w/ asada.
google avatar

Rigo V.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed in the food. We ordered through grubhub and the instructions were not followed in one order and the items on another plate were poorly made and didnt give an of the extra sauce i asked for. Only thing that was okay was eggs bacon.eggs and pancakes that we got for our son. Didnt enjoy the quesadilla nor the chilaquiles plate. Wont be ordering from again.
google avatar

Lilly C.

Yelp
This is a small family owned diner. I found out about it through a community group on social media. The chilaquiles are delightful!!!! I prefer the red sauce chilaquiles with an egg on top. Menudo is my parents favorite as well as the omelet chilaquiles. Since finding this place, its become one of our places to take friends and family for a delicious breakfast.
