Orlando’s 18 Best Cocktail Bars | Eater Miami

Google
Had one of the best cocktails (& cheese!) of my life. Definately worth it and would be my favorite spot for cocktails if I was from the city. Great atmosphere, the songs were amazing and the service is exceptional. Thank you, guys!

Google
Bell Hop is easily one of my favorite cocktail bars in Orlando. Their espresso martini is hands down one of the best in the city, it is perfectly balanced and smooth. The service is super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a go-to spot for a night out with a touch of sophistication.

Google
The Bellhop has a welcoming, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax. The music is at just the right volume—enough to enjoy without shouting over it. Drink prices are fair, and the staff made me feel right at home as I sat at the bar during a solo night out. I actually ended up coming back the next night. It’s the kind of spot you appreciate for not being overcrowded—no need to yell just to have a conversation.

Google
Great experience! Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the hotel theme as a hotel worker. Watched the staff making various homemade syrups with fresh fruit and ingredients. Would definitely come back if in the Orlando area

Google
Fantastic vibe and extremely nice and knowledgeable bartenders! Connor made our first (but certainly not last) visit very memorable. Looking forward to coming back!

Andrea Díaz

Google
The drinks were amazing! We ordered two drinks from the happy hour menu. The service was excellent, the bartenders were friendly and the ambience was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Google
Dasia is a phenomenal bartender. She made so many phenomenal drinks, I highly recommend going to see her. The atmosphere in here is so cool.

Google
I’ve never had a bad time when I’ve come here. Atmosphere is divine. The staff is friendly and personable. The drinks are MAGICAL!! Connor is a wizard when it comes to the menu. A true work of art. This is a must visit for anyone who likes artisan drinks in Orlando!

Yelp
Very unassuming cocktail bar within the Entertainment District of downtown Orlando. This used to be a Subway restaurant, and that will forever make me laugh. The interior decor is something straight out of dark academia (minus the taxidermy and oddities). It's extremely tasteful, cozy, and straight up out of a West Elm (dark & haunted) magazine. They have one of the best allocated bourbon selections downtown, the service is friendly, and the menu is laid out as it is. The vibe current n a Friday night at quarter til midnight - chillhop music, good vibes, and overall a place id love to bring friends for a night out.

Yelp
My first visit to Bellhop was for a quick drink one night while downtown and I had to great espresso martini, but I didn't get to stay too long and enjoy the ambiance. I've been wanting to go back since, and I was so happy to learn that they're now open as a coffee shop during the day! I had a coffee meeting with a friend there this week and WOW, what a great place to work remotely and get some work done. They serve Wavelength Coffee and Rosie Lee Tea. The decor is beautiful and there's plenty of cozy seating areas, as well as a connected lobby area with additional tables. I ordered the Salty Beaches drink which is a blend of coconut, mocha, butterfly blue pea flower tea, and cold oat salted caramel foam -- YUM! This is now my go-to chill spot in the heart of downtown.

Yelp
I absolutely love the Bellhop! The vibes are immaculate! The theming is so detailed and classy. The hotel theming, fun furniture, and artful design create a high end but comfortable space to enjoy amazing mixed drinks. Our server was amazing! She checked on us regularly and gave great recommendations. I enjoyed the Bees Knees and an espresso martini. Both were well crafted and delicious. I loved the carefully curated aesthetic, fantastic service, and yummy cocktails. We'll definitely be back for more!

Yelp
This place is smack in the middle of down town bar neighborhood. It is a very cozy place with plenty of seating. Bartender was very friendly and knows his stuff. The decor was eclectic. Music was ok.

Yelp
Stopped by Bellhop for a drink & had a great experience. Taylor was our bartender and he's fantastic! I ordered the Hemingway Daquiri and it was the perfect amount of tart & sweet. He helped me pick it and it was exactly what I was looking for. The vibe inside is sexy speakeasy and we loved it. Not like your typical downtown Orlando bar, which is what we look for now. They have music playing but you can still hear the people you're with to have a conversation. Thank you! Definitely a spot we'll hit when we're back in the downtown area.

Yelp
Quite little bar in downtown Orlando. R&B music playing in the background and live DJ at 9pm. They serve drinks only NO FOOD not even lite bites but the drinks are outstanding and strong. They offer cocktails, speciality drinks, wines and craft beers. You can sit at the bar or at several of the sofas available. We sat at one of the sofas and it felt so comfortable, like being home in your living room. The decore is so eclectic and great photo opportunities. Our server Carly was excellent. She made us feel welcomed, described the speciality drinks for us, made recommendations based on our taste Of, and she was on point. We will definitely be visiting this place again when we're downtown Orlando. Check it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
An absolutely gorgeous, swanky and vintage-style cocktail lounge that is such a breath of fresh air to the downtown Orlando bar scene. I visited during the day when it was dead inside, but would love to return at night when the lighting is dim and the vibe is better. I ordered an espresso martini, which wasn't on their cocktail menu, and it was very well made and tasted delicious. The staff was very welcoming, friendly & accommodating. I'm looking forward to returning on my next visit and experiencing this stunning spot in the evening!

Yelp
Beautiful bar and beautifully decorated. Bartenders were super attentive and great. Drinks were on point.

Yelp
The Bellhop is a new bar off of Wall Street in downtown Orlando. Don't be scared off by the location (since most bars on Wall Street tend to be dirty/trashy). This bar is more upscale than the rest around it. It's a great cocktail bar. Low lighting, great atmosphere. They have put in great effort to tie in all aspects of the bar's decor to stay on theme. It's very unique! My boyfriend and I both loved our cocktails. I ordered a Bee Knees (my favorite cocktail) and even though it wasn't on their menu, the bartender made it perfectly. My boyfriend got an Old Fashion and was very impressed. We wanted to continue to get refill after refill but since we were driving home we had to show some restraint. I would 100% recommend this bar to check out! And I will be back again!

Yelp
Nice lounge to grab a cocktail downtown. The decor is nice. This is a cool and unique place.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
I must say that the attention to details and decor were amazing in this lounge. I've never seen carpets hanging from the ceiling. I also loved the ostrich feather chandeliers. This place was gorgeous and uniquely designed from wall to ceiling. Not to mention the bartenders know what they are doing! We tried off the menu concoctions by both bartenders and they were so refreshing and yummy with the perfect amount of alcohol adding to the flavors. Their juices and everything are made of the highest quality ingredients and it shows! Such a beautiful place to capture memories.

Yelp
Bellhop is a beautiful Bar to visit in Orlando! The decor is outstanding with plenty of couch and bar seating. It's a really nice vibe for friends and couples. The music is also sooo great and fun to dance to! Drinks are made quick here and AMAZING! Highly recommend getting the espresso martini and gin mule but you truly can't go wrong with any drink. Just know the drinks are between $13-$20 each Bartenders are quick and nice!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite bar downtown, no questions asked. Their drinks are top notch, their bartenders are legit mixologists, the decor and and ambiance fits the "bell hop" theme, and you literally cannot go wrong. If you're here, look for Nicolina to be your bartender, because she is definitely the best this place has to offer. If she's not here, literally go anywhere because they're all amazing (Nicolina is just above amazing). Tell them what you like, try something on the menu, whatever. You literally can't go wrong. I don't give 5 stars lightly, but they have earned it every time I have been here.

Yelp
I don't even remember the name of this drink, I just know it was absolutely delicious. I've been meaning to find the name of this place for so long, I just kept forgetting and forgetting until this afternoon I finally was driving down orange, and remembered to put this review in while finding out the name of this place. I went with a few friends a few months back, and the music was absolutely great along with a few drinks that we had . We haven't been back cents, but it's definitely a place I will go in the short future now that I remember the name of it. I recommend anyone reading this review to do the exact same.
google avatar

Heidi B.

Yelp
The bartender had very little knowledge of cocktails, and they couldn't even make the drink I ordered because they didn't have a full bar. The ambiance is beautiful, but they didn't take it all the way.
google avatar

Megann H.

Yelp
Came inl and asked for an espresso martini and the bartender, critian, was more than welcome to make them. We were interested in rum and they gave us a sample of beenieigh rum which is a perfect rum to sip on. Overall the experience was very appealing and comfortable. We loved siting and talking with the bartenders.

Yelp
Heyyyyyyyy you guyssssss! Let's get into it-the decor is stunning, creative and classy! It's almost as though your swept away into another world during your visit. Mark the master mixologist is an entire vibe in his cocktails. What an absolute pleasure stumbling upon this magnificent gem. Don't walk run, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Very cute spot in DT Orlando. Love the way that it's decorated - they play good music and there is plenty of space. I visited during the day and I was excited to see that they had several options for H.H. I also went for a birthday party and I arrived early enough to reserve a spot - the staff was super friendly and allowed me to do so. Lindsey, made me a couple of cocktails that weren't on the menu and I truly enjoyed them. Only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because of the location. The place is lovely and we needed more cocktails bars downtown but being next to Wall Street, where it's super rowdy is kind of a bummer.
google avatar

Ralph E.

Yelp
As many have noted this is a visually beautiful bar, albeit on the small side. The prices are on the upper side of what you might expect for a prime downtown location. The drinks were tasty and prepared well. I think the variety of drinks and the creativity will improve. Our bartender was "effective". We ordered and he answered a few questions and that was about all the interaction was with him. Nothing wrong with that but if you were looking for a vibe or atmosphere, I would say this is a quiet introspective place. People have mentioned date night and I would offer maybe a business drink. Downtown is a pretty competitive space and Bellhop seems to have it's own niche. Perhaps it is a niche that you like.

Yelp
New place that opened recently and stopped in early evening one night. They were working on a photo shoot on one side of the bar, but it was not busy so able to grab some stools at the bar. The bartenders greeted us promptly and offered a menu to review. One bartender was working on some prep work and the other was there to take our order. I asked for an opinion between the two drinks if they had tried them both and was told it really is a matter of taste. I totally understand that, but was looking for a little more guidance. The other bartender offered their thoughts so I ended up with the Mia's Chronicles. It was a good drink, but a little spicy for my preference. Drinks were on the upper end of pricing, but they were unique and offered a quiet/mellow vibe in downtown.

Paloma G.

Yelp
This bar is absolutely gorgeous and a welcome reprieve from the usual downtown craziness. Impeccably designed decor which align with the delicious cocktails crafted from one of the best mixologists on the block. Highly recommend the Espresso Martini and their variation of the Old Pal (a bitter cocktail, fyi)
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
They recently opened, taking over the old Subway on the corner of Wall St and Orange Ave. The space is beautifully decorated with hotel themed touches, each corner even more adorable than the last. They serve elevated cocktails that are pretty to look at and also delicious! In hand -- Queen's Park Swizzle, also ordered was Pimp's cup.
google avatar

Breana B.

Yelp
I love this bar already! Right by wallstreet plaza is this upscale bar/lounge with a speakeasy vibe The bartenders made some great drinks. And the vibe of the place was very nice. I ordered the Mezcal drink and also got a mezcal old fashioned either rosemary and it was soo good! I'll be back for sure very soon. The decor is beautiful
google avatar

Jesy T.

Yelp
This place caught my eye while downtown and stopping in did not disappoint. I loved the aesthetic in here like a modern boho and the vibe was so calm. I opted for the "making my way downtown" after asking the bartender what she recommended and her recommendation was definitely a 10/10. This drink is refreshing and taste sweetly of coconut so think tropical (but not overbearingly sweet). I wasn't here for long, but I enjoyed my time here. I'll definitely be stopping by again for maybe a drink or two.. maybe a couple ig pics also. I'd recommend this place for a date or to grab drinks with your friends and chat a bit. Super cute place in the midst of crazy downtown!
google avatar

Kadeem S.

Yelp
The drinks were great, they were out of certain ingredients due to the new years surge, the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and creative with drink suggestions and unique creations to make up for the missing ingredients. Went on a Tuesday evening and the it wasn't crowed. Perfect place for an intimate date or friend outing
google avatar

Yoel G.

Yelp
This place is very elegant and has a great vibe. I was here in a late Friday night . Unfortunately they do not have table service so you had to go to the bar and wait to order . The cocktails menu was very reduced but drinks were good. I think this place has everything needed to be a place to be and not to miss but it need some work.
google avatar

Kristine P.

Yelp
Great cocktail bar in place of the old Subway near Wall St. The ambiance and decor is spot on. Their cocktail menu seems to be their own names for drinks that already exist but they were tasty. The also offer canned beer and seltzers and have a wine list.

Kathi W.

Yelp
We tried to go on Saturday, March 9th; we were celebrating my husband's birthday over the course of the weekend. Everything we read said they would be open at 6 pm. We arrived at 6:10 pm to locked doors. Some lights appeared to be on, but it was clear that no prep had been done. There was even a dolly with some sort of large container sitting off to one side. We called the number and got a voicemail that gave no indication of a change in schedule or other issues. It simply told us to leave a message. It looks really cool inside, we wanted to experience it. We've since heard they may be closing for good???
google avatar

Leah H.

Yelp
Bellhop kindly hosted the celebration I threw for my husband's nursing school graduation/our moving away party. The space is beautiful! They have a dedicated area for hosting of small or large private events. The staff was amazing! They were super helpful with the entire set up process. The drink menu and the spirit selection is marvelous. Our friends and family were throughly impressed. 10/10! Oh & ask for Matt, he is the BEST.
google avatar

Moriah L.

Yelp
Good drinks and good vibes. Love the decor here, it's a really nice vintage vibe, very Wes Anderson. The bathrooms are clean, the service is good, and the drinks are yummy. The music isn't overwhelming at all. Just a really nice environment all round, would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Amanda Patricia G.

Yelp
The drinks are amazing . The service was normal. But the best part of this place is the environment, have an excellent vintage decoration, the roof is covered with carpets and in the back there is a whole wall made of suitcases. It is definitely a place to visit in Orlando. Love it
google avatar

Soniya P.

Yelp
The Bellhop is one of the newer bars to DT Orlando and I think it's a fantastic addition. I love the atmosphere and design through and through. It's sophisticated and very inviting. The drinks are delicious here but so far I have only had a few of their espresso martinis - which were fabulous. I found the seating arrangement to be plentiful and very comfortable. I can definitely see this bar becoming of my regulars when I head DT for a night out.
google avatar

Calvin W.

Yelp
I see that this place has alot of positive reviews. I wish I could give it one aswell. But I'm one of the few I guess that had bad luck. I'm visiting from out of town and thought that this place looked like a nice chill place to get a drink. I entered with my date, she went to the bathroom. I stood at the bar waiting for 10-15 mins and not one person acknowledged me. I know bartenders can get busy but it was only 6 people in there. Atleast say I'll be with u in a moment or something. Didn't get that. Left and took my business elsewhere.
google avatar

Dominic B.

Yelp
I live downtown, and this is my favorite bar for an after work or pre-dinner cocktail. I don't really do the party scene anymore, so I don't know how it gets late-night on weekends, but it's very chill every time I go. Love the big comfy furniture, and cozy vibes. The cocktails are great, and the bartenders are friendly and quick.
google avatar

Ana G. B.

Yelp
Such a cool place to hangout with friends or for date night! Very chill and the drinks are delicious. If you're looking for a refeeshing drink I recommend the Gin Gin Mule

Delaney B.

Yelp
Wouldn't come back here. The bar was half empty on a Saturday night after a big soccer game, and they turned away our business because my boyfriend was in joggers.

Crystal M.

Yelp
I hosted a private event here and the experience was beyond amazing to say the very least. The team at Bellhop created an incredible ambiance and atmosphere for my guests and I. This all elevated the experience for everyone. Thank you to each and everyone of the Bellhop team and much thanks to Mark for being a big part of making this experience unforgettable.
google avatar

Lana A.

Yelp
Love the cocktails. The atmosphere is nice, semi dimmed lights, place is very nice and neat
google avatar

B T.

Yelp
Very nice ! Drinks were delicious. It's pricey but worth it. it's right next to Wall Street.

Rokujo M.

Yelp
Really beautiful bar, classic decor, strong drinks, quiet, not rowdy. Only problem is no food. We had to leave to go elsewhere for food.

Michael M.

Yelp
Bellhop now offers coffee Mon thru Fri until 3pm! Tried it today, Iced Lavender Latte, and it was really good! The young lady working was knowledgeable, engaging, and pleasant to speak with! Overall great atmosphere, employee, and location if you are in Downtown Orlando!
google avatar

Summer D.

Yelp
This lounge has a really nice ambiance. Would be a nice hangout for the sophisticated & matute crowd. The drinks are a little pricey, but the location is great! Its located downtown near a ton of other bars & restaurants.
google avatar

Nifer S.

Yelp
Great new bar. Love the hotel lounge vibes. Good cocktails. Good service on a busy Saturday night.
google avatar

Janine R.

Yelp
Great cocktails but not crazy about the high amount of ice they put in some of their signature drinks. But overall amazing.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Beautiful environment! Love the decor This would be a great spot for a date. I had the daily vitamin cocktail and it was delicious and refreshing. Sadly I missed the happy hour but will definitely be back to try some of the signature cocktails. Located near Wal street and some other great spots pop in here and give it a try!

Kent W.

Yelp
I want to first start by saying that my friend raved about her experience here and asked me to come try it out . We arrived today at about 950pm. The security guard was like he can't enter with his slides , so I asked can she come in with her flip flops and he said yes . I scratch my head. Why is the rules different for males and females. My friend asked if there was anything that can be done and the security guard said no and to be honest I was already turned off. I have no issue with restaurant having rules ,My issue lied when the rules are discriminatory against somebody's gender , sexual orientation and of course age . I never understood why restaurant would focus on someone foot wear but that's just me . I really wish I had a chance to experience all the amazing things that people left in the reviews below but unfortunately tonight wasn't the night .
google avatar

Vinicius P.

Yelp
Great new spot in downtown Orlando! Cocktails were fantastic and vibe was great! Music was a little too loud but they just opened so completely understandable that they're still figuring it all out. Gin gin mule was our favorite! It was pretty much like a mojito but with a touch of ginger beer. Other than that, the Espresso Train, and Daily Vitamin were also great! Love the decor inside, well thought out! Can't wait to go back

Michael R.

Yelp
Who knew a dive bar could look so nice. It's overpriced and pretentious. I don't often hope for a place to go out of business, but I'm particularly offended that the "doorman" quickly singled out my sandals as the reason my friends and I couldn't even enter the door to this establishment, let alone spend money in there. That's probably why it was empty on a Friday night. Go somewhere where they actually appreciate your business.
google avatar

Stone M.

Yelp
The bartender is very rude, and overall service was horrible. Sad because the place looks nice, we will not be returning.
google avatar

Louis L.

Yelp
Upscale place that tries really hard. No shorts allowed, when it is so hot out. Drinks are overpriced, there are better spots in downtown that are much better than this one. They were empty and didn't have any guest either.
