Yelp
Horrible service + arrogant staff = absolute no-go! We waited for more than half an hour for our drinks and when we asked gently how much longer it would take the staff proposed us very rudely that - if we were unhappy- we might as well just leave, which we decided to do then. The bartender seemed busy insulting guests, no wonder that the drinks did not arrive. Overall ridiculously horrible experience, the staff succeeded to make us all feel very unwelcome. Never again!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service. The libations and food were excellent. I had the steak sandwich. The steak was perfectly cooked. Will be recommending this bar to my friends in Chicago.

Yelp
Bellmans is my go to for a late night drink. The effortless magic of it draws you in and keeps you there so I often find myself decompressing from a night out in some of Kreuzberg's more bombastic watering holes. It can be quite busy in the early evening, only dispersing at 11 or 12, so if you're passing on the way home at 2 or 3 you can always get a table to greet the morning from. They're open late, so don't worry about only just settling down to then be moved along, I'm left as late (early) as 7 before. The beers on tap and wines behind the bar are always good and though more expensive than drinks in other bars, but as it's never too loud I find myself enjoying tipples at a far more leisurely pace. Come in, let your eyes adjust and enjoy whiling away the hours in comfort and seclusion.

Yelp
This is hands down the best bar in Berlin. Yes, there's still smoking here, so beware! But: drinks are awesome, the staff is great, you will hear everything from Tom Waits to the Beatles to Ramones here. This is the kind of place that I moved to Berlin for.

Yelp
Really great bar. The environment is super chill, lighting is perfect, the music is at the right volume, staff is very nice and respectful, also spontaneous bartender that can flow with your own drink ideas. Open till late even on a Sunday. Worth checking out

Yelp
This is a really chilled-out spot that was right by the place we stayed in Berlin. It has what seems to be the preferred vibe for bars in Berlin: simple, warmly lit and calm. I had a delicious Moscow Mule, but it was €7,50 - yikes! I guess I will never get over how expensive cocktails are in this country...but a ,5 liter beer is only €3, so I can't complain too much. If you're in the area, check it out!

Yelp
Great little bar in 1920s style although for some reason they seem to never have enough staff on duty, so you can be a while waiting for your drinks

Yelp
It's a pitty to know that one of our favorite bars in Berlin is now hiring people with issues against foreigns. A blond waitress named Helena, was not only extremely rude to a group of people of all nationalities, she did not let us sit on an available table outside because of this. Even all of the other tables outside where full with german guests, we were the only ones not allowed to sit there. "Because of the neighbours she said. It seems the neighbours don´t mind if the people sitting there speaks german? We even offer to divide the group in smaller groups of three people... for wich the answer was " I do not have to give any explanations to you, if you don't like it you are welcome to go some place else" A huge disappointment and an impressive example of dangerous mentality in the center of Berlin!
