Our last meal stop before the airport was here, nestled in a picturesque intersection in Polanquito.
If you are a struggle bus American who has done a poor job of breaking the Don't Speak More Than One Language stereotype (as we have thus far )...they have an English menu for you! **More on this phenomenon in other reviews**
The waiter was extra, extra attentive.
They have a plethora of creative tacos to choose from, which we did and enjoyed immensely. Don't worry about which ones we had--I have a strong feeling that they're all fabulous. But you know what was even more fabulous? The VEGETABLES!! They were simple, yet flavorful and perfectly cooked. Which to me, means more on the underdone side. You've lost all the nutrients when they cook the hell out of your veggies. And if you've been eating all the tacos--admit it--you could use some roughage by this point!
One thing to note: If you want to get through your meal without being approached for donations very constantly, you might want to sit inside. I'm not wealthy, but everything is relative, and I hate to think of people struggling, so I constantly wanted to keep giving away our pesos. That's not the best setup for a peaceful meal, however. It was our first time in that specific area, so this may be common at all the restaurants over there. Idk. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful, worthwhile experience. Recommend.
