The 10 Best New Restaurants in Vancouver | Eater

"B&W ticks all the sports-bar boxes with foosball tables, hoops, skee ball in a back room, and vast TV screens. But it’s really more of a neighborhood pub, complete with funky playlist, two dozen rotating beer and cider taps, a wrap-around patio, and a thoughtful menu of pub classics done right from the local, sustainable, ethically raised food champs behind city faves such as Wildebeest and Bufala. Skip the burger and head for the ahi tuna grilled sandwich, and definitely leave room for the creamy soft serve ice cream." - Nikki Bayley

I love this place and the food is tasty the but food is insanely expensive. We got a kid sized plate of fries and 4 chicken fingers for $18. Bruh. Give me adequate damn tenders or at least medium sized fries, or get out. HAND FOR SCALE. Bad vibes.

My favorite things here are definitely the nachos and the smash burgers—they’re unreal. The Korean ribs are amazing too. I’ve been coming since they opened, not as often as I’d like, but I truly love this place. Can’t wait to come back again!

Been here a bunch both with and without kids. Super kid friendly though. Food is pretty damn good although creeping on overpriced. Decent beer selection, nice big screens if sports is your thing. Calamari , awesome but 20 bucks. Burgers, awesome, but 22+ . Happy hour is pretty lame, no actual deals to be had so wouldn’t bother for that. They do have a fun games area, with pinball, ms. PAC man tabletop multiplayer as well as skeet ball and a basketball one.

Cool bar with a few arcade activities to play. Tried the dine out menu tonight and thought it was okay. Got the spinach dip, cod burger and the twist flavour ice cream. I wasn’t a fan of the burger at all. I did not like the cheese in it, it tasted like low quality store bought processed cheese. Other than that the spinach dip and ice cream were decent.

This was honestly my favorite spot for chicken wings in all of Vancouver. There’s something special about this place—their buffalo wings might just be the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’m from the South, where fried food is king. I don’t live in Vancouver anymore, but I wanted to share how amazing the wings are, paired with a fantastic beer selection. It’s the perfect place to hang out with friends or catch a Canucks game.

Had reservations on a Sunday at 11:30 am, and it wasn’t too full. It became quite full by the time we left at 1 pm. Friendly service, though we had to ask three times for a high chair. Had our drink and food orders placed in a timely fashion. It felt like the food took a while to come, but it came at a perfect time for us. Our table had the Club Med Salad, Chopped with Cheese, mushroom omelette, fried chicken Benedict, kids waffles, and a side of onion rings. The club med salad was missing some chick peas, but otherwise tasty. The chopped with cheese was a bit salty. Omelette was perfect. Fried chicken Benedict was very good, and perfect for sharing. Kids waffles were also good, though it only came with syrup and no icing sugar. Onion rings were “better than Burger King” (I didn’t personally try them as I’m not a fan of onion rings. We also had a couple Caesars to drink, and that was really well mixed. My partner usually prefers their Caesars without Worcestershire sauce. We’d forgotten to ask them to hold the sauce, but he liked it so much he asked for a second. Overall, not perfect, but VERY close. Will return for more drinks in the future. They had a wall full of microbrew to choose from.

As an Irish traveler, this was the perfect place to visit. The staff truly care about their customers, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everyone was incredibly kind, and the whole experience was amazing. I would highly recommend it, though it's in high demand for both families and friends. I’m truly grateful for their hospitality and generosity.❤️❤️
