Bellys Bar N Grill

The food took a long time to be prepared, we waited for over half an hour. The seafood platter was served in a fish and chips style, and all the fried items were overly greasy, heavy, and lacked seasoning. The meat could have been more flavorful. On a positive note, the sauces were quite tasty overall, and the smoked salmon was delicious.

Well what a nice suprise. I was really impressed with this restaurant in Latrobe located approximately 8km from Devonport. First visit to Belly's Bar n Grill for brunch this morning. Nearly a full restaurant tucking into a hot breakfast and a pot of T. Servers Talei and Ava were polite, attentive and professional. Well priced and delicious breakfast, wheel chair accessibly front and rear of premises. I will return on my next visit to Latrobe.

Very sweet folks serving some excellent grub. We had fried squid (delicious), a soup of the day, grilled flathead and downed it with a bottle of Pinot Gris. Bliss.

The food is exceptional, and the customer service is outstanding. The slow-cooked lamb and stuffed chicken are the best I've had in Australia. I nearly visited every day during my trip there. It's truly a top-notch restaurant.

the nearly 40 dollar price tag on the pork belly + the place literally being called ‘bellys’ set a very high bar for me. anything less than ‘exceptional’ was gonna be a disappointment. but they actually did it!!! the pork is perfectly crispy and delicious, the mashed potato was made to perfection. i can’t believe I’m endorsing a meal thats nearly double what i would pay for it, but they managed to pull it off. come here on a special occasion, and try that pork, you’ll see what I mean.

*** PSA - make a booking *** The food is great! There is an extensive menu with a dedicated vego/vegan page as well as plenty for the kids. Enjoyed my experience so much that I'm heading back for dinner again in a few weeks. WOW, that cob loaf was sensational!! And we loved the way it was served. Also had the twice cooked pork belly and the mixed grill this time. We were not disappointed. Belly's Parmi night this week hit the spot. Not just a standard parmi special, but 5 to choose from. I had the Firecracker (pictured) with extra spice and a side salad. Yes it was as good as it looks!! Hubby had the Breaky parmi and rated it too. Nice work Belly's!!

My mum had the baked potato and onion rings and she said they were delicious. My child had the cheeseburger and I had the garden salad and iced coffee. All our meals were fresh and yummy. The waitress was lovely and friendly. Room for a wheelchair. And disabled toilet too.

I can see why this place is recommended. Friendly, welcoming staff, great selection of food and wines. If someone hadn't told me about it, i would have walked right past. I had the crumbed scallops with potato and veg (they come 3 ways and with chips and salad if you want). Absolutely delicious! Thank you

The food is very good at Bellys. Eaten here many times and can not fault them at all. Highly recommended and reasonable price for really good food.

I have eaten here many times. The food is always excellent. They do great evening meals and lunches. They also do fantastic value takeaway perhaps the best in the area.

Excellent meals. Especially the bacon and egg all day breakfast. The bacon is cooked to crispy perfection to give you that satisfying crunch when set upon by hungry teeth!

Very good food. The dining room is very noisy though, thanks to its acoustics, and desperately needs some soft furnishings or coverings to baffle the noise.

Have had many meals here and not one of them bad. Fish and yummy, big, beer battered chips are amazing and these are the best in Latrobe. Also the chicken ceaser salad is the best I have had. Prices are good as well and to me very reasonable. Staff are lovely.
