This hotel is Amazing! The rooms are lovely, clean, and well kept. The staff is the greatest! From the front desk, to the bar, to the pool, the facility members make sure you feel right at home and taken care of. The view of downtown from the property is phenomenal. This is the best place to stay, when you are on Dallas.

Historic hotel that has seen better days. Staff friendly and helpful, but there is not much vitality here. Seems past it’s prime. With the absence of Smoke and the Lobby Bar it was completely dead on a Friday. The room was adequate but seemed dated. It’s that critical moment to figure out vitalization or end up closing.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We wanted something different, nice, and fairly-priced. We found the Belmont to be a perfect destination for us. The ambiance of the hotel is definitely retro, mid-century modern--both in architecture and decor. We stayed in the basic room, and found the room to be nice, simple, and very clean. The bathroom was also very clean and nice. There is original tile in the bathrooms, which is nice, as this is a historic building. The landscaping and pool area were fantastic and immaculate with great views of the Dallas skyline. The hotel's restaurant, Smoke, was also a real treat to experience. In addition to all of this, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. A side note: While it is a luxe place, it was not stuffy or snobby, which is a nice element to have in a place to lay your head.

We stayed for two nights. We were there for training with our Therapy Dog. The room was awesome. Bed very comfortable. They were very considerate of our Therapy Dog. Great view from our room. I didn't like the parking or the cramped bathroom. Other than that this was a great hotel and we will use it again!

We had a two story room with the bedroom upstairs and the best view of the Dallas Skyline. We were just steps from the fabulous pool. Everyone was professional and kind. Free coffee in the mornings! The bar was small but there was plenty of room to spread out and visit including a screened in porch. Great value for the price. We will come again! Pet friendly!

Great view and staff! We stayed only one night during our 23 hours layover in Dallas. It was my first time in town and I absolutely loved it. The hotel has a great vibe. Way better then all the chain hotels that are all the same... and the bar run by the Smoke restaurant and the restaurant itself are just great.

Great place for a staycation. The throwback decor and facilities are fun to experience but very comfortable. The best panoramic view of downtown Dallas we have ever found and the food from Smoke is outstanding. The service was good everywhere except for the front desk. All of them had acted like they were doing us a favor when we checked in or asked questions during the weekend. A smile on your face could go a long way.

Overpriced, cheap rooms. When I arrived there was no running water for over half the day, so I wasn’t able to shower when I arrived from the airport before an event I had that night. They dropped this bomb on me, didn’t offer me any compensation or even an apology, and then didn’t even have the courtesy to help me take my bags to my room. The enamel in the tub is completely peeling off (see photo). The room is covered in wall to wall carpeting that looks like it’s been here since the 80’s. All of the furniture is nicked and scratched. And on top of all that, they charged me a $70 pet fee to protect this broken, old room. Given this lack of customer service and poor quality product, I would not recommend. The only redeeming quality is the view, you can stop by and see that in less than 15 minutes. Don’t waist your money.
