LA Chef Timothy Hollingsworth Opens New York Restaurant in Queens | Eater NY

"An open-air, newly built luxury retail and dining destination that opened in October as part of Belmont Park, the village sits adjacent to the racetrack and the Islanders arena and houses designer shops including Vivienne Westwood, Thom Browne, Missoni, and Lacoste. The development is positioned as part of a broader trend of restaurants connected to retail, paralleling projects like the food court at Nordstrom, the Stephen Starr–run cafe at Louis Vuitton, and dining spaces at Printemps, with other high-fashion retailers eyeing similar food offerings." - Melissa McCart

Wow. What a beautiful place. It’s as if a hidden oasis just popped up right next to the Cross Island Parkway. Less than 20% of the stores-all high end-have opened as yet, but it seems as if every spot is rented. Tree and bench lined, wide walkways, with upholstered chairs available as well. The most beautiful bathrooms I have seen are sprinkled throughout, and the parking-five levels indoor, plus an outdoor lot-is (so far) free. Pleasant, unobtrusive security is present, and pleasant, helpful employees. A really elegant outdoor center. ♿️

Belmont Park Village is a beautiful new open-air shopping and dining spot right next to UBS Arena. It’s part of the Bicester Collection, so it has that chic European outlet vibe with wide walkways, pretty landscaping, and a mix of designer stores and great restaurants. Everything feels super clean and well-kept, and it’s just nice to stroll around. Everyone I’ve met there has been so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. You can tell they really take care of the place and want it to feel special. There are still new shops opening, and I can’t wait to come back and see what’s next. It’s such a nice addition to the area.

I came by just to check it out. Nice spot for an afternoon stroll. It's still developing as only a handful of stores were up and running with more stores openings soon. It was peaceful and quiet with only a few people walking around. The parking lot off the Cross Island Parkway was easily accessible but small. I'm assuming the main parking lot is on the other side. It's a nice spot with plenty of spaces to sit and chill after a day of shopping or before an event at UBS Arena !

Google
What a beautiful mall. The best employees work here. At our time of visit they had a soft opening. A lot of stores won’t be opening for a few months. Worth the trip even if you’re just visiting New York. Right across from the UBS Colosseum.

Google
It’s new, clean, fresh and has some lovely stores. Not all stores are open (spring-summer 2025), but we had a great shopping experience. The concierge was nice and welcoming, and the staff were friendly.

Google
A nice and elegant place to walk around, 50% of stores are still not open yet, huge indoor garage with free parking. Specifically, the restroom is amazingly decorated (as the first three photos shown), a must-check!

Google
This is a nice establishment overall. I would say the center is probably 30% occupied at this point, there are still a lot of spaces to be taken so I’m sure when the summer rolls around it will be much more lively. Not to mention, there are some sections in the center that are blocked off completely. It’s a great place to get some steps in and if you just want to mosey around before an event at the arena. The bathrooms are gorgeous.

At 1/3 occupied, things look good. Lively atmosphere, DJ in the evenings, small wine truck, games, families, outdoor dining. More shopping opening soon.

Yelp
Beautiful shopping center!!! It has high end mostly European brands with significant discounts. I was able to get really great prices for bags, shoes, and pants. Because they aren't crowded, the service is amazing! People who work there are really friendly. It felt like personal shopping experience at some of the stores. They do need some additional options (maybe a lifetime gym, waxing center, salons) to attract shoppers. I also wish there was accessibility to the shops from both sides of the street. Currently if I'm coming from east, there's no left turn option into the stores so I end up having to make a u turn! The shops have added a lot to the surrounding working class locations. Hoping the shops' aesthetic extends to the adjacent areas.

Yelp
I came in today so excited about it. There's not many people there or do not know about it, so it's deserted a bit. However, they have great outdoor seating, & should definitely take advantage of that if possible until it becomes popular and there won't be any places to sit, lol. They have a lot of high-end stores all of them are outlets, so all of them are discounted prices. The store I came to see was the Kurt Geiger outlet store, which I loved and I even purchased an item. So definitely happy about that, and we'll definitely return to do some more shopping. Lol. The only issue is had was the wifi/ internet service was really weak. Yelp
This outdoor mall is the best kept secret on the Queens /LI border ! Went today and it was virtually empty . It's across from the USB Arena and Belmont Park . The exit is 26A if you are coming from the cross -Island . There is an outdoor lot and a covered parking lot bit are currently free . If you are taking the L.I.R.R. or Bus Q2 there is a shuttle to get you to the other side wheee the stores are . There's a Valentino , Vivienne Westwood , Tumi ans a host of other stores opening . Not sure if the hours but I can't wait to see this place during the holidays . It's giving Woodbury Commons vibe . The bathrooms are amazing !

Yelp
What a wonderful space that looks like you're walking in a city with a beautiful shopping area. There aren't a lot of stores open now, but so many windows said " opening soon" or "opening spring 2025". We stopped into Tumi, Rains and Swarovski. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a rainy and cold day but the stores were heated nicely inside for us to get warm and look around. The outside areas have beautiful seating and tables and sculptures. There was a small portable coffee stand and they made a tasty latte! I absolutely can't wait to visit again when the weather is nice and more stores are open.

Yelp
This place is really a small village unto itself. It's as if they took Madison Avenue and planted it next to the racetrack: all high end, expensive retailers. And even though I could never dream of buying a $600 shirt, I still loved the place. Free parking indoors or out (for now), this is a really gorgeously designed place. Less than 20% of the stores are currently open, but all the spots seem to be rented. And the bathrooms you pass as you walk along the immaculate, wide paths are the most gorgeous restrooms I have ever seen. I usually rush out of public bathroom, but here, I sat in an upholstered chair in the 'lobby' to wait for my wife. Hoping she would take her time.

Yelp
I absolutely loved what they did at the Belmont Park Village. It's beautiful a lot of shops aren't opened yet but I can tell there's some good shops coming. So far I saw Palm Angels, The NorthFace, LongChamp, Valentino, Lacoste, Roberto Cavali to name a few. The design is super cute, they have dog sculptures, chess tables, lounge chairs & fire pits. There's a concierge service. Parking was free but I don't think it'll stay free. UBS & The Park at UBS is across the street so it's a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
If you build it, the people will come. New mall with a few stores open, but many planned to be opened in 2025. Many well known luxury brand name stores with discounted pricing. So far only a few stores open, Longchamp, Allsaints, Swarovski, Rains, Roberto Cavalli to name a few. Parking is free and plenty. The mall is across the street from the UBS arena. The place is well built and when they eventually open more stores, this place is great to go shopping. Pret a Manger is open for food options and a coffee cart. The staff in the many different stores were all very professional and accommodating.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday to check out the new area. Free parking and pretty empty...FOR NOW. This place is very nicely built. Very clean and lux. It's a very very nice area to walk around and it seems as though they been doing a lot of promotional events. Lunar new year they gave out a coins which were used to roll a wheel for red envelope for various gifts. Most of the stores are currently closed but are expected to open soon, probably in 2 months time. They have various mid to pricey store so depending on the person, you may or may not shop here. Workers all around have been extremely friendly and welcoming. Would suggest people to come check it out while it's free parking!

Yelp
The horses are running in Saratoga while the racetrack itself is being redone. I miss the races. UBS arena is great and the shops at Belmont Park Village are beautiful, if you can afford to shop there. The stores are filled with very high end designers and there are only 2-3 food venues, mostly bougie coffee. I'm not sure who is coming to Elmont to buy $400 sweaters and not eat but good for them!

Yelp
Beautiful place to stroll and shop, aesthetically pleasing. Shops are upper end but well priced. Restaurants are clean and less crowded than mall food courts. Lotsa parking with EV charging available.

Yelp
Early stages and all the stores are not open yet but this place looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! Everything looks great, bathrooms are immaculate and it just feels high end overall.

Yelp
It's new, lits of stores have not opened yet, but it's a nice quiet place and looks cute.

Yelp
Beautiful place but whoever set this place up should have thought this through. It is located in Elmont which is a low to middle class area with people that can't not afford a $300 sweater or $700 shoes. This place should have been built in Oyster Bay or Old Brookville. I did not see anyone (the few people I saw there) with any shopping bags. All the HIGH end stores had sales of 40-60% off (i wonder why - cause they can't sell anything). These stores will close within a 2-3 years since their prices are outrageous. Great place to walk around but thats about it. An espresso from a truck was $5 and it was small as my thumb. What a ripoff.

Yelp
Great Shopping Center. Lots of high end stores looks so fantastic right next to UBS Arena only a few stores are open, but more will be open up in 2025.

Yelp
I can't believe I'm making the first yelp review for Belmont Park Village but this is exciting. Considering I grew up in the area I'm glad they utilized all that unused space to this beautiful shopping village. The parking is free and the garage is huge. I entered the village and I was blown away with how beautiful they made this mall. They have a concierge when you first walk on who explains to you what is in the village that is open and what will be coming. This village is complete luxury and I'm so happy this came right down the block from my house! They are going to be opening a bunch of store around the holidays such as Lacoste, Citizen watches, Baccarat, The North Face store, Islanders merchandise store, Longchamp, Pret A Manger and more! I thought it was going to be like a tanger outlet but this is more similar to the Americana mall in Manhasset. I have to complement the builders on the restrooms. They have family restroom, gender neutral and a room to breast feed which is great for parents. Also, my boyfriend mentioned the mens bathroom has a changing table which is hard to come by but important for single dads with babies. The womens bathroom is gorgeous and I am so impressed with the decor and design of the bathroom. The furniture around the village is beautiful as well and very comfy. They even offer luggage drop off for people who are coming from the airport and shuttles from the LIRR. I can't wait to see everything open and love how they are making a beautiful village in the Elmont neighborhood.

Yelp
My wife and go for our daily walk in Belmont Park almost everyday a stop and have coffee and a muffin at Pret good coffee nice atmosphere .

Yelp
don't waste your time. Barely any stores are open and the stores that are open suck. Very limited and ugly selection. It's always a ghost town. Also, It's like a maze! It's does not flow naturally! One way in and u exit on the other side -- only a one way!

Yelp
This village is amazing the design reminded me of so many places I've been couldn't pin point but so familiar and grand . Jess sorry if I messed ur name concierge was lovely she greeted my friend and myself and when we finished shopping stop by the office and got all the tea .amazing guest services got free hot chocolate it's just grand !! Went there to shop at Swarovski found great inventory and prices . The staff just beyond amazing ! shout out to Andy Mellissa and Amanda who were so great and the service forgetbiutit!! The way my gifts were wrapped and cared for was a service you don't see very often! Went on Saturday Jan 11 weather was miserable or would have stayed longer grabbed a bite a pret manager and sat outside on the fab chairs and tables setup throughout the property! Can't wait for spring to really enjoy ! The only downside when we were leaving there must have been an event Hempstead turnpike was very backed up toward CIP and leaving but I went east back to Long Beach home I knew all the back streets since I grew up in Elmont but just be mindful of that . Many free guest services really accommodating. A must visit to shop and enjoy the village ! Best victoria and my bff Richie who also loved it !
