Yelp
We were pretty pumped about this place, but ended up leaving disappointed. Would probably rate it 3.5 stars, which pains me, because we were stoked about a vegan joint in Dallas.
The maki roll was the best item that we had on the menu. The watermelon is refreshing and the wasabi adds a nice kick.
The brussel sprouts were subpar. They were oily and salty, and could have used some spice. The cantaloupe pizza was surprisingly good, but not extraordinary. We got it because it was the most inventive thing on the menu, but could barely taste the mint. Would not get it again.
The real disappointment came when we tried to credit our parking (website says to park in a certain $5 parking lot which it gives clear instructions to, and they will credit $5 towards your receipt.) The parking on the website was actually $7 or $10 and wasn't working online, so we used the machine in the lot, which charged $5. Our server basically said he could only credit $7 or $10 towards our meal for our parking - but that wasn't reflected online on their website.
Anyways, $70 with tip seemed pretty overpriced for this meal that left us less than satisfied. Maybe would go again, but would probably try other items on their menu, like the mac & cheese, or the grilled cheese. And would probably save room for the chocolate chip cookies. Personally think this place needs to step up their game, might be one of the few vegan joints in Dallas, but it doesn't compare to strong vegan joints in other major cities.
