I wanted to take my wife to a nice plant based restaurant for her birthday and Belse did not disappoint. I can not even begin to describe how absolutely amazing the food was! I have been plant based for over 6 years now and have tried most vegan restaurants in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This place is definitely one of my favorites. It had my taste buds dancing all over the place, me a little in my chair too. I could have probably hugged the chef it was so good. As you can see in the pictures, we tried a variety of dishes, and each one was delicious. Look at this place making me all poetic....it will do that to you trust me. They also surprised my wife with a Happy Birthday desert at the end of our meal which was a very sweet gesture. We both can not wait to go back. If you are looking for a spot for date nights, this is the one. Even if it's not for date nights you should give Belse a try. You will be glad you did.

This is my new favorite restaurant. We didn't get halfway through our meal and we were making plans to come back. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is great and staff is amazing!!! There is indoor and outdoor seating. As fantastic as the food is, Alec made the visit top notch. I've never had a better food server ever!!!! I took lots of pictures of the food. Even critics of vegan food will love this place. Oh, the lemonade, try the lemonade it's the perfect mix of sweet and sour. Yum! The desserts are definitely worth saving room for. The cheesecake and cookies were devoured quickly by us all and we don't usually eat sweets.

I loved the restaurant. It was very pretty and when we went on a Sunday around 11 am we were immediately seated. Chance was our server and he took care of the 6 or so tables that were there himself. We got a mimosa, red wine, a pot of tea(amazing) all the drinks were good. We got the sweet potato empanadas and the lemon poppy waffles to share. The waffles were only slightly warm when they got to the table and the sauce really didn’t add anything to the taste. The empanadas were amazingly savory and not at all what i expected. I also had the burger and fries which were delicious as well. Wasn’t a huge fan of the candied onions but they didn’t take away from the burger. Overall our visit was great for a first time visit. But it left nothing to be desired. Nothing was so good that I’d want to go again to have it. Service as first stated was amazing though!

Google
LOVED THIS PLACE! I was really bummed they took the Ahi off the menu! I have always wanted to try watermelon cooked. I was also bummed that it was brunch only, however, everything was amazing! Great food! Reasonable price. Your typical vegan restaurant price. We will definitely come back. We came for my husbands birthday. The birthday lettering on the cake plate was so pretty! (I'm really bad about taking pics of the food. I get so excited to eat! Lol)

Google
Nice vegan spot downtown. Food was good. Going again soon to try more of the menu. Edit: Been back several times and pretty much tried everything on the menu. My favorite is the spaghetti, it's the bomb! Second is probably the burger and third the flatbread pizza.

Google
This is such a lovely restaurant. I believe it is fully vegan which is awesome. The food and service here is really great! I ordered their burger as well as the empanadas and it tasted amazing!! The burger is probably one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had!!! I will come back to this place for sure!

Google
What can I say!! Belse is absolutely amazing!!!! I’ve been plant based for over a year now. To be able to experience plant based food with wonderful flavors and textures has blessed my life and my palate! Not to mention the lovely staff and chefs, Chance and GM/Chef Alan are extremely friendly and welcoming. This is my second visit and I have not been disappointed. I recommend them to anyone whose simply looking for delicious food. Plants are not rabbit food, it’s food for the body and soul! Charm🌱

Google
This place serves Amazing Delicious Vegan food!!! Chef Billy has a passion for what he does and it shows in every bite of his creations. We had brunch here on Saturday. My husband got the Lemon Poppyseed Waffles and I got the El Nopalito (Just Egg Breakfast Burrito) which we shared 1/2 & 1/2 with each other. They were both Outstanding and paired well together for a savory and sweet meal. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You won’t be disappointed you did!!! Photos don’t do the presentation justice, as they are of what was left when I finally remembered to take a picture. Oh my gosh!!! I was so focused on the food I almost forgot to mention how wonderful our server Grant was. He was very helpful and personable and made our visit a very enjoyable one, as well. This is a great place to eat and we highly recommend it, whether you’re Vegan or not!!! It is THAT good!!! 🥰

Yelp
Had dinner reservations with my bf on Friday evening. The restaurant was chill and there wasn't a crowd. They sat us in the corner with a lovely view, but there was a huge bird poop stain on the window and the table cross from us had leftover dishes from previous patrons. The dishes remained there for almost the entirety of our dinner, which caused lots of bugs/flys hovering over our dinner. My bf & I killed 2 flys while we were there. At one point I had to cover the remaining of my meal with a napkin, so bugs wouldn't get on it. Overall the food & drinks had good flavor. The restaurant overall was clean. Great music played in the background and we were reimbursed on our parking Check out their website for more details on parking.

Yelp
When I heard that a new vegan/vegetarian restaurant at had come to Dallas, I had to check it out! Veg restaurants are few and far between here! This place was excellent overall! When I first walked in, I was enamored with the hipster vibe and chill environment. It was a Friday night and they had live music, which was a nice added touch. The menu is eclectic with lots of tasty options. We ordered the cauliflower tostadas, sweet potato empanadas, fennel flatbread and a salad. All the dishes were excellent, but my favorites were the cauliflower tostadas and sweet potato empanadas. Overall, this is a great addition to the Dallas restaurant scene and a worthy veg spot!

Yelp
This was our first visit here. This was also the first time that my daughter and I convinced my aunt and uncle to try a vegan meal. The meal and our attempt to get them to enjoy a vegan meal was a success! This place is adorable and the food was delicious. The outside seating is a must when days with nice weather.

Yelp
Our second evening meal on our long weekend trip to Dallas, found us at Belse Plant Cuisine. Once again, the past reviewers on Yelp did not let us down. The restaurant is open with nice views of the neighboring park. We started with a shared plate of Sweet Potato Empanadas that were perfectly prepared and very delicious. We both enjoyed our garden salads with fresh greens, tomatoes, cheese and croutons. My wife had the Pesto Pasta that was a generous portion of tasty ingredients and I had the Spaghetti Polpette that was super and would compete favorably with any entree of "Spaghetti and meatballs" at another restaurant serving meat dishes. Our servers were very attentive on a busy Friday night and we look forward to dining here again. By the way, each table has a barcode you scan to access the menu. It is also accessible from Yelp. Enjoy!

Yelp
Great food and ambience. I went for brunch on a Saturday and it was nice and quiet. I walked there so not sure where parking was. I ordered the El Nopalito with sausage crumbles and a Grapefruit Paloma. The burrito was filling, but didn't seem to have much cactus in it. It was great though. I would definitely visit again.

Yelp
Everything is bigger in Texas, or so they say. Well that may be true for the lettuce wrap which overwhelmed my Impossible Burger. I had been looking forward to trying Belse since it was on my way between my hotel and my meeting place this week. However I was disappointed. The photo and description shows sliced creamy chai, sweet best and onion jam, and chili aloi. I chose the lettuce wrap over the bun and Only received a patty and head of lettuce. Good thing I had some veggies and hummus in my hotel room. But I should not have had to rely on my food to complete this dinner.

Bettina B.

Yelp
I ordered from Belse while in town. I am on a Daniel Fast so always looking for places I can eat and still enjoy food. Belse was it! I ordered to go not knowing that parking would be a challenge. Thankfully, they called me I don't remember her name but thank you! She came out to my car to bring my order. She said anytime I order just call and they will bring it out. Now to the food, I ordered the cauliflower tostadas. They were soooo good! The combination with a guacamole base on the tostada. I liked that instead just a dollop on top. The cauliflower was on top with pickled onion and other flavors really good plus their custom sauce - perfection! I had the sweet potato empanadas. These were delicious! The chimichurri dipping sauce was a perfect compliment. I had the flourless chocolate tart was good but good have used more strawberries for me. I will remember for next time. Overall, I will tell others and come back.

Brittney T.

Yelp
Best healthy vegan spot in Dallas! They have such variety in a healthier option! I love their apple sandwich!! It's literally so good (minus the peanut butter)!! The sweet potato empanadas are literally the best empanadas I've had in a minute! This time I got the empanadas (of course) and I tried the pesto pasta. I didn't like that at all so I swapped it for the burger but switched the patty for the chicken and it was super good! Fries bomb! Definitely a must visit whether your vegan or not.

Tammy G.

Yelp
I wanted to try everything! Got the empanadas, yum. Also tried the krab cakes, were not my favorite, 4:10. Love love loved the Brussels sprouts, 9:10. Tried the spaghetti and was a little sweeter than I'd prefer, but still flavorful, 6:10. I also got the mushroom risotto, and was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, 8:10. Looking forward to visiting again and trying other items on the menu. We visited Saturday late afternoon, and restaurant was empty and we had no problem choosing where we wanted to sit. Unfortunately, we waited longer than needed to see our waiter and needed to flag down the hostess to assist. Once we put in our orders we didn't wait long at all for our food to arrive.

Leticia I.

Yelp
Let me just say, I have been a vegetarian for about 6 months now and I live in DC. But this is the best vegetarian food I have ever had. Every single item I got was delicious and I would eat here everyday if I could. Got the empanadas and tostadas for the appetizer and they were perfectly crunchy, fresh, and flavorful. Got the spicy chicken sandwich for my meal and I swore I was eating meat. Everything was so fresh and perfectly flavorful. The ambiance was modern and clean. The host was so nice and gave me many recommendations. Our service was quick and delicious. I would recommend this place to any vegetarian in the Dallas area. 10/10.

Rahat A.

Yelp
This is the kind of vegan restaurant I hate, where they think vegan food has to be bland and unimaginative. Service was fine, but the prices were hardly worth the most mid dishes I've ever seen. I ordered the fries and some of them were undercooked. They even tried to elevate ketchup by adding raspberry but it just tasted weird as hell. The only saving grace was the spaghetti but honestly not worth the price we paid (including parking costs: they only validate $9 off the $20 parking spot). It's harsh but I hope they go out of business and make room for some actual cuisine.

Anna R.

Yelp
Super delicious plant based food! My sister is vegan and we found this restaurant recommended on social media and checked it out. The indoors was adorable and a vibe. I honestly thought I ordered something meat based and was for the non vegan folk. It was PLANT BASED! I got the California wrap and it was great! The chicken was very good, flavors on point and filling. The service was quick, attentive, and kind. I also really like how they offer the service of the QR code to pay so splitting bills you just select what you got and it's super easy. Will definitely be back!

Chanele R.

Yelp
This is such a gem! I wish they would open an Austin location (wink wink). We visited Dallas for two nights and managed to do dinner once and brunch another time. Everything on the menu was killer, but the fennel flatbread was out of this world. I can't even put into words how good that was. And, of course, you have to mention the classic smoky sangria! It is served on a platter with a glass dome that is slowly raised to allow all the smoke out. And the smoky flavor remains in the drink. Total alchemy! I also have to give a shout out to our server, Alec. It was such a kind, funny person. There is also tons of outdoor seating that is pup-friendly. What are you waiting for?!

Jaz M.

Yelp
Delicious watermelon sushi and great service from Grant. I had the pumpkin pesto pasta and mocki roll. Pretty good, asked for salt n pepper before tasting which turned out to be necessary with a consensus from the table. Other than that, pretty good. Do try.

Shannon G.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to visit this lovely vegan restaurant for my daughter's birthday. As you may know there's very few vegan restaurants. But this is one stood out over all the other. We was greeted with a warm smile from Chance. He had the ability to ensure we understood our choices. The food was made to order. We all had the grill vegan burger with fries and a salad. The burger was cooked to perfection.

Alex B.

Yelp
Cute elevated vegan food! Some items are absolutely amazing, others not so much work the price tag. Overall, great price for great food!

Markeye B.

Yelp
I had been seeing Belse all over my Instagram feed and, as a vegan, I knew I had to check it out. While I live in Frisco and had to plan for the trip, I was excited for the experience. While the atmosphere was nice, I couldn't help but feel that it could benefit from some more visually appealing elements - maybe some mango wood chairs or other unique touches. Let's talk about the food and drinks! The drinks were fantastic - my friend had a Moscow mule and I opted for the margarita. Both were expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. We also ordered the fries and fennel pizza, both of which were quite tasty. The fries were especially noteworthy - one pound of deliciousness tossed in pink Himalayan truffle salt and Parmesan, with a side of raspberry chipotle ketchup and a lemon caper aioli dip. Let me tell you, that aioli deserves an award! Overall, Belse is a great spot for anyone looking for some clean eating and a chill vibe. Highly recommended!

Sally C.

Yelp
Hubby and I was on the hunt for some vegan food. Went downtown Dallas to Deep Ellum area to Belse. Walked into a very nice trendy restaurant. The restaurant is open and seating is spacious. We ordered the Fennel Flatbread, Cashew Brussels sprouts, Root Soup , Cali Wrap and to drink the Watermelon drink. That five star goes for everything we ate and drank! The Brussels sprouts were well cooked had a nice spicy sauce drizzled on top, the Root soup ingredients were plentiful and full of flavor. The Cali Wrap extra good, portion size was perfect and it came with macaroni salad. My husband enjoyed both so much when he let me taste it he stressed I was only to get a taste. Lol didn't want me to finish it off. Fennel Flatbread was nice and crispy on the edges with plant based sausage. The seasonings on it made it a huge winner to my taste buds. There is a brunch menu we have to go back and try. Can't wait!

Marybeth S.

Yelp
First off this is the coolest space! Love the decor, layout, lighting, accessories, even the restrooms! Really great vibe. I'd read about the smoked sangria, the presentation and flavor did not disappoint. My server was cute to really play along w my photo taking of it arriving. I ordered the watermelon salad, because I wasn't super hungry and I'm obsessed with watermelon. It was yummy and I loved the dried cherries and nuts. Watermelon was the best I've had this season so far. Service was great. Highly recommend!

Melissa M.

Yelp
Fully vegan restaurant! My dream. Unfortunately, They really tried to make this place fancy, but in the end it wasn't the most amazing vegan dining experience I have had. It's a beautiful location and In downtown Dallas. The food was either too salty or unseasoned/bland. We weren't really impressed. We didn't have much interaction with staff/waiter. The bath room is a bit weird because it's one room with different stalls for all genders, which is invasive but still weird. I do not plan to come back in the future, which sucks because I love a full vegan Upscale restaurant concept.

Jolene J.

Yelp
I came back to celebrate a friend's birthday and am even more in love with their food!! The cauliflower tostadas were packed with flavor, perfect for hot and humid summer nights. Their "pork chop" was equally amazing in terms of flavor. What's more amazing was that my friend found street parking right in front of their restaurant! So don't be afraid to circle around the block for street parking if you can parallel park, it'll be cheaper than the lot parking that's at least 2 blocks away.

Dani S.

Yelp
Wow! This place was amazing and the service was so nice and patient. The food was absolutely great even when having dinner with two friends and myself as a vegetarian, they have all the options for everyone. The setting is dark but in a calming way to relax after a long day in Dallas, can't wait to come back!

Brianna L.

Yelp
Belse Dallas was amazing! The atmosphere and the service was top tier. If you are looking for amazing vegan food whether you are new to veganism or have been a vegan for a while this is your place. My food tasted as if i was eating fried chicken , the flavors were just that amazing! I'd also recommend getting the cookie for dessert.

Joyce C.

Yelp
A little offended that all my Yelp and IG algorithms have been hiding Belse from me. Found this by chance when the carnivores were headed nearby but needed to also feed me. Loved the menu variety- spaghetti, tacos, empanadas, burger, pizza- what else could you want? If they had a sampler platter of their whole menu I would have taken it. Also super helpful that they label allergens and nut free, allium free, gluten and soy free on their menu. Since I would have definitely ordered too much left to my own accord- hubby chose the fennel flatbread and burger and fries. I really enjoyed the flatbread- even held up well on the 20+ minute drive. Burger was solid- I liked the addition of the onion jam- I would have liked more of the much underrepresented chili aioli and if we had dined in person would have just asked for some on the side. This is a must try again for me.

Danielle K.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped at Belse, a large, open space in a downtown Dallas office building, as our last meal in Dallas. It has a fairy casual ambience, and the service was very friendly. I admit that I wasn't sure of going when we planned our trip, but I'm glad I went. My boyfriend got a smoked sangria, which, if you're a sangria lover, you have to get. The server made a show of swirling the smoke around the drink as he lifted the dome from the glass. For food, we shared the lemon poppy-seed waffles and the tofu benedict, and both were just delicious. The server admitted to eating the waffles with his hands, but since I poured the maple sauce on it, I wasn't going to do that. It's one place I'll have to revisit if I come back to Dallas (or maybe they could open one here in DC?).

Shivani M.

Yelp
Was looking for a vegan restaurant in Dallas and wow this place was amazing! We started with the fennel flatbread and it was so tasty. The flavors were so unique and I would definitely go back and have this again. Then we had the Belse burger which was so delicious and filling. All the sauces inside really made the burger unique from a regular impossible burger. Last we had the hibiscus cheesecake and WOW. Ive always been afraid of vegan cheesecake but this was one of the most amazing cheesecakes I have ever had- and honestly I couldnt even tell it was even vegan. Overall the service was great and the patio was really cute. I will definitely be bringing my vegan friends here.

Karen K.

Yelp
We had brunch there a few months back. I meant to write this sooner but forgot. There were 3 of us, one an out-of-town guest. We had the sliders, waffles, and pancakes. All were really good. None of us are vegans either, one is orthodox and vegan works. It's just very good food. May have been 5 star, I just don't remember.

Serena M.

Yelp
My partner and I came here for dinner one night. The entire atmosphere of this restaurant at night is a vibe. There is spacious seating and mellow lighting. We were seated immediately and our waiter was very friendly. They had a Valentine's special going on but we opted for fried cauliflower as an appetizer, pumpkin pesto-pasta and the cali wrap as entrees. Very filling! The ranch that came with our appetizer was very runny, but the actual cauliflower was good. The pumpkin pesto was delicious, and as a meat eater, I could not tell the difference with the vegan chicken alongside it. The Cali wrap was also tasty, and the side of fries were well-seasoned. Overall it was a good experience

Melissa M.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible food, gorgeous, v aesthetic location, and excellent service. We went as a party of 6 where two vegans were present and everyone else ate meat - even the meat eaters gave it a 10/10 and are eager to go back. A must try, absolutely wonderful and my new favorite vegan restaurant in Dallas. They even make it easy for gluten free and nut free folks!

Brent F.

Yelp
I am from Fort Worth and switched to a plant-based diet 3 years ago. I love to eat out but have struggled to find restaurants that have interesting and creative vegetarian/vegan dishes. On a recent visit to Dallas, I accidentally stumbled onto Belse and decided to take a chance. I'm so I glad I did because it was great! They have beautiful ambiance and a menu chocked full of banger after banger of plant-based dishes. We loved the drinks as well. I only wish they were in FTW too. Parking is challenging but not a show stopper. Can't wait to get back and try the rest of the menu.

Mo E.

Yelp
Heartbroken this restaurant is no more. It's hard to find a vegan place that had dishes that are unique and delicious! The bf and I would always order two appetizers and choose our main dish. Then we would share so we get to a taste and enjoy everything as a whole. The cocktails were good and a kicker, which there's no complaint from me, ha. Thank you, Belse, the restaurant did provide a loving warming place in the downtown area. We need more vegan restaurants like Belse that show others vegan food is delicious.

Arabella J.

Yelp
I came here for an anniversary dinner, and we had a great time. There were only a couple other tables eating when we went, so it was pretty intimate. All of the food was amazing. My favorite was the cashew Brussels sprouts. I almost didn't order them because I was curious just how elevated you could make Brussels sprouts, but they were so flavorful. We also ordered the sushi which was very refreshing. To drink I had a Smokey sangria, which was different that any other sangria I've had. I like a smokey flavor, so I enjoyed it. For an entree split the burger after eating two appetizers which was the perfect amount for us. The sauce/topping in the burger was delicious. We ended the meal with the cookies and milk - also delicious and a sizable portion. Tell both your vegan and meat-eating friends about this place! Come support!

-Marvin W.

Yelp
Downtown Dallas plant based restaurant. Had a lot to choose from and nice portions, from the appetizers to the entrées. The service was attentive and great. As I said, the menu is expansive and you can take the kids there, as there are selections for them. Highly recommend and try the sweet potato empanadas!

Chris P.

Yelp
Very tasty! Was looking for some plant-based options in Dallas and this one did not disappoint! The empanadas are absolutely delicious- flaky and crisp outside with a nice sweet potato filling. The burger was great too! Then the hibiscus cheesecake was a great close to the whole meal. Really enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back here the next time I visit Dallas!

Trall H.

Yelp
We came here for brunch - two vegetarians and two meat-eaters - and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The food was amazing and I wish I could have sampled more of the menu. The food is prepared artfully, the service was impeccable, and the location clean and proper. I had a burrito, which I still think back to positively. Definitely recommended for vegans and non-vegans alike.

MS B.

Yelp
This is one of my all time favorite Vegan spots! It reminds me of the 5 star fine dining VEGAN restaurants in Los Angeles. I recently made reservations at a new spot in LA that shall remain nameless. The other spot is really cute too, but when I checked out their menu and there were little to no Plant based options I will be back at Belse's in Dallas to celebrate my birthday again!!!!! The food is amazing as always and can't wait to try Belse's in New York!

Bryant A.

Yelp
Belse is becoming the go to nowadays. The patty melt my partner told me was amazing. (She is quite a picky eater.) I also tried the Fennel topped flatbread which was very tasteful! I was in the mood for just a cookie for some reason but didn't see any singular cookies in the menu. To my surprise, a FREE to go cookie came with my order.. you guys are mind readers!!!

Courtney B.

Yelp
It's a cute venue with delicious plant based options and cocktails. It's hard to find places that understand much less focus on plant based diets - Belse does this so well. I recommend the Paloma and Moscow Mule cocktails, the cauliflower bites, sweet potato empanadas, and fennel flatbread. My daughter's grilled cheese had the gooey melted cheese which is hard and crispy fries.

Betty S.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow, but nice waiter. Good food, fresh and menu items that were a bit non traditional, so enjoyed that. Outdoor seating, good for Spring and Fall in Texas!

Merlin F.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this restaurant!! The food was amazing and the waiters are always super friendly!! Highly recommend this place to all food lovers!!

Katie G.

Yelp
Belse is AMAZING! It's created by the owners of Little Pine in LA, which is also all vegan and delicious. It's a beautiful space, both inside and outside. Not at all crowded on a Sunday morning. Everything on the menu looked great-we chose the Benedict and the lemon poppyseed waffles. Both were so good, but my favorite was the Benedict...haven't had anything like this and you have to try it! We were too full for the raspberry danishes, but took them to go and they are to die for as well. Wish Belse was in Austin and hope to come back soon!

Ciera R.

Yelp
The most delicious American food on Dallas. I can't get enough of this vegan panko chicken with pasta. Cozy atmosphere and a most friendly staff.

Afton M.

Yelp
Yum! What a wonderful plant based restaurant! It was BEAUTIFUL and clean. Atmosphere was bright and wonderful for a date or meeting up with a friend. The food was perfect - superb and delicious! I recommend you get the empanadas (more like samosas) as an appetizer. The price was slightly higher than other restaurants, but the quality of food, presentation, and atmosphere was WELL worth the price. The staff was also friendly, incredibly helpful, and service was great. I brought a non-vegan friend and the wonderful waitress was able to explain the menu in detail and recommend options if you're not used to plant based food. My friend actually ended up ordering a very plant based meal and really liked it! So kudos for making food non-vegans like! I saw a review about portion sizes, so I wanted to address: Portion sizes match the rest of the world. America is used to very large sizes, hence us being obese. Portion sizes were delectable and fantastic, especially if you hate wasting food. If you're extra hungry, grab an extra "shareable plate" to fill up on!

Kristin A.

Yelp
Food was average, service average at best, although we were seated quickly and without reservations (probably should have seen the writing on the wall with that last comment).

Priya G.

Yelp
We were pretty pumped about this place, but ended up leaving disappointed. Would probably rate it 3.5 stars, which pains me, because we were stoked about a vegan joint in Dallas. The maki roll was the best item that we had on the menu. The watermelon is refreshing and the wasabi adds a nice kick. The brussel sprouts were subpar. They were oily and salty, and could have used some spice. The cantaloupe pizza was surprisingly good, but not extraordinary. We got it because it was the most inventive thing on the menu, but could barely taste the mint. Would not get it again. The real disappointment came when we tried to credit our parking (website says to park in a certain $5 parking lot which it gives clear instructions to, and they will credit $5 towards your receipt.) The parking on the website was actually $7 or $10 and wasn't working online, so we used the machine in the lot, which charged $5. Our server basically said he could only credit $7 or $10 towards our meal for our parking - but that wasn't reflected online on their website. Anyways, $70 with tip seemed pretty overpriced for this meal that left us less than satisfied. Maybe would go again, but would probably try other items on their menu, like the mac & cheese, or the grilled cheese. And would probably save room for the chocolate chip cookies. Personally think this place needs to step up their game, might be one of the few vegan joints in Dallas, but it doesn't compare to strong vegan joints in other major cities.

Yelp
If you're reading this, the answer is yes--make a reservation or call in an order. This place is terrific. Typically when I eat a plant only meal I miss the meat. Not here. I left satisfied I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, and you can't go wrong with a main course according to our collective data from our table. The smoked sangria is something I'll be sure to order again. It was absolutely delightful. The cookies and oat milk were a crowd favorite too! I'll definitely be eating here again soon! The tables are also spread out enough that you hardly hear anyone else in the restaurant which made for easy conversation and a really enjoyable evening. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and reason enough to come back even if the food hadn't been as spectacular as it was.

Yelp
You MUST get the sweet potato empanadas and add the green sauce that comes with it. I'm not sure what the green sauce is but it's one of the best sauces I've had. The burger and melt were good along with the fries. The place has a nice vibe and good staff.

Yelp
Always I must preface this kind of review with my utter appreciation for the intention behind all vegan/vegetarian restaurants. They get a star just for that. These kinds of establishments are often gateways for omnivores to see the possibilities that exist. That said, when you've been vegan or vegetarian for a long time you either continuously pay a lot of money for food made from fairly low cost plant-based ingredients, or you learn lots of tricks yourself. For most of us, it's the latter. So when we eat at a place like this the bar is super high. We are always hopeful for clever twists, ideas, things we can potentially try at home. For what we had, I can't say I haven't or couldn't replicate this at home. (Hubby agreed so I'm not just being full of myself here) This is a place you go for a special occasion or if you're just on a higher food budget then it's probably not a big deal. I found the kids options in particular a bit pricey ($9 for a chao grilled cheese or $10 for 4 chikn tenders - either option with fries). Again, you have to realize the location is not cheap. You're paying for ambiance, etc. On to the food - I was stoked to try the watermelon ahi tuna. I've never had a savory mock meat watermelon preparation so was looking forward to it. (They are removing from the menu so bummer if you're hoping to try!) I never did enjoy raw sushi much when I ate meat but it was such a curiosity for me I had to try. It was quite interesting. My husband was a little grossed out because he said he felt like he just ate meat - so, in my book, that's win for the chef! The fennel flatbread was good. It wasn't anything unusual I haven't done at home but it was tasty. For my husband the absolute highlight were the sweet potato empanadas. You hit the mark there! Being from Argentina he knows a good empanada and is quite discriminating with them, but he adored these. In retrospect he said he'd had preferred getting 2-3 orders of empanadas rather than sampling more plates as we did. So don't skip those if you're looking for a worthwhile app. The watermelon limeade was also a winner. Nice and tart with sweetness balanced well. The root soup and pesto pasta were both ok, but nothing really stood out for me. We skipped dessert and after a few apps and entrees it was around $100. Not something we do on the regular but we were interested in trying Belse while in Dallas. So mission accomplished. I'll recommend to the chefs involved to keep trying new techniques and out of the box stuff. That's really where vegan food shines. Otherwise you'll get angry vegans who feel like someone who "doesn't get it" is trying to upcharge subpar vegan food by exploiting "the v word" - and the added bonus of really blowing rhe omnivores' minds! Keep up the good work!

Yelp
Interesting place with lots of good vegan options. Located in a great spot and priced fair for the location.
