We’ve passed by many times, and today our family was finally so happy to stop in and visit the long-awaited Ben & Jerry’s! It was absolutely worth the wait. Jamie, the staff member who helped us, was amazing — so kind and patient. She introduced us to her favorite flavors and even made a special pink strawberry waffle bowl that our kids loved. She treated every customer with genuine warmth and care. This wonderful day became even better thanks to this lovely ice cream shop — and the lovely people we met here.

Chubby Hubby: The first thing that came to my mind when I spotted this flavor was “dad bod”, but with a name like Chubby Hubby, what else should I be thinking? The Ben & Jerry’s (BJ’s) pint earns its name as it comes in at 1,400 calories if eaten in a single sitting. Each pint contains vanilla malt ice cream with peanutty fudge-covered pretzels with fudge & peanut buttery swirls. What stands out to me as being its most unique aspect is the fudge-covered pretzels. There was a fair amount of them, most had a crispy/crunchy texture, while a couple were somewhat soft and soggy. Not my favorite part of this pint, but not bad either. What won me over was the thick and abundant fudge swirls. Absolutely phenomenal! The peanut butter swirls were not as thick or numerous, but there were enough to add just the right amount of peanut buttery flavor to complement the fudge and vanilla malt. Speaking of vanilla malt, it worked fine as a mostly neutral base flavor as the fudge and peanut butter easily overpower it. This is another fantastic flavor from BJ’s that just misses my top 5 but would be in my top 10. I am so happy with Ben and Jerry’s. They have dairy free whipped cream?!?! And their sundaes and shakes are fantastic. The staff was so cool and they have flavors that weren’t at the grocery store.

We catered in Ben & Jerry’s for an Employee Appreciation Event and the ice cream variety was delicious! The staff made it so easy for set up, they were friendly and professional. We look forward to our next event!!

We love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and support their mission. However, we’ve been having issues with the portion sizes. My mother-in-law is 87 years old and doesn't want to eat a large serving. The last two times we visited this location, the employees refused to give her a small cup. They said it was a children’s size and that they couldn’t serve it to her. Today, I asked politely for just a small amount — about one spoonful — in a cup for her. She doesn’t want more than that. I had to repeat the request three times because the employee kept insisting on giving her two scoops or a larger portion. We don't care to pay one big spoon, we were not complaining for the price, we just want a small spoon of ice cream for her. Can you train your employees to understand that sometimes elderly people cannot eat large portions? Thanks.

I've driven past this Ben & Jerry's for years and finally made the stop and wow, what a treat. I've never been in a standalone Ben & Jerry's before, and honestly? Way more delicious than just grabbing a pint from the store. Maybe it's the atmosphere, maybe it's the perfect scoop texture, but it hit different. It also felt like there were way more flavors than I'm used to seeing at the grocery store... or maybe I've just never paid enough attention while holding a frosty carton in aisle 5. Either way, I was impressed. Even though they had a bunch of cones ready to go, the staff made me a fresh one. Super nice touch! Only downside was that it could've used a little more batter. Mine had a few tiny holes that turned into leak zones. I ended up with ice cream all over my hands like a kid at summer camp. The worker was super kind and patient, and the whole vibe was refreshing. Nothing beats enjoying a scoop on the patio. Houston's ice cream scene can be hit or miss, but this place was a definite win. And hey--it also feels good to support a business like Ben & Jerry's that actively supports causes and takes a stand on important social and political issues. Support businesses that actually support others.

Many years ago, when my kids were much younger our favorite day at Ben & Jerry's was Free Cone Day. Unlimited ice cream after school for free. As they binged on scoops of Cherry Garcia, Phish Food, New York Super Fudge Chunk and Dulce De-lish, they also made memories at our annual day of "We all scream for Ice Cream." How many times would they go to get another scoop? Cup or cone? Over the years, they realized less cones meant they could indulge in more scoops of ice cream. On one outing, they went head to head with a group of Rice University students. I think they thought that was the coolest as they compared notes. Both groups hitting double digits, until I finally cut my kids off. This year, just a single scoop of Triple Caramel Chunk for me. Thanks, Dante. Such a sweet treat and a sweet memory.

I was in the mood for some icecream and looked to see what was close to me and Ben and Jerry's popped up. Now I've had Ben and Jerry's from the store plenty of times but this was the first time I went to one of their shops. Since it had been awhile since I've had some ice-cream from a shop I over indulged I opted for a cone bowl with chocolate and sprinkles. I then got the two scoops and got the cookies and cream and chocolate fudge icecream. Guysssss this was soooo goood. I thought I was going to save some for the next day but it stood no chance. I fell into a sugar coma soon after. If you're looking for some good icecream or other treats Ben and Jerry's has you covered!

I went here on a Tuesday afternoon to celebrate getting through some exams. Ben & Jerry's is one of the few ice cream places I can still go to and enjoy due to having to rely on nondairy ice cream. I got my nondairy strawberry cheesecake ice cream that I first fell in love with at the shop down in Galveston. Be sure to bring your card, while they still somewhat take cash, they are moving towards cashless which I don't totally agree with (I understand safety but sometimes its easier to carry some money as you never know when credit card systems go down) The man behind the counter was nice enough to let me pay with cash in which I left a good tip in the tip jar that ironically only had cash in it. Other then that, it was a great visit. 2 scoops in a waffle cone cost me roughly around $11.

For the last couple of weeks I've been on a mission to nab a pint of Marshmallow Sky, you know the marshmallow ice cream with chocolate chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough chunks. I tried HEB, no luck, Whole Foods, no luck, Kroger, naw, even Walgreens, nope! That's when I remembered I could go to the source, the scoop shop! Accessing this shop from across the street is...tricky, Kirby Dr. can collect a lot of traffic, there is no traffic light, and the parking lot is odd, but your patience will be rewarded. Opening the door, it was just a hungry me, the Ben and Jerry's team member, catchy music, and the glorious smell of waffle cone. They offer a pretty ample selection! Although I came intending to grab one, singular pint of Marshmallow Sky, I left with that, a pint of Impretzively Fudged (freshly scooped just got me by the team member), and a scoop of New York Super Fudge Chunk in one of those cone bowls complete with hot fudge drizzle. The team member was a friendly, non-judgmental accomplice in my gluttony. They even packed my pints with three little wooden spoons, so I could pretend like I would share! Did I spend upwards of $30 on ice cream? Yep. Was it worth it? Yep! Worth every penny, and I'd do it again!

It's so cool going and seeing all of the Ben and Jerry's flavors and getting to sample them all. Service here is great, Dante is so amazing and will tell you about the best flavors.

We have been to the Vermont factory, we got the shirt and although we drive by here all the time , we still have never been. Tonight it was carpe diem night. And with that we pulled into an empty store mid-week. Check in to get a ten percent discount on Yelp although I saw my receipt and it said "student" discount so maybe students also get this without a check-in.

Stopped in for 2 scoops. I sampled at least 7 different things before I settled for the mango sorbet, which stole my heart and tastebuds. I paired it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I sat on the patio because it was a little cold inside. The staff was very patient and welcoming and gave great recommendations.

Great experience at the Kirby location today thanks to Jamie! She greeted us as soon as we entered and was extremely friendly & patient to the several other customers in line in front of us. Super helpful and presented as someone who loves her job. And, the ice cream was good, too! ;)

I have came because my friend has a sweet tooth . The server a young African American woman was brilliant. My friend said. not seeing vegan shakes . The server said nothing on menu , but here the options I'll maple you one. Everything is like that no problem. Parking street parking. Claw to Rice village a great choice to feed your sweet tooth

It's Ben and Jerry's the only wrong they have ever done to me was close down the location in 1960. I got the New York super fudge chuck mixed with caramel praline, which was amazing. Ben n Jerry's has the best ice cream and it's a shame there is only one shop in Houston. I must say I felt sorry for the young lady working she was by herself and people were just pouring in but she did as best as she could to hold the fort down. Great Ice cream and its even better on a cold day

The service was amazing. Daylen encouraged us to try all the flavors we wanted! He truly made the experience. Super friendly and engaging - he ensured that we will be back in the near future. The lights out front were off even though the store was open. This was a little off putting but daylen honestly made it a five star experience. Parking is a little tough, being right off Kirby, but stop by if you have a sweet tooth.

I enjoy bringing my kids here for a sweet treat. The cookies are so fresh and the ice cream is like none other. It's always so inviting and pleasant when we visit. The Employee (Mya) was extremely helpful in helping us decide

Please take this review with a grain of salt because I went on National Cone Day. I got the Change the Whirled which was delicious. I liked that it was a non-dairy option but still had great caramel and cookie flavors. I also tried the Berry Berry Extraordinary Sorbet but I couldn't snag a picture sadly because it was pretty hot so it melted quickly but it was amazing as well. Parking was really difficult to find and we walked about a block to get to the establishment. The inside is fairly small. There was no seating inside but there is a patio with seating outside. Service is good considering how busy they were. They moved the line quickly and efficiently.

Jamie hosted our office party and was awesome! The ice cream truck came to our office and served fresh and cold ice cream with toppings! The music helped set the mood. Thanks Jamie!!

I've worked with this team for a couple of events now and have enjoyed all of it! They've done an ice cream social and a cocoa bar for me at my properties and they've killed it.

Called before I drove here to see what flavors were offered for non-dairy. Daylan was super friendly and answered all my questions! He continued to provide great service upon my arrival. Me and my son will be back!! The strawberry cheesecake option is AMAZING. It's made with oat milk.

I came on national ice cream cone day and the whole corner was packed! I had to park in another plaza and walk over. The line for the storefront was pretty long as it had wrapped around the block meanwhile there was another line for the catering ice cream truck. We had gotten in the line to go in the store first and the line was moving pretty quickly. There were a variety of flavors so picking just one flavor was a hard decision but you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. I ended up choosing the Tonight Dough and it was tasty and sweet. On this day you could get endless scoops in a waffle cone if you keep going back in line and that's what I did next but with the ice cream truck. The truck didn't have as many flavors so I settled for the chocolate chip dough. Everyone in line was with their families or groups of friends and it felt like a community as the vibes were immaculate here.

Been a huge fan since Hurricane Harvey. They were one of the only businesses open during the Hurricane Harvey aftermath. As always delicious ice cream coupled with friendly amazing service considering the condition Houston was in at the time is something greatly appreciated. For that reason alone this is our go to ice cream shop from now on

I have been wanting to try this place since we drive by this place all the time. I must say that the ice cream was pretty good and I prefer this than the ones they have in the grocery stores freezer. A small cup will get you two scoops of ice cream. I ordered the new york chunky and blue marshmallow and they were both delicious. I am docking a star because the tables need to be cleaned and the ice cream is a little bit expensive. The small ice cream was around $8 but you get two scoops. I signed up for their rewards program which will get you 10% off every time you buy anything in the store and a free scoop for your birthday. They also sell ice cream pints, milkshake, sundaes, and ice cream cake. I believe you can also get a customized ice cream cake if you order ahead of time. Parking may be challenging if it is busy but people just usually buy ice cream and go. They do have a little outside patio if you would like to hang out outside because it gets pretty cold inside. Overall, I don't mind coming here but just not all the time because the ice cream is kind of expensive.

Great creatively inspired ice cream flavors with friendly, helpful staff. For those of us who are lactose intolerantX there are delicious nondairy options. For special occasions, you can order an ice cream cake in the design and flavors that you prefer, including nondairy ice cream cakes. This is the perfect treat on a hot Houston morning, afternoon or evening.

Ice cream was great! Waffle cones were delicious and fresh. Service was too tier! She was so sweet. Atmosphere, wish the store had a little more room, I have 4 kids plus husband and me. So we were tight at the table.

Just got Back from Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream on Kirby. Terrible service! I brought my ice chest to purchase three or four pints of ice cream. The clerk didn't even listen to what I wanted, pointing me to the freezer section with pre-packaged pints of ice cream. He didn't care if I found what I wanted. Someone came over to me at the freezer, but by then I was frustrated trying to find the selections that I wanted. Will never go back to that place again.

Exceptional service from my man Dallen! He was patient and educated on all products. I would highly recommend bringing friends and family to this location.

Ben & Jerry's never disappoints! So many good choices that I never know what to choose. They could give you a little more bang for your buck but I love Ben & Jerry's and love the options.

Great service, cute ambiance. Loved being able to try flavors you can't find in grocery stores! I tried the pineapple passionfruit sorbet and a coffee flavor (can't remember which one specifically, but I believe it was the coffee coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz). The coffee coffee coffee was already one of my favorites, but the sorbet blew me away! I truly regret not being able to find it in stores near me. The sorbet is just sweet enough, tart, and had delicious fruit chunks in it. Will definitely have to stop by a Ben & Jerry's location to find more sometime!

I feel really bad posting this but I know anyone else would be livid pissed. I wasn't going to ask for an inscription, but the man OFFERED. So I'm thinking he knows how to do a decent inscription, right? Sad part is I could have done it myself but thought hey, he offered to do it, it'll save me some time. I'd skip the inscription here... it's so bad, I can't look away! I'm sorry to the man who did this for me. I'm too nice to tell you it sucked, but my bf and I got a kick out of it. But you should do some practicing on parchment paper! You can scrape up the frosting and reuse it (for practice!) over and over. You got this. I'll say the ice cream was good of course, it's Ben & Jerry's so you can't go wrong. But it's like... a $6 pint would be a better gift than this - and I paid $40!!

Simple and Sweet Ben & Jerry's is always good no matter where you go but the manager and employees running this store are just awesome! They show they care a lot about the people coming in. They offered samples and suggestions to me since I honestly had no idea which flavors to get. They also accidentally charged me for something I hadn't ordered but fixed it immediately and even comped me with a free cookie! Talk about awesome customer service! I'll definitely be back to this store soon and they also play some pretty dope music! Prices are what you'd expect from B&J but i got a small ice cream cup and it was about 6 bucks with tax.

Great stop at B&Js! My wife & I went in to see if they had the new Colin Kaepernick Ice Cream, Change the Whirled. Unfortunately, they did not have it at the time. The manager was accommodating; he shared that he has been calling to get the order's status. The manager took down my phone number and shared that he would call when the product came in. Very nice! They were informative about the product, meaning I eat plant based diet, & he took me straight to the berry Sharpay.

The staff here is super friendly! My sister was craving ice cream so we decided to stop by on our way home. When we were browsing, none of us knew what we wanted so we tried a bunch of different samples. Our helper was really nice the entire time and was patient with our indecisiveness. He smiled throughout our conversations, was polite, and made us feel welcomed. After much thought, I decided to go with the cookies and cream (one of my favorite)! Ice cream was good and really hit the spot. With all these Mom and Pop ice cream shops open now, I sometimes forget how good the ice cream chains are (Baskin Robins, Marble Slab, etc.). Sometimes its good to switch things up a bit and come back to your roots. The ice cream doesn't look like it's made from the store, but when you think about it, does it really need to be? Consistency is where these guys win so you can always expect delicious favorites.

IMO overpriced. I got a Children's scoop in a cone and a children's scoop in the smallest cup available and paid over $8. Flavor wise, I got cherry garcia which I could've gotten more for less at the grocery store.... and chocolate for my toddler. Napkins are very small & thin. They're located only by the register. Not convenient in both senses. Bathroom smelled stale. Service was friendly enough. I wasn't impressed. The place wasn't dirty but it definitely needs an update and didn't give a great impression.
