Google
One of my favorite ice creams to buy at a store and it’s so great that I can walk into this shop and get one on a cone or cup! Super friendly service, great tasting ice cream that fills your sweet cravings.

Ganna Golovenko (Anna)

Google
It's small and pretty busy. There are a few tables and not much space to even get past other customers. The staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of menu choices including milkshakes and other drinks. The ice cream was delicious, we had lemonade dairy free ice cream, chocolate and mint chocolate chunk.

Farhin Ahmed

Google
This store is always packed. Ice creams are great! There isn’t much seating spaces indoor, but plenty of space outside.

Google
Disappointing Experience Staff were inattentive and unfriendly. My banana split was carelessly made, the banana looked like it was just thrown in. No effort, no help. Definitely not the experience you'd expect from Ben & Jerry's. Not recommended you're better off buying ice cream from the supermarket.

Traditionally Modern Food

Google
We went to Green lake park and visited Ben & Jerry’s for ice cream. Good service Triple caramel chunks, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream tasted so good Good Outside seating space Strawberry cheesecake was just ok They were out of kid’s cone. My son tried chocolate cone but he didn't like it

I go to this specific Ben and Jerry’s location very often as I am never dissatisfied with what I get and it never fails to be extremely good. The workers are always very nice and most of the flavors are fully stocked and fresh most of the time. (I suggest “the tonight dough”, “phish food”, or “marshmallow sky” as those are my personal favorites.).

Google
Every time I go to this Ben and Jerry's I'm treated with respect. Never have to wait to get ice cream. While making my ice cream there is always good conversation. Hands down the best ice cream shop in town . Keep it up guys your killing it!!!!!!!

Google
Very bad service. They need some training in basic communication. I called in advance and sent my kid in to purchase and delayed me by 20 min. Told him there was no reservation. Terrible.

Yelp
I want to start with , I take everyone I know here . The staff are amazing and so kind and their pizza is authentic. Every time I go it's so amazing. And I have been 5 times so far and order to my house once and it was still amazing . They have gluten free and lactose free options but I will be honest bring your lactose and gluten pills and enjoy yourself because it's that good. One of my times I ordered gluten free with no cheese and it was still fuqin amazing . I'm telling you . You won't regret it.opps this is for Rocco pizzeria

Yelp
How I heard of this place: C'mon! It's Ben & Jerry's. Type of cuisine: All things ice cream - including cakes, cones stuffed with it, cups of it, blended versions. Ambiance: Cozy and quaint, the space is small and seems more intended to take-away than in-house enjoyment of your creamy treats. A few stools available at the barquette at the wall; more seating is available in the shared outdoor patio space. Colorful, whimsical wall murals and two spots for ice cream flavors to be viewed, the glass cases allow for perusal and drooling over the delicious concoctions of flavors. What I ordered: On this visit, CoffeeCoffeeBuzzBuzzBuzz. My first time trying it, it was a great balance of bitter dark chocolate and coffee, with a sweetness that gives the caramel color. What I loved: The sweet coffee and dark chocolate combination. Why I loved it: Friendly service, efficient and yumminess for a sunny day visit. Cost: Average. And one free scoop each year!

Yelp
Ben & Jerry's saved the day! If I could give 10 stars I would. Without divulging too many details, my partner got a last-minute request to get a gluten free ice cream birthday cake for a VIP client. He was feeling dejected after calling numerous ice cream shops who said they couldn't do the job. Finally he called Ben & Jerry's and they assured him they could get the cake ready by that evening. The cake looked great, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Most importantly, the client loved the cake. We so appreciate your help, Ben & Jerry's crew. Thanks!
google avatar

Angelica A.

Yelp
It's Ben & Jerry's, so it's a given that the ice cream will be good and it is. However, if you're in a good mood and enjoying a nice sunny day, you might not want to come here. The staff seem to go out of their way to make it painfully obvious that your mere existence is ruining their day. Sure, they'll scoop the ice cream but they'll complain through it and make you regret ordering a single scoop in a waffle cone. But I digress.

Yelp
S/o to maggie for making my night!!! My kids were thrilled and we got top notch service. Give my girl a raise $$$$ she's amazing 10/10 coming back just for her

Yelp
ATTN MANAGEMENT: 10/15/22 @2pm While the flav of my ice cream was delicious The employee with short hair did not present with ANY customer service. I had to upsell my own ice cream completely!! Three customers behind me gave a look of disgust as well. We are expecting at least a "hello", or a "Welcome to B&Js" followed by a decent half smile to say the very least when walking into an ice cream shop for heavens sakes. Her mood and demeanor was non-engaging, followed by lack of gestures for enthusiasm when interacting with customers. What is this??? Almost makes me want to go to Molly Moon or Chocolati next door. Please dont bring down the morale of Green Lake at an all time favorite Ice Cream Merch. If thats whats being served on a Saturday afternoon during the Championship for the Mariners by the lake, we dont want it!
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
I liked the ice cream. It was a fun experience to visit a Ben & Jerry's. The waffle cones are the bomb!
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
Kee forgetting this location, Small shop. Lots of varieties of cones. Feel like there weren't 31 flavors but I could be wrong since it seems smaller than most other B&J's I've been too. Service was friendly
google avatar

Hannah Y.

Yelp
Decent service and decent ice cream! Would recommend this place while walking around green lake since it's so close. Note: you cannot use the yelp %10 discount.
google avatar

Terri B.

Yelp
It's Ben & Jerry's! What else is there to say?!?! Nice location, outdoor seating, decent prices. The waffle cones are good....not stale like they sometimes can get. Phish Food! Yay!
google avatar

Dustin N.

Yelp
Our cones tonight were so small I didn't know if they included Ice Cream. Like honestly we laughed after paying. The sugar cones also taste like cardboard. Worst ice cream cone of our lives. My wife was 40 weeks pregnant and still hated it!!!
google avatar

Jason R.

Yelp
Great ice-cream and amazing chocolate shake. And great location right next to Greenlake.

Yelp
My first encounter with this Ben and Jerry's was good. It was my birthday and I went in for a cake on a whim. I ended up choosing a cake and the cake was delicious. The writing on the cake was pretty bad though. Oh well, it was free to add writing anyway. My next visit to this shop started out good. I even got my ice cream on a fancy cone. But after a few bites I noticed a hair baked into the cone. I pulled it out and it was definitely a hair. EW. Went back in and got a refund. Probably won't be going back. Doesn't seem super clean in there anyways.

Yelp
From time to time, I receive promotional emails for discounts and free ice creams. And though, yes, it states to print out the coupon in the fine print, I have never actually done that, as the employees have accepted seeing the coupon on my phone (it is 2019, who prints coupons out?) So today, I decided I needed a mid-day pick me up. I sample, select and am checking out when the gentleman tells me I have to have the coupon printed. I mentioned the coupon while I was sampling - he must have seen I didn't have anything but my phone on me and still proceeded to put me through all that? I also explained that this has never happened and that the digital coupons have always been accepted. Everyone knows this ice cream is sub par (Molly Moons FTW). But even still, I like to support this neighborhood shop. So, instead of getting more of my business, that free coupon ruined any future business.

Leah S.

Yelp
Delicious ice-cream and cakes! Friendly employees and great service. Very nice to have non-dairy options.

Yelp
I figured with the political climate today now would be the perfect time to post my Ben & Jerry's review! I support everything they stand for and overall just really believe in the company's morals. Their ice cream is delicious! I always buy the pints at the grocery store but went in a little while back and got a cone at their ice cream shop location. There are SO many flavors, which I think are pretty creative (and many are unique!). I will say that they have more of the chocolate, vanilla, PB, etc flavors and less so fruity/other ones. Everything I've tried is delicious- some of my favorites are milk and cookies, americone dream, and chunky monkey! A lot of people complain about the price, but I recently learned that apparently the company believes in paying all their workers a living wage, so it makes sense that they would charge more for the product! Overall, I highly recommend Ben and Jerry's!

Rachel L.

Yelp
Always love going into the Ben & Jerry's shop located in green lake! They have the most enthusiastic and friendly staff and truly care about the customers experience! Ice cream is on the more expensive side but you really get what you pay for, the ice cream is quality-- would recommend the waffle cones. I love Ben & Jerry's and everything they stand for and I can't wait to continue going!
google avatar

Jules J.

Yelp
Way too expensive & not worth it at all! Spent $30.00 for three ice creams and one of them wasn't even in a cone, just a cup. The lemon sorbet in the cup was too small of a scoop! It was tiny! Waste of money! I Will never go back when we are at Greenlake!
google avatar

Simon B.

Yelp
Awesome creamy ice cream, love the variety and quality. Hand packed Cherry Garcia my fave to-go tub.
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
Even though it is entering fall and the temperature is dropping, I find myself continuing to return to Greenlake for some sweet, sweet B&J's. The staff is always cheerful and upbeat and try to be as helpful as possible. There is limited, crowded indoor seating but if the day is nice there are plenty of tables outside. If you're up for it, there is also a nice walking path around the lake right across the street that provides some scenery for your creamy indulgence. Makes for a great date! I only rate this location 4 stars because of price and frequent technical difficulties. I rarely carry more than $5-10 cash unless I am expecting to use more before I leave the house and the majority of the times I have visited this location their card reader has been down without the employees knowing how to fix it or who to call. As for price, it seems a bit outrageous to me that a small cone costs more than an entire pint of the same flavor at any major grocer. I guess you pay for the experience.

Juniper H.

Yelp
So great I love it so much tho I wish you have cookies and cream also I am sooooo wondering if you have French vanilla???

Allison B.

Yelp
Below average in my opinion. Chunky Monkey was ok. The gluten free ice cream had an odd texture. Not worth the price. The cones were not fresh and the salesperson acted like she would have rather been anywhere else.
google avatar

Yelp
I keep forgetting how freaking delicious Ben & Jerry's ice cream is. Thank goodness I have a teeny tiny excuse to come here a lot (child) and live down the street. There aren't a lot of flavors here, as other Yelpers have mentioned, but they do have some exclusive stuff like Coffee A Buzz Buzz, which was AWESOME. Please don't advertise a flavor that sounds like it could compete with an orgasm like "Clusterfluff" and then NOT HAVE IT AVAILABLE. Really, Scoop Shop? Really? They had a few cakes inside a freezer, and a very limited number of flavors of prepacked quarts (half quarts?) available, so if you are planning on getting stuff for a birthday or savoring ice cream later, CALL AHEAD or head down to Safeway or something, which offers a lot more selection in terms of flavors. Positives: Allowed an adult to get a kid sized cup, gave actual kid a very generous helping of strawberry (although said kid took about 4 licks of his 4 dollar cone and we ended up tossing the rest), nice and friendly once he arrived for the day. Great outdoor seating. Negatives: closed at the time it should be open (noon) and waiting with a 3-year old for promised ice cream is tough, no calorie information.
google avatar

Alexandria C.

Yelp
It is expensive, I got 3 large cones (2 scoops each) and it cost $26. Beware if you do not want to spend that money on ice cream. Overall nice staff and gave us samples and was polite.
google avatar

Mal V.

Yelp
Ice cream has been the lifeblood of my Covid-era coping mechanisms, but I'm too scared to go into a whole grocery store just for ice cream. Love that this small shop lets one party in at a time. I usually just go for some vegan pint and quickly pay for it with a card -- in and out in about a minute. I've rarely waited to go in, so no long lines outside either like some local shops on these hot days. Plus the company has been awesome during these difficult times and is all in on supporting the BLM movement.

Teresa M.

Yelp
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! It SERIOUSLY makes NO sense that a customer can not have 2 flavors in ONE SCOOP! They said "we want you to purchase TWO"!!! Well... I guess they don't care if they loose customers or not Also.... they won't let you walk thru THEIR door to the bathroom, instead they send you to Zeeks Pizza (ABSOLUTELY AWESOME IN EVERY MANNER!!!) Next door... TRULY NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED AT ALL!!!!
google avatar

Alexis M.

Yelp
I went on free cone day, but got a cup instead. Waited probably 30 minutes but it was free! And the workers were very nice and talked with people in line while we waited. It was a nice treat!

Careese T.

Yelp
My favorite place to get a sweet treat in Greenlake! Always the nicest staff and clean, which is such a plus during COVID times. No matter the time of year, I know I can count on getting my ice cream fix here. SO GOOD!
google avatar

Kittiya P.

Yelp
Was there on Memorial Day. The weather was gorgeous out, but there was only one guy working. Poor him. Needless to say, there was quite a line. After about 15 minutes of waiting, another girl showed up. I forbid myself from tasting because I didn't want to hold the line. Got the 'Coconut Seven Layer Bar' and was not disappointed. I have been loving all things coconut lately. It was a coconut ice cream with coconut flakes, some sort of nut, and chocolate chunks. Amazing. One thing though...their waffle cone. I love my ice cream on a homemade waffle cone. Theirs are not homemade. I saw the guy opened a new plastic bag of them. Too bad :( Super good ice cream though!!!
google avatar

Laura F.

Yelp
Parking is insanely lacking!!!!!!!! This is located in a very small strip mall directly across from the lake. We drove around in circles for an hour and never did find parking. People ended up just jumping out of the car and then wait for us to come back around to pick them up.
google avatar

Isaiah N.

Yelp
Ben and Jerry's speaks for itself. But the warm welcoming people and great atmosphere makes this one stand out. They go above and beyond to do everything they can to make your experience tip notch. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
You pay for what you get. And I'd rather pay for a product that I know is fair trade and quality. You don't pay $40 for a tattoo and expect a master piece.
google avatar

Becky R.

Yelp
I love the flavors and how there's no crime in tasting EVERY Single flavor before deciding. I'm sad that they don't carry all of the flavors I can buy at the grocery store, but I might get over it. Between that and their closing at 5, I take the liberty of inspiring improvement by removing a star. The staff are fun, honest, and generous with the scoopage, and I care about customer service a lot, so kudos to the mini-me Ben & Jerry folks. Lick lick. Wipes drip of chin, chomp on waffle cone, yummy!
google avatar

Tiffany Valentine W.

Yelp
This is a great little ice cream shop that offers a nice tasty frozen treat to enjoy while walking around the Greenlake neighborhood. Pros: - Fast service - Wonderful quality and taste Cons: - The selection is not as diverse as the Baskin and Robbins used to be (before Baskin and Robbins closed down), but the taste is amazing.
google avatar

Lisa R.

Yelp
My husband and I took a spin around Greenlake and we thought a little ice cream would be the perfect way to ensure the calories we burned weren't for naught. We saw B and J's - we each had a small scoop in waffle cones. Um 14.00? We have been spoiled by Molly Moon and this was really not even close. Ridiculously expensive. One star for a cute girl who waited on us.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
I never realized how much I like Ben & Jerry's till I had my free birthday scoop. Peanut Butter chocolate & Chocolate Fudge are my favorites! The staff at this Ben & Jerrys are super friendly & nice. They are closed during the winter though, I think it was November through March. They close early though most of the year, I think around 8p.m.
google avatar

Samantha E.

Yelp
You really can't go wrong with Ben & Jerry's. The ice cream is delicous (chocolate cherry garcia oh how I love you). Service is fast and friendly. They were even friendly on Free Cone Day, which coincidentally is my favorite holiday of the year. Sure, it's more or just as expensive as buying a pint of the same ice cream at the grocery store. But if I did that I would just eat the whole pint eventually, which would defeat the point of going to the gym, and that would be bad. Also, I wouldn't be able to have a waffle cone, or eat my ice cream at Green Lake. Parking can be tricky in this neighborhood, but the store is right across the street from the bus stop for the 48 (and other busses too).
google avatar

Paula B.

Yelp
Located in a corner of a tiny strip of stores, it's easy to miss this little store. On hot days, there is often a line out the door, but it moves pretty fast. There is a moderate selection of ice cream flavors, and you can choose from a variety of cones, sundaes, and milkshakes. I gave it 3 star (average) rating because: --The store is so small there's barely any seating. In the summer, you can sit outside on the shared patio, but in winter, it gets cramped quickly. --There is a limited number of flavors due to the size of the store --The staff is usually very young people who are sometimes stressed out, but pleasant. --Limited Parking
google avatar

Timothy C.

Yelp
Go here mostly out of convenience (under a 10 minute walk from our house) but it's too rich for my tastes - both in terms of calories and cost. The Tubby Hubby is great - but I prefer a larger portion at menchies or a pint of halo top for less guilt and just as good of flavor for my tastes.
google avatar

Jay H.

Yelp
If you're nearby and need a quick fix for some ice cream it'll do the trick but I can't help feeling like if there were a proper grocery store closer I'd go there to buy a pint of B&J instead. They're flavor offerings are pretty limited, a scoop is ridiculously expensive for what you get and the shop itself feels a bit claustrophobic. Again, if you were, say, at Zeek's for pizza and wanted something sweet afterwards then this is a good option just outside the door but I can't see myself driving or walking just to come here. You're better off going to a grocery store to buy some Ben & Jerry's ice cream and then coming to Green Lake with a spoon... still the ice cream is delicious... Meh.

Taylor T.

Yelp
I was looking forward all day to a hand packed pint. I had gone to a previous location THREE-3 days ago and had found the perfect order of half of one flavor and half of another in a pint. I even called ahead to make sure they had my flavor only to show up and hear that "policy" has changed a MONTH ago- how come I got it at another location within the past few days? We said really, you can't just add two flavors instead of one, same amount of ICECREAM just maybe 7 seconds extra of changing flavors- and they LOST a customer. I walked out. They were NOT accommodating and their inflexibility and lack of effort means I will NEVER go back and this location is the WORST Ben and Jerry's location.
google avatar

Whitney M.

Yelp
Anna was spectacular! There was a big line that she served quickly and gracefully with ease & confidence. Such a wonderful experience at Ben & Jerry's. Such delicious sweet treats to cap off the perfect Seattle weather day. Thank you ANNA!!!
google avatar

Nilla L.

Yelp
When the line is ten people out the door maybe stop frosting the cake and help the only other employee? I don't mind the price if it was good ice cream but it's just not. The location has brought us back twice but we're not going to make it a third time.
google avatar

Kathleen S.

Yelp
$$$$$ $5.25 $M $COOP + $1.95 DIP WAFFLE + $5.25 $M $COOP + $1.25 DIP $UGAR CONE= $15.02 FOR 2 CONE$... YIKE$ ...the high price$ are not ju$tified by the quality and the number of $ doesn't mean it'$ ultra high end ju$t ultra- high priced :( Yesterday I bought a carton of Haagen Daas gelato at Grocery Outlet for $2 and enjoyed it more :)
google avatar

Seattle F.

Yelp
I'm glad they raised their prices. That means they make more money and I don't have to stand in line behind a bunch of cheap esses. For those complaining about people not having patience with kids, work with your kid to figure out what they want. The counter staff were probably annoyed with you and not your kid. Ben, Jerry, keep up the good work.
google avatar

Chelsea J.

Yelp
I continue to be floored by the prices here. $4.55 for a small ice cream in a cup which is indeed quite small. $9.55 for two small ice cream scoops in cups? Wow. The ice cream is delicious as one would expect. I had the Coconut Seven Layer Bar and it was divine. I also tried the Chocolate Therapy and it was wonderful. Very chocolatey. The people at the shop are very nice. Those prices though!
google avatar

Melody M.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream that isn't frozen too hard. There were 3 staff members in the store and we were the only customers but no one was free enough to take our order, which resulted in a longer than needed wait time. Parking can be tricky here but it is convenient to the bus!
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
Greeted upon entry. Very convenient location right next to coffee shops, Greenlake park and other restaurants. You can sample the ice cream before getting a scoop in bowl or a cone. Very fast and friendly customer service. Great unique selection of ice cream, froyo and sorbet available. They don't have everything on the menu, but the creative flavors makes up for everything. Tip: Coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz is very delicious.
google avatar

Shila B.

Yelp
I took a few containers to go for the hostel just for fun. I had the double chocolate and the cherry Garcia. The minute you walk in you smell waffle cones. It was busy bu the line up moved decently.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Damn, this place got so dirty and lethargic. Lazy, filthy place that now serves your ice cream in a cup so small they may as well just scoop it into your bare hand. Go to PCC up the street and get a nice pint of something that's worth your money. This place should be going out of business soon unless they step it up...
