Why the Ben & Jerry’s and Unilever Relationship Is Melting Down - Eater

"The headquarters of Ben & Jerry's, a Vermont-based ice cream company known for its strong social activism and commitment to social justice issues. Founded by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield in 1978, the company has been outspoken on various political and social matters, often putting it at odds with its parent company, Unilever." - Bettina Makalintal

Ben & Jerry's is definitely the best dairy company; supplier of ice cream. And it should propose introducing sugar free and fat free new items.

B & J support everything that the flags that are placed in front of their headquarters. They even go to protest during a senate hearing. Yet, they place their headquarters on stolen land from the Abenaki Tribe dating back from the 17th century. Bunch of hypocrites with lousy ice cream. Shame.

Love the strawberry cheesecake flavor. Only buy pints when they are on sale for like 2 for $6 or 4 for $10 as it is too expensive otherwise. The label here seems wrong.

I used to love Ben & Jerry's icecream but the quality is far from what it used to be and the prices are through the roof. I got a pint of Tonight Dough and there was no peanut butter cookie dough, the regular "cookie dough" did not taste like cookie dough, and the ice cream is not at all as creamy as it used to be. The whole pint just tasted like they added more sugar to cover the fact that they are using lower quality ingredients. They have also completely stopped replying to customer support messages on Facebook. Not looking good for them and I won't be coughing up $7 for a pint any longer.

Let this be the first month of observation: *observation of this corporation returning this land back to the proper tribe. THEN paying Fair Market Value land lease rates (without favorable terms) to the tribe. Anything more financially beneficial would be preferred. How long will this transfer take… this is month one of 2023. We will be watching the calendar. You want to make Ice Cream or do you want to open a division and get into politics or World Economic Forum activities. Do one or the other. If making Ice Cream is the business then keep your comments and opinions to Ice Cream. Thrifty Ice Cream brand hasn’t made a peep of random noise. Try doing what they do. NOTHING but Ice Cream.

Love their ice cream but this is just a corporate office.

Ben and Jerry's trying to replicate Bud Light's business model! First Colin K., NOW this! Flag Burning Clowns...Your Ice Cream is Waaay overpriced for what it is!! If your soo passionate for the cause, donate all your land and $, stand behind your words and get the heck out of this country. You'd make a ton of people happy. Otherwise, shut up and keeping selling subpar ice-cream @ overinflated prices!

Ben & Jerry's were absolutely right America is on Stolen Land from the indigenous peoples who lived here before Europeans came. Ben & Jerry's is located in Vermont there still are descendants of Native Americans and will Ben and Jerry's do the correct thing and give their land back to the indigenous peoples that was stolen from them centuries ago and set the moral example?
